"SWAT team cordoned off an area surrounding the Carmike 8 theater in Antioch, Tennessee, at 1:13pm on Wednesday afternoon after movie-goers alerted nearby officers to the gunman who walked in wearing a surgical mask.

"A short time later the 51-year-old local man, who has not yet been identified, was shot dead by police after escaping the theater out of the back. Witnesses say the confrontation with officers lasted up to three minutes.

Why doesn't President Obama address the nation about the climate change crisis?

Rarely do American Presidents display the raw willfulness that President Obama did Monday in rolling out his plan to reorganize the economy in the name of climate change. Without a vote in Congress or even much public debate, Mr. Obama is using his last 18 months to dictate U.S. energy choices for the next 20 or 30 years. This abuse of power is regulation without representation.
The so-called Clean Power Plan commands states to cut carbon emissions by 32% (from 2005 levels) by 2030. This final mandate is 9% steeper than the draft the Environmental Protection Agency issued in June 2014.
The damage to growth, consumer incomes and U.S. competitiveness will be immense—assuming the rule isn’t tossed by the courts or rescinded by the next Administration.

On Monday, the publication released Trump's cell phone number in an apparent effort to humiliate him for releasing Sen. Lindsey Graham's number. But, Breitbart.com reported Tuesday, Trump turned the tables, using his cell phone as a tool to get out his campaign message.

" 'Thank you @gawker!" Trump tweeted. "Call me on my cellphone 917.756.8000 and listen to my campaign message." Now, thanks to Gawker, everyone who calls the number can hear Trump's message. We tested the number and sure enough, Trump can be heard telling callers how they can help "make America great." The voicemail box is full, however, so no one can leave a message.
