Former Border Patrol chief claims Biden WH punished him for critical 'feedback': 'I chose to retire instead'

 Fox News

Former USBP Chief Rodney Scott said Biden's trip to the border Thursday was 'for the cameras'

"The former chief of the United States Border Patrol made a bombshell claim Thursday that he was essentially punished for offering "feedback" to the Biden administration that was critical of how it was operating its border control responsibilities.

"Former USBP Chief Rodney Scott observed live coverage of President Biden meeting with current USBP Chief Jason Owens and Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector Chief Gloria Chavez near Brownsville, Texas, and described it as a "photo-op" for the president to appear engaged against the migrant crisis.

"[I]t's for the cameras... I hate to get political, but I believe the reason that the Biden administration is down there is if he got that briefing in the White House, there'd be no cameras. There'd be no show," Scott said on "The Story."

"But they know what it takes to secure the border.  We handed them the most secure border in the history of the United States and and a roadmap to keep it that way and make it even better, [yet] through 94 executive actions, President Biden completely destroyed border security."

EX-ICE CHIEF SCOFFS AT HOCHUL'S SUDDEN OUTRAGE OVER VIOLENT MIGRANTS: ‘POLITICAL COVER’

The Remmys Journalism Nominations: Racist Parking, Joy Reid Barking, and a Slate Gun 'Expert' LARPing

 Brad Slager – RedState

Honoring inept "journalism" everywhere. TD

"In recognizing the dregs of press unprofessionalism, journalistic sloth, and generally deserved media mockery, we have created "The Golden Remington Awards," a nod to the olden days when hard-scrabble hacks committed actual journalism and hammered out dispatches on those hefty wordsmith devices. With an eye to that past of muckraking reporting and shoe leather investigation, we acknowledge those who fail today in an audacious fashion.

"These are the inauspicious nominations, in several categories, for this year’s Remmys.
"Distinguished Explanatory Reporting   Joy Reid - MSNBC

"Get ready, as we already have a leader in the clubhouse for a year-end trophy. On her private video channel, MSNBC’s primetime pontificating pundit wanted to address the recent passage of a bill in Alabama granting protections for frozen embryos created for in-vitro fertilization. Ms. Reid is, by all appearances, aggravated by this and she goes off on a rant for the ages that departs from Normal-ville immediately and reaches Crazy Town in record time. A flow chart is needed to see the various topics she manages to connect in this unhinged delivery.

  • She begins being deeply bothered with protecting IVF embryos

  • Then she asks why Alabama wants more children

  • Then she brings up slavery because pregnancies meant more property

  • This leads to the state wanting children for slave labor

  • And this is said to be done to displace immigrants from that labor

  • Next, it becomes a plot for the Great Replacement Theory

  • And finally, it means there’s a “need” to make more white women have kids, a la “The Handmaid’s Tale”.

"Utter amazement. Her being bothered by more kids is never explained, how she jumps to slavery is her own magic at play, then declaring the state will use kids for labor ignores the illegality - ditto for slavery in general - and then we see she is NOT bothered by immigrants performing what she declared to be slave labor. How she gets to women being forced to carry these embryos is a complete wonder." . . .

Joe Biden Is First Incumbent President to Lose a Primary in 44 Years

Newsweek (msn.com)    "Joe Biden lost the American Samoa Democratic primary to little-known candidate Jason Palmer, becoming the first incumbent president to lose a primary since Jimmy Carter in 1980.

"Palmer's surprising victory tarnished an otherwise perfect night for Biden, during which he scored a string of primary wins across the U.S.

"The Context

"Biden and Donald Trump secured a wave of victories on Super Tuesday with each now the overwhelming favorite to win their respective parties' 2024 presidential nominations, setting up a rematch of the 2020 contest. However each candidate lost one primary, with Trump suffering a surprise Vermont defeat to former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, in addition to Biden's American Samoa loss." . . .

Now THIS is insurrection

America’s Destruction and the Ghosts of Revolutions Past - Vince Coyner . . . "As we watch powerlessly as our great cities devolve into crime-infested dystopian nightmares; George Soros-impelled DAs and prosecutors smile as they demonstrate their two-tiered legal system; the federal government actively subverts efforts to secure the border; cities cut services to citizens and veterans to give illegals billions; schools and hospitals and states empower the brainwashing and butchering of children; and the Uniparty in Washington runs up trillion dollar deficits and sends tens of billions to Ukraine, we begin to recognize what Bezmenov called Normalization.

"A decade ago, Americans of most stripes would have understood that this was a disaster in the making. But now we’re told that all of it is not only normal, but you’re a racist, homophobic, transphobic white nationalist if you disagree with any of it.

"The outcome in November will decide which path we take. The thing to remember when we walk into those voting booths is that Bezmenov and Xi had a place to escape to for freedom: America. We don’t have that luxury. Vote accordingly."

Wasserman Schultz Planning to Resurrect Bill to Ban Trump from Ballot for Insurrection  . . ."Furthermore, Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) provided a comment on the aspect of the resurrection of the legislation.

“ 'I’m still curious: when was there an insurrection? I think that the recent 9-0 unanimous decision by SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the United States) very clearly stated that it wasn’t going to be an insurrection just by its overall ruling to make sure to prove that it was unconstitutional,” said Rep. Mills. “If it was a 14th Amendment issue where they’re trying to say that you can be disqualified which hasn’t happened since 1868 was the last time someone was disqualified. And prior to that, I think it was those who were Confederate soldiers who actually did lead an armed insurrection – armed being the key phrase here.

“Again, I think that they’re trying to run a rabbit hole that’s going to go nowhere. And it’s just for messaging because they realize how bad 2024’s election is going to turn out for the Biden administration, for the Senate which we’re going to reclaim, and also for holding the House. So, they’re still trying to run on the 2020, 2022 talking points because they have nothing new. But the SCOTUS 9-0 unanimous decision I think should put a nail in the coffin for him,” said Rep. Mills.

"Finally, the Florida Republican answered whether Democrats will once again look at packing the high court.

“ 'There’s absolutely no doubt that they will do this." . . .

If Wasserman Schultz and Raskin’s bill receives considerable Democratic support, it is highly unlikely that Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) would consider it for a vote on the House Floor.

If He’s Lost His Wits, Joe Must Call It Quits

Issues & Insights (issuesinsights.com)  "It’s become a political cliché to recall how Virginia’s Sen. William Scott, declared the Senate’s dumbest member by a D.C. rag, called a news conference to deny the charge – thus proving it.

"Until Thursday night.

"That’s when President Joe Biden – confirmed by a special counsel to be a man of “diminished faculties in advancing age” who in interviews couldn’t drudge up when he was veep, when his son died, who his political friends and foes were or his past policy positions – convened a nationally televised presser to refresh the relevance of Scott’s storied screwup.

"Say you ain’t slow, Joe.

"The daft Delawarean’s angry retort to a cutting kickoff quotation from the counsel’s report: “I’m well-meaning, and I’m an elderly man, and I know what the hell I’m doing.”

"As if. The hastily called gaggle dissolved in seconds into a crazed, chaotic, feverish, free-for-all feeding frenzy with the octogenarian as the hapless, helpless red meat.

"The commander in chief’s inability to command the room was the second clue that everything alleged about his mental mush was gospel truth – agreeing to hold the presser being the first.

All multiplied exponentially by his customary combination of tetched and testy demeanor, unsteady steps, groggy gaze, and, of course, foggy flubs – hanging a reference Egypt’s Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as Mexico’s president onto his recent resurrections of dearly departed foreign leaders.

"Ladies and Gentlemen: This. Is. Not. Hard.

"Your correspondent needn’t elaborate on a crystal-clear conclusion the electorate has already long ago reached – including 54% of Democrats.

"If he’s lost his wits, Sleepy Joe must quit." . . .

UN Report: “sexual violence occurred during the 7 October attacks in multiple locations … including rape and gang rape”

 Legal Insurrection (legalinsurrection.com)

Even the United Nations, which is extremely hostile to Israel, now admits to the mass sexual abuse by Palestinians on October 7 and beyond: “With respect to hostages, the mission team found clear and convincing information that some have been subjected to various forms of conflict-related sexual violence including rape and sexualized torture and sexualized cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment and it also has reasonable grounds to believe that such violence may be ongoing.”

. . ."Gaza ‘civilians’ joined Hamas in committing Oct. 7 atrocities, UN team admits

"The UN team acknowledged that Gaza ‘civilians’ joined Palestinian terrorists in committing horrific atrocities on Israelis. Those who breached the “Gaza perimeter fence at multiple points” on October 7 included Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists “other armed elements and armed and unarmed civilians,” the report said.

"The Hamas-led attackers also had “detailed prior knowledge of the targets selected,” the UN found, suggesting large-scale involvement of Gazans with Israeli work-permits. (View the 23-page UN document here.)

"The Associated Press reported the UN finding:

The U.N. envoy focusing on sexual violence in conflict said in a new report Monday that there are “reasonable grounds” to believe Hamas committed rape, “sexualized torture,” and other cruel and inhumane treatment of women during its surprise attack in southern Israel on Oct. 7.

There are also “reasonable grounds to believe that such violence may be ongoing,” said Pramila Patten, who visited Israel and the West Bank from Jan. 29 to Feb. 14 with a nine-member technical team.

Based on first-hand accounts of released hostages, she said the team “found clear and convincing information” that some women and children during their captivity were subjected to the same conflict-related sexual violence including rape and “sexualized torture.”

Based on the information it gathered, Patten said, “there are reasonable grounds to believe that conflict-related sexual violence occurred during the 7 October attacks in multiple locations across Gaza periphery, including rape and gang rape, in at least three locations.” (…)

Across various locations, she said, the team found “that several fully naked or partially naked bodies from the waist down were recovered – mostly women – with hands tied and shot multiple times, often in the head.”

While this is circumstantial, she said the pattern of undressing and restraining victims “may be indicative of some forms of sexual violence.” . . .

Speaking of the "innocent citizens of Gaza", recall Hamas showing large-screen videos made by the cameras on the Hamas fighters and hearing cheers at each incident shown on the screen. TD
