Gavin Newsom could tap Oprah to replace Feinstein in Senate: report

NY Post  "Media mogul Oprah Winfrey is being floated as a potential replacement for ailing Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) should the 89-year-old lawmaker step down before the end of her term, according to a report.

"Feinstein, who returned to the Senate earlier this month, has already said she will not run for re-election in 2024, but the Associated Press reports that several names including Winfrey’s are being discussed as potential replacements in case Feinstein retires.

"California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom would be tasked with choosing Feinstein’s successor should she retire before the 2024 election.

"Some Democrats have pushed for Feinstein to retire due to diminished mental acuity.

"Newsom has previously vowed to appoint a black woman should Feinstein’s seat open up.

"Winfrey, a Democrat and billionaire talk show host, would fit the bill.

"During the 2022 midterm elections, Winfrey waded into politics and endorsed several Democrats in high-profile races, including John Fetterman in Pennsylvania, Cheri Beasley in North Carolina, Val Demmings in Florida, Mandela Barnes in Wisconsin, Beto O’Rourke in Texas, Raphael Warnock in Georgia and Stacey Abrams in Georgia.

"In the run-up to the 2020 election, Winfrey was mentioned as a possible presidential contender, but she has ruled out running for the White House on multiple occasions.". . .

When Lia Thomas Entered the Women's Locker Room | Riley Gaines

"Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and 12 time all American swimmer Riley Gaines discuss the present issues surrounding women's sports, trans-athletes, and the grifters guilty of stolen honor."

From the comments to this post: "This is outrageous. We have to protect women’s Sports. I cannot believe that all these women didn’t just step off the swim platform when they found out they were swimming against a trans woman. they should have boycotted the moment they saw Lia.

"When I wrote Joe Biden, telling him not to update Title IX to "protect" trans athletes, I received back an insulting response that when on and on about how brave trans people are. The only bravery I see comes from Riley Gaines who is speaking out against this abomination. She has been labeled transphobic, ridiculed by Katie Porter, and physically attacked for speaking out. And yet she continues her fight. That is bravery."

"I have a locker room incident to share that unfortunately will never make headlines. Our hospital has enacted inclusivity “protections” for their employees. Immediately following these announcements a man who is 6’5 weighing around 250lbs began showing up in the nurses locker room. This man maintains his male appearance but claims he is female now. One evening an exhausted surgical nurse, coming off a long shift, entered the nurses locker room to find this man standing just inside the doorway, away from the showers (that have privacy screens) and away from the lockers, fully naked with an erection and GREETING her. She was stunned and as she backed up to leave he began berating her saying “Where are you going? I have a right to be here, I am a woman”. She reported it to HR and was informed any complaint from her would be considered harassment and offered her sensitivity training.

"Along with the male invasion of female sports, A good female friend of mine used to go with her friends to a womans only lesbian club, She and her friends stopped going due to trans invading their space, The men would become aggressive when the real women wouldn't reciprocate the flirting and more than a few times these trans were caught "playing with themselves" in the bathroom while women were in there."

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna's bold decision to move to expel Adam Schiff from Congress

Washington Examiner   "It is long past time for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to be held accountable for the inflammatory misinformation he spread during his time in office. Arguably one of the worst Democrats in congressional history, Schiff has a long track record of distorting facts, manipulating data, and not telling the truth. As such, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) introduced a resolution to expel Schiff from the House after the release of special counsel John Durham's report earlier this week.

"Luna called Schiff a "dishonor" to the House, and in actuality, that's probably an understatement. Schiff served as the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee from 2019 to 2023 and played a prominent role in advancing the hoax of collusion between former President Donald Trump and the Russian Federation. In 2017, he proclaimed there was "more than circumstantial evidence" of collusion. He continued this charade even after Robert Mueller's report and numerous other investigations proved no collusion.

"Knowingly using your position on House Intel to push a lie that ripped apart our country, cost taxpayers millions of dollars, and authorized spying on a US President and then proceeding to double down on the lie within days of the Durham report coming out makes you unfit for office," Luna said in a press release (and tweet). "Ethics should investigate."

"Make no mistake about it: Luna was absolutely justified in issuing this resolution. Given Schiff's atrocious history of telling the truth and advancing lies, this is an action Republicans should have taken a long time ago. All one must do is examine this dishonorable man's words and actions. His shenanigans routinely riled the public behind inflammatory claims he could never substantiate. Consider just some of his sordid history as the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

"As mentioned above, Schiff said that he had had "more than circumstantial evidence" of such wrongdoing between Russia and Trump and would eventually show it to the public. However, this didn't happen because he never had such proof.

"Then, in 2018, Schiff attempted to obstruct the release of former Rep. Devin Nunes's (R-CA) memo. This document detailed the FBI spying on a Trump campaign staffer in October 2016 after obtaining warrants based on misleading "politically motivated or questionable sources." It turned out Nunes was telling the truth — once again, Schiff was lying.

"Additionally, Schiff's dishonesty was on display for all to see during the second impeachment trial of Trump. He read an alleged phone transcript of a call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that turned out to be entirely fake. He was also dishonest regarding contact with the whistleblower from Trump's second impeachment trial." . . .

Support Trump? You could risk losing everything -

So, the question remains, what political movement throws bricks at gay people, eggs at women, threatens to kill political supporters and get them fired at their job?  Evidently, that group is the ones under the banner of tolerance and diversity.

Knowledge Glue  This isn’t one of those “Oh well, if HE gets elected the country is going to fall apart”.

"No, it’s much more ominous than that.

"This is the forcable silencing of people who support Donald Trump for president, and an attempt to force opinion change not through physical violence, but threats of job loss and such.

"This is all taking place on one of the largest websites in the world : reddit.com which sees hundreds of millions of page accesses every single day.

"Part of the design of this website, is that it allows users to self-create and self-moderate mini-websites called subreddits that allow users to talk about topics of their choice. Two of those subreddits are The_Donald which is home to 135,000+ Donald Trump supporters. The other page is Politics which is home to more than 3,000,000 members.". . .

"In both cases, the websites are supposed to allow free discourse and conversation. Except for an interesting event that happened today : The supporters of Donald Trump have
called out various websites (Including reddit.com) of actively deleting pro-Trump and anti-Clinton news stories. Essentially, there are many groups now censoring censorship stories if they are talking about their choice of candidate.

"Worst of all, it’s far beyond just simple ship, and evolved into more or less extortion schemes to support Hillary Clinton, and to a lesser extent, Bernie Sanders.

"What are the threats? Being reported to your ISP for ‘hate speech’, being reported to the company you work for ‘racist speech’ which could result in job loss, posting of your personal and private information online to various attack groups and the like. In fact, as it stands now, these things have happened to virtually everyone who helps organize Trump support pages.

"This all of course goes along with the anti-Trump narrative of throwing eggs at women and hitting gay latino men in the head with bricks.". . .

To Whom Do Our Children Belong? -

  Intellectual Takeout

“Teachers know what is best for their kids,” tweeted Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, “because they are with them every day. We must trust teachers.”

"In his May 20 article “‘These Are Our Kids, They Belong to All of Us’: Three Times the Left Trampled on Parental Authority This Past Week Alone,” Tim Meads looks at this comment, alongside recent remarks from Florida fifth-grade teacher Jenna Barbee and White House Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

"Barbee showed an LGBTQ film to her fifth-graders, was met with a protest from parents, and responded by saying that parental rights “are gone when your child is in the public school system because there are students talking about these things.”

"Jean-Pierre’s comments were the most egregious, though. Speaking at a GLAAD (formerly Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) function, she sharply criticized states and localities that are banning sex-change surgeries on children. “That’s something that we have to call out and continue to be very clear about,” she said. “These are kids. These are our kids. They belong to all of us.”

"All three of these people are emblematic of the ongoing battle over children, their upbringing and education, and the role of the state in these matters vis-à-vis the parents. Key to this conflict is a simple question: To whom do our children belong? . . ."

Dylan Mulvaney OUT! Manly Men IN!

NEW: Budweiser Tries 'Manly Man' Move to Careen Out of Crisis – RedState  "The boycott has gotten so bad for Bud Light, they’re even offering to essentially give beer away for free just so they can try to salvage some of their sales numbers over the Memorial Day weekend. But they were even offering to buy back some of the beer from wholesalers and ales are down in all regions of the country. Anheuser-Busch’s stock has also taken a serious tumble. The controversy has even affected other Anheuser-Busch brands beyond Bud Light.

"That last point may explain Budweiser’s latest move. They’re teaming up with Harley-Davidson for an ad and a limited edition can that celebrates the iconic motorcycle brand. It features dudes working on a Harley and then having beers as a narrator intones about “grit and resilience.”. . .

"More like this “Dud’s” for you, as some observed. It’s also a bit of a stereotype, which means that’s how they think of people. It’s like they went to the ad guys and said, “What can we do to recover and appeal to dudes who used to drink our beer?”

"Is this the best thought that they could come up with? Do they think that this is the way to win back their customers? That people are going to be buffaloed by such efforts? They must think so since they keep trying to pull out the ads like this. This is like when they put out a “countrified ad,” thinking throwing country music out there would do the trick. The effort to pander is silly. It’s a shallow assessment of what they think of their former customers while continuing not to get why people are disturbed or directly addressing the elephant in the room. What they should have done from the beginning is listen to the customers and hear why they were disturbed.

"Now, if you buy Bud Light, people think it means you’re endorsing Mulvaney or getting involved in politics. Most people when they buy beer just want to have a cold one — they don’t want it with a side of controversy, which is why it’s so bad for companies to wade into political wars.". . .

AOC Heckled and Shouted Off Stage by NYC Voters: 'Put America First'

AOC Heckled and Shouted Off Stage by NYC Voters: 'Put America First' (townhall.com)

"Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) was booed off stage during a New York City town hall by attendees who were frustrated by the Democrat's position on the looming debt ceiling issue, the border crisis, and the millions of dollars being funneled to Ukraine.

"Hecklers shouted at the Squad member several times, telling her that she doesn't put America first.

" 'American citizens before migrants," one man shouted as he walked toward AOC holding small American flags. "Where are you on the migrant issue? You're a piece of s—t."

"A crowd member attempted to defend AOC saying, "Immigrants have nothing to do with vets; it's just an excuse. We all, for the most part, came through Ellis Island." However, someone yelled out: "Legally!"

"AOC has been a long-time advocate for illegal immigration, even before they began being shipped to the Democrat-run city by Republican governors, as an attempt to deal with the thousands illegally crossing the southern border every day.

"On several occasions, the Squad member accused the Trump Administration of housing illegal aliens in concentration camps at the border." . . .

Another asked if the U.S. would do anything to stop the war with Russia, suggesting the country was on the brink of a nuclear war; she previously voted to send over $100 billion to Ukraine after suggesting she supported the idea of removing the debt ceiling.

Ron Paul Suggests Adam Schiff Should Be Expelled From Congress

 American Lookout

Retired Congressman Ron Paul is a man of integrity. He was sometimes described as the conscience of the Republican party.

"In a new column, he is suggesting that Adam Schiff should be expelled from Congress.

"Paul is saying this because of all of the damning information about Schiff that has been exposed since Elon Musk took over Twitter.

"Ron Paul writes at CNS News: "Isn’t it Time For Adam Schiff to be Expelled From Congress?

. . .

The short version of what Taibbi reported comes from around the time then-Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) was about to release his Committee’s findings about the FBI misuse of the FISA Court to spy on the Trump presidential campaign. The FBI, it turns out, relied exclusively on the widely-discredited “Steele Dossier” – paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign – as justification to spy on the Trump campaign.

When pressure grew to release the Nunes findings, Twitter exploded with users demanding that Congress “release the memo.” That’s where then-ranking Member Schiff and his staff began relentlessly pressuring Twitter to show that the accounts demanding the release of the memo were actually Russian agents, out to help their supposed favorite, Donald Trump.

We conservatives are not going to spend our lives looking the other way.

"For once, for once in our lives, let us wage war. Not like in the old days, hand-to-hand combat is so last century, but ChatGPT to ChatGPT (“Tell me something that annoys my enemy, apart from my condescension”), and besides, fighting is vulgar.
"Let’s be practical about this thing we call culture war. We have the Bud Light case going. . .

Catholic Group Announces Boycott, $1M Ad Campaign Against Dodgers –

  RedState

"As RedState’s been noting, normal people are waking to the social carnage wrought by the Sex & Death Left. They don’t like people sexualizing their kids or turning every public event into a ritual of woke political theater. Bud Light is learning it, Target is learning it, and hopefully, the Dodgers might be catching on soon.

"They will if CatholicVote has anything to do with it. The group has sent a public letter to L.A. Dodgers owner Mark Walter and CEO Stan Kasten announcing a boycott of the team to be publicized by a $1 million ad campaign.

"At issue, of course, is the Dodger’s on-again, off-again invitation to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to receive a community service award during the team’s “Pride Night” on June 16.

"The team initially announced the invitation a couple of weeks ago. Then, when Catholic groups and others started calling attention to the nature of the Sisters – transgender men dressing as Catholic nuns and simulating gay sex to intentionally mock the Church – the Dodgers disinvited the group. That, in turn, alienated L.A. Pride, which backed out of Pride Night.

"All of which threatened to answer the old question: What if they threw a Pride Night and nobody came? So the Dodgers caved. They re-invited the anti-Catholic bigots and apologized abjectly.

"It was a smart move to get the gays to Dodger Stadium on Pride Night, but it might prove a bad move if they care about getting normal people to the ballpark every other day of the season.". . .

Well, they will have celebrities and TV Hosts,,,

Biden Energy Official Sam Brinton Led D.C. Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Chapter (msn.com)   "President Biden’s former nuclear waste commissioner, Sam Brinton, a self-identified “non-binary” individual, previously held a leadership role in the Washington D.C. chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group known for blasphemous exhibitionism.

"Brinton served as the principal officer of the D.C. Sisters and adopted the nuclear-themed name Sister Ray Dee O’Active, according to tax filings reviewed by Fox News.

Sam and friends

"Recently, Brinton made headlines for his involvement in airport-luggage thefts. He was arrested as a fugitive from justice in Maryland following similar larceny in Minneapolis and Las Vegas. Brinton avoided jail time in the two previous cases by entering pleas.

"The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group based in San Francisco, were initially invited by the Los Angeles Dodgers to participate in the team’s Pride Night, then uninvited due to pressure from Catholic groups, but then re-invited, with the Dodgers organization promising in a press statement to “better educate” themselves. The Sisters often engage in activities that mock Christianity and the church, such as pole-dancing on a cross." . . .

Media Reports Suggest Turmoil Between Biden, Harris Going Into 2024

  Jon Dougherty

Former GOP presidential candidate and media magnate Steve Forbes told Fox News: “Joe Biden will not be the Democratic Party nominee … Because the economy — yeah, they can sweep the Hunter stuff away — but that has a stench out there

"A spate of new media reports hint that there is rising tension in the White House between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris as the 2024 presidential election cycle begins in earnest, with more Republicans jumping in to challenge them.

As noted by the outlet 1945, one of the biggest mounting concerns is Biden’s age and the fact that Harris, should the geriatric president be forced to resign his post or worse, die in office, would succeed him. She’s not been a popular vice president and in fact, her polling has consistently been worse than Biden’s, even when Biden’s numbers were at historic lows.

“ 'A vote for the Democrats might be for Biden. Then again, it might not be,” is what Republicans want Democratic voters to understand, the outlet noted.

"The report added ominously: “After all, President Joe Biden will be 82 if he were to win his reelection. The average lifespan for most American men is 77 years of age.”

?The report noted further:. . .

As uncomfortable as it is, Americans need to have the conversation about Biden that no Democrat wants them to have: can the forty-sixth president even make it as president for another four years? As a corollary to that line of questioning comes another important query that voters should be asking: can Kamala Harris be a good president, if something were to happen to Biden?

. . .
