Drag Queens and R-Rated Features: The Latest Offerings From Disney+

Blazing Cat Fur  "From House of Mouse to house of gauche.

"An upcoming series on Disney+ is set to feature a drag queen in a starring role. Shea Couleé, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, will be appearing in a currently unspecified role in the Marvel superhero series Ironheart. The series focuses on the adventures of Riri Williams, a 15-year-old black female genius inventor who creates her own Iron Man–esque suit of armor. While Couleé’s role remains unclear, it appears as though the actor will be a “series regular.” Couleé was previously the inspiration for a drag queen character in the Marvel Iceman comics."

If You Don't Get Why Trump Pled the Fifth, Listen to the Remarks of the NY AG –

If You Don't Get Why Trump Pled the Fifth, Listen to the Remarks of the NY AG – RedState  "As we reported earlier, President Donald Trump invoked the Fifth Amendment when he was questioned during a deposition in New York on Wednesday in a civil case being pursued by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

“I once asked ‘if you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?’ Now I know the answer to that question,” Trump said in a statement. “When your family, your company, and all the people in your orbit have become targets of an unfounded, politically motivated Witch Hunt supported by lawyers, prosecutors, and the Fake News Media, you have no choice.”

"Folks on the left are already trying to spin that negatively against Trump. Even former prosecutor and lead impeachment counsel Daniel Goldman tweeted something that is just plain wrong. He should be ashamed he tweeted it and is misleading people who may not know better.". . .

"There are reasons we have rights. Lawyers particularly should be respectful of that — not putting down or denigrating the exercise of those rights or acting like taking the Fifth is a sign of guilt. Indeed, given all that has been leveled against Trump from multiple Democratic efforts, it is the intelligent and responsible way to proceed.

"If Goldman and others want to play that game, perhaps they’d like to explain why Hillary Clinton’s IT guy invoked the Fifth 125 times during the email investigation?

"Goldman is now running for Congress so perhaps he’s trying to appeal to the left with his tweet, but he’s just showing he has no principles with it.". . .

. . ." Everything about him is a failure, and Biden himself often seems to know it.  The inflation, open border, international humiliation, out-of-control crime, falling wages, supply chain failures, baby formula shortages, wokester lunacies, military recruiting deficits, and the grand sense from voters that the country is moving in the wrong direction are his legacy.

Garland; the man Obama chose to be on the Supreme Court

Ann Coulter: Merrick Garland Is a Lunatic (townhall.com)   "Let's hope Merrick Garland's search of Mar-a-Lago is based on more evidence than his indictment of the Louisville, Kentucky, police officers involved in the raid on Breonna Taylor's house.
"That passive construction I just used -- "involved in the raid on,"
"instead of "who raided" -- is not sloppy writing: It's the facts. The officers who actually shot Taylor have not been charged, apparently on the flimsy grounds that they were being shot at when they fired. Instead, our lunatic attorney general has indicted officers who prepared the affidavit used to obtain the warrant to search Taylor's home. In the words of the indictment, the affidavit "contained information that was false, misleading and out-of-date ... and the officers lacked probable cause for the search."
"Further, the indictment also alleges that the officers knew they were providing false information.
"Breonna Taylor, you will recall, was the moll for drug dealer Jamarcus Glover, one of Louisville's biggest suppliers of cocaine and fentanyl, and therefore by definition a murderer. On March 13, 2020, the police executed simultaneous search warrants on two of his "trap houses" as well as the home of his bagwoman, Breonna.
"At Taylor's house, police announced themselves and got no response. They announced themselves again; no response. They announced themselves again; no response. Finally, they used a battering ram to enter. Almost immediately, an officer was shot.
"The man with Taylor, Kenneth Walker, claims he shot at the officers because he thought the guys pounding on the front door and yelling "POLICE!" were home invaders. Skeptics will say that's implausible, but it is now treated as hard fact in such solid, reliable news sources as The New York Times.
"The officers returned fire and hit Taylor, who had the misfortune to be standing next to her boyfriend as he was shooting at the police. Riots ensued. Taylor's family got $12 million. "Kentucky's criminal prosecution of the one officer charged ended in an acquittal. With last week's suit, the federal government is now bringing its own criminal charges against the police -- in a sane world, this would be double jeopardy -- alleging that the affidavit for a search warrant was based on information that was knowingly "false, misleading and out-of-date." "Specifically, the feds say the following claims were false:
"1. Glover and Taylor had an "ongoing connection". . .
