Devils In Skirts And Ladies From Hell

 Key Military

"According to legend, the Scottish soldiers of the British Army were called ‘Devils in Skirts’ or ‘Ladies from Hell’ by their German foe. Rob Schäfer looks at the origin of that legend and sorts fact from fiction."

Rebecca Downs  "Joe Biden's team realizes he needs those critical Rust Belt states like Michigan and Wisconsin and is trying to appeal to them with visits over the past few days.

"I wrote earlier about the campaign event he did in Michigan on Thursday where he wanted to take questions but then his staff swept in to shut that down in a troubling video showing that he's not in charge. The staff also tried to make it tough for the media to hear what Biden was saying at his stop. Maybe because Biden appeared to be suffering from a lot of confusion.

"He also went to Wisconsin on Wednesday to try to convince people that his "investments are rebuilding our communities" as his White House public schedule claims. That's a cruel joke since his "investments" [translate: spending] has contributed to the inflation that we are all suffering from.

"But Biden tell people not to believe the evidence of their own eyes. We all know how high that inflation has been under Joe Biden. Under him, it went up to 9.1 percent. Now it's lower than it was at its highest point under him, but it's still higher than when he came in, when it was 1.4 percent.

"But listen as Biden, struggling with the teleprompter again and squinting up a storm, tells us, “We have among the lowest inflation rates of any country in America!"

The art of terror created by Hamas and US Democrats

Is there no end to those who bring nothing but death and terror to the Jewish people? TD

As in Nazi persecution, one pictures this scene greeting Hamas raiders as they opened doors of Israeli 'safe rooms" in the villages around Gaza. This could have been a scene shown in the Hamas videos that were watched and cheered by the Gazans. TD

‘It’s important to me to show what happened’: the [leftist] Israeli artist drawing the traumatic events of 7 October (theartnewspaper.com)   . . ."The first morning [of the Israel-Hamas conflict] I was like, OK don’t worry, nothing serious is happening. But then when I saw the terrorists coming I was like, oh my god. I had friends from Russia staying in my house. They were supposed to go back the same day. We woke up because of an alarm, but in Tel Aviv it’s pretty normal. And then they told us there are terrorists coming from house to house and I thought: this cannot be. I couldn’t believe such a thing could happen—that terrorists were walking free without any interruption for so many hours. At first you think it cannot be, and then you realise what is happening is worse than you can imagine." . . .

. . ."To those who recognise and condemn the brutalities of 7 October but are calling for a ceasefire—an immediate end to the loss of civilian life in Gaza—what do you say?
"I don’t know. I’m too confused right now. Whatever will bring our hostages back as soon as possible. I’m only sure that there must be a two-state solution in the end. This is the only way.
"What is your hope for the future of Israel and Palestine?
"I hope that Hamas will go down and I hope that there will be a Palestinian state along the limits [drawn in] 1967. I hope that this crazy, extreme right-wing government will be replaced by someone more normal. But this is my hope, and my fear is that everything will be even more political than it is now because people are so angry. And there are so many dead in Israel and Gaza—usually when this happens it’s a chance for more radical groups to take over. I’m afraid that’s more realistic than ever." . . .

Biden Admin, Like Obama Before It, Has Found An Enemy It’s Willing To Fight: Not Hamas, But Bibi Netanyahu

. . ."If Israel and Bibi gave in to this HATEFUL administration’s demands, they would forfeit this inhumane war that Hamas started on that fateful day that its’ citizens were murdered, raped, dehumanized and kidnapped. This was the lowest and most disgraceful attack of any war on planet Earth. Those vicious COWARDS not only deserve death but don’t belong in the human race.  Bibi wasn’t mincing words when he said that this war is for the survival of the country of Israel and anyone who doubts this is not only a complete fool, but hopelessly evil minded." Comment to this post.  May Israel and YHWH forgive this nation. TD

The attacks on Netanyahu are escalating from the White House: Biden says capturing Hamas’ last stronghold in Rafah is “a red line” while Harris says: “It’s important to distinguish and to not conflate the Israeli government with the Israeli people.”

"It's been reported for more than a week that the United States is actively seeking to enact regime change in Israel. The most recent effort sought to destroy the coalition that elected Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister by actively supporting Netanyahu's rival Benny Gantz's opposition party, and that looks to have failed pretty hard. When that plot was made public, Netanyahu's government hit back with a stern statement saying they expect their friends (the United States) to focus on overthrowing Hamas, not the Israeli government, and that only the Israeli citizens have a say in who is Prime Minister, through elections.

"Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) took that to mean that the United States should now advocate for new elections in Israel, to give Netanyahu the boot, and argued that on the floor of the Senate Thursday." . . .
Could Schumer’s broadside against Bibi have the Trump Effect of backfiring on him? - American Thinker   . . ."Add to that the little matter of not kicking an ally when he’s down.
"The last thing in the world any country needs when it is at war, and surrounded on all sides — literally, geographically — by the enemy, is to have a United States senator, much less this guy, call for yet more disruption, more chaos, when you have all you can do to simply keep your people alive.

"Chuck Schumer is only the “most prominent” Jewish voice in the Senate, representing the largest population of Jews outside of Israel anywhere on earth, so when he opines on all matters Israel, it matters."  Foreign policy ace Kamala Harris is back in the saddle, explaining to all us rube voters what Gaza is all about.

Your Democrat party supports these people, Chuck!

Police have privately shown journalists a single horrific testimony that they filmed of a woman who was at the Nova festival site during the attack. She describes seeing Hamas fighters gang rape a woman and mutilate her, before the last of her attackers shot her in the head as he continued to rape her.

At the Jewish Museum, gut-wrenching drawings depict the terror of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel - New York Jewish Week (jta.org)

"A family of ashen, burned bodies sit around their kitchen table, their expressions frozen in terror — hands pressed against gaping mouths, silently screaming. An elderly couple, hands bound in rope behind their backs, embraces as blood pools around them and flames lick at their feet. A mother grips her son close to her chest as she looks over a pile of dead bodies.

"These horrifying scenes are part of “7 October 2023,” a new exhibit of 12 drawings created by Israeli artist Zoya Cherkassky in response to the Hamas attacks on that day. The colorful but violent and gut-wrenching works, which are now on view at the Jewish Museum on the Upper East Side, are inspired in part by Pablo Picasso’s renowned “Guernica,” which he painted to show the world the violence and inhumanity during the Spanish Civil War.

“ 'Museums exist to be custodians of world cultural heritage, and this kind of savagery and barbarism is the antithesis of that,” James Snyder, who took over as the new director of the Jewish Museum last month, told the New York Jewish Week. “We need to speak out against them and we need to do what we can to educate and engage.' ” . . .

Judge Splits the Baby in Ruling on Fani Willis Disqualification

BREAKING: Judge Rules Fani Willis Can Continue Trump Prosecution—But There's a Catch – PJ Media  . . ."McAfee ruled that Willis can continue to prosecute the former president and his co-defendants, but he has given the state multiple options to handle the case. All options involve Nathan Wade stepping away from the team.

“The prosecution of this case cannot proceed until the State selects one of two options,” McAfee wrote in his decision. “The District Attorney may choose to step aside, along with the whole of her office, and refer the prosecution to the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council for reassignment... Alternatively, (Special Assistant District Attorney) Wade can withdraw, allowing the District Attorney, the Defendants, and the public to move forward without his presence or remuneration distracting from and potentially compromising the merits of this case.”

"Willis campaigned as an anti-corruption candidate in 2020 because accusations of sexual and financial wrongdoing surrounded her predecessor, Paul Howard. She declared to an interviewer that the people of Fulton County “deserve a DA that won't have sex with his employees [and] won't put money in their own pocket.” . . .

Georgia DA Fani Willis can remain on Trump election fraud case, judge rules (nypost.com)  "District Attorney Fani Willis can stay on and prosecute the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants for allegedly trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election — if special prosecutor Nathan Wade steps aside, a judge ruled Friday.

"Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee issued the decision after deliberating for two weeks following testimony from Willis, Wade and others close to them.

"In the decision, he noted that the defense had produced evidence of “a significant appearance of impropriety that infects the current structure of the prosecution team.” . . .
