FBI determines Bubba Wallace was not victim of hate crime

There is no joy at CNN, but there is still an issue.

Youtube   "Michael Wilbon joins SportsCenter to react to the FBI determining that NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace was not the victim of a hate crime, and that the pull rope fashioned like a noose that was found in his team's garage at Talladega Superspeedway had been there since 2019." . . .

Project Veritas Wall of Shame   "Welcome to the Project Veritas 'Wall of Shame', a place where blue checkmark mainstream media "journalists" reputations go to die. The 'Wall of Shame' is the place where we post retractions that these "journalists" have had to print over the years about James O'Keefe or Project Veritas. To date, over 300 "journalists" just couldn't stick to the facts in their reporting and were forced to print the glorious retractions you see here. Enjoy."

What Happens When the Madness Ends?

"Today’s corporate revolutionary enthusiasts had better prepare for the inevitable turn."

Victor Davis Hanson  "When something cannot go on, it certainly will not go on. But what are the symptoms of what cannot go on and when?
"There are two historic red lines and our revolution is getting close to both.
"When Normal People Grow Weary
"One is when “average” people, both white and nonwhite, who identify neither with Left nor Right, woke nor unwoke, become frightened or appalled by the violence and the anarchy—and thus finally move to dismantle the guillotine as the razor increasingly starts haircutting friends, idols, and compatriots.
"Their verdict can be known either by demonstrating themselves, boycotting, voting, or massive civil disobedience. At some point, tonight’s hero on YouTube torching Wendy’s or kicking a downed policeman on CNN, becomes tomorrow’s commonplace, unnoticed felon—with a new warrant issued out on his head, and about whose fate and lengthy CV no one other than his parents much cares.
"Governors and mayors can demand masks and all sorts of social distancing measures. But once they declared that only those not demonstrating—the non-looting and nonviolent—were subject to their rules, while millions both peacefully protesting and violently looting were exempt, then their words meant nothing. It will be impossible for them ever to be seen as credible again. Virus or no virus, crowded freeways, and busy malls will soon be referenda on the bond of governors like Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer.
"In a few weeks, we are promised that multimillionaire NFL players and coaches in unison will not deign to stand up for the National Anthem. Promises, promises.
"TV play-by-play announcers will praise them—or else likely lose their jobs. But millions of Americans simply will decouple from the NFL. Their silent disappearance will make the prior Kaepernick drop-off in attendance and viewership seem like child’s play. The same will be true perhaps of the more canny NBA, if they foolishly emulate the NFL. Millions will surmise that billionaire basketball players can far better make their billions in China and should—an NBA deity whose dictatorship players and coaches fear and worship while criticizing their own democracy." . . .

Today’s opportunist virtue-signaler will be tomorrow’s gullible fool. Tonight’s brave looter and edgy arsonist will be tomorrow’s matter-of-fact felon.

Appetite for Destruction: Lincoln, Grant, Churchill statues coming down, Lenin going up

Are there original thoughts in the heads of these millennials?

Will O'Toole of Otoons;  O'Toons
Appetite for Destruction: Lincoln, Grant, Churchill statues coming down, Lenin going up  "Statues and monuments to some of the most important Western historical figures of all time have been summarily defaced and destroyed in recent weeks, including those of Columbus, Washington, Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, and Winston Churchill.  None of these figures had a damn thing to do with the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, but that shouldn't surprise anyone because the wanton destruction of symbols of the West's past has nothing to do with the killing of Floyd, either.
"Columbus "discovered" the New World and died well over 100 years before the first slave ship came from Africa to America.  Washington was one of the most principled men who ever lived and was "The Father" of the country that has done more to advance human freedom than any other.  Lincoln saved that country while freeing the slaves.  He directed a war effort that saw nearly 350,000 Union troops die...in part to put an end to slavery — and died a martyr himself.  Grant defeated the Confederacy, trashed the Ku Klux Klan, and fought to protect the newly won rights of black people in the years after the war.  Churchill stood alone in the West against the Third Reich and its Nazis for over 17 consecutive months.
"So what is the orgy of anarchy and destruction about?  It is nothing short of a planned assault on the West and the values it used to hold so dear.  It is a Marxist insurrection hoping to bring about the end of the U.S. — and the West — as we knew it.  It is anti-capitalist, anti–rule of law, anti-Christian, and anti-freedom.  The leaders of Antifa and BLM have openly admitted this.  Even if they hadn't, it is abundantly clear to see for any sentient being connecting the dots.  It is also utterly racist, classist, and intolerant." . . .

How Long Will the Vandals Run Amok?   . . . "We erect statues to remember, revere and honor those whom we memorialize. And what is the motivation of the people who tear them down and desecrate them?
"In a word, it is hate. A goodly slice of America's young hates this country's history and the men who made it. It hates the discoverers and explorers like Columbus, the conquistadores and colonists. It hates the Founding Fathers and the first 15 presidents, all of whom either had slaves or coexisted with the injustice of slavery. But hating history and denying history and tearing down the statues of the men who made that history does not change history." . . .
