Hemingway: If Bloomberg Couldn’t Buy 2020, How Could Russia Buy 2016?

The Federalist Staff  "Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway joined Fox News’ “Special Report” to discuss New York billionaire Mike Bloomberg’s historic level of campaign spending, and what it reveals about the power of media and establishment consensus.

"Hemingway pointed out how Bloomberg’s failed campaign, despite unlimited resources, pokes holes in the popular narrative that Russia helped Donald Trump “steal” the 2016 election.
“ 'We had years where people were saying a couple hundred thousand dollars in barely literate Facebook ads from Russians caused Donald Trump to win. Here you had a guy spend nearly $1 billion and he went nowhere. It’s a humiliating defeat for Michael Bloomberg,” she said.
"Host Bret Baier drilled the point home: “So Russians influenced the election with $200,000, or $300,000 in Facebook ads? And Mike Bloomberg couldn’t get more than 50 delegates with $600 million dollars?”

“ 'And this hurts Bernie Sanders’s message, too, because he likes to say the billionaires control everything,” Hemingway said. “Clearly Bloomberg having all this money didn’t do as much for him as Biden having the media and the establishment behind him. I would pick media and establishment over millions all day.' ” . . .

Trump Administration Reverses Obama-Era Regulation Responsible For Coronavirus Testing Roadblock

“The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing, and we undid that decision a few days ago so that the testing can take place at a much more accurate and rapid fashion,” Trump stated. “That was a decision we disagreed with. I don’t think we would have made it, but for some reason it was made. But we’ve undone that decision.”
Daily Caller  "The Trump administration has rolled back a Food And Drug Administration rule instituted by President Barack Obama that has stalled coronavirus testing at the state level.
The rule in question previously required state-run laboratories to only run medical tests pre-approved by the F.D.A.
"Commissioner Stephen Hahn first addressed the testing problem on Saturday by issuing new guidance that would allow the state labs to conduct not-yet-approved coronavirus testing on patients in response to the public health emergency. In return for skirting the Obama-era regulation, laboratories must apply for an F.D.A. review of the new test, document the test’s accuracy and notify the F.D.A. of the test’s validity prior to F.D.A. completing the approval process.
. . .
"Vice President Mike Pence confirmed to reporters Wednesday that the rule in question had in fact been reversed, and President Donald Trump addressed it during his Wednesday meeting with airline officials at the White House." . . .

"SCHUMER, THE ABORTION LOVING BULLY"

grrrgraphics
Ben Garrison  "During a speech delivered on the steps of the Supreme Court, Senator Chuck Schumer threatened conservative Supreme Court justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. Both were appointed by President Trump. He warned them not to attack a woman’s ‘right to choose.’ In other words abortion. Here is his quote:
“You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You will not know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
"Trump asked that Schumer be impeached for making such a blatantly violent threat. Chief Justice Roberts also denounced Schumer. I doubt anything will happen to him. Democrats such as Schumer are above the law, but even CNN condemned his threat. Of course, they immediately said Trump has said similar things. The president hasn’t—otherwise CNN would have stated them.
"Abortion is at the center of such violent emotionalism on the part of the Senator. Any talk of lessening abortion prompts instant anger from the Democrats, Hollywood, and the mass media." . . .

Der Schumerglower has issued a call for violence against Supreme Court Justices.

(Glower: to look or stare with sullen annoyance or anger; a sullen brooding look of annoyance or anger)

UPDATE:  Chuck Schumer Walks Back Warning To Kavanaugh, Gorsuch Immediately After Facing Criticism From Mitch McConnell  After which he turns it all around to be an attack on Republicans.
Democrats with their bent toward violence against conservatives only needed this permission to act. How much does the Kavanaugh family have to endure? TD

The Supreme Court has become a target   . . . "Schumer's spokesdrone was referring to the fact that, in February, Trump accused Sotomayor and Ginsburg of making statements showing they were biased against him, which Trump contended justified their recusing themselves. Requesting a recusal is a universe away from Schumer’s statement which, intentionally or not, sent a message to Antifa, the armed branched of the Democrat Party in this Second Civil War, to use violence to affect a political outcome.
"The President was appropriately outraged and completely correct in both his diagnosis of Schumer’s appalling action and the price."
There can be few things worse in a civilized, law abiding nation, than a United States Senator openly, and for all to see and hear, threatening the Supreme Court or its Justices. This is what Chuck Schumer just did. He must pay a severe price for this!

:
Sen. Chuck Schumer implicitly threatens violence against Supreme Court Justices
Wayne Dupree:

. . . "The Supreme Court will soon hear June Medical Services v. Stephen Russo, regarding Louisiana legislation requiring abortionists to have admitting privileges to a hospital within 30 miles of the abortion clinic. Democrats are worried because the Court currently has four constitutional conservatives (Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh), four activists (Ginsburg, Sotomayor, Kagan, Breyer), and one squish (Roberts). Democrats are frantic lest the conservatives take the lead, resulting in the Supreme Court placing limitations on abortions.
"It was in this context that Schumer, while speaking at a Planned Parenthood rally outside of the Supreme Court, abandoned the accepted practice of criticizing the justices’ intelligence or impartiality and, instead, implied a call for violence against Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh:  " . . .

Chuck Schumer's abusive tantrum   . .  . "How's that for calling out the crazies and giving them permission to do the justices great bodily harm?  As if they have not suffered enough from the vicious schemes of the pro-abortion left.  Kavanaugh's family will likely never recover from what the Democrat harridans and goons on the Judiciary Committee did to them, and make no mistake: that was all about abortion." . . .

Mitch McConnell to slam Chuck Schumer on the floor of the Senate for 'threatening' Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch over abortion case and accuse Democratic minority leader of misleading by claiming he was telling Republicans they will 'reap the whirlwind'
. . . “ 'We talk about attacks on the official of the presidency,” he said. “On the electoral college, on the First Amendment, on the Senate itself. But most striking of all have been the shameless efforts to bully our nation’s independent judiciary, and yesterday those efforts took a dangerous and disturbing turn.”
"McConnell noted that this attack “was not some isolated incident.”
“ 'The left-wing campaign against the federal judiciary did not begin yesterday, not yesterday,” he said, reminding his colleagues that during the impeachment trial of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Warren and others attacked Chief Justice Roberts for “staying neutral instead of delivering the outcomes that they wanted.” . . .
Little did this family know what venom is to come their way at the hands of Democrats. Dem Rep. Ayanna Pressley among them

Rather than leaving well enough alone, a spokesman from Schumer’s office accused Justice Roberts of taking Schumer’s remarks out of context (though I’m not sure how they figure that, they were plain enough), and of “following the right wing” in the process.
Trump Calls For ‘Serious’ Action To Be Taken Against Schumer For ‘Threatening’ Justices  How dare the Republicans select justices for the Supreme Court? I do hope Republicans take over the House Judiciary once more.

"Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) announced Wednesday night he plans to file a censure motion against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for threats he made against Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh at a pro-choice rally in front of the Court as inside the justices heard arguments on a Louisiana abortion law case, June Medical Services LLC v. Russo." . . .
I would call on Schumer to apologize, but we all know he has no shame. So tomorrow I will introduce a motion to censure Schumer for his pathetic attempt at intimidation of
Even Republican RINOs criticized Der Schumerglower:
"Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) condemned Schumer, saying, “I agree with Chief Justice Roberts. These statements by Senator Schumer are outrageous.”. . .
"Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) criticized Schumer, “A reprehensible threat from Senator Schumer is followed by a laughably illogical prevarication. What ever happened to truth and a simple apology?”

Bernie could have learned to like you, Mike

Issues & InsightsDemocratic Fools And Their Money  "A
fter being trounced on Super Tuesday, Michael Bloomberg announced that he was “suspending” his campaign. He joins fellow billionaire Tom Steyer in the quitters’ camp.
"It makes you wonder how these two succeeded in business when they are so utterly incompetent at selling themselves or their ideas. It also underscores how shrewd billionaire Donald Trump was in 2016.
"Bloomberg built his entire strategy on winning big on Super Tuesday. His pitch to voters – in a series of endlessly repeated ads – was his competency. He was a self-made billionaire, he got things done, he was a proven leader, he was best suited to beat Trump.
"Yet all Bloomberg had to show for his hundreds of millions was a win in American Samoa.
"Even someone as arrogant as Bloomberg could not ignore how disastrous his plan turned out to be. Think about it: Bloomberg spent $464 million of his own money to win a grand total of 64 delegates. That works out to $7.2 million per delegate.
"Another way to look at it: Bloomberg spent nearly $300 for each vote he got. That’s enough to buy every one of his supporters a Luger 9 mm pistol, or almost 4,000 rounds of AR-15 ammo.
"Bloomberg hasn’t done much better with the money he’s plowed into other candidates." . . .

Joe Biden says he’d want Michelle Obama to be his running mate

NY Post  . . . Biden responded: “They’re both incredibly qualified people and they’re such decent, honorable people.”
"The pairing would be a first in American politics; there has never been a presidential ticket that included a former first lady in the VP slot.
"This isn’t the first time Biden had mentioned the idea of the former first lady being his running mate or the former president being on the Supreme Court." . . .
Sorry about the ad first.

First Lady Melania Trump: I Am Proud of How America Empowers Women…
By way of contrast.

Stop and think for a minute, Joe...
Michelle Obama not proud of America again  (2016)  . . . "Today, she apparently feels that 62 million Americans who voted for Trump have disgraced themselves again through voting for the end of hope.
"What makes Mrs. Obama's declaration so odd is that whether or not Donald Trump can deliver on his wildly ambitious aims, more than anything, his message to a discouraged nation is one of hope.  To the 90 million able-bodied Americans who have given up looking for living wage jobs due to Obama's economic policies, Trump says, have hope!  To a decimated and demoralized military, Trump says, we're going to fix it, buh-lieve me.  To a nation suffering under the Obama administration's hypocritical machinations to admit hundreds of thousands of illegals through broken borders, Trump offers hope for the restoration of a nation of laws.
"Dozens of Americans have been murdered by illegals.  Michelle Obama expressed no hope to Kate Steinle's family that such brutal crimes would stop.  Kate was collateral damage in the Obamas'  campaign to recolor America; as such, Michelle Obama would never express compassion for Kate's grieving loved ones.  The first lady's disinterest in white children, evidenced by her invitations and efforts, was pointed.  Her inclination to favor black institutions, causes, and guests and to avoid schools and settings representing the actual make-up of Americans was marked.  Michelle Obama never became a first lady for all the American people, the people she was not proud to symbolize in the first place." . . .

Getting back to Biden:  "Glenn Reynolds made an astute comment about Joe’s appearance, which is familiar to all of us who have seen our loved ones fade away:"
