Why the White House Approval Numbers Aren’t Lower

A Hollywood Republican  "Many rightfully question why the approval numbers for the current White House occupant, hereafter referred to as Occupy Oval Office, are not lower.  How could such a proven incompetent’s numbers remain higher than the low thirties?
The answer is simple if you know how to read the tea leaves.  Submitted for your review are some important facts:"

Dave Barry: A slimy year without an oil spill

Tampa Bay online:  "As the year wore on, frustration finally boiled over in the form of the Occupy Various Random Spaces movement, wherein people who were sick and tired of a lot of stuff finally got off their butts and started working for meaningful change via direct action in the form of sitting around and forming multiple committees and drumming and not directly issuing any specific demands but definitely having a lot of strongly held views for and against a wide variety of things. Incredibly, even this did not bring about meaningful change. The economy remained wretched, especially unemployment, which got so bad that many Americans gave up even trying to work. Congress, for example.

Were there any positive developments in 2011? Yes:
  • Osama bin Laden, Moammar Gadhafi and the New York Yankees all suffered major setbacks.
  • Kim Kardashian finally found her lifetime soulmate for nearly two and a half months.
  • Despite a prophecy by revered Christian radio lunatic Harold Camping, the world did not end on May 21.
"Come to think of it, that last development wasn't totally positive, not when we consider all the other things that happened in 2011. In case you've blotted it out, let's take one last look back, through squinted eyelids, at this train-wreck of a year, starting with ..."  Read on....

Happy New Year, Israel! Muslim Brotherhood Plans to Cancel Israel Peace Pact

Gateway Pundit

“People will express their opinions on it. All parties can reconsider the treaty and Egyptians haven’t yet had their say,” he explained. “We won’t violate the treaty. We can put it for referendum among people or parliament,” Bayoumi said.
The ploy would ostensibly take the onus off the radical Muslim party, which Jeffrey Feltman, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, has said will respect the treaty.
However, Bayoumi’s statements to Al Hayat made it clear that the Brotherhood has no intention of recognizing Israel.    (Emphasis added)
Two weeks ago President Barack Obama told a Jewish group that his administration has done more than any other in support of Israel’s security.
Haaretz.com  has this: " "We weren't party to the peace treaty, it was signed away from the Egyptian people and thus the people must have its say," the Muslim Brotherhood official said.

Referring to the issue of recognizing Israel, al-Bayoumi said that the Muslim Brotherhood was not required to recognize Egypt's neighbor to the north, saying that Israel was an "occupying entity and we will not allow anyone of our members to meet with an Israeli."
From The Patriots Flag
" "I won't allow myself to meet with a criminal and there's no chance that we'll cooperate with Israel," the Egyptian official said."
The Muslim Brotherhood flag meaning:  The flag or the logo of the Muslim Brotherhood is made up of the sign of the Koran at its summit, two bended rapiers which cross in the middle, as well as the first world of the Koran placed at the very top, and on the very bottom their insignia.

Media Abet Obama's Aloofness on Tough Issues

Real Clear Politics   "Over the past five months, the Republican presidential candidates participated in 13 debates where they fielded dozens of penetrating questions on every major issue facing the nation, and some not so major."....                    The View ladies discuss Obama in 2008

"Yet, during all that time, the man they hope to defeat next November has rarely been asked by news reporters about many of these issues. Since August, President Obama has held only one formal White House news conference. That came on Oct. 6, nearly three months ago. It lasted 74 minutes, shorter than any single Republican debate, and the president was asked 17 questions, most of them softballs on the economy and his latest legislative proposals to create jobs.

"No questions on immigration, no questions on Iran or Iraq or Afghanistan or Israel or North Korea -- global trouble spots the GOP candidates have been queried about repeatedly. Moreover, he was not asked about what spending cuts he would make to reduce the deficit, nothing about Medicare and Social Security reform or his health care law, all familiar questions for the Republicans seeking his job."
