"Moderate Democrats are irrelevant now. 

"It's going to be pedal to the metal for the progressive left. We have to get to the bottom of who chose Herschel. OH! Look -- it was Donald Trump. 

"In March 2021, Trump put out this statement:

 "Wouldn't it be fantastic if the legendary Herschel Walker ran for the United States Senate in Georgia? He would be unstoppable, just like he was when he played for the Georgia Bulldogs, and in the NFL. He is also a GREAT person. Run Herschel, run!"

"It's not as if running for office had been Walker's lifelong dream. Trump picked him. Why? Because Walker had played for Trump's United States Football League and was a contestant on "Celebrity Apprentice." That's how Trump picks candidates. He knows the guy.

GREAT CALL! I sure hope he has some more brilliant ideas for can't-miss Senate candidates. Omarosa maybe? Carrot Top? Ghislaine Maxwell? 

"The former president is now responsible for losing three successive Senate seats in the state of Georgia. That's in addition to losing 40 House seats in the 2018 midterms, losing the presidential election in 2020, and losing seat after seat in this year's midterms -- a year that should have been a Republican sweep. Instead of crime, the border and inflation, Trump demanded that GOP candidates fixate on his "stolen" election.

"But it's Georgia that got the full benefit of the Trump magic. 

"After the 2020 election, two runoff elections in Georgia would decide the balance of power in the U.S. Senate. When we really needed all hands on deck, Trump went down to Georgia and was a wrecking ball. He insulted everyone, refused to talk about anything but himself, viciously attacked the state's Republican governor and secretary of state, blamed them for his loss, claimed the vote was rigged and told his supporters not to vote.

"As COVID-19 cases increase, the Los Angeles County public health director is threatening – yes, that’s the right word – another indoor mask mandate. It’s a hob-nailed boot on the neck. Angelenos need to resist, for themselves and the rest of the country.

“As COVID cases and other viruses continue to rise, the Southland is inching closer to a mask mandate,” the Los Angeles CBS affiliate reported Sunday. Barbara Ferrer, the county director of public health, who is not a physician, not a nurse, not even a paper shuffler at a doctor’s office, but a social welfarist, said last week that “masking” is one of several “commonsense mitigation strategies” that “remains a very sensible approach.”

"Don’t mistake mask mandates as harmless cases of officials acting in an abundance of caution or just covering their backsides, as government always does. Mask mandates are open displays of outright meanness, a manifestation of authoritarian urges to control others. There is no data, no reputable research that tells us mask mandates works.

"In fact, the data tells the opposite. Yet officials such as Ferrer and the Sacramento schools chamberlains are insisting that masks must go back on. Baker, during his time at the FBI, was involved in the discredited Steele Dossier as well as Russiagate.

. . .According to the Washington Times, Baker had connected Michael Sussmann, a friend and lawyer, with FBI top investigators in 2016, where Sussmann passed along the claims that Donald Trump had colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election.

Baker’s time at the FBI ended in 2018 after he resigned, with the agency’s former counsel being eyed for potentially disseminating classified information to journalists regarding the Steele Dossier, according to the Washington Examiner.

Oh yeah and he also finally got fired from the FBI for leaking classified national security information about the Trump administration to the media.

He went from spying on Trump to censoring the Hunter laptop to secretly reviewing the Twitter files before their release.

"One of the Biden administration’s diversity hires was arrested after he stole a woman’s expensive suitcase at the airport in September and then proceeded to continue using her suitcase on subsequent flights.

"The guy’s name is Sam Brinton. He serves in the Clown World administration as the deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition at the Department of Energy.

"Only Sam Brinton identifies as “genderfluid,” which means he should really consult with a mental health professional who can help him work out his gross emotional problems.

"And because this is Clown World, the news reports about Brinton’s arrest are careful to describe him as “they” and not “he,” which is all manner of confusing for anyone with a firm grasp on the English language and grammar.

Brinton initially denied stealing the suitcase to police officers, but later claimed they took it by mistake and still had it in their possession. . . .

GOP leader Ronna Romney McDaniel is a fine person, a reliable conservative, a person who can get along with any fractious branch of the Republicans, who has never insulted conservative voters, but she's now presided over the loss of the last three election cycles, plus this last fiasco in Georgia. . .

The Senate has two important and specific duties. Senators are empowered to conduct impeachment proceedings of high federal officials, are tasked with exercising the power of advice and consent on treaties, and play an important role in the confirmation (or denial) of certain appointments including ambassadors and judicial court justices.

"Now Biden will have a free path towards nominating the craziest of the crazy left Supreme Court justices, be in a position to squelch potentially bipartisan legislation, end the filibuster, provide advice and consent on U.S. treaties (Hellooo, United Nations rule!) and serve as jury for votes on impeachment. This Senate, with its 51-seat majority, will be in a position conduct considerable mischief, all without having to worry much about John Fetterman being absent for health reasons, or Joe Manchin getting a case of the willies from his constituents. Nor will it have much use for Kamala Harris to break ties, which frees her up for more selfies, Vogue photo shoots, and campaigning for president in Joe's stead, particularly if Joe experiences a full lights out.
