 "A Pennsylvania county commissioner recently called for Confederate statues at Gettysburg National Park to be removed, then deleted the online post due to major criticism.

“ 'The only thing I could think of to do was, okay, I’ll just take it down. I actually unpublished my page for a little bit. Next week, I’ll probably bring it back up,” said Adams County Commissioner Marty Qually (D).

"Qually claimed he was not trying to erase history but pointed to what happened when counterprotesters showed up at Gettysburg over the Independence Day weekend in response to online rumors about an Antifa flag burning.

"Friday, ABC 27 provided screenshots of what appeared to be the commissioner’s since-deleted Facebook post.

“ 'We cannot allow our county to become a holiday destination for hate, racism, and false patriotism,” he wrote, adding that among them were  “clear white supremacists, Klan members, coming to protect our monuments.”

"Qually said he removed the post because it got so many comments and became difficult to monitor.

"Later, State Rep. Dan Moul (R) of Adams County commented that “Those people who carry those symbols of hate have no place here. Don’t bring your hate here. That’s not what this town’s all about.”

"However, Moul added that Qually’s call to bring down the Confederate monuments at Gettysburg was “insanity.”

“ 'If you wipe our history away, we are bound to repeat it. And, that’s a place we never want to go again in this country,” he contined.

"After receiving so much criticism, Qually said Thursday that the removal should only be a last resort.

“If we can’t educate the public to the point where people aren’t driving from eight hours away to come here to protect [statues], then I think we have to look at their removal as an option,” Qually noted.

“ 'I don’t know that there’s enough education in the world to get them to understand they’re harming our local economy,” he concluded."

 "Joe Biden’s radical proposal for the Democrat Party platform for 2020 seeks to put an end to America’s suburban communities by forcing low-income housing into every neighborhood and flooding every community with immigrants, legal or otherwise.

"The proposal, known as the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations, would provide instant amnesty and a pathway to U.S. citizenship for the 22 million illegal aliens now living in the nation. Astoundingly, it would also give legal status to all the world’s refugees regardless of the legitimacy of their claim to the status.

"But on top of all that, Biden and Sanders are proposing that Barack Obama’s so-called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rules will be put into full force.

"For instance, in the “executive orders” section of the platform proposal, Biden/Sanders note that Biden would, “Implement the Obama-Biden Administration’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule requiring communities receiving certain federal funding to proactively examine housing patterns and identify and address policies that have discriminatory effects.”

"The Biden/Sanders platform also scolds Trump, and says Biden would “Roll back Trump Administration policies gutting fair lending and fair housing protections.”

In another section, the platform states Biden would: “Ensure effective and rigorous enforcement of the Fair Housing Act and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. Hold financial institutions accountable for discriminatory practices in the housing market.”

Los Angeles's mayor, Eric Garcetti, has called them "killers." New York's Mayor Bill de Blasio has told of giving his black son 'the talk' about all those racist cops out there, while his daughter has been arrested with a gang of bottle and rock throwers calling to defund the police. Based on the activity of a very few bad cops, they're now all guilty, and big restraints on their use of force to protect communities has now come into effect in New York. Seems that if they left can't quite 'defund' the cops, their second tack is to render the cops defenseless instead.

We all know how bad things were when U.S. troops were forced to fight wars in Vietnam and Iraq with "one hand tied behind their backs" as the enemy slaughtered them and hippies spat on returning troops in the airports.

"This is even worse. Any sensible cop would retire while the pension pot is still there in blue cities like these and head out for red country, where rule of law is still a thing. Those who can't will retire at their desks, seeing nothing, hearing nothing, and letting the bad guy get away.

“We’re all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump, who is a builder,” CEO Robert Unanue said in a Rose Garden speech following a meeting with Trump and other Hispanic business magnates and politicians.
"The hashtags #Goyaway and #BoycottGoya began trending on Twitter, with calls to boycott the brand from Democrats and Latino leaders. 
"Former secretary of housing and urban development Julián Castro said in a tweet that New Jersey–based Goya has been a “staple of so many Latino households for generations” but accused Unanue of “praising a president who villainizes and maliciously attacks Latinos for political gain.”
“ 'Americans should think twice before buying their products. #Goyaway,” he added. 

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) tweeted, “Oh look, it’s the sound of me Googling ‘how to make your own Adobo.’” She later shared a friend’s recipe for Adobo seasoning, which is made by Goya and is a well-known Latino ingredient.
