Christian heroes will arise only when the Church challenges young men to be great

We are in the middle of an epic war, fighting against monstrously evil things. It is time for Christian men to achieve the impossible.

 Doug Mainwaring, LifeSiteNews

Catholics talk about membership in the mystical Body of Christ, but very few feel and experience that oneness and sense of purpose that pro-abortion, BLM, gay and trans activists, Marxists/progressives feel and experience in pursuit of their missions. For them, it’s always about oneness and solidarity with victims—and saving victims with their grandiose plans and schemes.  They burn with passion to savebut in reality, they impoverish, kill, and destroy.

"In his recent video presentation titled, “Message to the Christian Churches,” Dr. Jordan Peterson thundered: “Ask more, not less, of [the young men] you are inviting. Ask more of them than anyone ever has!”

“Remind them who they are in the deepest sense and help them become that,” said the celebrated psychologist. “You’re churches, for God’s sake. Quit fighting for social justice. Quit saving the bloody planet. Attend to some souls — that’s what you’re supposed to do. That’s your holy duty.”

“Do it. Now, before it’s too late,” he urged.

"Peterson’s plea is prophetic.

"The left — mostly huddled under the umbrella of the Democrat Party here in the U.S. — has the worst beliefs, the worst creed, on Earth. But what we must appreciate is that they shout their beliefs from the housetop by every means available. They never give up, they never back down, while Christians speak in mostly subdued tones with hushed, apologetic voices.

"The “Woke” are not ashamed. They are brazen carnival barkers peddling the worst ideas and practices known to man:  communism, abortion, transgenderism, same-sex marriage, homosexuality, and racism tidily wrapped up in identity politics and Critical Race Theory.

"And while they unashamedly broadcast their inhuman, Luciferian messages night and day, Christians speak mostly to each other, not the world. And we do so softly, delicately, always ever-so-vigilant not to offend or to sound too zealous.

"Here’s the thing: If anyone is going to change the world for the better, it is Christians, not leftists. Not the “Woke.” Not the social justice warriors. They are lunatics and monsters who defend infanticide, the genital mutilation of children, and the sexualization of young children by cross-dressing men prone to suicide. They promote the very things in which the demon world delights. "   Full article here.

11 Democrats who could replace Joe Biden in 2024 - CNNPolitics

* Elizabeth Warren: The Massachusetts senator is still popular among liberals -- and wouldn't be splitting the vote with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders this time around like she did in 2020.
    * Amy Klobuchar: Other than Buttigieg, the Minnesota senator was probably the best regarded of the losing candidates in 2020 -- and her Midwest roots are always a plus given the electoral map.
    * Roy Cooper: Term-limited out of office in 2024, the North Carolina governor has ample time to consider his next step -- starting with his service as the vice chairman of the Democratic Governors Association.
    * Mitch Landrieu: Being tasked with implementing the infrastructure bill is a big (and high-profile) job that the former New Orleans mayor has taken to with relish.
    * Gina Raimondo: She made the leap from Rhode Island governor to Biden administration commerce secretary but doubts remain as to whether she is too moderate to win a Democratic primary in this moment.
    * Gretchen Whitmer: The Michigan governor needs to win what could be a tough reelection race next year before she can turn to considering a national run in earnest.
    * Phil Murphy: The record of New Jersey governors running for president isn't great of late (sorry, Chris Christie!) but Murphy could use the next few years of his governorship as a testing ground for some national policies for the party.
    * J.B. Pritzker: Pritzker has two things going for him -- 1) He's the governor of a major Midwestern state (Illinois) and 2) he's very, very rich.
    * Stacey Abrams: Abrams talked openly about running in 2020 before passing on the race; but she needs to win the Georgia governor's mansion in 2022 before thinking too much about 2024.
"The Point: If Biden decides not to run, chances are we would be looking at a very crowded field of Democrats seeking to replace him."

Why We Can't Have Nice Things: 'Good Samaritan' Who Saved Indiana Mall Goers Is Denounced as No Hero

    Tony Branco

RedState  "What makes someone a hero? How about a Good Samaritan? Evidently, such questions are contentious.

"And a Sunday incident has some insisting a brave bystander shouldn’t be celebrated.

"At the Greenwood Park Mall in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Area, a man opened fire. As reported by Deseret News, 20-year-old Johnathan Sapirman got off 24 rifle rounds.

"Tragically, three were murdered: Victor Gomez, 30; and couple Rosa Rivera de Pineda, 37, and Pedro Pineda, 56. Two more were injured: a 20-year-old female shot in the leg; and a 12-year minorly wounded by a deflected bullet.

After entering the mall, Sapirman headed straight to the bathroom and was there for over an hour before exiting the bathroom and opening fire.

“The most puzzling piece…was the amount of time that he was in the bathroom,” [Chief James Ison] said. “We believe he was getting ready.”

"But the man’s plans were thwarted because more than bad guys carry guns. Elisjsha Dicken, 22, stopped the mass shooter’s spree.

Footage…showed that Dicken shot 10 rounds from his handgun, while motioning for citizens at the mall to exit behind him.

"Chief James has praised Elisjsha’s intervention:

“Many more people would have died last night if a responsible, armed citizen hadn’t been present…”

"On Sunday evening, the chief compared Elisjsha to a biblical character. He did so again Monday:

Howie Carr: Enduring Biden’s corruption and incompetence

Boston Herald  "It’s Weekend at Biden’s now that Dementia Joe is back in the USA after what will likely be one of his last visits to anywhere other than his second assisted-living facility on the Delaware Shore.

"Brandon’s junket this week to the Mideast was so catastrophic that even state-run media could no longer ignore his senile babbling.

"After stumbling off Air Force One, he vowed to “keep alive the truth and honor of the Holocaust.”

"He meant to say, “horror.” Just as he was supposed to read “hallowed” when he slurred out “hollowed ground.”

"But there was so much more, and as usual, all dialogue guaranteed verbatim.

"At least twice he called the Israeli prime minister “Mr. President.” He referred to “Palestinian counties.” He discussed the “United Avrab Ememirates.”

"He referred to the birth of Christ as “God’s great grift to the world.” To be fair, grifts are something all the Bidens understand.

“ 'At the same time, the Israeli uh the Israilty of today is not the Is Israel of 50 years ago.”

"Can we quote you on that, Mr. President?

"And then there are the Arabs he absurdly compared to the Irish under British rule, although no Irish ever vowed to drive their colonial oppressors into the English Channel, the way the Palestinians want to destroy “the Zionist entity.”

“ 'The Palace the Palestinian people are hurting now you feel uh you can just feel it.”
