Egypt Is Collapsing Thanks To Obama Foreign Policy   "The democratic "New Beginning" President Obama announced in Cairo in 2009 becomes a new, bold Egyptian tyranny. An imperfect ally was swept away by what has generated into an Islamist perfect storm.
"Apparently confident that an eloquent mea culpa would prompt an abundant supply of Islamic goodwill, Barack Obama in his first year as president appeared at Cairo University before an audience that included leaders of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood and gave a speech meant to shake the world.
"He apologized for the "overthrow of a democratically elected Iranian government" during the Cold War and sought "a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world" based on "common principles — principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings."

More introspection: Learning from the Election

Victor Davis Hanson   "A final take on the election: Mitt Romney was a glittering Sir Galahad who, given his impressive horse, armor, and lance, along with his decency and piety, assumed that he could win a joust in a fair charge against the other team’s knight. Instead he waded into a sudden fray where he was swarmed, mobbed, cut off, pulled off his magnificent steed, had his matchless armor yanked away by a mob of foot soldiers, and then, once stripped clean, was clubbed and maced beyond recognition."

America passed up an excellent man for a mediocre political hack once again.

To Jail a Mockingbird

American Thinker   "ABC News published an AP story Wednesday with the headline "Ohio Man Gets Jail for Mocking Disabled Girl." Then it ran an expanded version of the story with the similar headline "Man Sentenced to Jail After Mocking Disabled Girl."
"No doubt the initial reaction by most readers was "What a cruel, ignorant buffoon." And earlier, there reportedly was an outcry for legal action after the girl's mother posted a video of the incident on Facebook and YouTube. But the story also raises the question: if mockery is a crime, then why is sarcastic entertainer Bill Maher not on death row?"

Glenn Reynolds writes at Instapundit:
"It is symptomatic of the national condition of the United States that the worst humiliation ever suffered by it as a nation, and by a US president personally, passed almost without comment last week. I refer to the November 20 announcement at a summit meeting in Phnom Penh that 15 Asian nations, comprising half the world’s population, would form a Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership excluding the United States.
"President Barack Obama attended the summit to sell a US-based Trans-Pacific Partnership excluding China. He didn’t. The American led-partnership became a party to which no-one came.
"Instead, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, plus China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, will form a club and leave out the United States.

I’m not sure Barack minds this diminution in U.S. power and prestige.

Asia Times; Post-US world born in Phnom Penh
"It is hard to fathom just what President Obama had in mind when he arrived in Asia bearing a Trans-Pacific Partnership designed to keep China out. What does the United States have to offer Asians?

"It is borrowing $600 billion a year from the rest of the world to finance a $1.2 trillion government debt, most prominently from Japan (China has been a net seller of Treasury securities during the past year).
"It is a taker of capital rather than a provider of capital.
"It is a major import market but rapidly diminishing in relative importance as intra-Asian trade expands far more rapidly than trade with the United States.
"And America's strength as an innovator and incubator of entrepreneurs has diminished drastically since the 2008 crisis, no thanks to the Obama administration, which imposed a steep task on start-up businesses in the form of its healthcare program. "

Isn't this what Rev. Wright, Bill Ayres Bernie Sanders, Maxine Waters, et. al. wanted for the United States?  We deserve the kind of government we got. My regret is that those who voted for this leftist regime are generally too ill-informed to comprehend the damage taking place before their very eyes.

Lesson for Warren Buffett: British Millionaires’ Response to Tax Increases

Heritage  "As the fiscal cliff approaches, Congress and President Obama continue to debate tax increases, even though spending is the problem. Investor Warren Buffett recently opined that tax hikes on the wealthy would not curtail investments or hurt the economy. His logic, like President Obama’s, assumes that incentives don’t matter.
"Oh really? News that Great Britain saw its number of millionaires decline by two-thirds due to a steep top tax rate tells a different story.
"The year after former Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown introduced a 50 percent top income tax rate, the number of people filing as millionaires dropped 63 percent, from 16,000 to 6,000. Tax revenue also declined by nearly £7 billion.
"No single reason explains the drop. Some millionaires probably earned less money due to the slow-growing European economy, or they may have simply worked less. Others may have shifted the timing of their income or moved it to less-taxed forms. Still others might have physically left the country.
"Here’s the bottom line: All these reasons are economically important and show that incentives matter."....

So what should be done, given the fiscal problems? Heritage offers these solution, if only Obama can get over his visceral dislike for business and the rich and his desire to wreak revenge on them: 6 Fixes to America’s Fiscal Crisis
"President Obama made his first offer to congressional Republicans yesterday in negotiations over the “fiscal cliff”—an economic catastrophe of tax hikes just a few weeks away.
"The White House’s proposal? $1.6 trillion in tax increases, $50 billion in new stimulus spending, and a change that would make it easier to raise the debt limit—so that all this spending could continue.
"Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) couldn’t contain his laughter at these suggestions.
"One congressional aide said the offer “amounts to little more than reiterating the President’s budget request—which failed to get a single vote in the House or Senate.” "

Bill and the hoodie

Washington Times  "Two decades have passed since nightclub entertainer and blond bombshell Gennifer Flowers stepped before cameras and announced she had a 12-year affair with then-Gov. Bill Clinton, joining a roster of attractive women who reported similar dalliances, wanted and unwanted. Miss Flowers has stepped forward once again to reveal that in 2005, Mr. Clinton offered to come visit her once again.
"“I picked up the telephone, and it was him. I said, ‘No, you can’t come over here. No way.’ I said ‘No, you can’t come to my house.’ He said, ‘I’ll put on a hoodie and jog up there.’ He used to do that. I said ‘No. No. And I want you to leave me alone.’ And that was the end of it,” said Miss Flowers, now 62, as she sipped wine and laughed languidly through an interview with WGNO, an ABC affiliate in New Orleans."

If this nation goes over the fiscal cliff, Obama will be sunning himself in Hawaii

Rick Moran  "The Hawaii Reporter says the 20 day trip will cost taxpayers $4 million.
"But that's a small price to pay for our Dear Leader's comfort."
Keith Koffler:
President Obama is reportedly scheduled to be vacationing in Hawaii on January 2, the date billions in spending cuts - and untold consequences for the economy - will kick in if a deal is not reached on the "fiscal cliff."
According to the Hawaii Reporter, residents who live in the area of Oahu where Obama and his family vacation have been told that the usual restrictions on their movements during an Obama stay will be in place for 21 days, from December 17 through January 6.

Stick with me on this: The Case for Palestinian Independence

This may be the last guy to put this idea forth with a straight face.
Jewish World Review  "Israel's case against a UN-sanctioned Palestinian independence isn't wrong. The initiative all but scuttles the Oslo peace process and, newly reinforced by a Muslim Brotherhood-dominated Egypt, very likely scuttles Camp David as well. It is not a two-state, but a one-state solution the Palestinians have in their sights.

"Doubters need only listen to Palestinian Authority (PLO) President Mahmoud Abbas at the UN last fall: "They talk to us about the Jewish state, but I respond to them with a final answer: We shall not recognize a Jewish state."
"Responding to Abbas, senior Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh (who rejects the UN process) doubled down: "[We] do not beg for a state. States are not built on UN resolutions. States liberate their land and establish their entities." "

" “I continue to be troubled by the fact that the United Nations ambassador decided to play what was essentially a political role at the height of a contentious presidential election campaign,” Ms. Collins told a throng of reporters after the meeting concluded."

Bush, etc.) wins re-election, but then his presidency implodes over the next four years — mired in scandals or disasters such as Watergate, Iran-Contra, Monica Lewinsky, the Iraqi insurgency and Hurricane Katrina."
...."Coincidentally, right after the election we heard that Iran had attacked a US drone in international waters.
"Coincidentally, we just learned that new food stamp numbers were "delayed" and that millions more became new recipients in the months before the election.
"Coincidentally, we now gather that the federal relief effort following Hurricane Sandy was not so smooth, even as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Barack Obama high-fived it. Instead, in Katrina-like fashion, tens of thousands are still without power or shelter two weeks after the storm.
"Coincidentally, we now learn that Obama's plan of letting tax rates increase for the "fat cat" 2 percent who make over $250,000 a year would not even add enough new revenue to cover 10 percent of the annual deficit. How he would get the other 90 percent in cuts, we are never told.

The Best- and Worst-Run States in America

Yahoo Finance   "To determine how well the states are run, 24/7 Wall St. reviewed hundreds of data sets from dozens of sources. We looked at each state’s debt, revenue, expenditure and deficit to determine how well it is managed fiscally. We reviewed taxes, exports, and GDP growth, including a breakdown by sector, to identify how each state is managing its resources. We looked at poverty, income, unemployment, high school graduation, violent crime and foreclosure rates to measure if residents are prospering.

"The best-run states have certain characteristics in common, as do the worst run. The high-ranking states all have well-managed budgets. Each of the top ten has a perfect, or near-perfect, credit rating from Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s, or both. Of the ten worst-ranked, only three received top scores from one agency, and none from both. California is currently the only state rated A- by S&P, the lowest score given to any state. These poor-ranked states have high debt relative to both income and expenditure.
"There is a strong correlation between well-educated populations and generally well-managed states. Of the ten best-scoring states on our list, nine have among the highest percentages of adults with high school diplomas."

Number one among the best-run states:  1. North Dakota  "For the first time, North Dakota ranks as the best run state in the country. In recent years, North Dakota’s oil boom has transformed its economy. Last year, crude oil production rose 35%. As of August, 2012, it was the second-largest oil producer in the country. This was due to the use of hydraulic fracturing* in the state’s Bakken shale formation. The oil and gas boom brought jobs to North Dakota, which had the nation’s lowest unemployment rate in 2011 at 3.5%, and economic growth."   *Fracking

And coming in at number 50 is...wait for it... California
"California is 24/7 Wall St.’s “Worst Run State” for the second year in a row. Due to high levels of debt, the state’s S&P credit rating is the worst of all states, while its Moody’s credit rating is the second-worst. Much of California’s fiscal woes involve the economic downturn. Home prices plunged by 33.6% between 2006 and 2011, worse than all states except for three. The state’s foreclosure rate and unemployment rate were the third- and second-highest in the country, respectively. But efforts to get finances on track are moving forward. State voters passed a ballot initiative to raise sales taxes as well as income taxes for people who make at least $250,000 a year. While median income is the 10th-highest in the country, the state also has one of the highest tax burdens on income. According to the Tax Foundation, the state also has the third-worst business tax climate in the country.

Time's "Person of the Year"

Neal Boortz  "So now we’re starting to get speculation as to who the Time Magazine “Person of the Year” is going to be. Believe it or not, but our society and our country have declined to the point that some people are suggesting Sandra Fluke. Yeah .. that’s right. A rather ordinary woman who needs $3000 a year worth of condoms as the Person of the Year? Sure! Works for me!

"My suggestion? Nobody has had a greater influence – and not for good – on this country and, therefore, on the world than the moocher; the parasite who believes that they’re owed pretty much everything by government. The reelection of this hack president of ours was a turning point – a turning point leading to an accelerated decline of freedom and liberty in America. This was all made possible by the moocher and the moocher vote. There, Time Magazine, is your “Person of the Year.” "

North Carolina Students Told They Can’t Sell “Christmas Trees” For Charity, Must Be Called “Holiday Trees”…

Weasel Zippers, which refers to this story as "mind-numbing". What on earth is happening in this country anyway when we must - MUST - honor Muslim holidays, but dare not speak the 'C' word? This nation gets less free as time goes on.
This report from Fox News Radio
A North Carolina community college has been accused of violating the First Amendment rights of students after they told a club they could not use the word “Christmas” to promote a Christmas tree sale.
“It’s ridiculous that anyone would have to think twice about using the word ‘Christmas’ as part of a Christmas tree sale,” said Matt Sharp, an attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom.
ADF sent a letter to officials at Western Piedmont Community College urging them to either reconsider their decision to censor the word “Christmas” – or else face a possible lawsuit.
College officials did not return multiple phone calls and email messages seeking comment.
The student club, called the BEST Society, was planning to sell the Christmas trees to raise money for Angel Tree, an organization that provides Christmas presents to children.
Club members followed college protocol and submitted forms to promote the sale. The proposed text read, “The BEST Society will be selling Christmas Trees…”
But when the announcement appeared on the college’s website and in other venues – it had been altered. Ever reference to “Christmas Trees” had been replaced with “holiday trees.”
American Thinker carried this back in 2009: It's that Silly, Politically Correct Holiday Season
"It happens every year at this time: the battles of political correctness. When a community puts up a Christmas tree, one of two things happens. Either there is a battle to take it down totally, or someone fights to get a Chanukkiyah (that's the real name, not Menorah), Kwanzaa candles, or a symbol of some other religion's holiday placed right next to it. Then Fox News follows by running stories about the latest battle in the "war against Christmas," and the ACLU starts suing any town whose mayor ever went to a church, mosque, and/or synagogue. Hey, ACLU: Give it up. America is a Christian country."

NLRB ... Obama's "Thank You" Weapon

Neal Boortz  "Just last week I warned you that the Obama administration will be using his (illegally appointed) National Labor Relations Board in order to thank the unions for their work in getting him re-elected. I told you about one promise already coming down the pipeline which is to allow unions to access personal employee information including email addresses, phone numbers and work schedules of employees. This, of course, helps union goons access and intimidate workers into supporting or joining a union.

U.S. Soldier’s Letter Starkly Details Nazi’s Actions Toward Jews, Others

Debbie Schlussel
That was then...
...."And I recently saw this letter, listed by a seller who often sells the old letters of U.S. soldiers who served in the Civil War, World Wars I & II, Korea, and Vietnam. The letter, by U.S. Army Sgt. Charles Duvall to his wife back home, is chilling in its details of what he saw when they liberated a Nazi concentration camp, the inmates of which were Jews. "
This is now...

...."I’m sure the Holocaust-deniers will claim the letter–and hundreds of thousands of others like it, many of which are lost to history and long ago sent to trash bins–are fakes or forgeries, their usual dismissal of the evidence. But we know they are not. We know this is real.

"I wonder, if 70 years from now, we will come upon letters from soldiers who saw the atrocities of our current, more resistant strain of Nazis: Muslims who are fomenting conflict and perpetrating terrorism around the world."

Peaceful Coexistence with Radical Islamists is Impossible

American Thinker  "Arafat also said, "Peace for us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all-out war, a war which will last for generations. Since January 1965, when Fatah was born, we have become the most dangerous enemy that Israel has....We shall not rest until the day when we return to our home, and until we destroy Israel." (El Mundo, Caracas, Venezuela, February 11, 1980)....

Do they make these bumper stickers in Arabic?

"Applying the same substitutions to this quote lends additional credence to the hypothesis that Arafat is the originator of the global Islamist movement's strategy. Whatever the case may be, though, this much is certain: peaceful coexistence with radical Islamists is impossible. Based on all of the available evidence, any other conclusion is a manic delusion."

Obama's Soviet Mistake/ Obama elected by an illiterate society

Pravda  "Putin in 2009 outlined his strategy for economic success. Alas, poor Obama did the opposite but nevertheless was re-elected. Bye, bye Miss American Pie. The Communists have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the Soviet mistake."
Here Pravda makes a point which I can agree with except for their old Soviet outlook- that Obama is a warmonger. I do not think Obama is capable of standing firmly against aggressors who may make him pay a price for it.
"Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he fires or demotes his generals who get in the way."

Why President Barack Obama should not visit Russia.

American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research  "Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced last week that President Vladimir Putin had called to congratulate Barack Obama on his reelection and claimed that the American president accepted an invitation from Putin to come to Russia. Obama's plans, which have not yet been publicly announced, seem truly puzzling.

"In the past 12 months, Putin's foreign and domestic policies have been nothing but a brazen, in-your-face challenge to U.S. interests and values. Russia has sided with Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria as it slaughtered tens of thousands of its own citizens, casting three vetoes in the U.N. Security Council to shield Damascus from international sanctions. Moreover, it has signaled the end of its already limited and caveat-ridden support for international efforts to contain a nuclear-bound Iran."
From the Moscow Times; The Reason Russian-Americans Dislike Obama  "Most of my Moscow friends who took an interest in the U.S. election and knew the difference between the candidates fell into the same category. This wasn't because they feared that Republican candidate Mitt Romney would make good on his promises to stand up to Russia. On the contrary, few among Russia's intelligentsia support President Vladimir Putin, and they probably wouldn't mind if the West took a tougher stance against Russia's current leadership."

Why did so many people get the answer wrong? There are many reasons but the main one is that the Democrats and their allies in the media have spent the last four years beating a drum on a daily basis calling Republicans racists. More...

Ceasefire another royal opportunity handed to Hamas by Israel's "friends".

WND; Today's Scripture reading from 2 Samuel 7:24;
For You have made Your people Israel Your very own people forever; and You, LORD, have become their God.
'Son of Hamas' Says Israel Made a Mistake with Ceasefire  "Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of the founders of the Hamas terrorist organization and author of the book “Son of Hamas,” said on Friday that Israel made a mistake by agreeing to a ceasefire with Gaza’s terrorist rulers. "Yousef has spent a number of years abroad following a decade in which he risked his life working undercover as an agent for the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet). His code name during that time was 'The Green Prince.' "
...."Speaking about the possibility that Israel would have to work towards toppling the Hamas regime in Gaza, the former Shin Bet agent said, "This is necessary, but we have to work very hard for it. This is necessary not only for Israel - but for the benefit of humanity. Hamas was born to destroy. It cannot build.”
" "I have trouble believing that Hamas will be able to one day build a modern state,” said Yousef. “I hope their lies will be exposed to the Palestinian public." "
This and the following cartoon from the Jerusalem Post
Atlas Shrugs; Hamas victory: Hudna windfall, weapons smuggling bonanza   "Under Islam, a hudna is a temporary ceasefire to regroup and rearm, and that is exactly what Hamas is doing. Why would civilized men reward the targeting of innocent civilians? Hamas initiated the use of force, and they should pay, dearly. The people of Gaza elected these barbarians; they must pay the price of their government, just as we pay for the sins of ours. And if the people of Gaza support Hamas (as many of them do), they deserve what the government of Hamas deserves.

"The hudna calls on Israel to stop all attacks on Gaza, including targeting of individuals (mass murderers and such). It also requires “all Palestinian factions” to stop all hostilities against Israel from Gaza, including rocket fire and attacks along the border. But it won’t stop “splinter” groups that merely rename themselves overnight in order to continue the campaign of Islamic terror. Israel is going to relax border restrictions with Gaza, which means that weapons smuggling will step up in intensity.
"Obama praised Netanyahu for accepting the ceasefire proposal that had been advanced by Morsi, thereby adding to Morsi’s stature even as he assumed dictatorial powers in Egypt. It was no accident that after Obama propped him up as his partner in negotiating the Hamas hudna, Morsi issued a decree banning challenges to his rulings."....

"Of course, the administration could, and it did, picking and even colluding with the Muslim Brotherhood. And one of its hard-liners, Mohammed Morsi, now sits in the presidential palace, where he refused to shake unveiled Clinton’s hand.
"This administration favored Islamists over secularists and helped them overthrow Hosni Mubarak, the reliable U.S. ally who had outlawed the terrorist Brotherhood and honored the peace pact with Israel for three decades. The Brotherhood, in contrast, has backed Hamas and called for the destruction of Israel."
Do ALL of Obama's people like to say,"let me be clear"?

Flashback: The View Lefty Joy Behar Thinks Term “Black Friday” Might Be A “Little Racist”…

Speaking Truth to Hamas

Andrew G. Bostom  "The remarkably courageous Ramallah-born Mosab Hassan Yousef, the eldest son of Hamas cofounder Sheikh Hassan Yousef and a former Hamas activist himself, served time on several occasions in Israeli prison. Yousef is also known as "the Green Prince," the code name assigned him by the Shin Bet (Israeli security agency), with whom he later collaborated for a decade to thwart numerous terrorist attacks during the second intifada, sparing hundreds of Israeli lives. "
What If Iran Had Had Nukes?  "Imagine this past week with a nuclear-armed Iran watching from the wings. "
"Israel — as its friends and enemies never forget — is a “one-bomb country.” One nuclear weapon is all it would take to wipe out a nation whose territory is smaller than Djibouti, with a population not as large as that of Burundi — fewer than 8 million people, 20 percent of them Arabs who are enjoying rights denied to Arabs (not to mention non-Arab minorities) elsewhere in the Middle East.
"Israel is surrounded by Muslim-majority states with 60 times its population and 650 times its territory. Most of those states refuse even to recognize Israel. Some go further. Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, threatens genocide: “Israel must be burned to the ground and made to disappear from the face of the Earth.” "
American liberals support and defend people like these against an Israel that wants only to live in peace:

Liberals: Time To Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

CDN  "The additional cost of providing ObamaCare has gone political, particularly for Papa John’s Pizza. Erin Haust and Matt Vespa and Chris Vaca have written very good CDN articles explaining why the Papa John’s dust up is important to America’s freedom. In another article, Chris Vaca says, “I bring this up because once again they show themselves for what they truly are, hypocrites.” [emphasis mine] While Chris’ article was primarily about information, his observations fit so well that I just had to use it.

"Where are the liberals when it comes time to actually PAY for ObamaCare? This Salon article says that ObamaCare costs will add 10¢ to 14¢ to the cost of each pizza, or from 0.4 percent to 0.7 percent. Forbes’ Caleb Melby points out “that [John] Schnatter’s underlying logic doesn’t make sense when you look at the numbers.” There’s plenty of cost increase analysis, but no offers to pay for the, according to Melby’s analysis, inexpensive ObamaCare costs."....

McCarthy and Krauthammer on Gaza

;  Why was there war in Gaza?
"In effect, Israel had created the first Palestinian state ever, something never granted by fellow Muslims — neither the Ottoman Turks nor the Egyptians who brutally occupied Gaza for two decades before being driven out by Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War.
"Israel wanted nothing more than to live in peace with this independent Palestinian entity. After all, the world had incessantly demanded that Israel give up land for peace.
"It gave the land. It got no peace."

Andrew C. McCarthy; We’re already seeing the wages of November 6.
"The day of reckoning is here.
"For over 30 years, the United States government and the institutions that drive public opinion have made like Susan Rice when it comes to the ideological threat that Islamic supremacists pose to freedom, fabricating reasons to remain in denial. Thus inured, the American people have elected, and now reelected, a president notoriously fond of America-bashing Islamists. The attraction would not be hard to understand if we were not so ideology-averse — GOP strategists having made Obama’s radicalism a subject nearly as off-limits as Islamic supremacism, helpfully leaving the Left to fill the canvas with their portrait of Mitt Romney: “Where Gordon Gekko Meets Michael Vick.”
"The president is a movement leftist who sees in our society a condemnable legacy of racism, imperialism, and economic exploitation that cries out for “fundamental change.” That is not meaningfully different from the Islamist perspective of America."

Fracking industry keeps eye on Obama; EPA report could doom future

World Net Daily brings us this article from the Washington Times:  "The drilling process that has brought U.S. energy independence within reach faces renewed scrutiny from the Obama administration and an uncertain future in many states.
"Oil and gas industry leaders remain enthusiastic yet cautious that hydraulic fracturing, commonly known as “fracking,” will be fully embraced by the newly re-elected President Obama and state leaders.
"Fracking is a controversial but highly successful practice that has unlocked massive amounts of fuel. Endorsements from Mr. Obama and state leaders would make fracking the cornerstone of U.S. energy policy for decades to come.
"Industry leaders won’t have to wait long for their first clue to what the future holds."

HuffPost omits Hamas celebrating, justifying bus bombing from source AP story; more

Huff Watch
•...newspapers and blogs that use AP as primary source published top-line stories of Tel Aviv bus bombing that included the Hamas official's praise and justification of this terror act.
•HuffPost's version of the AP story, however, which it did not make a headline, omitted the Hamas official's praise and justification, and falsely claimed Hamas had made no official statement about the incident.
•These are not isolated incidents or "accidents," but rather, are part of HuffPost's continuous pattern of protecting Hamas and effectively doing its PR --- while giving top-line, enduring coverage to stories containing inflammatory accusations against Israel and Jews that it knows (or should know) are untrue.
Very interesting and enlightening with numerous revealing screen shots.

Reasons for Conservatives to Be Thankful

Heritage  "There are plenty of things to be thankful for this week, and this year as well.
"Yes, after our country’s recent elections, big government remains the rule here in the United States and throughout the West. Yet the language used by the candidates (both talked of reducing federal spending and creating jobs, for example) and the closeness of the race proved that, in the U.S. at least, conservatism remains a powerful force.
"Conservative thinkers present a compelling, principled alternative to liberal ideas. Right-leaning politicians retained control of the House of Representatives, where they’ll control all spending bills and be able to push back against the expansion of government. Conservative governors will run 30 states and can use their offices to thwart federal overreach. Many governors, for example, have already announced they won’t set up Obamacare insurance exchanges, which will save the states money and may doom the entire federal power grab."
Being Thankful for Families  "Marriage is the single greatest protection against child poverty. Overall, children in married-parent families are more than 80 percent less likely to be poor. Marriage’s shield against poverty holds similar protection across education levels: ...."

REPORT: Cambodia's first lady dissed Obama with 'sampeah' usually reserved for servants...  "Obama's Southeast Asia Trip All Style, No Substance"
...."As usual, he served himself politically in what was largely a Potemkin mission abroad.
"It was obvious enough from the rubelike gaffes that the president hasn't been particularly interested or attentive to the affairs of Thailand, Burma or Cambodia as he made his first trip since his re-election. It was pretty much all style over substance.
"In his tour of Burma, billed as an historic first visit since Burma's 2007 move to democracy, it was clear he was in way over his head, even on small things. Obama repeatedly referred to the country's Nobel Peace Prize-winning leader Aung San Suu Kyi as Aung Yan Suu Kyi, an astonishing error given her global fame."
