In Powerful Call For Nation To Calm Down, Biden Falls Asleep

In Powerful Call For Nation To Calm Down, Biden Falls Asleep; Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a televised address from the oval office, President Joe Biden called for calm across the nation by falling asleep on national television. Millions of Americans witnessed the leader of the free world slowly nod off mid-sentence and grumble in his sleep as he slowly slipped out of his chair and out of the view of cameras.
" 'This is true leadership," said CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "Biden is calling on all of us to take a deep breath and relax — something we all need right now. A powerful and inspiring statement from the President."
" 'If he can fall asleep on the job then I guess the country is doing great," said Barbara Richfield, 54. "The country must be doing better than I thought."
"Republicans immediately pounced upon the sleeping President. "This is an outrage!" said Tucker Carlson on his nightly show. MSNBC responded by noting that staying awake on the job is one of the classic hallmarks of fascism.
"According to sources, aides placed a tiny bed under the resolute desk because Biden routinely falls asleep while attempting to run the country. Experts say this should be an effective counter to whatever message Hunter is sending by staying awake 3 days at a time."

New California Laws Will Create ‘Ideological Purity Test’ for Police by Banning Ties to ‘Hate’ and ‘Bias,’ Critics Say

Stream

"California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, has signed two bills into law that will limit who is eligible to become a peace officer, even as many cities across the Golden State struggle with police shortages. Critics say the new laws will create an “ideological purity test,” preventing some conservatives and Christians from joining already-strapped police forces.

"Newsom on Sept. 30 signed AB 655, which bars Californians who previously had been members of a “hate group” or involved in “hate group activity” (in the past seven years) from police service. It remains unclear when the law will go into effect.

"The governor also signed AB 2229, which requires applicants to be screened for “bias” before they can join a police force force. The “bias” requirement had been enacted previously in 2020, but mistakenly was stricken from the law in 2021, according to a legislative analysis. According to the law’s text, it went into effect immediately upon signing.

"Although AB 655 uses a strict definition for the term “hate group” tied directly to “genocide,” critics note that the new law also requires agencies to investigate “a complaint made by the public that alleges, as specified, that a peace officer engaged in membership in a hate group, participation in any hate group activity, or advocacy of public expressions of hate.”

"The Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC, has branded mainstream conservative and Christian organizations as “hate groups” and put them on a list with the likes of the Ku Klux Klan, often for reasons that amount to ideological disagreement. (The SPLC did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment.)

"California has a public interest in preventing members of the Ku Klux Klan or other groups that truly advocate oppression and violence from joining a police department. But critics told The Daily Signal that the laws could be weaponized to exclude peaceful conservatives at a time of law enforcement shortages.". . .

Would a Biden Oval Office address be on your must-see schedule?

Biden goes fully delusional, says he got student loan bailout ‘passed by a vote or two’  "This is not one of the lies that Joe Biden likes to spin, this is scary delusional incompetence on the part of a President of the United States. Joe Biden did most assuredly not get a law passed by Congress by any vote when he unilaterally signed an executive order cancelling $10,000 of student loan indebtedness for people earning up to $125,000 a year, and $20,000 for those who received Pell Grants.". . .

. . ."This issue is, to use a phrase recently employed by the inimitable Karine Jean-Pierre, “top of mind.” And since “top of mind” allegedly preoccupies Biden, according to KJP, this means that’s the man has slipped the bonds of rationality and now is living in a fantasy world when it comes to the principal affairs of state.

"Nick Arama of RedState says that it’s “Time for the 25th.” I strongly suspect that if voters decisively repudiate the Democrats on November 8, we’ll see Democrats start to talk about the 25th as they want to distance their own political futures from Biden."

President Joe Biden falsely said he passed his much-ballyhooed student loan bailout package by a “vote or two” even though Congress has not yet voted on it.

“I say this as a father of a man who won the Bronze Star, the conspicuous service medal, and lost his life in Iraq,” Biden said.  Although Biden’s son did serve in Iraq, he died of brain cancer in 2015.

Biden is back to fantasizing, this time about being sought out as a college president

Joe Biden: Republicans ‘Immoral’ for Blocking Transgender Procedures for Children . . .“I don’t think any state or anybody should have the right to do that, as a moral question or a legal question I just think it’s wrong, ” Biden said.

"The president spoke about transgender politics during a NowThisNews forum with young
people aired on Sunday.

"Biden addressed transgender issues with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender TikTok star who documented his transition into a woman on social media.

"Mulvaney brought up Republican efforts to ban transgender procedures for children.". . .

A Beto campaign staffer has big promises for so-called ‘transgender’ kids

Andrea Widburg  "The current Republican administration in Texas is hostile to the leftist efforts to turn children into Frankenstein’s monsters under the umbrella term of “transgenderism.” It’s interpreted its laws to prevent parents from using hormones or surgery to alter their children’s bodies and has ordered Family and Protective Services to investigate parents who want to squeeze their children’s bodies into some sort of weird

simulation of being the opposite of their biological sex. According to one staffer working on Beto O’Rourke’s campaign, though, if O’Rourke becomes governor, that’s going to change.

"Texas has been at the forefront of protecting its children from the gender maniacs. In Texas, according to the state Attorney General’s official interpretation of state law, it is illegal to subject children to sterilizing hormones and other drugs, as well as any surgeries that mutilate children’s sexual characteristics.

"Additionally, in 2021, it passed a law requiring that public school children may compete in competitive school sports only in accordance with their biological gender. Had that law been in place in North Carolina, a high school player would not have sustained a severe concussion when a fake girl (i.e., a boy) on the opposite team sent a ball her way that was estimated to have been traveling at about 70 MPH.". .  .

. . .When Rosen received a call from a Beto staff, he pretended to be the uncle of a 10-year-old boy whose parents failed or were unwilling to recognize that the child was really a girl. After the campaign worker expressed sympathy for the child’s plight, Rosen went in for the kill. "He claimed that he wanted to know whether Beto, if he becomes governor, would protect Rosen if he were to take this imaginary 10-year-old child out-of-state for what the left now calls “gender-affirming care.”

"If the Beto campaign worker were a normal person, she would have asked, “Are you out of your ever-lovin’ mind? First, as an uncle, you should never be able to undermine the parents’ rights. Second, leave that child alone!” But this is a Beto volunteer, so she had a different response.". . .

Biden says he backs 'gender-affirming' healthcare and slams Republicans trying to ban sex changes for children in interview with transgender TikTok activist  "Joe Biden said in an interview with a transgender TikTok star that states shouldn't have the power to regulate any health care related to a person transitioning from one sex to the other.

The president denounced Republican states that have passed laws attempting to ban or limit sex change surgeries and transition treatments – like hormone blockers – for children who identify as non binary or transgender.

"Biden spoke with a panel of six progressive activists for the NowThis News presidential forum on Friday, which aired on Sunday. One of the six panelists was TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney who is documenting their transition from a male to trans woman.

"When asked if red states should have the right to pass laws limiting access to gender-affirming treatments, Biden said: 'I don't think any state or anybody should have the right to do that.'

" 'As a moral question and as a legal question, I just think it's wrong,' the president added.". . .

California court rules in favor of Christian baker who refused to bake cake for lesbian wedding |

Daily Mail Online "Sweet victory! California court rules in favor of Christian baker who refused to bake cake for a lesbian couple in 2017, citing her Christian beliefs - and adds that people 'shouldn't push any agenda against anyone else

  • A California court on Friday ruled in favor of a baker who turned away a lesbian couple who asked her to make a wedding cake in 2017
  • Cathy Miller, owner of the Tastries Bakery, celebrated the new win on Facebook Friday in a post on Facebook thanking followers for their support
  • Tastries Bakery has fought several legal battles now regarding the refusal to bake a cake for a lesbian couple
  • Miller allegedly politely gave the couple an alternative baker in the area to go to for their wedding cake
  • She also said that the situation would have been different if the cake was already made but that the act of making it specifically for them went against her beliefs
  • Judge Eric Bradshaw said in his decision that baking a cake is still protected as 'pure speech' and considered artistic expression ". . .

"A California court ruled in favor of a Christian baker Friday following a years-long legal battle after she refused to bake a custom cake for a lesbian wedding in 2017, citing her religious beliefs.

""We applaud the court for this decision," Thomas More Society special counsel Charles LiMandri said in a statement. "The freedom to practice one’s religion is enshrined in the First Amendment, and the United States Supreme Court has long upheld the freedom of artistic expression."

"Cathy Miller, a cake designer who owns the popular Tastries bakery in Bakersfield, California, won what her lawyers at the Thomas More Society called "a First Amendment victory" when Judge Eric Bradshaw of the Superior Court of California in Kern County ruled against California's Department of Fair Housing and Employment, which had brought the lawsuit against her."

Biden tells age-wary voters he still has stamina, 'passion' to lead but could 'drop dead tomorrow'

JusttheNews.com  "When asked about convincing likely 2024 voters to reelect him, President Biden is suggesting he still has the passion and stamina to lead the country but also acknowledges voters have a right to be concerned about his age and that like others he could get a disease and "drop dead tomorrow."

Biden was asked the question by MSNBC during an interview that aired Sunday.

"I think it's a legitimate thing to be concerned about anyone's age, including mine," Biden responded. "I think the best way to make the judgment is to, to, you know, watch me."

"Biden, 79, is the oldest president in U.S. history. He has faced concerns about his cognitive fitness since before he assumed office.

" 'Everybody talks about the, you know, the new 70 is 50 and all that stuff," he also said in the interview. "I'm a great respecter of fate. I could get a disease tomorrow. I could, you know, drop dead tomorrow.

" 'In terms of my energy level, in terms of how much I'm able to do, I think people should look and say, 'Does he still have the same passion for what he's doing?'"

. . .He continued, “In terms of my energy level, in terms of how much I am able to do, I think people should look and see, does he still have the same passion for what he is doing? If they think I do, then it is fine. If not, they should vote against me.”

Biden added, “I think Aunt Gloria should just take a real, hard look. And if she concludes I am missing a beat, then she should, you know, support some other Democrat if they decide to run. But Jonathan, right now, knock on wood. I don’t want to jinx myself. I am in good health. Everything physically about me is still functioning well, and mentally too. But I understand people wanna ask that question.”. . .

Never-Before-Seen-Footage – Biden Makes His Classic Predator Move On A Toddler And Sniffs Him On The Back – The Toddler’s Reaction Speaks Volumes
 . . ."
President Joe Biden has a pattern of questionable behavior toward women. His reputation is so robust, the incidents so well-documented that they have earned him the longtime nickname of “Uncle Joe” (for his penchant for using folksy, grandfatherly language even with his peers), with the occasional addition of “Creepy” (for routinely invading women’s personal spaces).
"How much does behavior like this really matter to voters? We wanted to find out. U.K.-based market research and data analytics firm YouGov conducted an official online poll of over 1,200 people, weighted to represent U.S. adults, to try and find out what the hell people — not just us, and not just women — really think about things like sniffing a woman’s hair in a professional context. As it turns out, they really don’t like it.
"A whopping 77 percent of those polled think it is completely unacceptable for a male politican to come up behind a woman to sniff her hair. And despite the narrative that older Americans are more likely to excuse behavior like this, 85 percent of Baby Boomers said they think it is completely unacceptable. That’s 15 percent more than millennials.
