McEnany Makes Reporters Squirm, Forces Them to Watch Dems' COVID-19 Hypocrisy on Video During Briefing

“These images behind me make clear Democrats mindset. Rules for thee, but not for me. The President stands with you, your freedom, your ability to decide how to best protect your health. We all know how to protect ourselves from COVID-19. Wash your hands, socially distance, wear a mask. But as one federal court put it, there is no pandemic exception to the Constitution.”

The Federalist Papers  "Aside from President Donald Trump himself, if there’s one other person that can manhandle the liberal mainstream media in masterful fashion, it’s White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

"On Wednesday, in only the second briefing since the November 3 election, McEnany not only effectively called out Democrats on their hypocrisy for breaking their own COVID-19 lockdown rules, but made 100 percent sure that the reporters in the room witnessed exactly what she was talking about by playing a video on a loop in the background showing examples of Democrats breaking their own rules.

“ 'The United States Constitution matters even during a pandemic. While Democrat politicians seek to impose draconian restrictions against their citizens, this past week, the Supreme Court of the United States had their say on New York State’s capacity restrictions, which restricted the number of attendees allowed in places of worship, but not other government-deemed essential businesses,” McEnany said to kick off the briefing.

"The footage in the background as McEnany took Democrats to task showed the now-infamous photos of California Gov. Gavin Newsom enjoying a lavish dinner party without a mask or social distancing. Other images included the infamous footage of Speaker Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done in a nail salon that was supposed to be shut down.

“ 'Behind me, you will see displayed images of Democrat hypocrisy playing on loop. These images depict the following: They show Governor Gavin Newsom of California dining both maskless and indoors at the fancy French Laundry restaurant, despite severe lockdown restrictions against indoor dining for the very people he governs. You’ll see Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot celebrating in the non-socially distant streets of her city,” McEnany said. " . . More...

CNN daily nightmare is unfolding courtesy of James O'Keefe and Project Veritas

Thomas Lifson  "Appearing last night on Hannity, James O'Keefe joked about an advent

calendar–like daily set of presents for CNN and its CEO, Jeff Zucker.  If you haven't heard already, Project Veritas has been recording telephone conference calls at CNN, courtesy of an inside whistleblower, according to what O'Keefe told Hannity (video embedded below).  While CNN is fulminating about a lawsuit, O'Keefe is confident in his legal advisers' position that recording and releasing the calls is legal.

"CNN's new corporate parent, AT&T, is rumored to be trying to sell the network in order to reduce its corporate debt.  There are already worries that if Trump does not prevail in his lawsuits and Biden takes office, CNN will not be able use TDS as a lure for viewers.  Further damage to its credibility via release of phone calls will not help in gathering viewers." . . .

I read today how Fox News is turning into CNN by insulting its core audience.   . . . "Ace of Spades reported that Fox News, in response to its plummeting audience share, has taken to insulting its listeners, many of whom have decamped to Newsmax, as "fringe," "far right," and "radicalized."  That's sure to win them back to the fold.  As for me, between Fox News's appalling and corrupt Arizona call and its increasingly openly expressed hatred for Trump and his supporters, I no longer view Fox News as a "trusted source.' Obama does his version of the Clinton leg-spread magazine cover

Monica Showalter  "What is it about Democratic presidents and their urge to get in your face, showing themselves in all their arrogant glory on men's and women's magazine covers as their terms end?

Exhibit A is Barack Obama's sneering, smirking, arrogant photo on the cover of InStyle magazine, looking down with a sneer at all those deplorables as if to say, forever and ever, "I won."

"Had enough?

"It's styled to repel.  The picture is a victory dance of sorts, not even hiding it, no Bushian modesty, not even trying to appear a nice guy.  It shows what these political creatures are really like, in real life, the mask off, which includes a cozy relationship with the press, especially the fawning soft-side press.  They are ego trips that excite only Democrats.  And it's part of a bottom-drops-out trend started by Bill Clinton and will likely continue.  Imagine what Joe Biden's on the cover of Teen Vogue or something in maybe 2024 is going to look like." . . .
