The "Dry Bones Blog"?

Dry Bones Blog

11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”

Al Sharpton Is A More Dangerous Liar Than Brian Williams- Where's HIS Suspension?

The Lid

"Tuesday evening, NBC announced Brian Williams would be suspended without pay for the next six months.  If they are to be consistent in their punishment, they should be suspending Al Sharpton for a much longer period. After all Williams lies were expressed just to make him look macho, Sharpton's lies were much worse, his slandered others, and while some of his falsehoods may be 20-years-old, he has never recognized his mistakes or apologize[d] for the falsehoods. Below are seven examples of Sharpton's lies, one for every day of the week."   Full article here.

Dem Rep. Hank Johnson On CBC Boycotting Netanyahu Speech: Obama Is A “Black Man Being Disrespected By A Foreign Leader”…

Weasel Zippers

Doesn’t Hank have bigger issues to worry about? Like Guam tipping over.

Via Politico:
The audience for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress on March 3 is shaping up to be largely Republican — and almost completely white.
Many members of the Congressional Black Caucus say they’re planning to skip the speech, calling it a slight to President Barack Obama that they can’t and won’t support.. . .

We Have to Talk About Obama’s Ignorance   "In the wake of the controversy over President Obama’s offensive labeling of anti-Semitic violence as “random,” it became clear that regardless of whether he chose his words carefully, he certainly chose his audience carefully. He was not challenged by his interviewer at Vox for his undeniably false characterization of the Paris attacks. And now, having given an interview to BuzzFeed’s Ben Smith, he has continued exposing his own ignorance in the hope that he would continue not to be called on it by his interviewers. He was in luck yet again." . . .

Jammie Wearing Fools: Anti-Semitic horrors don‘t exist in Obama’s world
"Take it from someone who keeps kosher: Nobody “randomly” happens to be in a kosher supermarket, not even in Manhattan."

Brian Williams is the least of the media’s problems.

. . . "By all means, send Brian Williams packing, but do not imagine that that will preserve or retrieve one jot of the self-shredded credibility of the U.S national media. They went from utter credulity in Vietnam to complete defeatism, crucified the president who got seriously into the war, and then crucified the president who saved the war, and helped deliver Indochina to the North Vietnamese Communists and Khmer Rouge who killed millions in the post-war massacres, the Cambodian Killing Fields, and the flight of the Boat People. They tried to assimilate Nicaragua and El Salvador to Vietnam; denied at every turn that Reagan’s defense buildup and anti-missile defense would produce any progress in arms control or the Cold War; never had the faintest hint that forcing the U.S financial industry into trillions of dollars of under-secured mortgages could lead to trouble; and have conducted a stentorian hallelujah chorus for the most incompetent president since James Buchanan. Of course, there have been many good newspeople, but the network newscasts are now just social-interest pap and they don’t resonate with the country. "
