Meet the Gaza-Raised Grandson of a Munich Terrorist Running for Congress

In 2012, Campa-Najjar was an Obama campaign deputy regional director. After Obama’s victory, Campa-Najjar was rewarded by Obama’s Labor Department: he was chosen to serve as head of the Office of Public Affairs of the Employment and Training Administration. . . .
PJ Media

"Meet Ammar Campa-Najjar, a 2018 primary candidate for California’s 50th Congressional District. According to his website, he’s just your run-of-the-mill southern California Democrat.

"He’s a gun-grabber from the word go, utterly dedicated to a woman’s right to murder the fruit of her womb, and celebrates the full range of possible psycho-sexual unions, including, generously, the one likely to bear such fruit. He favors Medicare for all without a hint of how to pay for it, and he demands the total abolition of any meaningful border between California and the drug cartels.

"Born and raised in San Diego, Campa-Najjar had a fairly conventional upbringing -- if you consider a four-year sojourn in Gaza part of a normal childhood. When his neighbors began to make things a bit too hot, Campa-Najjar and his Mexican-American mother decided it was time to return to the land of effete decadence, the Hotel California.

"Campa-Najjar wants to run against the ethically challenged (investigated by the FBI for campaign finance abuse), rock-solid conservative (ACU rating: 97%) Republican Duncan Hunter. " . . .

Differences between Trump and Clinton considered

I cannot, in good conscience, make light of any infidelity to his wife, but recall how the left defended Bill Clinton and cheapened those with whom he had trysts while calling for Trump to be impeached.
The thought of being a James Carville makes my skin crawl, but if Mr. Trump had been a Democrat all this would have been,as liberals like to say, "just sex".  TD
.
Trump and Clinton: The difference that matters  "The left is making a big thing of an alleged affair between Trump and a porn queen over a decade ago.  Each side points, with some justification, to the other's hypocrisy.  Morally, there's little difference between Bill Clinton's dalliances with Monica Lewinsky and what Trump is accused of.  But the other differences are many.

"First, Clinton provably did what he was accused of doing, whereas there is no proof that Trump did what he's accused of.  Second, Clinton was in office, while Trump was a private citizen.  Third, the "power differential" between a president and an intern cannot be overstated; there was no such differential between Trump and his accuser.
"Fourth, there is good reason to suspect that Clinton crossed the line with other women while in office, some against their will.  Trump has done nothing of the sort in office.  Lastly, there is good reason to believe that Clinton actually raped a woman before ascending to the presidency whereas Trump has no such accusations against him.
"We must recognize that there is a serious difference between Donald Trump and Bill Clinton.  In a single year, Trump has proven himself loyal to America, even if not necessarily loyal to his wife.  Bill Clinton was loyal to himself and no one else.  He and his wife – they are one – have done more harm to America than perhaps any president not named Barack Obama." . . .

Bill Clinton is a sex-addicted 'monster' who mocked Hillary Clinton by calling her 'The Warden' in front of friends and privately boasted about his high notch count, according to his long-time mistress and childhood friend Dolly Kyle.
She remembered one conversation she had with Bill, when they discussed Wilt Chamberlain's famous claim that he had slept with 20,000 women.'And Billy and I were talking about that, and he said 'Hmm. That's 10 times more than I've had,' said Kyle. 'He had this admiration and maybe a bit of jealousy in his voice when he said that.'

"The pair's (both pictured above in their high school yearbook photos) relationship ended in 1990 when Bill Clinton allegedly threatened to 'destroy' Kyle if she spoke to the media about their relationship, Kyle says"

Mike Pence goes for the jugular with anti-Christian Joy Behar

Monica Showalter  "Vice President Mike Pence is considered a gentleman. He's someone who stays out of the spotlight, says quiet and sensible things, steers clear of controversy, plays by the rules, follows Christian principles, seems neat and orderly, and comes off as an all-around nice guy. It's easy to see him as a duplicate of President George W. Bush, who let the left run roughshod all over him for his gentlemanliness, and out of decorum, never let out a peep. Even when Hugo Chavez smelled sulfur, hollered 'donkey,' and spewed filthy race-tinged rape-fantasy rants against then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Bush kept silent. All out of respect for the office, or something like it. Chavez knew he'd do nothing and repeatedly got away with it, knowing the rest of the left would cheer.

"President Trump's election showed it doesn't pay to be that kind of gentleman - it pays to fight.
"Thank goodness Pence is on the same page. After leftist television host Joyce Behar questioned his sanity for professing his Christian faith, his supporters, who watch that kind of TV, were up in arms. And Behar was forced to apologize to him privately, for going overboard and being such a pig.
"Pence wasn't interested. He directed her to speak to the real people she had insulted: all Christians.

"Behar, of course. didn't. But with his move, he laid the pressure on her, and there is remains as her viewers go the way of the NFL's viewers.
"Pence's move was a good one because it showed that the man had more fight in him than Bush, and wasn't afraid to be who he was. No, it's not gay people who have problems being "who they are" these days, it's Christians.
"It's the big problem in the Christian community these days. Not even the pope wants to admit he's Christian, it sometimes seems. Christianity is embarassing, socially unacceptable, too hard, all that dreck, never anything worth standing up and fighting for these days. But Pence didn't back down and that sets a good standard.
"And in doing this, he made it just a little easier to be Christian. Hollywood culture and people like Joy Behar, have gotten away with putting Christian beliefs down for decades. Now with Pence's leadership and viewer anger, working in tandem, the cost of that just went up for the intolerant.
"Thanks, Mike Pence."

But do not go on her TV show, Mr. Vice-President; these ladies speak in applause lines and have the "Applause"sign on their side.

Maxine Waters Vows Legislation On Reparations If Dems Retake Congress

BlazingCatFur

"The simple fact that the Democratic party hasn’t already ousted crazy old Auntie Maxine and locked her up in the political attic is proof that her demented ravings are sanctioned at the highest levels.

Reparations!  . . . "Since the election of President Trump, there has been none more unhinged that Maxine Waters with her conspiracy kookiness, impeachment obsession and most of all, her racist ranting that were similar things to come out of the mouth of a white politician, would ruin their career.

"Waters was in rare form once again as part of the party contingent that made the annual pilgrimage to Selma, AL to commemorate “Bloody Sunday” and the civil rights movement.
"Rep. Waters added something new to her repertoire and it just happened to be caught on video."

2020 Presidential Hopeful Kamala Harris Supports Oakland Mayor’s ICE Raids Warning

This seems to indicate California Democrats anticipate the vote of illegal immigrants. TD

Legal Insurrection

“I think Mayor Schaaf is doing exactly what’s in the best interest of her community, and I support that 100%.”

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) appeared on MSNBC’s All In with host Chris Hayes Wednesday night to discuss Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ speech on California ignoring the nation’s immigration laws and likening it to nullification. Harris warned that it’s not a good idea for Sessions to bring up Civil War history and said his credibility is “pretty shot” on those issues.
Hayes prompted the comments from Harris when he brought up Sessions’ reference to “slave states in nullification and secession” in denouncing California for evading federal immigration law. (Editor’s note: Sessions actually said: ‘There is no nullification. There is no secession.’ He then invited “any doubters to Gettysburg, and to the graves of John C. Calhoun and Abraham Lincoln.” There was no abject overtures to slavery and reconstruction.)
“Attorney General Sessions compared California’s actions quite intentionally I think, to be actions of the slave states in nullification and secession and the Civil War. What do you say to that?” Hayes asked.
“Indeed, indeed he did. Listen, as far as I’m concerned Jeff Sessions should be advised and I’ll advise him right now that — that it is — it — it’s a bad idea for him to start talking about anything to do with the history of slavery or reconstruction or the Civil War in the United States. His credibility is pretty much shot on those issues. But on the topic at hand Chris, I think Jerry Brown is absolutely right,” Harris responded.
"Harris’ presidential aspirations in the United States may be hobbled by her ignorance of things like the U. S. Constitution, presidential pardons, the Bill of Rights, American history, and the federal government’s role in immigration law and enforcement."

How much would you charge to ruin the state of California?

"At one time, California was the envy of America, attracting people from around the nation to move to a state offering opportunity and the chance to pursue ambitious dreams. With scenic beauty, the Pacific Ocean coastline, the major cities of San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco, California recruited entrepreneurs looking for economic growth. As the home of Hollywood and multitudes of celebrities, California presented an enticing potential to enjoy“lifestyles of the rich and famous.”

"Today, California has become an economic and cultural disaster. The state is home to over 114,000 homeless people, one quarter of the total in the nation. In San Francisco, a health crisis has developed as the homeless have created a mess in the downtown area, littering it with fecal matter, spent needles and piles of trash.

"The droughts have led to misguided water regulations imposed by environmentalists and liberal government bureaucrats. These officials also love to burden state residents and corporations with higher taxes. As a result, people and businesses are fleeing a state beset with too many regulations, tax rates that are not competitive with neighboring states and an array of other insufferable liberal policies. Even a sizable portion of the film industry has moved from Hollywood to other states offering tax incentives and a better business climate.

"California officials have implemented high tax rates to fund an array of expensive services for an ever-growing population of illegal aliens. Their statewide elected politicians, such as Governor Jerry Brown, support open borders and sanctuary status for illegal aliens. In fact, the entire state has become a sanctuary for those who break our immigration laws." . . .

San Francisco Bay Area coffee shop will not serve police  . . . "Why don't they just hang a sign on the door – "Half-price latte for all armed robbers"?
"Their stated reason for not serving police: for the "physical and emotional safety of our customers and ourselves."  That's very nice, I'm sure, but you have to wonder if some of the servers aren't armed themselves, considering the neighborhood and the clientele.  Otherwise, I have a feeling that if they are robbed, any patrol cars in the area will find something more important to do – like getting a cat out of a tree." . . .

"Hasta Muerte Coffee is a new cafeteria operated collectively by people of color, where the workers are owners. We are committed to nurturing the community while serving the best coffee. We will serve sandwiches and we will have a library of specialized books, we hope to provide a warm and inclusive environment for friends and neighbors to meet. We believe in work spaces without hierarchies, quality coffee and community building."

Cost for California bullet train system rises to $77.3 billion  . . . "The rail authority also said the earliest trains could operate on a partial system between San Francisco and Bakersfield would be 2029 — four years later than the previous projection. The full system would not begin operating until 2033." . . .

Two Opposing Black Views of America

Lloyd Marcus, The Unhyphenated American  . . . "With only nine months of education, Clarence's grandfather never saw himself as a victim.  He never knew his father, and his mother died when he was 7.  His grandmother, who was a freed slave, took him in.  And then she died.  His uncle, a hard man with 13 kids, took him in.  And yet Clarence's grandfather never complained.

"Whenever young Clarence wanted to complain, his grandfather would say, "You have to play the hand you're dealt."  Clarence's grandfather became a great businessman, including owning his own farm.
"Justice Thomas has a bust in his office with his grandfather's favorite quote: "Old Man Can't is dead.  I helped bury him."  Justice Thomas said that is the mindset his grandfather grew up with.
"Isn't Justice Thomas's self-reliant mindset far superior to and more empowering than bitterly viewing oneself as a victim, placing one's success or failure in the hands of someone other than himself?  Justice Thomas marveled that he grew up in a world of total illiteracy only to find himself in the Library of Congress.  Justice Thomas is expressing the greatness of America, folks.
"Why isn't Justice Thomas's grateful and hope-filled vision of America, a land ripe with opportunity, being touted by civil rights activists, inspiring black youths to make right choices to become all they can be?  Instead, leftists demand that black Americans view themselves as victims.  I choose to live in Justice Thomas's America."

Yet another view of America:

New York Times trying to rehabilitate Al Sharpton
Trust me; this guy is no Ben Carson, Clarence Thomas, Lloyd Marcus, nor Allen West. TD
. . . "Feigning balance, the article covers Sharpton's support of Tawana Brawley hoax, calling it:
... the worst thing he's done: His loud support of Tawana Brawley, an African-American teenager whose claims of abuse and rape by a gang of white men turned out to be a hoax.
"While his support for Brawley was bad – and even worse was his refusal to pay a judgment against himself for libel, absurdly claiming poverty and that he didn't even own the suits he  wore – Sharpton has actual blood on his hands for provoking two fatal race riots in New York City." . . .

Bill and Hillary: Today's Julius and Ethel Rosenberg?

Of course, the "torrid love affair" was between others and not Bill and Hillary.

William F. Marshall
In his sentencing statement, Judge Irving Kaufman noted: "In the light of the circumstances, I feel that I must pass such sentence upon the principals in this diabolical conspiracy to destroy a God-fearing nation, which will demonstrate with finality that this nation's security must remain inviolate[.]"
"The Clinton Conspiracy has everything one could ask for in a Cold War spy thriller: high politics; disinformation; a torrid love affair between two central co-conspirators; a key Russian-speaking Stalin apologist operative using a ham radio, apparently, for furtive communications; a patriotic senior government official learning of the illegal operations and blowing the whistle; and even the attempted overthrow of a sitting U.S. president.  The problem, of course, is that this isn't fiction.

photo added, TD
. . . Julius recruited other communist sympathizers into his espionage ring, including William Perl, who provided the complete design plans for America's first jet plane, the Lockheed P-80 Shooting Star, along with wind-tunnel data on the F-86 Sabre, which enabled the Soviets to accelerate their development of second-generation jet fighters.  Julius also obtained and passed to the Soviets the complete plans for a missile proximity fuse, an advanced version of which was used by the Soviets to shoot down Francis Gary Powers's U-2 spy plane years later.  Julius also recruited, via his wife Ethel, her brother David Greenglass, who was working at Los Alamos on the Manhattan Project, as well as another U.S. nuclear scientist, Russell McNutt.  For the latter recruitment, Rosenberg earned a $100 bonus from his Soviet paymasters.
. . .
. . . "The U.S. presidential election lies at the heart of our republic.  Putting aside the Uranium One scandal, Hillary's and her cohorts' attempt to undermine that election is as serious an attempt to "destroy our God-fearing nation" from within as has ever been attempted in our history.  Everyone involved in that plot should face a punishment that will "demonstrate with finality that this nation's security must remain inviolate."  Bill Clinton's role in the Uranium One deal was its own kind of treachery."

Trump Pardons Sailor Who Invoked ‘Clinton Defense’ in Trial

What Trump Can Learn from Madeleine Albright About North Korea Talks

Bloomberg

"Take it from someone who accompanied that secretary of state on a humiliating visit to Pyongyang in 2000."

The next few episodes of the Donald Trump show should be riveting. This week, the South Korean national security adviser announced North Korea's dictator Kim Jong Un invited Trump to meet to negotiate his nuclear weapons. The "dotard" may face off against "little rocket man" face-to-face. Stay tuned.
If indeed the unprecedented meeting comes to pass, it will be historic. That does not mean though that it will be wise. And unless Trump comes to these talks to negotiate the terms of Kim Jong-Un's surrender and abdication, the cost America will pay in legitimizing the warden of the Korean prison state will outweigh whatever empty promises are offered. But given that Trump is a man who adores distraction and adulation, we should brace ourselves for the upcoming spectacle.

So Trump should prepare. This does not mean late-night wonk sessions where Trump masters the details of North Korean medium-range missiles and past diplomatic agreements. Rather, the president should get in touch with the last senior American official to travel to Pyongyang, Madeleine Albright, to learn from her mistakes.

I was on that trip with Albright in the last week of October 2000. It was a low moment for American diplomacy, where a secretary of state, whose family fled the Iron Curtain, flattered an imitator of Josef Stalin. She ended the visit by handing over a basketball signed by Michael Jordan. Her delegation enjoyed elaborate multi-course banquets with North Korean officials who only a few years earlier had presided over a famine

"As secretary of state for President Bill Clinton, Albright traveled to Pyongyang in a last-ditch effort for an administration that had watched its main foreign policy priority -- a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians -- unravel. This was a chance in the final months of the Clinton presidency for a legacy."Needless to say, it didn't work." . . . Keep reading

Madeleine Albright’s Other ‘Undiplomatic Moments’
“Shut the gates! Shut the gates!”
. . . "There is a lesson for Trump in all of this. If he is looking for a legacy himself, he shouldn't waste his time negotiating with the dictator of North Korea. Who honestly believes Kim has any intention of abandoning his nuclear weapons? He is buying time." . . .

US Navy canceling program to turn gas-guzzling destroyers into hybrids

So thankful that Democrats of today were not running WW2. Another put down for the Obama navy, at least until Democrats run the country once more. Let's hope the next thing to go will be the USS Harvey Milk.
I don't care to picture Kamala Harris as the next Commander-in-Chief.
TD

Defense News

The guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) transits the Atlantic Ocean.

"The Navy is canceling a program to install fuel-efficient hybrid electric drives in 34 destroyers, leaving only one destroyer with the technology, the Navy confirmed in a statement.
"Citing “department priorities,” the service requested $6.3 million for 2018 to finish the installation on the destroyer Truxtun, but has zeroed out funding in 2019 and in the out years. The service has spent about $52 million on the program to date. The whole program was expected to cost $356.25 million, according to the Navy’s FY2017 budget submission.“ 'Based on the Department’s priorities, President’s Budget 2019 removes funding from Hybrid Electric Drive program in FY 2019,” said Lt. Lauren Chatmas in a statement. “There are no further procurements or installations planned beyond DDG-103 in the Future Years Defense Program.”"The Navy will use Truxtun as a test bed to see if the technology pays off in the long run, Chatmas continued." . . .

Mike Pence urged ABC News star Joy Behar to apologize to Christians she offended – she didn’t listen

See the source image

Fox News Entertainment  "Joy Behar apologized to Mike Pence for mocking his faith, but the vice president didn't get what he really wanted: A bigger mea culpa to "millions of Christians" who watch "The View."

"Pence was willing to turn the other cheek when Behar reached out privately, according to a White House source. But Behar, whose apology only made news when ABC boss Bob Iger acknowledged it at a shareholders' meeting Thursday, found sorry was the hardest word to utter to her TV show's audience.
. . .
The Media Research Center doesn’t feel that Behar’s apology is adequate and mirrored Pence by calling for her to do it publicly.
Joy and Al

“The bigoted statements made about the Vice President's Christian faith offended hundreds of millions of Christians across the country, the largest faith group in the United States,” MRC president Brent Bozell told Fox news. “Their apology should therefore be as public as their insult. When they do that, this whole matter will be put to rest. Until they do, we will not let up our campaign to let the world -- including their advertisers -- know of their anti-Christian bigotry."

"ABC News has not responded to multiple requests for comment."

ABC gets 25,000 phone calls since 'View' host suggested 'mental illness'
. . . Behar turned her attack directly on the vice president, stating: “Like I said before, it’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you. … That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct. Hearing voices.”

Perhaps the guy running the laugh/ applause sign should apologize as well

What actually are "crisis actors"?

CrisisCast

"Award winning role play actors and film makers specially trained in disaster and crisis management.

"We dramatise* events for emerging security needs in the UK, Middle East and worldwide. Our specialist role play actors – many with security clearance – are trained by behavioural psychologists and rigorously rehearsed in criminal and victim behaviour to help police, the army and the emergency services, hospitals, schools, local authorities, government, private security firms, shopping centres, airports, big business, criminal justice departments, media and the military to simulate incident environments for life saving procedures.

"We use state of the art British film industry techniques, props and special effects to help trainers deliver essential, hands-on, high octane crisis response and disaster management training. We also work with trainee doctors, psychologists and care professionals." . . .
*British spelling.

I do recall reading the LA Times daily during the 80s, very often seeing on the Metro section front page, a photo of families with grieving, angry faces right after one of their members was shot by police during an altercation.
That would be the very same police that, during the Rodney King riots, stayed away from violent areas, likely from fear that any incident would be portrayed as racist.
Maxine Waters did so anyway, even though many people were nearly killed by her voters, simply by driving through her district. TD
