Top Retired Officers Are Right: Biden’s Leftism And ‘Woke’ Military Threaten U.S. Security
Issues & Insights "Military officials are trained to stand silently on the sidelines of politics,
saying nothing but what relates to their mission, whatever it might be. But a recent open letter signed by 124 former flag-level officers warning of the dangerous effects of our nation’s sharp sudden turn to the left overturns that tradition. What do they know that the rest of us don’t?"The letter was not couched in military jargon or bureaucratese; it was plain-spoken and blunt in its concern about America’s course. It starts with a call for protecting our free and fair elections, but then turns toward the ominous political and cultural trends of recent years. No need for a translation:
Aside from the election, the current administration has launched a full-blown assault on our constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing Congress, with more than 50 executive orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous administration’s effective policies and regulations. Moreover, population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and, most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental rights. We must support and hold accountable politicians who will act to counter socialism, Marxism, and Progressivism, support our constitutional republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing while focusing on all Americans, especially the middle class, not special interest or extremist groups which are used to divide us into warring factions.
"They warned about the negative trends in a number of areas, ranging from our increasingly open borders and social media exercising control over speech, to Joe Biden’s return to the fatally flawed Iran nuclear deal and the failure to protect the rule of law." . . .
"The letter somberly noted that “our country has taken a hard left turn toward socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government which must be countered now by electing congressional and presidential candidates who will always act to defend our constitutional republic. The survival of our nation and its cherished freedoms, liberty, and historic values are at stake.' ”. . . Full article
Hate to break it to you, but Major League Baseball just got even worse
The most galling aspect of all this is that it implies that your typical baseball fan is part George Wallace and part Robert Byrd, who were proud Democrat racists. I'd venture to say I've been in attendance at more MLB games than Commissioner Manfred in my lifetime, and MLB's supposition that its fan base is racist and needs a Maoist re-education is outlandish.
American Thinker "Major League Baseball has gone from a Field of Dreams to a dystopic Field of Nightmares.
"Coming off the All-Star Game P.R. debacle, where they moved the game out of Atlanta, MLB is upping its radical chic several notches with its latest political advocacy.
"On the anniversary of George Floyd's death, MLB highlighted its social justice initiatives, which are a series of suggested readings, video viewings, and social justice activities that it recommends people do. Nothing like giving your customers a homework assignment. And they wonder why people find baseball less fun these days.
"As you can imagine, the suggestions they give are real humdingers. For instance, they advise we read Dr. Ibrahim X Kendi. Kendi is a totalitarian utopist who is popular on the P.C. lecture circuit. He believes that capitalism is inherently racist and advocates for a Department of Anti-Racism.
"What would the DOA do? you might ask.
"In his own words, they would "be responsible for preclearing all local, state and federal public policies to ensure they won't yield racial inequity, monitor those policies, investigate private racist policies when racial inequity surfaces, and monitor public officials for expressions of racist ideas. The DOA would be empowered with disciplinary tools to wield over and against policymakers and public officials who do not voluntarily change their racist policy and ideas." So much for the land of the free. The DOA would also be empowered to investigate private businesses and monitor speech. Best of all, DOA officials couldn't be fired, not even by the president." . . .
Media at its worst
CNN Executive Admits Pushing 'Propaganda' about Matt Gaetz: 'He's Bad for Democrats' "A CNN executive has admitted in an undercover sting that the far-left "news" network is pushing "propaganda" to smear Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) because he's a "problem for the Democratic Party."
"CNN's technical director Charles Chester unwittingly told an undercover journalist that the network routinely pushes "propaganda" as part of an "agenda" to hurt Republicans and help Democrats.
CNN has given Gaetz's political woes plenty of coverage, particularly on "Cuomo Prime Time" where anchor Chris Cuomo has been reporting on the latest developments extensively while avoiding the growing scandals plaguing his older brother, Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. For his part, Andrew Cuomo has had nine women come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct. . . .

Our Legacy Corporate Media Is Full of Liars and Propagandists
The collapse of the narrative on the Wuhan virus lab-leak theory ought to be the final straw for these people.. . .
"And what was that narrative?
"That the lab-leak theory was nuttery. It was a conspiracy theory. It was a racist lie.
"And why? Because President Trump, who had access to more information on the subject than most people thanks to his job, correctly identified the lab-leak theory as the most likely explanation for COVID-19’s release into the public.
"Now, the legacy corporate media who suppressed that theory for a year have abandoned their efforts and are beginning to catch up to the members of the general public capable of logical analysis. And their explanation for having suppressed it all this time?" . . .
"You Think? Lemon Wonders If CNN ‘Overinflates’ QAnon, Election Conspiracy Theorists in GOP"
"Lemon was discussing with co-hosts Brianna Keilar and John Berman how the media should cover both President Trump and fringe conspiracy theorists within the GOP such as those who follow QAnon. Having his own Captain Obvious moment, Lemon wondered if CNN spent too much time obsessing over the former president, and election conspiracy theorists within the extremes of the Republican Party:" . . . "Facebook also targeted Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA) and more than 100 other elected officials who voted against certifying the 2020 presidential election. The company will reportedly no longer provide political donations to the elected officials in what appears to be another distasteful attempt at punishing anyone aligned with Trump." . . .
