4 Big Takeaways From The New York Times’s Attempt To Control The Hunter Biden Narrative

 The Federalist

A closer look at The New York Times’ reporting on Hunter Biden shows Biden’s team may be laying the groundwork ahead of an even bigger story.

"Last Wednesday, The New York Times reported on the continuing criminal investigation into Hunter Biden, and in doing so finally acknowledged the emails recovered from the laptop abandoned at a Delaware repair shop were authentic. Since then, much of the media’s coverage has focused on the corrupt press’ burying of the laptop scandal The New York Post broke shortly before the 2020 election.

"There is much more to be gleaned from the Times’s article, though, including these four takeaways.

  • 1. If the Laptop Is Legit, So Are the Scandals the Laptop Exposed
"The first key takeaway from The New York Times article concerns what it means for the scandals spawned by the October 2020 release of the emails and text messages contained on Hunter Biden’s MacBook. The supposed standard-bearers of journalism ignored those scandals for the last year-and-a-half by framing the material “Russian disinformation.”
"Now that the Times has acknowledged that the Biden-related emails and other documents recovered from the abandoned laptop are authentic, that means the scandals they exposed are also legitimate. As summarized at The Federalist here, there are eight Joe Biden scandals that deserve investigation.

The Corruption of the Biden Regime Is Now in Plain Sight

. . ."Perhaps the moment came with the New York Times‘ backhanded acknowledgment that the Hunter Biden laptop poses some extremely troubling questions about the integrity of the Bidens. This was stunning, as readers of The American Spectator know all too well how the New York Times and all the court media did a very successful job of effectively censoring this story, which would have been deadly to Joe Biden’s campaign had it been believed.". . .

No, AOC, Humans Are Not Killing the Earth

Remember her record of credibility...

BUSTED! Leaked Photos Reveal AOC Was ‘Crying’ Over an EMPTY PARKING LOT In Her Staged ‘Emotional’ Photos – enVolve (en-volve.com)

No, AOC, Humans Are Not Killing the Earth - American Thinker  . . ."For radicals like AOC, here are two solutions.  One is to drastically reduce the carbon footprint of every human being on the planet.  This could be accomplished by mandating electric vehicles or no car at all, and by using taxation and zoning to force humans into smaller, more efficient apartments.

"But housing and transportation would not be enough.  It would be necessary to slash electricity and other utility usages, since power plants are the largest source of man-made greenhouse gas emissions, and to outlaw animal products such as meat, eggs, and dairy.  It would also be necessary to limit travel and restrict land use so as to return land to its state of nature.". . .

. . ."That option is to reduce the number of human beings on Earth, be it by forced sterilization, birth control, abortion, or voluntary or mandatory euthanasia.  While they do not always admit it, radicals like AOC have been pushing this option for decades.  They envision a planet happily free of human industry and development — a lot like the primitive communal settlement depicted at the end of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451.  Or a planet free of humans entirely.". . .

Russia-Ukraine war: Biden says ‘Russia has strangled democracy’

India: The Statesman Limited   "As Russia tries to gain a stronghold in Ukraine, US President Joe Biden while speaking in Warsaw, Poland, said Russia has “strangled democracy” adding that its President Vladimir Putin is lying in a bid to justify the war.

"Biden said, “Today, Russia has strangled democracy and sought to do so elsewhere, not only in his homeland. Under false claims of ethnic solidarity, he’s invalidated neighbouring nations. Putin has the gall to say he’s ‘denazifying Ukraine.’ It’s a lie. It’s just cynical. He knows that. And it’s also obscene. President Zelensky was democratically elected. He’s Jewish. His father’s family was wiped out in the Nazi Holocaust. And Putin has the audacity, like all our autocrats before him, to believe that might will make right,” reported CNN News.

“ 'Over the last 30 years, the forces of autocracy have revived all across the globe. Its hallmarks are familiar ones: contempt for the rule of law, contempt for democratic freedom, contempt for the truth itself,” he added.

"Biden, in his speech, slammed Putin for condemning the NATO alliance. “A criminal wants to portray NATO enlargement as an imperial project aimed at destabilizing Russia. Nothing is further from the truth. NATO is a defensive alliance. It has never sought the demise of Russia,” Biden stated in his address.

"The US President also referenced US President Abraham Lincoln’s quote, “right makes might”, in his speech. Biden reiterated his stance on the Russian war in Ukraine and said that Putin is challenging the rules-based international order.". . .

Would this be considered "strangling democracy"?

'This man cannot remain in power': Biden says Putin should no longer be leader of Russia in a fiery speech in Poland - but the White House frantically backtracks after

 Daily Mail Online

Polish President Andrzej Duda listens as President Joe Biden delivers a
speech about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, at the Royal Castle

"President Joe Biden went directly after Vladimir Putin in an emotional speech on Saturday, where he said the Russian president 'cannot remain in power' and warned if Putin's ambitions went unchecked it could lead to decades of war in Europe.

" 'For god's sake this man cannot remain in power,' he said of Putin, describing the Russian president as having a 'craving for absolute power and control.'

"The Kremlin reacted furiously at the quote and the White House moved quickly to clear it up, saying Biden was not calling for a regime change in Moscow.

" 'The President's point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin's power in Russia, or regime change,' a White House official said.

"The Biden administration has taken care to not call for a regime change in Russia, knowing Putin would see it as an escalation.

" 'This is not to be decided by Mr. Biden,' Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters in response. 'It should only be a choice of the people of the Russian Federation.'

"Biden's remarks came after he made an emotional visit to some of the more than 3 million Ukrainians who have been evacuated their war-torn country and as Russia rained bombs down on the Ukrainian town of Lviv, just a few hundred miles away from Biden's location in Warsaw.

"In his fiery speech, Biden drew a stark line between democracy and oppression, repeatedly going after Putin and accusing the Russian president of dishonesty.". . .

Could Biden gaffe us into world war three? | The Spectator

Yet this was Biden’s third potentially world war three-triggering blunder in as many days. On Thursday, at the G7 summit, he told the press that if Russia used chemical weapons, his country would ‘respond in kind’. Did he really mean the US would breach international law if Russia did? We just have to hope he didn’t.

. . ."But the more awkward truth about Biden is that he always has had an almost supernatural ability to say not just the wrong thing but the worst thing. He was called the ‘gaffe machine’ long before people started asking if he was all there upstairs.". . .

"Alzheimer's sanctions"?....Biden’s brain broke again, this time with a dangerous remark about Putin

 Andrea Widburg

Laughably, Biden said that, despite the Cold War’s end, the battle continues against “the forces of autocracy”: “Its hallmarks are familiar ones: contempt for the rule of law, contempt for democratic freedom, contempt for the truth itself.” Strange words from the most corrupt man ever to occupy the office, a compulsive liar, and the president under whom the January 6 detainees have languished for over a year in jail, without bail or functional access to attorneys.

. . ."The speech went on and on, with Cold War platitudes, half-truths, self-aggrandizement, and boasts about destroying Russia’s economy and stealing the private wealth of Russian citizens, even though America is not at war with Russia. “As a result of these unprecedented sanctions, the ruble almost is immediately reduced to rubble.”

"There was the creepy echo of Biden’s story about the kids playing with his hairy legs: “I didn’t have to speak the language or understand the language to feel the emotion in their eyes, the way they gripped my hand, and little kids hung on to my leg....”

"And of course, he yelled, mumbled, and stumbled. Grandpa Simpson was on full display.

"Biden wrapped up the speech by touting clean energy, ignoring (a) that Biden has been begging Iran, Venezuela, and the Saudis for their dirty energy and (b) that there will never be enough clean energy to go around as long as leftists reject nuclear energy.

"Then, just when he seemed finally to be done speaking, Biden casually threw in a spontaneous threat to overthrow or even assassinate Putin: “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.' ”

Kremlin says it's not for Biden to say if Putin stays in power - SWI swissinfo.ch

. . ."Dmitry Rogozin, the outspoken head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, suggested mockingly on social media that the clarification of Biden's latest remarks had come from the White House medical unit.

"Rogozin has previously derided what he called "Alzheimer's sanctions" imposed on Russia by the United States over the war in Ukraine, which Moscow calls a special military operation."

. . .In fact, more than 7 in 10 military servicemen and women do not believe Joe Biden is competent enough to do the job of commander-in-chief. If that poll came out under Donald Trump, every American would’ve heard about it.”

Biden’s Cognitive Decline Proved to Be REALLY Dangerous This Week – PJ Media

. . ."Many of us warned that Joe Biden couldn’t handle the presidency, and his gaffes this week proved that gaffes like these could be hugely consequential in a really, really bad way. This man should never have run for president. He likely knew that his mental health wasn’t sufficient to handle the pressures of the job, and now we all have to sit on the edge of our seats wondering what he’ll say next and whether he’ll accidentally start a world war.

"But hey, no mean tweets, rights?". . .

Ben Sasse to Vote ‘No’ on Jackson’s Supreme Court Nomination, Threatening Judiciary Committee’s Approval

Conservative Playlist   . . ."If a majority of Judiciary Committee members do not vote to approve Jackson’s nomination, the vote may result in an 11-11 tie between Republicans and Democrats, forwarding her nomination to the Senate floor with additional procedural steps, meaning the nomination does not have the committee’s recommendation, which under other circumstances is often fatal.

A full Senate vote could then mean moderate Democrats may oppose Jackson’s nomination because of her record of soft sentencing on child pornography cases.

In his statement, Sasse said he opposes Jackson’s nomination because of a lack of any judicial philosophy, which she should have made “clear and understandable” for the committee.

“Judge Jackson is an extraordinary person with an extraordinary American story. We both love this country, but we disagree on judicial philosophy and I am sadly unable to vote for this confirmation,” Sasse said .". . .
