Pro-Impeachment Dem Returns Home, Faces Wrath Of Her Constituents: ‘We’re Mad As Hell!’

Daily Sounder

"With congressional representatives’ busy schedules and trips to-and-from Washington D.C., there’s often not a lot of time for constituents to hold their elected officials feet to the fire.
"But Oklahoma Rep. Kendra Horn’s constituents found the perfect opportunity to do just that.
"Earlier this week, Horn got an earful from her district voters, who confronted her at a Town Hall meeting. A majority of the backlash came from her pro-impeachment stance, siding with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in her war against President Donald Trump.
“ 'As an independent voter, I think you’re in a lot of trouble if you vote for this impeachment,” Susan Jaslow told Horn. It’s worth noting that, per a Daily Caller report, that Jaslow voted for Horn in 2018, but will not do so if she proceeds with an impeachment vote.
When Horn tried to wiggle her way out of a definite “yes” vote on impeachment, others that were in the crowd jumped in.
“ 'We’re mad as hell. Why did you allow this sham to go on?” one asked.
“ 'You’re in a lot of trouble if you vote for this,” another said.
“ 'Get back to work for the American people!” yet another stated.

Robert de Niro: Trump a ‘Nasty Little Bitch’ and His Supporters Are Crazy

Edited by TD for the fun of it.
Breitbart  "Leftist actor Robert de Niro attacked President Donald Trump as a “nasty little bitch” and vowed never to portray the president on screen in a wide-ranging interview released Saturday.
Speaking to the New York Times, de Niro, one of President Trump’s most virulent Hollywood critics, explained he would never agree to play the president because he believes he’s an “awful person” with “nothing redeemable about him.”
“I never say that about any character,” The Irishman star then claimed.
Robert De Niro also lashed out at President Trump’s supporters, stating he has “people who follow him who are crazy and want to do crazy things.”
Mike Harris
“Trump has people who follow him who are crazy and want to do crazy things. What we’re doing in film, it’s like a dream. We know it’s not real,” the 76-year-old judged. “There are people who will take anything to be real and that we have no control over.”
“The president is supposed to set an example of trying to do the right thing. Not be a nasty little bitch. Because that’s what he is. He’s a petulant little punk,” he fumed. “There’s not one thing that I see in him or his family, not any redeeming qualities. They’re out on the take. It’s like a gangster family.”
De Niro’s remarks come after he floated South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg as possible White House candidates that could defeat President Trump in 2020.
“I like Bloomberg. He’s an adult. He’s a grownup,” the Meet the Fockers star told CBS’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert." .

The Business of Climate Change

Real Clear Energy  . . . "Then there’s the psychology of herding, whereby CEOs are fearful of being hung out to dry if they don’t sign the latest statement pledging their company to save the world from climate breakdown. All this might remind readers of two groups in Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged: the Moochers, comprising, in this example, the craven CEOs and their in-house CSR crowd; and the Looters, the environmental NGOs. Their ultimate victim is capitalism, the only economic system ever to have produced durable, transformative economic growth." . . .

. . . "Then there are those desperate to get on the climate bandwagon and never get off. Anyone who has attended a UN climate conference will have noticed that some of the best-dressed participants are from Africa’s poorest nations, some with chunky Rolexes on their wrists. The UN makes sure that they suffer no hardship from their climate-change-fighting efforts. The Daily Subsistence Allowance, once handed out in envelopes with $100 bills, is now disbursed in its plastic equivalent of Swiss value cards. NGOs, whose role at climate conferences is to act as the spontaneous expression of civil society, are also eligible. Unsurprisingly, youth NGOs want to get in on the DSA act, too." . . .

Adam Schiff Finally Goes on Fox, Squirms Trying to Justify Impeachment

Wallace asked how could challenging Democrats in court over their requests for documents or people to testify be considered obstruction, especially given the Supreme Court’s decision to hear the case of Trump challenging turning over financial records. “Why is going to Court an impeachable offense?” Wallace asked.

RedState  "House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) finally made it on to Fox to try to justify the Democrats’ Articles of Impeachment.
"He drew perhaps who he thought was the most amenable anchor for the interview, Chris Wallace. But Wallace did get in a couple of good questions that left Schiff squirming and spinning untruths.
"Schiff looked horrible with red eyes and with what looked like vampire-like make-up, coupled with nerves. He did not do well.
"Wallace asked after all the claims about bribery and extortion, why Democrats hadn’t included any crimes, much less those in the articles of impeachment?"
. . .
"He claimed that somehow this “sacrificed our national security.” But indeed, it is the Democrats’ effort of impeachment that has impaired our relationship with Ukraine because of their effort to politicize everything and impede the effort into stopping corruption in Ukraine. Meanwhile, it’s impaired the President’s ability to conduct foreign policy as he should. And it’s incredibly ironic given that Barack Obama left Ukraine naked and open to being invaded by Russia by first getting them to give up their weapons with which they could have defended themselves and then failing to provide them weapons for that defense when they begged for them after the Russians invaded. They only got them after President Donald Trump came in and provided them.
"Wallace also nailed him on obstruction where Schiff’s responses were even weaker." . . .

"Soulless" Hollywood and the Thunbergians

Rob Reiner Defends ‘Champion for Our Survival’ Greta Thunberg Against ‘Soulless’ Trump  "Meathead" speaks nonsense to power as one of those who comes into our home entertainment to shape our children's values and to teach all Americans what they consider morals.
"Left-wing actor and director Rob Reiner defended teenage climate alarmist Greta Thunberg, describing her as a “passionate caring champion for the survival of our planet” after President Donald Trump mocked her for being awarded TIME magazine’s “Person of the Year.”
“ 'Greta Thunberg is a passionate caring champion for the survival of our planet. Donald Trump is a Soulless Pathologically Lying Malignant Narcissist who cheats to win and pisses on our Constitution and the Rule of Law. So there’s that,”Rob Reiner, one of the president’s most vocal Hollywood critics, wrote on Twitter Saturday morning." . . .

Democrat Rep. Collin Peterson Confirms He’ll Vote Against Impeaching Trump

Breitbart  . . . "Speaking to The Globe on Saturday, Peterson, Minnesota’s most senior member, said, “unless they come up with something between now and Wednesday,” he will vote against impeachment and expects up to five other Democrats to join him.
“ 'Maybe something will change. I doubt it,” the lawmaker added.
"The Minnesota Democrat said he believes that the president has “not committed a crime,” while most of his Seventh District constituents oppose the U.S. providing aid to other counties. He also noted the so-called “whistleblower” complaint — authored by a partisan CIA analyst — regarding President Trump’s July 25 telephone with the leader of Ukraine includes “second-hand” information.
"The complaint alleges the president pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate allegations of corruption against former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, in exchange for aid. Both world leaders have denied any pressure was applied to launch the probes, and the White House published a transcript of the call as evidence no quid pro quo occurred.
“ 'This is dividing the country for no good reason, because he’s not going to be thrown out of office,” Peterson said of his colleagues’ impeachment effort, before asking: “Why are we doing this?”
“ 'If people don’t like Trump, they can vote against him,” he added." . . .

Actress says abortion must be normalized, equates it to liberty

American Thinker
Jamil took some flak for her idiotic remarks, prompting her to get back on her Twitter horse, telling those who dared to take issue with her, “I SAID WHAT I F***ING SAID and you’re clueless if you think I’m going to take it back.”
"Actress and singer Jameela Jamil, of NBC’s “The Good Place,” took to Twitter recently to trumpet her love of abortion, saying “My life is more important to me than an unborn fetus’ one. Suck on that.” A lovely, unselfish sentiment from a classy lady.

"In an interview with feminist icon Gloria Steinem published in Harper’s Bazaar magazine earlier this year, Jamil remarked: "I'm someone who's had an abortion, and I feel like I need to make sure that we prove it's not always just emergencies. People have abortions, sometimes a woman just wants her liberty, and we have to normalize that it's okay just to make that choice for yourself, because your life is as important as a newborn life that doesn't even exist yet." Abortion isn’t just for emergencies anymore! Let’s have ‘em for freedom! For fun! For sh*ts and giggles! Just because we can! We have to normalize infanticide. It’s just a choice that you get to make for yourself, because your life is as important as a newborn life! Especially one that doesn’t exist yet!
"Earth to Jamil: it wouldn’t be a “newborn life” if it wasn’t alive and didn’t “even exist yet,” would it? Moreover, if it didn’t exist, you wouldn’t need an abortion, would you? You don’t remove something from your womb that isn’t there in the first place, Mrs. Einstein. Interesting that you accidentally used the term “newborn” to describe an unborn fetus “that doesn’t even exist yet,” as well. Almost Biden-esque misuse of the language." . . .

Schiff Called ‘Hypocrite’ As Past Comments Emerge During Clinton Impeachment

Analyzing America via Chicks On The Right    "Adam Schiff, leading the House Intelligence Committee Chairman has brushed off GOP criticism that his blundering push for impeachment leaves his ignoring major pieces of legislation and his own constituents in California.
"Eerily enough, Schiff was pushing the same argument on Joe Rogan, when he first ran for Congress, against James Rogan.
"“I think impeachment for most people in this district is only the most graphic illustration of an incumbent who has put the national partisan, ideological fights ahead of representing his district,” Schiff, said back when he was a California state senator.
"Schiff made that argument during an interview with NBC, in regard to Rogan’s role in the impeachment of President Bill Clinton, adding “People want to decide this on the basis of who’s going to serve our community.”
“Jim Rogan is in trouble for reasons that have nothing to do with impeachment,” Schiff told the Boston Globe in 1999. “I think a lot of people are unhappy that Jim Rogan has ignored the district for five years.”
"During an interview with the Associated Press he noted that Rogan’s constituents were “relegated to a lower-tier priority compared to the national, partisan agenda.' ” . . .

Breaking: Democrat Is Leaving His Party Because Of Impeachment, Becoming Republican

Now a pregnant question is why don't "journalists" who seem to be serious at their profession choose to resign from the propaganda channels such as CNN and MSNBC? And if they should, one would wonder why now and not long ago? Why were they not sickened at what their profession long ago became? TD

Analyzing America  "New Jersey Democratic Congressman Jeff Van Drew has made a decision that speaks volumes.
"Van Drew has strongly opposed the Democrats’ impeachment efforts.
"After meeting with President Trump, Van Drew is now leaving the Democratic Party and becoming a member of the Republican Party.
"Politico reported, “Van Drew’s congressional and campaign staff were informed he was planning to switch parties on Saturday…
"  'The question was now when, not if, Van Drew was joining the Republican Party, according to several Democrats with knowledge of the ongoing conversations.”
"A top GOP source told Politico that “Van Drew reportedly met ‘at length’ with Trump on Friday and his decision to switch parties is supposed to be officially announced in the near future.”
WATCH: House Democrat Jeff Van Drew shares why he’s against impeaching Trump

Turns out people get tired of defending a party that’s spent the past three years embracing Socialists, anti-Semites, and hysteria.  . . . "The Washington Post reported that his decision to switch parties delivered “a political jolt to Democrats ahead of next week’s expected vote to impeach the president.”
"News of Van Drew’s defection went viral online moments after the story broke with many noting that the move is highly damaging to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment efforts."
. . . "On the issue of impeachment, Van Drew said, “To some folks, that’s reminiscent of what was done to kings and queens many years ago. Everything our country doesn’t stand for.”
"Speaking on impeachment this week, Van Drew told reporters: “It was supposed to be bipartisan, it was supposed to be incontrovertible. It was supposed to be something that was always on the rarest of circumstances. Well it’s not bipartisan.”

Barr gets the word out about deep state

Monica Showalter
Conclusion? It's not going to end well for the deep state, which is the rightful response to see, given the federal abuses of power within. It's part of a pattern of deep state corruption and didn't start with Trump. One reason Attkisson is so savvy to the skulduggery is that the Obama administration illegally spied on Sharyl herself, which she is suing the government to open the files on the matter.
"Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson has an excellent rundown at the Epoch Times of all the statements Attorney General William Barr has been making from various media appearances, noticing the patterns in what he's putting out there." . . .
Read the whole thing here:

William Barr Has Suddenly Become Chatty—and He’s Provided Quite an Information Dump
. . . "Barr was motivated to make the public statements, he said, by the misreporting and confusion surrounding Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report issued on Dec. 9. It found serious government surveillance abuses but no evidence of political bias on the part of the offending FBI officials and agents.
"Below are 24 points Barr felt the need to make after the release of the Horowitz report. (All of the information is attributed to Barr.)

. . . "Below are 24 points Barr felt the need to make after the release of the Horowitz report. (All of the information is attributed to Barr.)"

. . . "In his interviews this week, Barr provided a treasure trove of information about what stands to be one of the most important investigations into our U.S. intelligence community of our time. His signposts indicate that we can expect a shakeup of a system that may have been broken for decades."

Only President Trump stands between us and the menacing left

If the Democrats are so blatant in abusing their power and breaking the law and rules when they don't have the White House and the Senate, then imagine all the wrongs they will not hesitate to do (and cover up) for their "good cause" after they grab control of the three branches of the U.S. government. Mark Andrew Dwyer
Democrat morality, and how it drives the impeachment push  . . . "According to Horowitz, Trump was investigated (spied upon, according to A.G. Barr) by the FBI and Obama DOJ for allegedly wanting to get some dirt on H. Clinton from Russians.  That suspicion was reportedly triggered by Papadopoulos's statement "over a glass of wine" that "Russians had some dirt on Clinton."  Oddly enough, the sole basis for that allegation, as presented to the FISA court, was a "dossier," ordered and paid for by the Clinton Campaign and DNC, whose author, British spy Steele, collaborated with Russians to fabricate dirt on Trump.
"You see, the evil was when candidate Trump was interested in dirt that Russians might have on a Democrat presidential candidate.  The good was when a Democrat presidential candidate paid Steele to make Russians produce dirt on Trump that was subsequently used in attempt to derail Trump's campaign and, later, to discredit him as the president.  All this, apparently, because the Democrats self-identified as the agents of good and deemed Trump and his Republican allies as the agents of evil." . . .
Nadler's Frightening Abuse of Power  . . . "Abuse of power? Obstruction of Congress?  It is Nadler et al who are guilty if abuse or power, as Prof. Turley testified before Rep. Nadler and his irrelevant House Judiciary Committee:
Constitutional scholar and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley told lawmakers on Wednesday during the Trump impeachment inquiry hearing that it would be an abuse of their power to impeach President Trump.
Appearing before the House Judiciary Committee, Turley accused lawmakers of doing “precisely” what they’re condemning Trump for doing and urged the committee to respect the separation of powers during the process or risk abusing their positions.
“I can’t emphasize this enough and I’ll say it just one more time: If you impeach a president, if you make a high crime and misdemeanor out of going to the courts; it is an abuse of power,” Turley said. “It’s your abuse of power.”
MSNBC joins CNN in starting to take a critical look at the impeachment farce  "Cable news channels, like battleships, take a lot of time and distance to turn around, but Dem impeachment fanatics no longer have reliably safe spaces on CNN and MSNBC. Yesterday, I pointed out a rare instance of CNN daring to call out lies about President Trump’s phone call with Ukraine’s President Zelensky by two Dem congresscritters, one of them the ever-prominent Sheila Jackson Lee.
"Today, MSNBC joins the Zucker-run propaganda outlet in starting to hedge its bets and, believe it or not, making St. James Comey look like a fool. " . . .
Great news! So, is Don Lemon gone from CNN? Jeff Zucker? No...still there.
Oh, well. Baby steps.

Catholics surround Peru church with prayer as feminist mob threatens desecration

Lifesite News
The hundreds of feminists, mostly young women, chanted in unison. “A rapist in your way,” is a chant and street performance that has become a worldwide leftist feminist hallmark, which includes the phrase, “You are the rapist” and repudiations of “patriarchy,” the state, and police. Some of the women at the front of the group were topless and wore masks, much like similar feminists in Russia, Europe, and North America.
Group of Catholics . . . against performance "A rapist on your way", in Kennedy Park.
"A human wall rose up to defend a Catholic church in Peru, offering only prayers and hymns to resist radical feminists who were protesting against violence against women and in favor of abortion.
"On Saturday, which Catholics recognized as the eve of the feast of the Immaculate Conception, approximately 150 faithful prayed the rosary for several hours outside the Virgen Milagrosa parish church in the Miraflores suburb of the Peruvian capital. There they faced off some 300 radical feminists who assembled at Kennedy Park in front of the church, denouncing what the feminists call the “patriarchal violence to which we women and diverse people have been historically exposed.”
"The feminists shouted their slogans and epithets from mid-afternoon until just after darkness fell. Circling the park and making several stops, the protesters headed toward the church in the company of police. In front of the church, the feminist protesters began chanting and dancing in unison. Some shouted, “I will abort my Lord!” Police stood in a line between the feminists and Catholics.
"At the church, faithful Catholics waited for the demonstrators. Praying the rosary, the Catholics, men and women, sang hymns and also shouted, “I’m not a rapist,” “Long live men!,” and “Long live Christ the King!” The third was the rallying cry of Mexican Catholics of nearly one hundred years ago who fought against an anti-Catholic government, as well as Cubans of the 1960s who resisted the Marxist regime of Fidel Castro.
