Dianne Feinstein Reportedly Caught on Hot Mic Talking About Amy Coney Barrett's Religion

WJ  "
Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California was caught on a hot mic discussing Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s faith, according to a report.

On Thursday, following the conclusion of confirmation hearings for Barrett, Christian Broadcasting Network editor TrĂ© Goins-Phillips, with the company’s Faithwire News, shared an apparent hot mic moment involving Feinstein speaking about Barrett.

The California Democrat, per the video, was discussing Barrett’s pro-life stance.

“She’s been pro-life for a long time. So I suspect with her, it is deeply personal and comes with her religion,” Feinstein reportedly said of Barrett." . . .

Judge Barrett meets TDS

Silvio Canto, Jr.  "Let's hope that classes in the country are not watching the Supreme Court hearings.  Once upon a time, teachers would tune in to congressional hearings to teach about the wonders of our democracy.  What we've seen this week is a pathetic display of what Senate Democrats have turned into.  It's all about abortion or showing their crazy base that they will do, or say, anything to defend Roe v. Wade.  Do you wonder how many centrist Democrats are looking at this and getting sick?

"Let's sample the Democrats, as reported by Stephen Kruiser:

The display put on by the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee on Tuesday ranged from just sad to a most perfect display of what demented partisan hatred can do to a person.

Kamala Harris finally peeled off that campaign aura of calm and reminded us all just how off-putting she is. Harris remained in her office to question Barrett, just to keep the COVID panic porn ratcheted up.

Rather than being thoughtful — which she's probably incapable of anyway — Harris opted for ad hominem.

"Here is more:

Amy Klobuchar was fairly pathetic, admitting that she'd kind of hoped it would be her who was nominated for the Supreme Court one day rather than Barrett.

Gotcha, Sen. Sour Grapes. Klobuchar flailed about while questioning ACB about Roe v Wade and precedent. ACB got her so twisted around at one point that Klobuchar was unable to get out a coherent sentence.

"Then came that awful woman from the beautiful state of Hawaii.  How can people elect such a woman?  They did:

The vilest display of partisan hatred came from the pinched, bitter, and probably evil Mazie Hirono, the senator from Hawaii.

"Her question about "sexual assault" was asked in front of the judge's children.  Senator Hirono told reporters later that she asks that question of every nominee.

"So here we are.  This is what defending unconditional abortion has to done to this party.  They are at the mercy of a crazy radical wing overflowing with partisan hatred.

"Let's hope civics or U.S. history teachers decided to keep the TV off."

It is hard to imagine Joe Biden at the G-7, or mixing it up with China’s President Xi Jinping.

But President Trump’s best path forward is not attacking Biden or Harris. Rather, it is to tell voters what he wants to accomplish in the next four years, and remind them of his considerable past achievements. With the economy under stress, his high ratings on that issue alone should give him four more years.

Fox News   "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stepped in it again. With yet another ill-considered political stunt, she has stirred up President Trump’s base like someone poking a hive of angry hornets, and at the same time put a spotlight on Kamala Harris.

"Neither helps Democrats.

"With much fanfare, Pelosi, D-Calif., introduced a bill that would facilitate removing a president from office should a bipartisan group of legislators agree that he or she was no longer capable of carrying out the duties of his position. She proposed the new legislation to highlight her “concern” that President Trump’s recent bout with COVID-19, for which he was prescribed steroids, had resulted in “some impairment of judgment."

"The bill, which formalizes a remedy allowed by the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, will go nowhere in a GOP-led Senate. The grandstanding move was intended to deflect from Pelosi’s failure to pass a stimulus bill and highlight Trump’s supposedly erratic personality and decision-making. This is the campaign Democrats have chosen to run. Not about issues or policy; it is all about Trump.

"But Pelosi’s move backfired. President Trump hinted that the bill’s real purpose was to make it simpler for Democrats to shove Joe Biden aside, should he win in November, and replace him with his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

"This was a goof by Pelosi. Many probably believe Trump’s assertion, as they watch Biden struggling with what they see as cognitive impairment. According to a Zogby survey conducted in June, “a majority (55%) of likely voters surveyed thought it was more likely (much more and somewhat more likely combined) that Vice President Biden is in the early stages of dementia…”
