Time’s Up CEO Praises Biden After Declining to Aid Accuser Tara Reade

Formed during the #MeToo movement to help victims of sexual assault with legal fees and public relations, the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund declined to assist Reade in her case against Biden, claiming his presidential candidacy would threaten its nonprofit status

Washington Free Beacon  "An organization created to help victims of sexual assault—but declined to aid Biden accuser Tara Reade earlier this year—is now praising her alleged assailant.
"Time's Up was created to support victims of sexual assault but declined to assist former Biden staffer Tara Reade, who accused the presumptive Democratic nominee of forcibly penetrating her in 1993. The organization's CEO, Tina Tchen, who worked alongside Biden as a top official in the Obama White House, lauded Biden for his "transparency" in a Friday interview with MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle.
" 'Biden has called for full transparency, he's called for records to come out—that's what needs to happen every time these issues come up, and I would suggest that it needs to happen with other candidates who are running for president," Tchen said shortly after Biden broke his silence on the network.
"During his MSNBC appearance Friday morning, Biden repeatedly rejected calls to release documents from his Senate career, which are currently sealed at the University of Delaware and may include records related to Reade. Biden said the archive does not contain "personnel records by definition" but added that he would not release the documents because they could include policy positions that would become "fodder in a campaign at this time." He also refused to conduct a more specific search of the documents for any mention of Reade's name, saying, "There is nothing.… I don't understand the point you are trying to make." . . .
. . .
"A National Archives spokesman disputed Biden's assertion, telling the Washington Free Beacon that it does not handle such records. "Any records of Senate personnel complaints from 1993 would have remained under the control of the Senate. Accordingly, inquiries related to these records should be directed to the Senate," the spokesman said."  . . .

South Dakotans Throw Parade for Gov. Kristi Noem After Media Attacked Her Over Non-Lockdown

Stacey Matthews

“We just felt bad that the leadership of our state was kind of getting lambasted. In South Dakota when somebody’s getting discouraged or down on their luck, we step up for each other,” said John Morris of Morris Inc. construction company, who organized the parade.

"Like many other Republican governors who didn’t fall in line with the mainstream media’s “lock everything down” solution for every state in response to the Wuhan Coronavirus crisis, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has been heavily criticized for not following their one-size-fits-all approach for how to combat the spread of the virus.

"The Washington Post was among the many national media outlets including CNN to blame Noem last month for a virus outbreak that happened at the Smithfield Foods plant in Sioux Falls." . . .More...

President Trump confronts CNN’s Jim Acosta: Your network ‘tormented’ General Flynn—I hope you report his ‘total exoneration’

Lifezette
There's no denying that the president is right that what happened to Flynn is shameful, and he is owed an apology by both the FBI and CNN for what happened to him.
. . . President Donald Trump just let loose on CNN reporter Jim Acosta on Thursday, calling him out for the way his network treated General Michael Flynn.

President Trump fired Flynn just after he took office for admitting to lying to Vice President Mike Pence and the FBI about discussions with Russian officials on sanctions, according to The Blaze. This week, new information has come to light showing that the FBI agents who met with Flynn had done so with the intention of getting him to lie.

.@CNN doesn’t want to speak about their persecution of General Michael Flynn & why they got the story so wrong. They, along with others, should pay a big price for what they have purposely done to this man & his family. They won’t even cover the big breaking news about this scam!President Trump fired Flynn just after he took office for admitting to lying to Vice President Mike Pence and the FBI about discussions with Russian officials on sanctions, according to The Blaze. Naturally there are opinions on that Biden-MSNBC interview

Andrea Widberg: Biden's interview with Mika looked okay but was, in fact, a train wreck    . . . Biden looked unusually alert and tracked fairly well for most of the interview until he got tired and confused (at the 14-minute mark).  More disturbing than that were the misrepresentations and elisions that made it appear as if he were answering the questions when, in fact, he wasn't.  Most surprisingly, Biden insisted that it would be better for him if nobody could see his records before the election.
Biden began by doing what he had to, which was unequivocally denying that he assaulted Reade: . . ."

Ethel C. FenigTurns out Biden does not 'believe all women'
. . . "That is why he cluelessly nominated his old Democratic pal from the Senate, Chris Dodd (Conn.) to be part of his vice presidential vetting team.  Yes, that Dodd, who with the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) squeezed a petite waitress between them for a senatorial sandwich.
"It all leaves Tarana Burke, one of the founders of the #MeToo movementconfused. "

Guess Who the NYT Wants to Investigate Tara Reade's Sexual Assault Allegation Against Joe Biden  Yes! The DNC! What could go wrong?: "This editorial board, however, is delusional if they believe the DNC will give Tara Reade a fair shake. They've done everything to cover for Biden since he announced his campaign last year.". . .
"This editorial board, however, is delusional if they believe the DNC will give Tara Reade a fair shake. They've done everything to cover for Biden since he announced his campaign last year. They ignore the dozens of times he's conveniently "forgot" important information, like what office he's running for, what state he's in or even how many grandkids he has." . . .

My take is that Lynda LaCasse isn’t a terribly politically sophisticated person which I think helps explain the vagueness of some of her comments about Biden. But her memory of what Reade told her 25 years ago seems clear and full of detail.  We’ve seen what happens to witnesses that disappoint the left. I wonder if there will be a campaign to harass Lynda LaCasse.

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace: ‘The Right Running A Smear Campaign Against Joe Biden

Biden Wasn’t So Silent When It Came To Charges Against Bloomberg  . . ."He continued his currently hypocritical pummeling of Bloomberg in a tweet, “You think that women, in fact, were ready to say, ‘I don’t want anybody to know about what you did to me.’ That’s not how it works. The way it works is they say, ‘Look, this is what you did to me’ and the mayor comes along and his attorneys say, ‘I will give you this amount of money if you promise you’ll never say anything. That’s how it works.”

Sanity prevails as federal judge slaps down Megan Rapinoe’s fake ‘equal pay’ lawsuit

2017: FC Dallas under-15 boys squad beat the U.S. Women's National Team in a scrimmage

Washington Examiner  "On Friday, sanity prevailed in federal court after a judge finally slapped down soccer star Megan Rapinoe and the U.S. Women’s National Team’s sham "equal pay" lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation. The decision has sparked widespread backlash, but when you set all the identity politics and outrage-mongering aside, it’s clearly correct based on the facts.
"Federal Judge R. Gary Klausner considered the USWNT’s “equal pay” claim alleging that the women's team faces sex-based pay discrimination compared to the U.S. men’s soccer team. He found it so baseless that he dismissed it without allowing it to proceed to trial. He did allow a few claims related to travel conditions to proceed, but the equal pay claim was the heart of the lawsuit, and it was rejected out of hand.
“ 'The statements offered by Plaintiff [USWNT] are insufficient to establish a genuine dispute that [female players] are paid at a rate less than the rate paid to [male players],” the judge wrote in his decision. “Defendant [U.S. Soccer] has presented evidence that the [USWNT] was paid more on both a cumulative and an average per-game basis than the [men’s team].”
"Cue the hysterical outrage.
"True to her faux-victim style, Rapinoe tweeted, “We will never stop fighting for EQUALITY” in response to the decision. Teammate Ali Krieger said, “We will continue to fight like hell and get what we deserve.’ " . . .
