Exactly as Predicted — and How the Winning Kavanaugh Confirmation Struggle Next Plays Out

The American Spectator
After this writer lists ten predictions regarding the Kavanaugh hearings that came true, the article continues with this:
. . . "Further — exactly as predicted — the FBI investigation proved a boon for the Kavanaugh nomination and the Republicans. It reflected GOP fairness and open-mindedness, took away from the Democrat Resistance their only solitary issue that bore even a modicum of moral decency, and created a stronger investigatory basis for deeming Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh to be a good man, decent, a wonderful husband, father, and son who was defamed brutally. The FBI investigation, rather than playing into Democrats’ hands, launched a new phase: the process of clearing Justice Kavanaugh’s good name.

"And not insignificantly, the decision by The Resistance to devote five of the last nine weeks before the November elections to smearing Justice Kavanaugh meant that they had taken off the table the full smorgasbord of their trademark Liberal-Left talking points: Stormy Daniels, the Mueller investigation, Michael Cohen, children at the border, Rod Rosenstein, how the enormously successful tax breaks have not helped the middle class, how the enormously successful tax breaks that have helped the middle class should be attributed to Obama, the President’s mental capacity, Omarosa, the New York Times “anonymous” op-ed, the Woodward book, and all other such. All removed from the public discussion as The Resistance revved all cylinders to focus exclusively on destroying the Kavanaugh nomination." . . .

The Kavanaugh Fight Exposed Feminism’s Identity-Politics Problem

Today’s feminists don’t believe in female independence: They erase or bully women who don’t toe the leftist line.
. . . This bullying tactic is in obvious contradiction with feminism’s historic promise to uphold the individuality and agency of every woman. Can women actually think for themselves, or must they necessarily fall in line with progressive groupthink? The resounding answer from feminists seems to be the latter.
"In response to Kavanaugh’s confirmation, prominent feminist pundit Jessica Valenti tweeted that “women will not forget,” while Jill Filipovic tweeted that “at least women now see a little more clearly how much we don’t matter to the people in charge.” Jennifer Wright, meanwhile, wrote in Harper’s Bazaar over the weekend:
Our rage burns so brightly. I look out, and I see a nation of women incandescent with rage. We will burn patriarchal institutions to the ground. And I pray that, for our daughters, the blaze will light the way forward.

New Democrat Scam: Fake Republican Women Who Will NEVER VOTE REPUBLICAN AGAIN!  "Right on cue, the Democrats and their accomplices in the media are trotting out their latest narrative, using women claiming to be Republicans who say that after this Kavanaugh fiasco, they will never vote Republican again! This would be more believable if they found some women who don't look like caricatures of Democrat women." . . .  Video
"Without even listening to what she's saying, I can tell you she's not a Republican. Here's how:" . . .

Hillary Flops in Anti-Trump 'Murphy Brown' Reboot, Draws Weak Ratings
Video; kinda funny while being a bit sycophantic  . . . "The show, reborn after a 20-year hiatus, joined The Resistance from the opening bell. Reviews cited how the new show attacked President Trump, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Steve Bannon in the first three installments.
"Said critics also trashed the show as preachy, stale, and teeming with “clapter” jokes meant to provide virtue signaling and little else.
"Ouch.
"So who else would they turn to but Clinton to punch up the premiere episode?" . . .

Kavanaugh Foes Fill Senate Gallery With Sounds of the Insane

. . . I have visited hospitals for the seriously mentally ill, and the shrieks from this woman were as odd and unearthly as anything I ever heard inside a mental hospital.  They echoed off the halls and ceilings outside the gallery in decreasing but astonishing amplitude.
Then the roll was called, and it sounded like the gates of hell opened up.   . . .
Who paid for those outfits?

Three Lies Taylor Swift Told About Marsha Blackburn

Another Hollywood show-off, as if we needed one.

PJ Media

\

"On Sunday night, pop singer Taylor Swift announced her opposition to Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), citing mostly LGBT issues. In these attacks, she misrepresented Blackburn's positions, painting the Republican candidate for Senate as a bigot and a "hater."
" 'I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love," Swift wrote. The singer added that Blackburn's "voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me."
"Then Taylor Swift launched into a summary of talking points published by the LGBT activist group GLAAD.
" 'She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples," Swift declared.
"Each of these claims misrepresented Blackburn's positions." . . .

Since now she's political, she will hit all the TV talk shows.

Justice Kavanaugh Sworn In At White House

Legal Insurrection

Democrats, please take note of the look on the faces of Justice Kavanaugh's daughters.

Relax, girls; that isn't Joe Biden behind you. It's President Trump and you're safe. TD

"Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in at the White House today, by Justice Anthony Kennedy, whom Kavanaugh replaces on the Court and for whom Kavanaugh clerked.
"Also in attendance were the other members of the Supreme Court.
"Trump, in his introduction, noted that the Kavanaugh family had been mistreated during the confirmation process, but had been vindicated:
“On behalf of our nation, I want to apologize to Brett and the entire Kavanaugh family for the terrible pain and suffering you have been forced to endure,” Trump began. “Those who step forward to serve our country deserve a fair and dignified evaluation, not a campaign of political and personal destruction based on lies and deception. What happened to the Kavanaugh family violates every notion of fairness, decency, and due process. In our country, a man or a woman must always be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.”
Trump added that “under historic scrutiny,” Kavanaugh had been “proven innocent.”

GOP Volunteers Dumped At Gas Station By Uber Driver: 'Welcome To The Resistance'

Daily Caller  "It ain’t easy being a conservative these days. New reports are popping up every week about conservatives being denied service at restaurants and now even from a ride-sharing company solely because of their political beliefs.
"Six Republican campaign volunteers have a similar story. They say they were kicked out of an Uber on Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina, as their driver told them “welcome to the resistance.' ” . . .

"Mary Russell, a volunteer, and Chris Godbey, the Executive Director of the Young Republicans National Federation, sat down with the Daily Caller to share their horrifying experience.

"Their crime? Talking politics amongst themselves in front of their driver — who apparently didn’t agree with their political views.
"The Daily Caller reached out to Uber, a spokesperson said they were looking into the situation.
"Republican Congressman Mark Meadows heard about the incident and took to Twitter to offer a $100 gift card for Lyft to those involved in the incident."

. . .
Daily Caller  "Justice Brett Kavanaugh has hired a black law clerk for his new chambers at the U.S. Supreme Court, matching Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s record of African-American clerkship hiring during her tenure on the nation’s highest judicial tribunal.

"With his first clerkship hires, Kavanaugh also set a gender composition record, an apparent attempt to buck the high court’s hiring patterns, which tend to favor white, male graduates of elite law schools.

"Since joining the high court in 1993, Ginsburg has hired over 100 law clerks, just one of whom is black.

"Ginsburg’s hiring practices have been criticized for decades. During her 1993 confirmation hearings, GOP Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah asked Ginsburg if a court might reasonably conclude that a small business in a majority black city that hired 57 white employees and zero black employees over a period of years was discriminatory. Ginsburg dodged, before Hatch pointed out that was in fact her own record of clerkship hiring in her 13 years on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

“ 'I will try harder, and if you confirm me for this job my attractiveness to black candidates is going to improve,” Ginsburg replied, to much laughter throughout the hearing chamber. (RELATED: Confirmed: Brett Kavanaugh Is Now A Supreme Court Justice)

"Kavanaugh’s new clerks are Shannon Grammel, Megan Lacy, Sara Nommensen and Kim Jackson. These hires set a record in a second respect: Kavanaugh is the first Supreme Court justice to hire an all female class of clerks.

"A 2017 study published in the National Law Journal found that 85 percent of all Supreme Court clerks between 2005 and 2017 were white, and approximately two-thirds were male.

"Just hours after the Senate narrowly confirmed the new justice, Kavanaugh was sworn in Saturday by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Anthony Kennedy in a private, intimate ceremony at the court. He quietly began work on Sunday, taking over a suite of offices formerly occupied by Justice Samuel Alito."

To Understand Christine Blasey Ford, Take a look at Palo Alto University

The feminists of the left will "rule or ruin", according to Mr GingrichYoutube "I went to PAU for grad school, not knowing much about it, other than it’s a place I can pursue a clinical counseling degree. If you’re someone who is open minded, yet conservative, the professors of this school will silence you. I’ve been called “a man” in a derogatory way by a white female professor. I’ve been told that even though I’m not white, I can still have white privilege - I was told this by a white, male professor. Go figure. I agree with this video "

Is she talking about what the Democrats are doing to Trump concerning Russia?

Hillary says Kavanaugh accuser deserves to be heard; Juanita Broaddrick responds with scorcher
. . . "Clinton also implied that the accusations against her husband were not as serious as the ones against Kavanaugh." . . .

. . . "In response, Juanita Broaddrick — who maintains that Bill Clinton raped her in 1978 at an Arkansas motel and that Hillary Clinton threatened her to keep quiet — called the former secretary of state for being a total hypocrite.

WRITER For Late Night's Stephen Colbert: “I’m Just Glad We Ruined Kavanaugh’s Life”

100% FedUp  "Yesterday, Ariel Dumas, a writer for CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” tweeted about how no matter the outcome, she was grateful that the Left was able to ruin Judge Kavanaugh’s life."

“Whatever happens, I’m just glad we ruined Brett Kavanaugh’s life,” the writer, Ariel Dumas, posted on Twitter. Dumas later briefly made her account private, preventing others from viewing her posts without her approval.

. . . "Kate Sidley another writer for the leftist, political hack, Stephen Colbert, came forward to defend Dumas, calling anyone who questioned what kind of person would say such a horrible thing a “monster”." . . .
The Left’s unfounded attacks on Brett Kavanaugh and his family, in an attempt to destroy his chances of becoming a Supreme Court Justice, may be the worst miscalculation the Democrat Party has made since they believed Hillary would win in a landslide…

Kavanaugh and the 'cold civil war'

Regrettably, there is the decided likelihood that the Left’s propensity for violence will continue to escalate in proportion to its rhetoric. When Collins is libeled viciously as a “rape apologist” and the entire Republican Party is defamed as “Rape-Publicans,” why would any virtue signaling narcissist resist (even if they could) the incited urge to attack such villains? If you think these people would always resist the lesser angels of their natures, feel free to acquaint yourself with the video of the young pro-life lady being kicked by the “feminist” left-wing goon.

Rick Moran  "In the years leading up to the Civil War, the divisions between north and south became so irreconcilable that members of congress would arrive on the chamber floor armed with pistols. At one point, Massachusetts Senator Charles Sumner was brutally beaten with a cane as he sat in his chair in the senate. It wasn't just that emotions ran high. It was that both sides began to see the other as aliens - citizens of a different country.
We aren't there - yet. But we can easily see a day in the not too distant future where political violence will become commonplace and instead of screaming at each other and insulting one another, left and right could come to blows.
"Former Rep. Thaddeus McCotter penned a thoughtful essay in American Greatness about this "cold civil war."
Realizing politics is part of life, one side believes America is fundamentally a good country requiring some prudent improvements upon which reasonable minds may differ. On the other side, the Left, thinking politics is life, believes America is a hopelessly unjust nation requiring “fundamental transformation” and this is a point on which no reasonable minds can differ.
The Kavanaugh confirmation evinces the political abyss between us; and the bathetic depths to which this divide drives the Left to “win.”
"Driving this maniacal desire to "win," is what we used to call a "false consciousness" - the belief in a reality that simply doesn't exist. Everything and everybody who say anything to disagree find their words exaggerated and blown out of proportion until all meaning is lost.
Regrettably, there is the decided likelihood that the Left’s propensity for violence will continue to escalate in proportion to its rhetoric. Senator’s Wife Receives HORRIFIC Text From Unhinged Lunatic After Kavanaugh Vote

The Federalist Papers  "Republican Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado revealed that his wife received a text message with a video showing a beheading, and someone doxxed his family members:
In the wake of his vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Saturday, Republican Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., revealed to Fox News on Sunday that his wife had received a graphic text message with a video depicting a beheading, and that someone has publicly posted the names and addresses of his family members.
Gardner announced his support for Kavanaugh in July, and reaffirmed it after reviewing the supplemental FBI report into uncorroborated sexual misconduct allegations against him.
Late last month, Gardner received a letter from an anonymous individual apparently in Denver, alleging that Kavanaugh had “shoved” someone up against a wall “very aggressively and sexually” during an outing in 1998 in front of four witnesses. The allegation was later deemed not to be credible.
“Every victim of abuse, assault, and violence has been through an unspeakable tragedy and we need to do a better job listening to them, ensuring support is available, and fighting to end abuse of any kind,” Gardner said in a statement prior to receiving the graphic text messages. “I hope that the partisan divide we all feel today does not hinder the people that have bravely come forward.”
Kavanaugh, his wife Ashley, and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford have also all received numerous death threats in recent days.
"The reaction was immediate:" . . .
