Mosby gone; now how about George Soros?

New American  "In Baltimore, arguably one of the most violent and corrupt cities in the country thanks to its overwhelmingly Democratic Party rule, voters had enough of the city’s state attorney. In her bid for another term, Marilyn Mosby placed third in the party’s primary election last week.

"Even the strong likelihood that mail-in ballots were fraudulently submitted to support her campaign, they weren’t enough. She finished third behind two other lesser-known candidates. Thanks to those bail-in ballots, and the state’s rule that they can be counted up to two days after the day of the election, the final results weren’t released until Friday night.

"Mosby made a major mistake: She ran on her record. She celebrated reducing the prison population significantly (using Covid as an excuse); she rejoiced at “holding police officers” accountable for their alleged misdeeds; and she was pleased to have exonerated many criminals after she reviewed their convictions through her progressive lens.

"Her record speaks for itself. During the eight years before she took office in 2014, there had been an average of 229 homicides per year in Baltimore. During her five-year reign, that average jumped to 331 — nearly a 50-percent increase.

"Right behind were increases in rapes, aggravated assaults, and robberies, jumping 13 percent, 12 percent, and 42 percent, respectively.

"Mosby gained national attention when she overcharged six police officers involved in the arrest of street thug Freddie Gray in 2015. He was arrested for illegally carrying a flip-out knife (he had a record of at least 18 prior arrests, including drug and assault charges).

"It took all six officers to subdue Gray and force him into a police van for transport to police headquarters. As National Review Online explained:. . ."

A shocking video shows how racialized America has become

American Thinker  . . ."The video would be disturbing enough if everyone were watching it and cheering on the spectacle. But still, it would be limited to being an ecumenical disregard for street violence. What makes it such a tragic and disturbing video is that the audience cares only when the Black men are at risk.

"What we are witnessing is a completely broken society. For the last 15 years, we’ve been the victims of Democrat racial obsessions, starting with Barack Obama’s presidency (his grandmother was a typical White woman, Trayvon Martin could have been his son, the police acted stupidly....) and culminating with the “fine people” hoax about Trump and the introduction of Critical Race Theory into schools and corporations.

"The result is what this video suggests (and I admit that there is a lot of context missing): Too many Black people feel utterly alienated from Whites in their society. They don’t view street violence as a “criminals versus law-abiding people” problem affecting all of us; they divvy up the fights by skin color. In the gladiatorial ring that is urban America, all you need to know is the color of someone’s skin to cheer for the “good” guys and boo for the “bad” ones.

"I honestly don’t know how one repairs a societal breakage this bad. The one thing I do know is that Critical Race Theory, which insists that Blacks are victims without agency over their lives and Whites are racist bullies without control over their actions or consciences is the opposite of the answer—yet it’s what the current administration is forcing onto America.". . .

Military Recruitment Crisis Underway as Biden Admin Continues Emphasis on Wokeness, Vaccine Mandates

Legal Insurrection

"Usually, when there is a crisis (whether perceived or real) in America, the mainstream media will jump right on it, filing umpteen evening news reports and newspaper articles in hopes of ensuring that at some point, their readers and viewers will eventually come around to caring and getting outraged enough to Do Something™.

"But in the case of the very real military recruitment crisis that is currently underway in this country, we see very little from Big Media outside of the obligatory pieces noting how 2022 recruiting goals across all military branches are way down, with NBC News recently reporting on how the numbers “show both a record low percentage of young Americans eligible to serve and an even tinier fraction willing to consider it.”

"Per the Army Times, the hardest hit among the branches is the U.S. Army, where standards are being relaxed/lowered in hopes of enticing new recruits to join:

"Defense Department officials have been sounding the alarm for months: the military is going to miss its enlisted recruiting goals this year, and the Army may be in the worst spot of any of the services.

"As of late June, according to an Army spokesperson, the Army had only hit 40% of its recruiting goal of 55,400 new soldiers for fiscal year 2022. The reasons contributing to plunging recruitment are complex, including more detailed medical screenings, a shrinking proportion of Americans eligible to serve, poor marketing practices, low civilian unemployment and more. In the face of the challenge, the service is pulling out nearly all the stops to ensure the ranks are filled.". . .

Democracy Dies in Demagoguery -

We are told to trust the wisdom of the American voter - the very voters who put these same people, mostly Democrats, into the American government. The Tunnel Dweller

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics   "Last week, some members of the Squad were back to doing what they do best: pretending that photo ops and Twitter appeals equate to good governance.

"This time, they and some of their radical colleagues joined a pro-abortion protest on the steps of the Supreme Court building. Never mind that these public servants swore an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States,” which doesn’t say anything about abortion and says quite a bit about the separation of powers. Such niceties are quickly abandoned when there are clicks and contributions to be collected, especially in a difficult election year.

"Leading the charge was everyone’s favorite spotlight-chaser, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). After being arrested for blocking traffic, she pretended to be handcuffed until she couldn’t help attracting even more attention by making a fist pump. Predictably, a fundraising email went out to her supporters immediately after this bravura performance of political dinner theater.

"A Disturbing Pattern

"This is not the first time a Squad member has abandoned any pretense of respect for the Constitution in order to pursue purely ideological goals. Ocasio-Cortez has made a particular habit of such behavior, from claiming that Republicans “amended [the] Constitution to kick FDR out of office,” to accusing the Court of initiating a “judicial coup” by choosing to hear an election-law case, to her continuing crusade to pack the Court with liberal justices.". . .

Democrat Primary Ad Hits Rep. Jerry Nadler for Being a Man

 - The American Spectator | USA News and Politics  . . ."Of all of the criticisms that could be made of Nadler, that he is insufficiently pro-abortion is a strange one to make. NARAL Pro-Choice America gives Nadler a legislative score of 100 percent. He introduced legislation to pack the Supreme Court in 2021, before the decision in Dobbs that stoked liberal rage at the institution. He also chairs the House Judiciary Committee and has held hearings about the Dobbs decision, including one where a Democratic witness claimed that men could get pregnant and have abortions.

"The only vote Nadler has ever taken that could even remotely be construed as pro-life was his support for the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act of 2002. The bill passed the House by a voice vote, so no roll call was taken, and it is unclear where Maloney stood on it. The bill went on to pass the Senate unanimously and be signed into law by President George W. Bush, demonstrating how uncontroversial it was. Nadler has given leftists everything they could possibly want on the abortion issue. His only problem, apparently, is that he is male.

"Primary races between incumbent members of Congress are rare but sometimes occur when redistricting scrambles congressional lines. In the case of New York, Democrats tried to gerrymander the state and protect their incumbents, drawing a brutal gerrymander that left only four of the state’s 26 congressional districts favoring Republicans and contorted Nadler’s district into an “S” shape. ". . .

The last major media holdout still shilling for Joe Biden

That clown's outfit is Politico, a usually better than average source of news otherwise. It's the lone holdout, the dead-ender still resolutely insisting that Joe Biden in the White House will somehow usher in a worker's paradise and prosperity is around the corner. It's amazing how they cling to their man

Monica Showalter   "By all accounts - by every economic indicator, every political poll, every overseas interaction, every lie at the presidential podium -- Joe Biden is a miserable failure as president. Inflation brought on by government spending has now tipped the economy into recession and there is no end in sight. The border lies open, with the Border Patrol converted into a de facto valet and escort service for literally millions of unvetted illegal border crossers. Crime is out of control. America is a laughingstock abroad, with Biden's name on the most humiliating military pullout in U.S. history.

"He's a man utterly unfit for the office, a man whose very placement in office demonstrates the horrific consequences of electoral fraud.

"Even the New York Times has come to much of this sorry conclusion, as has the Washington Post, and to an increasing extent, CNN and the other networks, as well as their deep-state allies. A slew of negative stories are now out on the failures and shocking corruption of Biden, as Democrats plot to remove the millstone-round-their-necks from office.

"Victor Davis Hanson observed it best:

Now, that liability, that asset, Joe Biden, is a liability, and he's so low in the polls that they're going to blame him for their own progressive message, failing to attract voters. So all of a sudden out of this administrative state and the FBI, the DOJ, maybe even the White House, people are starting to leak . . .

We've finally got confirmation that Joe was 'the Big Guy' all along

American Thinker   "Currently, Merrick Garland is seriously contemplating indicting Donald Trump for daring to do what Democrats did in 2000 and 2016: question an election's validity.  That is a dangerous ideological turn.  Meanwhile, in the land of actual facts, Miranda Devine has unearthed compelling evidence that, when Hunter's business partners were planning to have "H" hold "10%" for "the Big Guy" as part of a massive deal with a CCP-backed Chinese energy company, "the Big Guy" was Joe Biden, who had just left the vice president's office.

" 'The background to this story is that Hunter Biden, in a drugged out haze, dropped his computer off in a Delaware repair shop and never returned to pay for the repair and pick up the computer.  And so it was that Hunter Biden's hard drive entered the public domain right before the 2020 election.  In addition to his exceptionally disgusting, debauched, and definitely illegal habits (illicit drugs, prostitutes, and possibly much worse), the laptop was also overflowing with information about Hunter's business dealings.

"Some of Hunter's business dealings were already known.  For example, everyone knew that his lucrative job at Ukraine's corrupt Burisma energy company was only because his father was vice president with control over distributing U.S. funds to that equally corrupt country.  It was also well known that Hunter was doing big business with the Chinese Communist Party, America's greatest geopolitical rival, during his father's time in the Obama White House.". . .

America's Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine promotes 'father's milk' -

Is this the end of America, the "shining city on a hill"?

Andrea Widberg,- American Thinker   "An old joke tells of the miserly farmer who tried to save money by training his mule to go without food.  He later explained that the experiment was working perfectly except that the darned mule was so stubborn that it up and died.  That mule represents reality.  The so-called transgender movement is trying to pretend reality can be ignored and is forcing its sick fantasy on America.  The latest example is the "gender inclusive" language guide from The Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) suggesting that hospitals and lactation consultants add the phrase "father's milk" to their vocabulary.

"The Post Millennial broke the story:

"This document was sent to me by a friend whose wife is a hospital nurse for new moms and their babies," evolutionary biologist Colin Wright Wright told The Post Millennial. "He said this new 'inclusive terminology' is being implemented at her hospital, and that nurses and other health professionals are being required to ask each patient what terms they wish to have used when discussing their care."

The guideline also includes words "chestfeeding," "human milk feeding," and "lactating person" to use in place of "traditional terms" like breastfeeding, nursing mother and breast.. . .

Ann Coulter: Actually, Our Culture Is Better

Child rape, gang rape, incest -- it's been a long time since we've seen much of that in the United States. Of course, there are lots of things we thought had been abolished a hundred years ago that our immigration policies are bringing back.

Townhall. . .But as long as they're going to keep talking about how hard it is to get an abortion in Ohio, I'm going to keep talking about how hard it is to assimilate the third world to first-world norms about women and children.
"Child rape, gang rape, incest -- it's been a long time since we've seen much of that in the United States. Of course, there are lots of things we thought had been abolished a hundred years ago that our immigration policies are bringing back.
"Indeed, the precise reasons people doubted "10-year-old rape victim" (until we found out the rapist was an illegal immigrant from Guatemala) were:
1) We grew up in America, where such crimes were freakishly rare;
2) We are being systematically lied to about the new cultures being brought in by mass third-world immigration.
"In its treatment of women, America is rare even among Western nations.
Toward the end of "Democracy in America," Alexis de Tocqueville attributes "the unusual prosperity and growing strength" of America to "the superiority of their women."
"This admirable creature, he said, was the product of Protestantism combined with self-government and the spirit of freedom.
" 'Amongst almost all Protestant nations young women are far more the mistresses of their own actions than they are in Catholic countries. ... [S]he has scarcely ceased to be a child when she already thinks for herself, speaks with freedom, and acts on her own impulse."
"Cut to: The mother of the 10-year-old rape victim in Ohio adamantly defending her child's rapist." . . .

The Biden Bunch: Joe and our nation's Leadership

Biden and The Destruction of Wisdom – sbynews

"The Biden regime is decoupled from both the past and reality, and quite capable of destroying Americans’ lives as they have known them.

"There used to be an agreed-on body of wisdom, which both Left and Right, Republicans and Democrats, generally accepted. Heated arguments and invective centered on implementations and methods of solving problems, which at least both sides agreed were problems. Both ideologies accepted a common core of wisdom, despite their radical differences in interpreting it.

"Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and especially Biden’s strange cabinet of loud Jacobin amateurs, reject the very hallowed knowledge upon which civilization is based. In that sense the public has begun to recognize them as nihilist and anarchist. Nearly two out of three Americans in some polls hold unfavorable views of the Biden Administration. They fear that it is decoupled from both the past and reality, and quite capable of destroying their lives as they have known them.". . .

How can we ever get our nation's adversaries and enemies to unsee what Democrats have fostered before the world? TD

So, It Turns Out That Biden Video Was Worse Than We Initially Knew

 Townhall

Townhall

"Yesterday, I covered the disturbingly viral video from President Joe Biden in which he didn't blink for nearly 20 seconds as he made some digs at former President Donald Trump and blabbered on about how "you can't be pro-insurrection and pro-cop, you can't be pro-insurrection and pro-democracy, you can't be pro-insurrection and pro-American." Well, as it turns out, there was more footage, as our friends at Twitchy covered, and it contains sloppy cuts.". . .
. . ."A major complaint from the video published Tuesday afternoon was that the president didn't blink, once. His voice also sounded croaky and hoarse though. While Biden does blink in the raw footage video, his voice remains problematic. It even sounds like he's slurring his words. "This law does so much more, it saves lives, including yours," he says at one point. "It'll help you do your job, but it's just a start," he says at another. The additional footage also gives deeper context to Biden referencing being "pro-cop," despite how members of his party have supported defunding the police. "Last week, I rolled out by Safer America plan, with a goal of doing three key things," Biden shared, including "taking additional commonsense steps to reduce gun crimes and violence." It's worth reminding that to the president, and Vice President Kamala Harris, "commonsense steps" include a ban on so-called assault weapons, even though fellow Democratic lawmakers acknowledge that's not practical. Many responses point to the particularly poor editing job". . .
