Donald Trump: Thin-Skinned Tyrant

Political Cartoons by Michael Ramirez
Andrew C. McCarthy  "Is Donald Trump the sharia of American politics? I’m having trouble finding much daylight between Islamic law’s repressive blasphemy standards and the mogul’s thin-skinned sense of privilege.

"None of us wants to be insulted or smeared. But sharia forbids not only ridicule or slander against Islam; it bans any examination that casts Islam in an unflattering light. Worse, truth is not a defense: Even if one’s questions are based on undeniable past actions or verbatim quotes from scripture, tough questioning is considered blasphemous. Retribution, moreover, is often completely out of proportion to the scale of the perceived “offense.”

"How is Trump different?" . . .
To Trump the mildest criticisms are “vicious” attacks.

The Revolution That Will Either Destroy America... or the Left

Daniel Greenfield  "Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are the same candidate. They’re both leftist radicals with degrees in political science who held back some of their more radical ideas to pursue political office. In the two years that they served together in the Senate, they voted the same way 93 percent of the time.

"They’re also political opportunists. Bernie Sanders, no less than Hillary, reinvented his political views, including his allegiance to Socialism, numerous times over the years. Sanders moderated his positions on everything from gun control to Israel when it helped his political career. He’s now modifying plenty of positions all over again in order to appeal to new and different voters.

"Bernie Sanders is no more authentic than Hillary Clinton and she is no less radical than he is.

"Both her attempts to appear mainstream and his efforts to seem radical are political poses that they deploy to bring in money and support from major blocs within the Democratic Party. Underneath the theater, Hillary Clinton is a longtime Alinsky fan while Bernie Sanders stumbles trying to update his views with the current obsessions of the radical left on everything from immigration to gun control to race.

"The real struggle isn’t over beliefs, but over tactics." . . .

NYC To Stop Enforcing Public Urination Laws Because They’re Racist…

Weasel Zippers

flatbed-1

"New York values?
"Via Daily Caller:
New York City’s city council is set to dilute a host of criminal laws including laws against public urination and excessive noise because council members believe too many members of minorities are getting arrested.
The New York Police Department already relaxed its enforcement of many quality-of-life laws after years of enforcing exactly such laws led to record lows of crime in the once-much-grittier city, reports The New York Times,
This relaxation strategy wasn’t enough for city lawmakers.
“We know that the system has been really rigged against communities of color in particular,” council member Melissa Mark-Viverito, a Democrat, told the Times. “So the question has always been, what can we do in this job to minimize unnecessary interaction with the criminal justice system, so that these young people can really fulfill their potential?”

. . . "There are really two entirely distinct issues on the table (not that "the table" is anyplace you'd want to be inside a Planned Parenthood): what the videomakers and clinicians actually did, and how those actions arejudged by the law

"The videomakers lied and forged fake identification to get their hidden cameras into Planned Parenthood, and this is against the law. And they surely knew it was against the law and took the risk anyway because sometimes that's what has to be done when authorities won't act. How many civil rights marchers, black and white, were legally arrested when trying to end segregation? Breaking the law doesn't necessarily make your cause wrong.

"The videos (both edited and unedited) clearly and repeatedly showed Planned Parenthood officials and clinicians playing semantic games and using creative bookkeeping to make their sales of fetal tissue (and gross violations of ethical medical practice) have the appearance of legality. But obeying the letter of the law while circumventing its meaning doesn't necessarily make your cause right." . . .

Austrian Schoolchildren Told To Memorize Words To Christian Hymn, School Replaces Word “God” With “Allah”…

"Via Breitbart:"
Austrian authorities are investigating after children were sent home from a kindergarten with homework to learn the words to a Christian hymn, which had the word ‘God’ replaced with ‘Allah’.
The Austrian parent of one child at the Muslim majority school in Oberösterreich complained after he found the handout given to his daughter with the words and musical notation for the popular German children’s hymn ‘Gottes liebe ist so wunderbar’ (God’s love is so wonderful) had been edited and photocopied with new lyrics.
The school claimed they made the change to ‘Allah’s liebe ist so wunderbar’ to satisfy the majority of 10 year old pupils in the class, who are Muslim, reports Kronen Zeitung. While ‘Allah’ translates literally as God from Arabic, the angry father protested that schools simply cannot go about re-writing Christian hymns.
The Austrian schools inspectorate has called the teacher of the class and the principal in for discussions over the incident.

Apparently pro-gun buyers and sellers are not who Democrats think. Think "good guys with a gun"

Clinton and Sanders told the same debate lie. Watch it get debunked.   "In their sham debates, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have been telling the same old lies about guns. They tell us Americans can buy automatic weapons. They tell us you can buy semi-automated weapons without a background check, via the “gun show loophole.”
"It turns out the whole thing was a big, fat lie, and now we have proof.
"Steven Crowder turned his hidden camera on gun dealers this time, as he tried to get them to break federal gun laws by selling him an automatic weapon, or by selling him a semi-automatic weapon without any papers.
"Spoilers: Clinton and Sanders are liars."

(VIDEO) See For Yourself How A Good Guy With A Gun Saves the Day  "The gun control enthusiasts and generic left wing gun grabbers always claim, against all contrary evidence, that there is no proof that concealed carry actually saves lives. Check out this video from a hold-up in Columbia, South Carolina.
"The setup. It is about 7 pm at a popular barber shop and beauty salon in Columbia, South Carolina. Two armed men enter the business and take it over. This is a particularly dangerous type of robbery as the robbers have everyone in the business under their control and there is minimal danger of being seen. These are the types of robberies that often result in patrons being shepherded into a backroom and executed." . . .

Second angle of barbershop shooting released as CWP holder speaks on incident
. . . "This new angle shows more of the aftermath of the shootout. After one of the men opened fire, you can clearly see a small child being yanked out of the barber chair by one of the people inside the shop.
"The child hits the ground and is covered up by the person. After the bullets stopped, the child gets up and walks into the arms of a woman a few feet away.
"Billy Bookman, a worker at the shop, was one of the two CWP holders who pulled out a gun. He said he'd been in a similar situation like this one before almost two years ago. However, he was unable to respond back then because he was told to lie on the floor by two armed robbers.
"Bookman says this time, though, he's glad he had his CWP and reacted the way he did.
" 'I never knew what would have happened if I didn't have it," Bookman said. "Because the guy was just running around here, demanding money and yelling and stuff like that, so I don't know what would have happened if I didn't have it."
"Bookman says owning a CWP for him is all about protecting others and protecting himself. He also believes others, like fellow business owners, should at least look into it.

" 'Somebody might could save my life one day," Bookman said. "So I think more people should have it.' " . . .

Clinton Quietly Building Her Own National Security Council
. . . "But sources close to the campaign told me that Clinton, Sullivan and campaign chairman John Podesta are in regular contact with former National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Other former top officials include Michelle Flournoy, who was undersecretary of defense for policy; Kurt Campbell, who was assistant secretary of state for East Asia and the Pacific; and Nicholas Burns, who was undersecretary of state for political affairs. One source close to the campaign described the interactions as “studiously informal but regular.' ” . . .
At least she has enough brains to disagree with Sanders' wish to "move as aggressively as we can to normalize relations with Iran."

We are witnessing the end of the House of Clinton
"1. There is the stench of political death around Hillary, Bill, Chelsea and the entire House of Clinton.
"2. You could feel it when Republican front-runner Donald Trump hit back — hard — over the "penchant for sexism" charge by basically calling Hillary Clinton an enabler in the former president's sexual shenanigans.
"3. When have we ever seen the Clintons back off? But they did." . . .

Susan Sarandon backs Bernie; "What has Hillary done?"
". . . "She also dinged Clinton over the checks she's taken from financial institutions like Goldman Sachs and said Sanders is 'untainted'

"And she said Clinton is a johnny-come-lately on issues like gay marriage: 'There's a number of issues where she has come around but she very clearly equivocated or was not there in the beginning' "

Clinton, seen here today in Des Moines, Iowa, is a former secretary of state and has more experience in the foreign policy realm than Sanders. 'But what is experience without judgement,' Sarandon said tonight. 'She's had a job but what has she done that we're bragging about. How has she led?'

Hillary Decides What’s Top Secret, What’s Not  . . . "An apologia for Clinton’s actions on Media Matters citing various anonymous “government officials” basically attempts to explain why the SAP classified material was not really classified at all, and so nothing to get excited about." . . .

Hillary's email scandal now potentially a matter of high treason
. . . "Ken Cuccinelli, the former attorney general of Virginia, knows the laws regarding classified information firsthand. In his private practice, Cuccinelli defended a Marine lieutenant colonel court martialed on charges of possessing such information outside a secure facility. He says Clinton’s actions in the e-mail scandal clearly satisfy all five requirements necessary to sustain charges of mishandling classified material, and constitute a breach perhaps even more glaring than the one for which General David Petraeus was convicted." . . .

Clinton: The Money to Help Americans Pay Their Bills 'Should Come From Those Who Have It'  . . . "In addition to closing tax "loopholes," Clinton endorsed the "Buffett rule," which says anyone who makes $1 million should have to pay a 30 percent effective tax rate.

" 'And then I want to go further, Clinton said. "I want to impose what I call a fair share surcharge on incomes of $5 million or more. Now, there aren't very many of those, but there's a lot of money there because I want to use that money to make college affordable."

FBI's Hillary Clinton email investigation not letting up  . . . "Former FBI officials said the length of the probe is not unusual and speculated that a decision on whether to file charges against Clinton or her top aides could come later this year, during the heat of the general election campaign.
“ 'I don’t know that there’s any magical cutoff date,” said Ron Hosko, the FBI’s former assistant director of the criminal investigative division and a 30-year veteran of the bureau.
"For Democrats, the extended investigation has become a source of some anxiety, with Republicans gleefully raising the prospect of the Democratic presidential front-runner being indicted." . . .

Judge Andrew Napolitano on Hillary Clinton's Nightmare  "Hillary Clinton's nightmare is not the sudden resurgence of Bernie Sanders. It is the fidelity to the rule of law of the FBI.
"The recent revelations of the receipt by Clinton of a Special Access Program email, as well as cut and pasted summaries of state secrets on her server and on her BlackBerry nearly guarantee that the FBI will recommend that the Department of Justice convene a grand jury and seek her indictment for espionage. Here is the backstory."

"It seems that every week, more information comes to light about Clinton's grave legal woes. Her worries are in two broad categories: One is her well-documented failure to safeguard state secrets and the other is her probable use of her position as secretary of state to advance financially her husband's charitable foundation. The FBI is currently and aggressively investigating both. What I will describe below is in the state secrets category. It is apparently not new to the FBI, but it is new to the public." . . .Keep reading
