Senators have tough questions for Holder

USA Today h/t to Lucianne "In an appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Holder most likely will face difficult questions not only about his decision in the Mohammed case but also about whether federal investigators mishandled information about the Fort Hood shooting suspect's contacts with a radical cleric months before the Nov. 5 massacre. Three of Holder's most vocal critics of the decision to try Mohammed in civilian court are members of the panel: Republican Sens. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, John Cornyn of Texas and Jon Kyl of Arizona."

NBC’s ObamaVision: ‘Law and Order’ — ‘This Is Why We Need Health-Care Reform’

Big Hollywood "The economy is weak, so they have devolved to converting White House talking points into weekly shows. Last week, “Doped” was a farcical equivalent of “Damien Thorn meets Karen Silkwood.” Pharmaceutical companies and Doctors are worse than drug cartels. The killers in the previous week’s episode on such cartels were more sympathetic than the health professionals. "

"We Don't Need Any More US Troops to Beat The Taliban, What We Need Is For The Italians to Leave Their Bases And Fight"....

Scotsman "Ismail Khan, the self-styled Emir of western Afghanistan, and three-decade veteran of fighting the Taleban and the Russians, was particularly scathing about the Italian forces, in his hometown of Herat."...."Mr Khan said: "The Italians were not very active. They didn't do a lot of operations to go and find the Taleban. Most of the fighting was when they got ambushed.""People respect the Americans because they went outside the city and fought the Taleban face to face."

The Code Pink-Hollywood-Taliban-Obama connection

Big Government "Last year, right before Jodie Evans attended another high dollar event for Obama, she gave a radio interview in which she sympathized with Osama bin Laden about his reasons for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks that murdered nearly 3000 Americans and foreign nationals."

Liz Cheney Fights Back On Terror Trials

KeepAmericaSafe.com "The father of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl slammed the Obama administration’s decision to hold a public trial for admitted 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed — who boasted of killing his son in Pakistan."

Al Qaeda's Civil Liberties Union

Weekly Standard "Who are KSM's lawyers, in any event? They are members of the ACLU's John Adams Project, ...The John Adams Project represents Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the four other 9/11 conspirators the Obama administration has decided to move to U.S. soil for trial. Thus, it is not surprising that the ACLU has praised the controversial move, saying it was "a major victory for due process and the rule of law."...."But the ACLU cannot tell the difference between us and our enemies--as its own propaganda shows. Therefore, it does not bode well for America's counterterrorism efforts that the Obama administration is in agreement with al Qaeda's useful idiots."

Life begins again

World Magazine "A Planned Parenthood director in Texas has a change of heart after watching a baby ‘crumple’ on an ultrasound".... " She has been accused of trying to become the next right-wing media darling but points out that Planned Parenthood took the story public first—she was hoping to just move on with her life."

Same Old, Same Old at Fort Hood

By Victor Davis Hanson "Every few months either an Islamic-inspired terrorist plot will be foiled, or a young Muslim male will shoot, run down or stab someone while invoking anger at non-Muslims.In other words, the attack on Fort Hood happened on schedule. It was the rule, not the exception. And something like it will occur again — soon."
