New York City Lets You Choose From 31 Different Gender Identities
. . . "The city does not provide definitions of the various gender identities, but TheDC was able to define several of them from glossaries provided online by the University of Wisconsin and the University of California Berkeley.
"Someone who identifies as “genderqueer,” for example, is a “person whose gender identity is neither man nor woman, is between or beyond genders, or is some combination of genders.” The list does go on. . .
. . .
"If someone is “pangender,” their “gender identity is comprised of all or many gender expressions.”
"The full list of gender identities can be viewed online in a document provided by the city’s Commission on Human Rights."

Dingler Cross memorial for fallen veterans back up after public outcry  "The 79 white, handmade crosses posted on public property along state Highway 92 in Hiram, Ga., were meant to represent the 79 Paulding County residents who died in America’s wars, according to town officials.
"But the crosses were abruptly taken down last Friday after someone called Hiram City Hall questioning whether the soldiers were all Christian."  Hat tip to Lucianne for several of these posts.

Bathroom Wars: Target boycott has directly cost company $9.2 billion in market cap to date

Sierra Rayne  "There is some confusion and denial in the mainstream media over the real impacts of the ongoing boycott of Target (TGT) because of its controversial bathroom policies allowing men into women's rooms and vice versa, which came into force April 19.
"The left-of-center Associated Press released a superficial report last week on the causes of Target's current financial situation:. . .
. . . "The likely impact of the consumer boycott against Target can be determined by comparing its market cap performance for equal periods before and after the transgender policy came into force against that of its competitors.  As the graph below shows, Target's normalized market cap has declined far more than any of its competitors since April 19."

Is this fight a silly cause?  . . . "As society “evolves,” there comes the call for an ever increasing suppression of moral laws, limits, and now restrictive identities.

"That is why the bathroom wars are so very important.  “Transgenderism” has nothing to do with “rights” and everything to do with changing the very concept of man.  If this battle isn’t important, why is the government (and the media) doing everything possible to force anti-moral bathroom diktats down the throats of Americans?  If this battle is of such little consequence, then why are the candidates doing everything possible to exclude these issues from the debate narrative?  The ruthless ferocity of the war only confirms that moral issues are powerful forces to be reckoned with inside society." . . .

FANTASY BASEBALL, BELTWAY STYLE

Ann Coulter  "In a campaign season with lots of surprises, how's this for a wild prediction? It would never happen, of course, but pull up a chair and indulge me.

"My premise is, President Obama hates Hillary Clinton and always has. Why?
(1) Because everyone hates Hillary; (2) Obama has special reasons for hating her based on the things she has done and said; (3) His senior adviser, Valerie Jarrett, also hates Hillary, so, if by some accident, Obama wakes up one day not hating Hillary, Jarrett is there to say, Oh yes you do! (4) Obama adores his vice president, Joe Biden; (5) He knows that Hillary can't beat Trump.

"Obama must be having withdrawal symptoms as his second term draws to a close. If he were Reagan, he'd just want to go home and chop wood. But he's not Reagan. The most powerful man in the universe is about to become just some schmuck in an airport. And he's got Valerie Jarrett chirping in his ear, You need to protect your legacy!

"Who more perfectly encapsulates white privilege than Hillary Clinton? Hers was a charmed political life. She rose to political power in the draft of her husband, was given infinite breaks, then ruthlessly fought Obama for the nomination, long after it was clear she was not the Democrats' choice in 2008.

"Obama resented her campaign and resented Bill Clinton's not-so-coded racism. " . . .

Obamas lease $4.3 million home in tony DC neighborhood - with nine bedrooms, an exercise room, and even a butler's pantry . . .

Distinguished address: The home in Kalorama puts the Obamas in one of the capital's most upscale neighborhoods

"President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama have leased a spectacular 8,200 square-foot home in one of DC's most elegant neighborhoods as their first post-White House dwelling.

"The $4.3 million home features plenty of room for the Obamas to stretch out – with separate dressing rooms and his and her bathrooms, entertaining space, and a tranquil garden.

"The home was built in 1928 and features nine bedrooms and eight and a half baths, according to Politico, which first reported the address.

"The Obama's area leasing the house from Joe Lockhart, who served as press secretary to Bill Clinton.

. . .
"The Obamas have made the unusual decision to stay in the capital because they do not want to interrupt their younger daughter Sasha’s time at high school.

"The 14-year-old is a student at Sidwell Friends School, where fees are $39,360 a year. Her elder sister will be in the middle of a year off when they leave the White House. She is then going to study at Harvard.

"Obama said earlier this year: 'Transferring someone in the middle of high school - tough.' " Videos
