Putin's Ultimatum to the Next U.S. President

Bloomberg

"The next U.S. administration will inherit the worst relationship with Russia since Ronald Reagan called the Soviet Union an evil empire. Judging from the list of grievances that President Vladimir Putin has laid out, even a relatively Putin-friendly Donald Trump will have a hard time satisfying him.

" Putin delivered his message to the future U.S. president Monday, just as the U.S. State Department announced it was suspending negotiations with Russia on a ceasefire in Syria and Russia-backed Syrian troops moved to take more ground in Aleppo. In a bill submitted to parliament, Putin threatened to end a joint U.S.-Russian disarmament program -- in which surplus weapons-grade plutonium is processed into fuel -- unless the U.S. meets certain conditions: " . . .

The Kaine-Pence aftermath

http://terrellaftermath.com/
Sad Attempt! CNN’s Cuomo Tries To Bait Pence Into Attacking Trump  "Pence fired back against Cuomo’s questioning with this solid statement:
People are focused on national security, on public safety, on law and order and on getting this economy moving again…the truth is Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine are running to essentially continue the failed policies of this administration which has weakened America’s place in the world
The marking of Kaine  . . . "Let's get this straight – it was a lie then that Obama, unassisted or not by some "security team," killed Osama bin Laden, and it's a lie now.  SEAL Team Six killed Osama bin Laden.  Neither Obama nor Clinton or any Democrat politician rode a helicopter into Pakistan that night.  Nor can any even imagine either someone like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton riding a helicopter into Pakistan that night." . . .

American soldiers won the Iraq War — politicians lost the fragile peace.  [Kaine] "said it was a “very, very good thing” that instead of 175,000 deployed, we now have only 15,000.
"Well, yes, if America’s enemies were defeated or contained. Instead, American retreat created power vacuums that our enemies filled." . . .

Tim Kaine’s Claim that Clinton Destroyed Iran’s Nuclear Program Is Preposterous  . . . "To steal a line: There are lies, damned lies, and what Tim Kaine said last night." . . .

So Hillary Clinton hasn’t “eliminated” a darn thing. At best, she’s delayed it. Far more likely, though, given Obama’s numerous dereliction's of duty and Iran’s knowledge that it has the whip-hand in this arrangement, is that she has helped to reinvigorate a regime that was growing weak — as the 2009 Green Movement in Iran suggested.
Pence Does What Trump Couldn’t, with Solid Debate  . . . "Where Trump veered onto tangents, missing easy opportunities to attack Clinton, Pence did the opposite, turning most questions into opportunities to hit the Democratic ticket." . . .

How Pence Beat Kaine -- And Revived Trump's Campaign

Vice presidential candidates Tim Kaine and Mike Pence verbally spar during their Tuesday night debate. Most observers say Pence did the better job, though Kaine aggressively attacked Donald Trump. (Newscom)

" . . .And he showed that, whatever else you might say about Trump, he did a good job making his most important hire.
"Meanwhile, Kaine did a lot, we believe, to damage his carefully constructed image as a moderate Democrat — something that, sadly, today seems a contradiction in terms.
"His defense of Hillary Clinton's awful foreign policy record as secretary of state was totally ineffective." . . .

FREE SPEECH CRACKDOWN: Europe tells British press NOT to reveal if terrorists are Muslims

Infidel Bloggers Alliance

. . . “ In this context, it draws attention to a recent study by Teeside University suggesting that where the media stress the Muslim background of perpetrators of terrorist acts, and devote significant coverage to it, the violent backlash against Muslims is likely to be greater than in cases where the perpetrators’ motivation is downplayed or rejected in favour of alternative explanations.' ” . . .
. . . " 'It recommends more rigorous training for journalists to ensure better compliance with ethical standards.” But as Britain prepares to leave the crumbling bloc, the Government waded in to defend freedom of expression.
""In a written statement to the ECRI, the Government said: “The Government is committed to a free and open press and does not interfere with what the press does and does not publish, as long as the press abides by the law.' ”
Rick Moran: European commission tells British press not to use 'Muslim' to identify terrorists . . . "The problem with ECRI is its interpretation of "hate speech."  ECRI administrators appear to be saying that any speech that offends anyone is hate speech.

"But what's really chilling is that they want the government to step in and order journalists and publications to toe the line.  To do that, government would have to oversee the editing process to ensure that no "hate speech" is accidentally posted.  Imagine letting some of those ECRI creeps determine what the British people read.
"Needless to say, the ECRI report should make U.K. citizens grateful they voted to leave the EU.  Let the rest of Europe deal with these pompous asses who are as big a threat to freedom as Hitler or Stalin ever was."

Hillary Caught Using Child Actor At Pennsylvania Town Hall

Zero Hedge  "At a Hillary Clinton town hall yesterday in Haverford, Pennsylvania, a 15 year old girl was supposedly"chosen at random" to ask a question of the former Secretary of State.  But, the well-scripted performance raised some suspicion with a YouTuber named Spanglevision who decided to dig a little deeper.  And, wouldn't you know it, the "random" participant was none other than child actor,Brennan Leach, whose father just happens to be Pennsylvania democratic State Senator Daylin Leach.  Oh, and in case it wasn't obvious, Daylin supports Hillary for president...shocking.
"So, here was the original question from Brennan:
Brennan:
"Hi Madam Secretary.  I'm Brennan and I'm 15 years old.  At my school, body image is a really big issue for girls my age.  I see with my own eyes the damage Donald Trump does when he talks about women and how they look.  As the first female president how would you undo some of that damage and help girls understand that they're so much more than just what they look like?"
"And here was Hillary's attempt at knocking the soft ball out of the park...it's almost like she knew the question was coming.
Hillary:
"I'm so proud of you for asking that question. You are right -- my opponent has just taken this concern to a new level of difficulty and meanness.  And, it's shocking when women are called names and judged solely on the basis of physical attributes.

"My opponent insulted Miss Universe. I mean, how do you get more acclaimed than that?  But, it wasn't good enough. So we can't take any of this seriously any more. We need to laugh at it. We need to refute it. We need to ignore it. And we need to stand up to it."
"Here is the full analysis from Spanglevision.  Among other things, he points out that Brennan is the only participant of the night who reads her question from a prepared script."

Are Americans Tuning Out the NFL Over Protests?

Image result for kaepernick cartoons
Dr. Rich Swier
Rasmussen Reports  "A sizable number of Americans say they may give the National Football League a pass this year, thanks to the player protests over racial issues.

"A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that nearly one-third (32%) of American Adults say they are less likely to watch an NFL game because of the growing number of Black Lives Matter protests by players on the field. Only 13% say they are more likely to watch a game because of the protests. Just over half (52%) say the protests have no impact on their viewing decisions. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

"But as with most questions involving race, blacks and whites have sharply different reactions. Twenty-eight percent (28%) of blacks say they are more likely to tune into an NFL game because of the protests, compared to eight percent (8%) of whites and 16% of other minority Americans. Whites are twice as likely as blacks – 36% to 18% - to say they are less likely to watch this year, and 29% of other minorities agree." . . .

ABC’s Designated Survivor Portrays Police as Violent Islamophobic Killers

Debbie Schlussel

"Tonight’s episode of ABC’s “Designated Survivor” portrays police as violent attackers and killers of Muslims after a terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol. This false portrayal is despite the fact that neither police nor other Americans have attacked Muslims during 15 years of massive Muslim terrorist attacks and mass murders of Americans.
"Last week, I watched the premiere of the highly-hyped new show, starring Kiefer Sutherland as a lowly cabinet secretary who becomes President when the President, the rest of his cabinet, and the entire Congress are killed in a terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol during the State of the Union address. While the show got off to a great start, it became clear that Sutherland, as President Kirkman, is a weak, standard-issue liberal. And the generals are second-guessed as “war-mongers” who want to attack Iran in the Straits of Hormuz. Last week, I predicted on Twitter that there is NO WAY that the terrorists who attacked the Capitol will turn out to be Muslims, as Hollywood continues its endless pretzel-like contortions away from reality. (After all, Muslims would NEVER EVER attack America or the U.S. Capitol, right? See 9/11 and Flight 93 for fact-checking.)"

World War Three will be 'extremely lethal and fast': US Army bosses reveal what could happen if the US took on Russia or China

UK Mail

Artificial intelligence and smart weapons would be at the fore - with a 'modern nation-states acting aggressively' the likely enemy, Army bosses have revealed.

. . . " 'A conventional conflict in the near future will be extremely lethal and fast, and we will not own the stopwatch,' said Maj. Gen. William Hix on a future-of-the-Army panel at the annual meeting of the Association of the U.S. Army in Washington, according to Defence One.

" 'The speed of events are likely to strain our human abilities,' Hix said.

" 'The speed at which machines can make decisions in the far future is likely to challenge our ability to cope, demanding a new relationship between man and machine.' "

True or false? Guccifier 2.0 Hacked Clinton Foundation

First this:  Guccifer Clinton Foundation Hack a Hoax?
. . . On Wednesday, Romanian hacker known as Guccifer announced he hacked into the Clinton Foundation. He showed a screenshot of folders he found in the foundation’s server, which included “docs and donors lists of the Democratic committees, PACs, etc.” He then asks if this surprises anyone, but it did raise a few red flags.

"It turns out, people have discovered that a lot of his new “findings” actually belong to a previous hack on the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). Plus, Clinton Foundation officials said no one could find proof that someone hacked its server." . . .
The reporters also noticed that this time around, Guccifer typed in broken English and mainly used emojis. In the past, Guccifer typed in near perfect English.

Guccifer 2.0  "Many of you have been waiting for this, some even asked me to do it.
"So, this is the moment. I hacked the Clinton Foundation server and downloaded hundreds of thousands of docs and donors’ databases.
"Hillary Clinton and her staff don’t even bother about the information security. It was just a matter of time to gain access to the Clinton Foundation server.
"Here’s the contents of one of the folders that I got from there" . . .
"As you can see, the private server of the Clinton clan contains docs and donors lists of the Democratic committees, PACs, etc. Does it surprise you?
"Here are some docs for example

Discussions on the Kaine-Pence debate

Patricia McCarthy: Kaine's and Pence's rumble  . . . "But his interruptions were the key to his failure.  When one cannot let the person with whom he is debating complete a sentence, it betrays fear and a lack of confidence in one's own position or cause.  Kaine lost the debate, hands down.  Not because everything he had to say was wrong, but because he was so afraid he might not get to utter every insult he had practiced.  It was pathetic." . . .
Kaine's debate prep, like Hillary's, was based on the firm belief that the American people are stupid.
J. Marsolo: Pence wins despite another 'Candy' debate moderator  "Elaine Quijano continued the Candy Crowley debate tradition of favoring the Democrat.  She constantly interrupted Mike Pence while he was attempting to answer questions but never interrupted Kaine to have him focus on what had been asked of him.  She failed to control the debate by allowing Kaine to constantly interrupt Pence." . . .

Hey, Timmie, you really showed us deplorables... . . . "If the best casting director in Hollywood went in search of the perfect actor to play a typical know-it-all, smug, smarmy liberal to represent the Democratic Party on the vice presidential debate stage Tuesday night, he could not possibly have made a better selection than Tim Kaine. " . . .

Katie Pavlich: Luntz Focus Group: Pence Destroyed Kaine During VP Debate   Frank Luntz
My focus group literally laughs with Mike Pence's attacks and laughs at Tim Kaine's.

VP Debate Debrief – Petulant Kaine Exudes Instability During Vice-Presidential Debate Appearance…  . .  . " And… if there’s one thing as certain as the sun rise in the east tomorrow, it’s the truism that when anything impedes Hillary Clinton’s mission to achieve the presidency they are immediately rebuked. Senator Tim Kaine better get a food taster."
"Remember, they simply repeat the road map they learned from Alinsky: “Isolate, Ridicule, Marginalize”.   To wit Kaine had one objective, focus on the “isolation” objective."
John Podhoretz: Mike Pence wiped the floor with Tim Kaine — but does it matter?  . . . "He seemed determined to bait Mike Pence, but his constant interruptions and preachy assertions that Pence couldn’t possibly defend his running mate succeeded only in making him look annoying and insubstantial." . . .
However... "All of this is about performance, though. When it came to substance, Pence was remarkably disingenuous and dishonest, and in a manner that did not do him credit." . . .

Byron York: Pence gives GOP a boost, but Dems pleased with Kaine attacks on Trump  "Even allowing for spin, Republican and Democratic insiders gathered here at Longwood University drew vastly different takeaways from the vice presidential debate between Mike Pence and Tim Kaine.

"Republicans said: Can you believe what a jerk Kaine was? He wouldn't let Pence say three words before interrupting him. Surely the audience hated that.
"Democrats said: Who cares whether anyone likes Tim Kaine? His job was to plant Donald Trump's greatest hits in the public brain: Miss Universe. Tax returns. Mexican rapists. PTSD. And that's what he did." . . .
Rich Lowry on The Pence Win . . . "1) It changes the media conversation after a terrible week for Trump in the aftermath of last Monday’s debate; 2) Perhaps it will reinforce for Trump–none too soon–the importance of preparation and discipline in a national debate."

Political Cartoons by Robert Ariail

"Please Tell Me These FBI/DOJ ‘Side Deals’ with Clinton E-Mail Suspects Didn’t Happen "

Andrew C. McCarthy
"The ‘side deals’ are further evidence of a highly politicized Obama Department of Justice."
"Just when you think it can’t get any worse . . .

"According to House Judiciary Committee chairman Bob Goodlatte (R., Va.), the immunity agreements struck by the Justice Department with Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson, two top subjects of the FBI’s Clinton e-mail investigation, included “side agreements.” Pursuant to these side agreements, it was stipulated that (a) the FBI would not scrutinize any documents dated after January 31, 2015 (i.e., about five weeks before the most disturbing actions suggestive of obstruction of justice occurred); and (b) the FBI — in an investigation critically involving destruction of documents — would destroy the computers after conducting its search." . . .

Rick Moran  "The Department of Justice is dropping charges against an arms dealer who says he can expose Hillary Clinton's role in illegally arming terrorists in Libya.
"American Marc Turi had been charged with selling weapons to Libyan rebels at a time when it was illegal to do so.  An associate of Turi claims that the DoJ was dropping the charges because the revelations about Clinton's Libya policies would sink her campaign.
. . .

"It won't be easy finding evidence against Clinton.  No doubt DoJ has buried it all.  But Turi makes a convincing case that the cover-up is ongoing.  The administration will apparently go to great lengths to hide the truth and save the Clinton candidacy." . . .

5 More Tidbits From Clinton Staffer’s Hacked Emails

Washington Free Beacon   One such: "Staffers Worked to Prevent Black Lives Matter From Protesting Michelle Obama Speech"

Michelle Obama

"The first lady’s staff circulated a CNN article about Black Lives Matter protesting Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel during the United States Conference of Mayors in Washington, D.C., in January. Staff members wanted to avoid the spectacle of protestors at Michelle Obama’s speech at the conference the next day.
“ 'I want to make sure you guys have a heads up on this so that we can ensure no protestors make their way into our event. :)” wrote Chynna Clayton, who works in the first lady’s office." . . .

Winners and losers from the vice-presidential debate

Kaine Pence Debate
Legal Insurrection
Washington Post  "Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine stood toe-to-toe for 90 minutes in the lone vice presidential debate of the 2016 election. I watched, tweeted and took some notes on the best and the worst of the night that was. There was a lot more bad than good." . . .
Excerpts below:

Winners

Mike Pence: From the very beginning, Pence was the more comfortable of the two men on the debate stage. Pence repeatedly turned to the camera when he answered questions, making clear he understood that the real audience wasn't in the room but watching on TV. The Indiana governor was calm, cool and collected throughout — a stark contrast to the fast-talking (and seemingly nervous) Kaine.
"* Orioles vs. Blue Jays:" . . .

Losers
Tim Kaine: Someone must have told the Virginia senator he needed to always be on his front foot in the debate, always be the aggressor. It didn't work. Kaine started the debate talking so quickly and trying to load so many Trump attacks into every answer that it made it virtually impossible to grasp any one attack. In the middle of the debate, Kaine seemed to relax into it — delivering an effective attack on Trump's comments on women. But that Kaine was the exception, not the rule. When he wasn't trying to stuff 10 pounds of attack in a five-pound bag in his answers, he was relentlessly interrupting Pence.  Every single time Pence started to level an attack against Hillary Clinton, Kaine immediately began to talk over him. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not, but it didn't come across well — at all. "
Elaine Quijano: I root for the moderators in these debates because they have a next-to-impossible job. But Quijano lost control of the debate within minutes of it starting and never really got it back. She seemed to dole out 20 seconds here and 30 seconds there for Pence or Kaine or both to respond to each other with no rhyme or reason. She never was able to get Kaine or Pence to, well, stop talking. Then there was the fact that she didn't seem to follow the flow of the debate; Kaine and Pence would be feuding about, say, tax returns, and Quijano, after getting the two men to stop talking, would say something like, "Let's talk about North Korea."
