Kenya on scene
"The US is glaringly absent in this worldwide fight for freedom. Obama is Kenyan, a native, so you might think ...... but his father (and stepfather) were Muslim; perhaps that is why he always comes down on the side of the jihad.
Here is where America should be leading from the front, the side, but somewhere. I am ashamed for my country.

Israeli forces have reportedly joined efforts to end a deadly siege by Somali militants at a Kenyan shopping mall, a security source told AFP Sunday.
“The Israelis have just entered and they are rescuing the hostages and the injured,” AFP quoted the source as saying on condition he not be named.

Wherever there is a public disturbance in the Muslim world, it seems, Christians wind up being killed.

Another Sunday Morning, More Christians Are Murdered.  "At least 75 Christians, including women and children, were killed by two suicide bombers as they were leaving church Sunday in Pakistan."
Still waiting to see demonstrations by Muslims angry over what is being done by other Muslims in the name of Islam.

Newsmax  "White House staffers have adopted a new and unflattering nickname for their boss: "Obam-me," Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan says she heard in chats with a few senators.

"And how did the staffers come up with that name?

" 'Because it's all about him and his big thoughts," Noonan writes in a column. "I guess the second-term team is not quite as adoring as the first.' "

The Decline of College

Victor Davis Hanson  "For the last 70 years, American higher education was assumed to be the pathway to upper-mobility and a rich shared-learning experience.
"The result was a more skilled workforce and a competent democratic citizenry. That ideal may still be true at our flagship universities, with their enormous endowments and stellar world rankings.
"Yet most elsewhere, something went terribly wrong with that model. Almost all the old campus protocols are now tragically outdated or antithetical to their original mission.
"Young Americans for four years took a common core of classes, learned to look at the world dispassionately, and gained the concrete knowledge to make informed arguments logically."...
