HAMAS BREAKS CEASEFIRE 15 minutes after it started

 Barenakedislam (barenakedislam.com)

When her mouth opens her face disappears

The Hamas savages broke their ceasefire agreement with Israel 15 minutes after it started today. Sirens went off in southern Israel just minutes after the ceasefire.

"Newsweek The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has reported that unspecified Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip violated a nascent ceasefire after only 15 minutes, telling Newsweek it intercepted a rocket fired towards southern Israel.
"Rocket sirens sounded in the evacuated southern Israeli towns of Kissufim and Ein HaShlosha early on Friday morning, shortly after a four-day ceasefire came into effect that will allow a prisoner exchange and the delivery of humanitarian aid into the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip.
“ 'There was a rocket and it was intercepted,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit told Newsweek of the reports, noting it was fired at 7:15 a.m. local time; 15 minutes after the ceasefire—which the IDF is calling an “operational pause”—came into effect."
"According to reports the hostage release was scheduled for 4 PM Israel time which is 9 AM ET. That has also passed without the arrival of Jewish children taken hostage on October 7 by the Hamas barbarians."

"It’s time to impose a moratorium on the allocation of public funds to non-profit organizations in the United States that support Hamas, the designated terror organization responsible for the Oct. 7 massacre that resulted in the murder of more than 1,400 Israelis. Not only is the organization an inveterate enemy of Jews, Israel, and the United States, but Hamas also currently holds at least nine American citizens hostage in the Gaza Strip."...

We are all Hostages

 Phyllis Chesler Organization

Psychologically speaking, the media, college professors, the United Nations and the surging swarms in the streets have projected the atrocities committed by Islamic terrorists onto Jews and the Jewish state.

"The global jihad has abused and slaughtered Jews and non-Jews across the West.

"Every Jew, both inside and outside of Israel, has been held hostage for 40 days. In the Holy Land, Israelis—Jews, Christians, Muslims and Druze—have been bombed, kidnapped, tortured, murdered, forced into bomb shelters and cast into internal exile.

"Because Israel has dared to fight back, Jews around the world are being “punished” for Israel’s alleged “crimes.” Jews everywhere are being verbally harassed, demonized, threatened, physically attacked and sometimes murdered. Visibly Jewish students no longer feel safe in their classrooms, at gatherings or on the street in Europe, the United States, Canada and beyond.

"The Jewish state was created to protect Jews from their 2,000-year-old vulnerability to pogroms and genocide while in exile. The existence of that very state is now being used as the excuse for a monstrous “intifada” against all Jews in the West. It is driven by the lethal propaganda against Israel that has been disseminated for at least 60 years. It may take that long to drain this swamp of lies.

"But, as ever, this is far bigger than the Jews.

Right now, more than one billion Westerners are being surrounded on their streets and in the media by the war cries of “Allahu Akbar.” Everyone, everywhere has been held psychologically and often physically hostage by the “globalized jihad.”

"Traffic has been stalled. Visible Jews have been physically attacked. Anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian rallies, marchers and random ranting individuals have frightened or attacked passengers on buses and trains with their aggressive propaganda.

"When will the West wake up to the fact that we and our way of life are under siege?

"From both a jihadist and Western leftist point of view, killing the Jews will redeem the West’s sins of racism, imperialism, colonialism and slavery. Indoctrinated Westerners refuse to acknowledge that the West is not the only or even the major sinner in world history.

"Muslim countries have a very long history of gender and religious apartheid, anti-black racism and black slavery, imperialism, colonialism, conversion via the sword and more. I doubt that destroying the only democracy in the Middle East—Israel—will liberate Muslim women from being forcibly veiled or honor-killed." . . .

Israel’s ‘Trophy’ Tank Protection System Takes The Prize

  Issues & Insights

Twenty years later it had a system ready to deploy. Trophy achieved international prominence during the 2011 combat versus Hamas. Currently Hamas is using a new anti-tank guided missile launcher that launches two missiles a short time apart in hopes of overwhelming Trophy. The results remain to be seen.

"Protection from attacking threats is a constant game of measure and countermeasure that has been going on for millennia. Its technological sophistication ratcheted up during World War I, when tanks were first deployed as a means of breaking the stalemate of trench warfare and the futility of massed infantry attacks. Those early tanks had to protect mainly against machine gun bullets and artillery-shell fragments, so less than a half-inch of steel armor protection was sufficient.

"But as soon as they were deployed, opposing forces responded by firing bigger guns and using artillery as a direct-fire weapon. Tanks then evolved, in turn, to having as much as three inches of steel armor in the frontal sector. This protected the occupants from all but the very largest guns. But not from shaped charges.

"Shaped charges are wonders of science. They are based on the “hollow charge principle,” which in America was discovered accidentally by Dr. Charles Munroe at the Newport Naval Torpedo Station when a TNT block with the manufacturer’s name indented in the charge accidently went off on top of a sheet of steel. The indented letters acted as hollow areas in the TNT and produced deep indentations in the steel resulting in a mirror image of the letters in the steel plate

"That led to the design of a shaped charge as shown here with three explosive charges sitting on steel billets; the first charge having a flat bottom, the second having a conical indentation, and the third having an indentation with a thin metal liner. Upon detonation, the explosive gases and molten metal form a high-velocity jet capable of punching through many inches of steel armor. Optimization of this effect soon led to small weapons such as the bazooka and the rocket propelled grenade (RPG) that allowed even dismounted infantry troops to wield high-penetration tank-killing weapons. And larger weapons, such as anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), fired from vehicles or ground mounts, were completely unstoppable." . . .

Why be a Republican?

  Don Surber (substack.com)

But then again, I do not understand the Republican Party’s sneering at hardhats, factory workers and other hourly wage earners.

Mitt Romney the Weathervane

"David Harsanyi wrote a column, “The Populist Right Is Leading The GOP Into Irrelevancy.”

By populist right, he means Trump supporters who in his eyes are the whole basket of deplorables.

"He wrote, “Since the GOP’s populist turn in 2016, the party has steadily lost ground in the suburbs and among independents. They have not had a single positive election cycle since. And the electoral failures of 2023 are just another instance of the mythological populist realignment undermining their prospects.”

"His argument is that everything should have gone the Republican way but they did not. He does not blame a party leadership that hates Trump supporters and did everything it could to sabotage Trump candidates. Instead he blames Republican voters who want jobs (or as they mockingly say on South Park, jerbs because those working-class losers cannot even pronounce the word, right?).

"Harsanyi wrote, “Other than some platitudes about Bidenomics, what was the GOP’s economic message? They don’t have one. The right’s misplaced obsession with ‘working class’ voters has led to a watered-down, leftist approach to the economy that creates a muddled, incoherent rhetorical mess on an issue Republicans should be dominating.

“ 'In most places, the working class is shrinking, and the middle class keeps growing. People are moving out of the Rust Belt to Nevada and Florida, and yet a big chunk of the GOP is reluctant to press on tax cuts and deregulation for fear of sounding too much like Reagan — the worst sin one can apparently commit these days.”

"I don’t know why he believes Republicans hate Reagan, but then I don’t talk to the Republicans he talks to. He still has a problem with Trump’s surprising defeat of Hillary, blaming Republican woes today on the only Republican victory in the last four presidential elections.". . .

The evil that is Hamas and those who enable them around the world

Biden Officially Attempts to Remove God from Thanksgiving with 2023 Proclamation | The Gateway Pundit | by Rachel M. Emmanuel, The Western Journal   . . ."As a nation founded on Judeo-Christian values, this disturbing omission shows how far we have strayed from the original spirit behind America’s national day of Thanksgiving.

"The pilgrims who celebrated the first Thanksgiving in 1621 were devout Christians fleeing religious persecution. Their celebration followed a brutal first year in the New World, where nearly half their population perished. Despite unimaginable hardship, their faith remained unshaken. They credited God for sustaining them and bringing them their first successful harvest.

"This theme carried through the centuries, with presidents honoring God in their Thanksgiving proclamations. George Washington implored all Americans to acknowledge God’s “providence,” and to “unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations.' ” . . .

"Baby-killers"? Does their anger include the hamas burning of infants in ovens? The beheading of children?

“Not just killed, barbarically mutilated and gang raped” (barenakedislam.com) "Witnesses describe brutality of assaults on Israeli women and girls during the Oct. 7th massacre by Hamas terrorists."

"The video was posted by StopAntiSemites with the statement, “HORRIFYING- the home of AIPAC’s President was targeted by pro Palestinian radcials (sic) who ignited smoke bombs outside of his residence and proceeded to spill red paint, signifying blood. What’s next? The burning of Synagogues and schools like in 1939 Germany?' ”

Biden speaks with forked tongue on Israel and Ukraine - The Punching Bag Post

The United States faces an existential threat from the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the Hamas attack on Israel.  The national security and world leadership of the United States hang in the balance of those two conflicts.

First Hostages Released by Hamas Cross Out of Gaza –

No it doesn’t, at least not according to CNN’s “US official” source. It looks more like Biden’s tireless determination to keep hostaging a vital strategy for Hamas. It adds to the perception that Biden is applying pressure tactics on Israel to withdraw from Gaza and end the war while leaving Hamas enough capability to attack again.

Shani Louk, sadly, is a hostage who was slain, not freed.

HotAir  "The first day of the Israeli-Hamas operational ‘pause’ has apparently delivered what it promised. For the first time since Hamas’ gruesome October 7 massacres, the violence has largely ceased — for now, even in southern Lebanon as Hezbollah has decided to pause unilaterally.

"And as promised, the Hamas terrorists have released 13 hostages from the 10/7 attacks in exchange for 39 Palestinian prisoners — women and children in both cases:" ...

Today’s deal is a testament to the tireless diplomacy and determination of many dedicated individuals across the United States Government to bring Americans home.

"So what’s next? Hamas leader says they will abide by the ‘truce,’ but that its aims have not changed:. . ."

Tlaib and the Turncoats

Sad to say, but establishment Jewish groups, like a number of conservative groups, do not use the pressure tactics of the activist Left, which work a lot to change public opinion (or at least stifle opposing views) and move elected officials in their direction.

Ken Reid - American Thinker  "Ardent anti-Israel Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D) thanked and praised one of the anti-Zionist Jewish groups that violent assaulted the Democratic National Committee headquarters on Capitol Hill on Nov. 15, where six officers were injured and Tlaib’s Democratic colleagues had to be whisked away by police for their safety.

"She told a Nov. 20 organizing webinar by the group If Not Now:  “As someone who is the only Palestinian American in Congress, when I am looking through and see you doing all of this,  it makes me march on floor a little bit stronger.  When I go on the house floor, despite being censured, your group makes me feel I am not alone.”

"Tlaib made no mention of the more than 200 Israeli and international citizens, including infants, who Hamas took hostage in its Oct. 7 assault on Israel, nor the more than 1,200 Israelis killed including decapitated babies and girls sexually mutilated at a kibbutz outside Gaza

"But she said:

“One day, I pray that everything we are doing, my grandmother will be able to pick her olives and figs in a free Palestine.”

. . ." Along with the presidency, Republicans could capitalize in House districts if pro-Israel moderate Democrats are defeated by extreme socialists, if the GOP handles this with the correct candidates.

"As such, GOP control of Congress and the White House in 2025 could temper the madness the far Left has stoked in this country, including anti-Semitism.  So there may be a silver lining in this cloud."

The fourth annual Hoax-of-the-Year awards!

 Eric Utter - American Thinker

A nip is in the air, frost or snow is on the ground, trees stand decorated in living rooms, and eggnog is in the refrigerator. Yes, it is that time of year again. Time to reveal the Fourth Annual Hoax-of-the-Year Awards! So grab a cup of your favorite cheer, take a seat by the fire…and read on.

. . ." As usual, there are a number of continuing hoaxes that deserve mention, such as The Any Number of Illegal Immigrants Make the Country Better and Richer Hoax. However, this hoax, stupefying as it is, may be on its last legs. Even some Democrats seem to be sobering up in this regard.

. . ."One hoax, not specific to 2023, deserves special mention: The World Is Rapidly Warming Because Of Gasoline-Powered Lawnmowers and Bovine Belches Hoax. This hoax has been around so long, it came hard on the heels of the 1970s The World Is Rapidly Cooling and We Are All Soon to Be Frozen Hoax. Remarkably, this hoax has been in existence longer than those who promulgate it told us the planet would last, even in the face of evidence that refutes their own “logic.” Therefore, I hereby recognize its longevity by granting it a Lifetime Achievement Award. (I reached out to Al Gore and Greta Thunberg, but, sadly, neither were available to receive the award.)

"This takes us to The White Supremacists Are Everywhere Hoax. Look, there’s one now! Oops, sorry, that was just Joy Behar." . . .

. . ."A part of me wanted to pick a fresher hoax, one uniquely associated with 2023. While this isn’t entirely true of the hoax I chose, it does seem like 2023 finally brought it to the forefront. So here it is, the Hoax-of-the-Year for 2023: The Any Number of Illegal Immigrants Make the Country Better and Richer Hoax. This is clearly not true of invasive species, and it is no less true of humans in general. Legal immigrants who wish to assimilate and work to make the country better are generally a blessing, a net positive. The indolent, the drug and human traffickers, the violent criminals, and those simply looking for a handout, are not. And no claims otherwise by “experts” or politicians can change that fact."

When The Dean Tore Down Posters Of Kidnapped Israelis -

  The Lid (lidblog.com)

The spirit of indifference to Jewish suffering, exemplified by M.I.T. Dean Lobdell tearing down Jewish anti-Nazi posters in 1934, lives on today—both among those who tear down posters of Jewish hostages and among university officials at M.I.T. and elsewhere, who seem incapable of unequivocally acknowledging the victimization of the Jews, without any ifs, ands, or buts.

"Controversy has erupted on American college campuses and elsewhere over anti-Israel who was putting up one of the posters. In addition to the college students who have torn down the posters, the vandals have included an attorney from the New York County public defender’s office, a Boston dentist, an employee of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a professor at the Michigan Ross School of Business.

In addition to the college students who have torn down the posters, the vandals have included an attorney from the New York County public defender’s office, a Boston dentist, an employee of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a professor at the Michigan Ross School of Business.

"It’s bad enough when seemingly respectable people, such as attorneys or professors, engage in reprehensible behavior. But what about when a  dean at a university is the one committing the vandalism?

"An incident of this nature occurred in Boston many years ago, but it sounds like something from today’s headlines–and its lessons are as relevant as ever.

"During the 1930s, several prominent American universities cultivated friendly ties with Nazi Germany. Prof. Stephen Norwood described in his book The Third Reich in the Ivory Tower how those schools invited Nazi representatives to speak on their campuses, participated in student exchange programs with Nazi-controlled universities, and sent delegates to Germany to take part in celebratory events at those institutions.

"The fact that German universities had purged their Jewish faculty members and hosted book burnings did not deter friendly overtures from schools such as Harvard, Columbia, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.)." . . .

Why Hamas Can Rightly Be Compared To Nazis: The Similarities Are Undeniable

The discovery of an Arabic-language copy of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” in a Gaza apartment last week helps provide the answer.

. . ."Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was wrong to call US border facilities “concentration camps,” and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was equally off base when she labeled advocates of Covid vaccines “medical brown shirts,” which references Nazi stormtrooper uniforms. Abortion is not another Holocaust.

"The reason such comparisons are wrong is that they severely distort the facts, both by implicitly minimizing Nazi atrocities and wildly exaggerating the actions of whomever the current name-callers happen to be targeting.

"But when a comparison is valid — when a contemporary villain does something which indeed reaches the levels of Nazi barbarism  — then it needs to be acknowledged.

"And that’s why this time, it’s different.

"The Oct. 7 Hamas pogrom in southern Israel has changed everything — including aspects of our public discourse.". . .

Nearly a century after its release, Hitler’s manifesto of antisemitism and violence is still being used to kill Jews as effectively as ever.
