When today's Democrats rule our nation
Just this week, Biden proposed a “student loan forgiveness” plan that would stick American taxpayers with $1.6 trillion in new debt — a massive tax hike in itself that will force middle-class taxpayers to foot the bill for wealthy parents’ kids to go to college.
Ignorance And Apathy (townhall.com)
Numerous other examples could be mentioned, including the media's propensity to use words like "hard right" and "extreme" when they mention conservatives, but often decline to attach the word "liberal" or "hard left" to people whose policies and views fit that description.
. . ."People applying for a driver's license must take a written test to prove that they know the rules of the road. Those seeking U.S. citizenship must prove they speak English and have a basic knowledge of civics, the Constitution, and a familiarity with U.S. history. To earn a degree, students must pass written tests and for advanced degrees make a verbal defense of their thesis. Only when it comes to voting can someone cast a ballot with no knowledge, or incorrect knowledge, about the candidates and issues."
Suddenly our Constitution is a lamb in the jungle with Democrat predators
The Five Freedoms of the First Amendment | Religious Freedom Center of the Freedom Forum Institute
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. – The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
The comical buffoonery of Biden’s new disinformation czarina; Thomas Lifson "I confess to alternating between fear and scornful laughter when it comes to the newly announced that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced April 27 in a Senate hearing. The blatant violation of the First Amendment, the lack of Congressional authorization, the blatant choice of topics of focus (immigration and Russia in Spanish Language media) right before an election and the utter ridiculousness of the woman named to head, it all [will] make it hard for me to take this Orwellian state organ seriously.". . .
Remember George Orwell's Ministry of Truth? Orwell, meet Disinformation Governance Board‘ (lawenforcementtoday.com)
This seems to be a stepping up of attempts by the Biden administration to stomp on speech they disagree with, which they continually refer to as “misinformation” or “disinformation.” Up until now, the administration worked hand-in-hand with the media and tech platforms to implement a quasi-ministry of truth. Now they have actually created such a board.
Should we be alarmed by Biden’s new Disinformation Governance Board? - American Thinker . . ."It was also announced that Nina Jankowicz will head the Department of Homeland Security's Disinformation Governance Board as executive director.
"The expectation usually is that such a department would be headed by an individual with a consistent track record of being factual and a proclivity of spotting false information.
"But since it is the Biden administration, you must expect the contrary of what is required.
"Jankowicz is a fellow at the Wilson Center where she studied the 'intersection of democracy and technology in Central and Eastern Europe.' She also wrote books such as “How To Lose the Information War: Russia, Fake News, and the Future of Conflict” and “How to Be a Woman Online.”
"Obviously, there is a pattern here that her recruiters in the Biden administration liked.
"The Oxford Dictionary defines disinformation as “a form of propaganda involving the dissemination of false information with the deliberate intent to deceive or mislead.”
So how has Jankowicz’s record been on combating disinformation?
"When stories about Hunter Biden's infamous laptop broke, Jankowicz was among those attempting to dismiss it as disinformation.
"She repeated the false claim that former intelligence experts had branded it likely "Russian disinformation."
"When she almost conceded that the emails on the laptop could be real, she claimed it was part of “part of an influence campaign.”
Creepy-Sounding 'Disinformation Board' Faces Heavy Criticism; Elon Musk Calls it 'Discomforting' – RedState "[Nina Jankowicz] certainly doesn’t sound like she’s a friend of free speech. Before Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter she said in an interview:
I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms, what that would look like for the marginalized communities
Joy Reid’s Ratings Tank as Rumors Swirl That Her MSNBC Days Are Numbered

Joy Reid’s Ratings Tank as Rumors Swirl That Her MSNBC Days Are Numbered (legalinsurrection.com). . ."News Cycle Media’s Nicosia also noted that “things like this and the lawsuits about to be filed will be part of Comcast’s reasoning,” with the “this” being the fact that Reid’s ratings, which saw a post-Trump decline just like CNN did, have tanked big time on several fronts:
MSNBC host Joy Reid’s “ReidOut” finished April with its smallest monthly audience in the far-left program’s nearly two-year history.
“ReidOut” averaged 1.1 million viewers during the news-heavy month, a 31% decline from April of last year. She also shed 11% of viewers who tuned in last month and a staggering 51% compared to the show’s debut month of July 2020.
“ReidOut” has also lost 57% of her total audience among the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54 since the program launched in July 2020, finishing April with a dismal demo average of only 124,000 viewers. “ReidOut” viewership during April was MSNBC’s least-watched month during the weeknight 7 p.m. hour among the critical demo since July 2015.
During April, every single Fox News Channel weekday program – including “FOX & Friends First” which airs from 4-6 a.m. ET – outdrew “The ReidOut.”
"During her time at MSNBC, Reid emerged as one of the most toxic voices at any “big three” cable news outlets. We’ve documented many instances of her toxicity and racial arsonist tendencies here, including her bizarre suggestion that conservatives look for ways to drink COVID “in a Kool-Aid cup,” and repeatedly referring to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and other black conservatives as some version of an “Uncle Tom” – something the guests she brings on have also done.
"Perhaps most infamously, Reid came under fire in late 2017/early 2018 when she claimed she was “hacked” after posts from her old blog were dug up and found to contain what LGBTQ rights activists said were “bigoted” and “homophobic” remarks.
"MSNBC stood by her at the time, but if reports of her days being numbered at the network are accurate, obviously, things have changed.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Leaves Jim Acosta Stammering After He Confronts Her With a False Narrative
Marjorie Taylor Greene Leaves Jim Acosta Stammering After He Confronts Her With a False Narrative – RedState "While most Americans are worried about relevant problems like inflation and the border crisis, CNN remains laser-focused on the all-important issue of January 6th. That led to Jim Acosta, who made his name by being a dramatic hack during the Trump years, attempting to confront Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene over a text message she supposedly sent relating to martial law following the 2020 election.
"What followed was one of the better takedowns I’ve seen this year, with Greene taking apart Acosta’s narrative, making him actually read the text message in question (which he’s been misrepresenting), and leaving the CNN host stammering about how she’s “defensive.”
"This is worth the three minutes. Watch it all." Video here.
America Reclaiming the Narrative From the Media: Part 2 - The Narrative Failures Continue – RedState
. . ."All the while the media outlets owned by billionaires tried to tell us a billionaire buying into the media sphere was dangerous. Journalists tried to sell us on the idea that free expression – for us – was a threat. Now all of that could be explained away as a failure to halt the passions of a rebel billionaire. Surely, though, they managed to sway public opinion, and people will flee the social platform as he takes over.". . .
