Joe DiGenova has advice for all 81 targets of House Dems’ ‘fishing expedition’ on Trump: ‘Everyone should take the 5th…’

BPR  "Former federal prosecutor and Fox News contributor Joe DiGenova tore into the Democratic Party for the sprawling probe of President Donald Trump that not only targets his administration and campaign, but also goes after the president’s family members.

"Appearing on “The Story,” where host Martha MacCallum reminded viewers that the Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee “uses language to remind everyone this is the committee that launched Watergate” and that “it’s clear” they are heading toward impeachment, DiGenova said those who received document requests should refuse to respond.

“ 'This is a perjury trap,” DiGenova insisted. “It is not a legitimate investigation, it’s a fishing expedition. They are trying to get people up there to make them look bad so they can try to make the president look bad.”

"He also said Carter Page “is the last person who should talk to them,” saying he was framed by the FBI in an attempt to use a FISA warrant to go after the president.

“What the committee is going to try to do with Carter Page is make him look like he was a Russian spy when he wasn’t so they can dirty him up and refer him to the Justice Department for perjury,” the former prosecutor said.

" 'No one should talk to this committee,” he added. “Everyone should take the 5th and if everyone takes the 5th, the American people will understand that this isn’t a legitimate investigation. It’s political theater and disgraceful conduct approved of by the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.”
"And make no mistake, President Trump is the ultimate target." . . .

2020 Dems Avoiding Red, White and Blue Colors

Tony Branco
Frontpage  "Unsurprising.

"The Dem base consists of people who would rather burn an American flag than hug one.
"These are primaries which means that the lefty fringe will be overepresented(sp) and red, white and blue will just trigger them. Plus the hipster design studios they'll be relying on are stocked full of the same people. Add on the fact that the rest of the base will lean heavily toward tribal demos and it's a sure thing.

Of the now 14 different Democratic candidates officially running for office in 2020, just four have what might be considered "traditional" logos incorporating the red, white, and blue of the American flag. The rest of the presidential hopefuls have branded their campaigns with hues of "liberty green" to hot pink to vintage yellow. And as each of their future lawn signs serves to prove, this crop of candidates is appealing to a new demographic of voters, and turning the tide on a dated portrait of America. (Emphases in the original)

"Or, more accurately, on America.

"The alternatives though are seventy shades of ugly. Vintage faded colors straight from the seventies make everything look like an Instagram filter from hell. I don't think Biden will go this route, but you can count on much of the 2020 field looking like an old album cover, which will hand Trump the logo victory by default." . . .

Media Magic: How a Democrat Pedophile Became a 'Trump Scandal'

Ann Coulter    "Strangely, the media have suddenly taken an intense interest in the case of pedophile and
 major Democratic donor Jeffrey Epstein.

"In 2005, the Palm Beach police were told by the mother of a young girl in West Palm Beach that her daughter had been brought to the Democratic donor's mansion and asked to have sex with him for money. This kicked off an intensive, one-year undercover investigation.

"The police sifted through Epstein's garbage and interviewed 17 witnesses, including the housemen, who told of sex toys and dildos left behind after the underage girls left. One of Epstein's procurers, a 20-year-old local woman named Haley Robson, who was paid $200 for every teenaged girl she brought to Jeffrey, was cooperating with police, telling them she was like "Heidi Fleiss." They obtained statements from five of Epstein's young victims, who said they'd been paid $200 to $300 to engage in various sex acts with him. Police raided Epstein's home, finding explicit photographs of teenaged girls, incriminating phone records -- and one girl's high school transcript.

"But when the police chief brought this mountain of evidence to Palm Beach County's Democratic prosecutor Barry Krischer, he punted, charging the Democrat child molester with only one count of soliciting prostitution -- yes, the child victims were labeled "prostitutes" -- and offered Epstein probation.

"Perhaps Krischer was exhausted, having just spent three years hounding Rush Limbaugh for abusing back pain medication.

"Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter exploded in rage. (Meanwhile, Epstein claimed to be the victim of an anti-Semitic conspiracy on Palm Beach.) Chief Reiter wrote an open letter to Krischer asking the Democrat to remove himself from the case. Then he turned to the Bush administration to seek justice against a Democratic donor/accused child rapist.

"As stories go, a child sex case involving a Palm Beach billionaire was pretty big. It was covered in the British press, in Florida media, at The New York Post and at Fox News. Bill O'Reilly led with the story on his Fox News show.

"But CNN and MSNBC did not breathe a word about a Democratic prosecutor refusing to hold a Democratic child rapist accountable." . . .

Democratic National Committee rejects Fox News for debates, citing New Yorker article

MSN

Fox News anchors Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier, right, and Chris Wallace, left, moderated the first Republican presidential debate in Cleveland in 2015.
"The Democratic National Committee has decided to exclude Fox News Channel from televising any of its candidate debates during the 2019-2020 cycle as a result of published revelations detailing the cable network’s close ties to the Trump administration.
"In a statement Wednesday, DNC Chairman Tom Perez cited a story in the New Yorker magazine this week that detailed how Fox has promoted President Trump’s agenda. The article, entitled “The Making of the Fox News White House,” suggested that the news network had become a “propaganda” vehicle for Trump.
“ 'I believe that a key pathway to victory is to continue to expand our electorate and reach all voters,” said Perez in his statement to The Washington Post. “That is why I have made it a priority to talk to a broad array of potential media partners, including Fox News. Recent reporting in the New Yorker on the inappropriate relationship between President Trump, his administration and Fox News has led me to conclude that the network is not in a position to host a fair and neutral debate for our candidates. Therefore, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the 2020 Democratic primary debates.' ”  . . .  Full article here.

After Ted Cruz's pushback on the CNBC moderators, did you notice the glee showing on Carl Quintanilla's face?

The Republican debate on CNBC was supposed to be about the economy; instead it became a debate about media bias as candidates fought moderators over dishonest questions and cynical attacks.

How can anyone now trust Bloomberg News?

Don Surber

North Korea News Service
"Mike Bloomberg, the owner of Bloomberg News, released a column that discredits any political coverage by his business news company because he called the President of the United States a threat to Our Nation.
"In so doing, Bloomberg made his a Fake News organization.
"Bloomberg has that privilege. He owns the company. But he flushed decades of trust down the drain.
"How can any journalist cover President Donald John Trump fairly and accurately when his company's owner made it very clear to his news gatherers and editors that President Trump is the enemy.
"Here is what Bloomberg wrote: " . . .

National Border Patrol Council President: There is a NATIONAL EMERGENCY On Our BORDER -- Here's PROOF

Socio-Political-Journal...

"As a 21-year front line veteran Border Patrol agent and president of the National Border Patrol Council, I'd like to put to bed the false notion that there is no national emergency on the United States/Mexico border. I hope facts will do the trick.
"Since November of 2013, I've been called upon to give expert Congressional testimony about various aspects of border security on 18 separate occasions. I've testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, the Senate Judiciary Committee, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, the House Judiciary Committee, and the House Committee on Natural Resources.
"This is important because during every hearing regarding border security at which I testified in 2014, Democrats claimed the United States was in the state of a humanitarian crisis at the border. While Republicans agreed with the notion of a crisis, they argued it was one of immigration loophole exploitation.

"DEMOCRATS BLOCK TRUMP'S BORDER EMERGENCY, BUT THEIR ACTIONS ARE OUR ACTUAL NATIONAL EMERGENCY

"Regardless of the underlying reasoning, both parties acknowledged a crisis at the border.
"Oh the hypocrisy.
"While a plurality of Democrats claimed a humanitarian border crisis in 2014, they’ve changed their tune in 2019. Using political rhetoric instead of facts, those same Democrats are claiming that there is no crisis today except in President Trump’s mind. But a simple apples-to-apples numbers comparison reveals their hypocrisy." . . .

Why not Alexandria O-C for Fed chairman? (Chairwoman? Chairperson? Chairbeing?)

Has it occurred to anyone that if we get rid of the Electoral College those electing the President will be those who gave us AO-C and Bernie Sanders? TD

Is there a method to the madness of the Green New Deal?  "Radical firebrand Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has teamed up with Senator Edward Markey, a leftwing political dinosaur from Massachusetts, in presenting a resolution in Congress for support of AOC's Green New Deal.  The tedious details of this deal are here."

Hillary lets the NY Times know that she didn’t really mean it when she said she wasn’t going to run for president

Thomas Lifson  "A day after telling a local New York television station, News 12 Westchester, “"I'm not running, but I'm going to keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe," Hillary Clinton seems to have had second thoughts. Someone (my guess is Hillary herself) told New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman that she didn’t really mean it:" . . .
"Watch her statement on camera and decide for yourself if “she wasn’t trying to be emphatic”:"

. . . "My guess is that she was a bit surprised and upset at the speed with which sighs of relief were heard from most Democrats – not just the contenders for the nomination, but across the board, including the rank and file. She is rightly afraid that she is now relegated to has-been status, someone who can be ignored. The comment on John Kerry reveals the jealousy and fear she feels that other Democrats may eclipse her in prominence, influence, and the ability to command speaker’s fees and raise money.

"This is a woman who, after all, has lusted after power her entire adult life, ever since studying Sail Alinsky and taking on the role of agitator, and then discarding it for power-wielder instead." . . .

Vice President Hillary Clinton?  . . . "Since HRC has covertly managed to position herself as the bread and butter of the DNC, it is unlikely that any 2020 Democratic presidential candidate would refuse her if she made the request to be a running mate.  I am predicting that is exactly what she has done or will do.

"If, and it’s a big if, the campaign is successful, Clinton would still get her coveted title as “First Female,” in this case first female Vice President.  She would also be first in line for the seat of President if anything unfortunate happened theoretically to the Democratic President.  Certainly, she does have a history filled of unfortunate happenings to people in her inner circle." . . .
Will history compare Clinton with British Prime Minister Lady Margaret Thatcher as much as I do?
