What is the Tunnel Wall?

.........................A timely collection of conservative articles about corrosive liberal influences on politics and culture in America. Once a no-Trumper, the Tunnel Dweller is keenly aware that this most effective President is all that stands between us and our being ruled by those who have contempt for our nation and her history. How Can We Possibly Trust Obama on Iran?

PJ Media  "The Roman legal maxim Falsus in Uno, Falsus in Ominibus, meaning one who testifies falsely on one thing cannot be trusted on anything, may be a bit of an exaggeration. But what about Falsus repeatedly, as Barack Obama has been?"
obama_iran_crossing_fingers_big_11-7-13-2
"How can we let a president who has lied dozens of times about our healthcare negotiate something as cataclysmic as nuclear weaponry with Iran? How can we possibly trust him?
"And yet that is happening before our eyes. The Wall Street Journal is reporting:" ...
....
"A president who is becoming increasingly defensive with each passing day is likely to do something erratic and dangerous. We cannot let him. Otherwise it will certainly be “Israel alone.” Maybe it already is."

America's top UN diplomat has high praise for 'Hanoi Jane'

Fox News   "New U.S. ambassador to the UN Samantha Power didn't waste her diplomatic skills on Vietnam veterans at a New York speech, praising actress Jane Fonda for "being outspoken on behalf" of her convictions."
....
"But Vietnam veterans have long held a less charitable view of the Oscar-winning actress, who in her younger days took her anti-war activism to North Vietnam, where she posed with Viet Cong soldiers at a missile battery and earned the derisive nickname "Hanoi Jane." The now-75-year-old actress has since apologized for what she told Oprah Winfrey was an "unforgivable mistake" made in 1972. Fonda told Winfrey she was taken to a North Vietnam military site during the last day of her visit, despite her objections."
....
Fonda and another Obama
diplomat
"Joe Kristek, a 69-year-old former Army sergeant ... said Fonda "collaborated with the enemy." Kristek repeated an old allegation that Fonda took notes from American POWs and, instead of passing them on to their families, instead turned them over to their captors. Fonda has said she did meet with POWs, but denies turning over their messages."

Jane Fonda Supported the Enemy in Vietnam and Her Conduct Got American POW's Killed-Truth! and Fiction!  There is no dispute that her visit took place and that her words and actions were in support of the enemy.  This particular email includes three stories, two of which have been denied by the POWs who are named, and one of which has been confirmed as true by the source, although he was not named in the email.

A Complete Takedown of Obamacare Lies in One Video; Commentary by two amazing ladies

First this foreword by Ann Coulter  "So now it turns out Obama knew that 93 million Americans would have their health insurance canceled the whole time he was claiming, "If you like your insurance, you can keep it. Period."
Obama lied. Period. "Hope and Change" was actually "A Sucker Is Born Every Minute.' "

Katie Pavlich:  A Complete Takedown of Obamacare Lies in One Video
"This 18 minute long video deconstructs nearly every single lie told about President Obama's signature piece of legislation from the time Obamacare was signed into law in 2010 until now. Everything from doctors "supporting" the Affordable Care Act to the false promise of keeping health insurance plans under the law is covered. It's a must watch and worth every minute of your time.

"As this video makes clear, nearly every part of Obamacare was sold on a lie."

... "Many in America were shocked that anyone would call the President of the United States a liar in such a forum as a presidential address to a joint session of Congress.
"But, now, as we look back on 5 years of Barack Obama, we see that Obama and his Administration do lie.  And they lie a lot."....

Affordable Care Act: if we didn't laugh we'd cry. But that would be racist, wouldn't it?

"Who says President Barack Obama (D) hasn't accomplished anything?  Not Global Language Monitor, an Austin, Texas based firm helping clients protect their branded products."...

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood Slam ObamaCare, Spoof ACA Website Problems at CMAs  "The pair kicked off a rant about the faulty Affordable Care Act website after the country crooner “injured” himself “twerking.”
“ 'I started signing up last Thursday and I’m almost done,” quipped Underwood."

As predicted:  Freak-out in full swing over ‘rich, white’ racists mocking Obamacare at the CMAs

Simulated sex acts will be tolerated on national TV, but you will NOT mock liberal programs!

Some people a bit upset that CMAs got political. Who can blame them? First time that's ever happened on an awards show.

White House blames the victim of Obamacare regs

On Tuesday, TW posted this about  in the Wall Street Journal: White House Adviser Smears Cancer Patient Who Lost Her Health Insurance
The post included reaction to her piece from a White House official. This next article has more on the administration's treatment of Mrs. Sundby:

White House blames the victim of Obamacare regs  "For daring to expose the failures of Obamacare, Obama advisor Dan Pfeiffer immediately exploded with a misleading tweet citing a misleading article in a leftist publication falsely claiming her up to now fine insurance company dropped her because they couldn't take the competition.
"Wrong! The insurance company was just following the law; Pfeiffer's boss's namesake law.".... Ethel C. Fenig

So this guy walks into a bar...

As long as we're on the subject: Thanks, Suckers
"A 48-year-old California trial lawyer has some words of wisdom for the millenials who voted for Obama at Townhall.com.  I’ll let Kurt Schlichter convey his message in his own words.
What did you get? The chance to be forced to buy health insurance you don’t want at inflated rates so my rates can be lower. You get to pay more out of your monthly barista take – liberalism ensured that the tanked job market foreclosed a real career – so that I get to pay less out of my lawyer checks. Thanks, suckers.

 "Truth hurts Obamabots."

Obama's Latest Whopper, "Once Amnesty Passes, We Will Secure Border!" He says "trust me!"

 Obama's Promises
Voice of Lillpop   "So what if amnesty ruins the American economy, the concept of rule of law, and the rich heritage of American culture and language?

"Of paramount concern to Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin and like moon bats is preservation of their power and Marxist agenda—and to hell with American culture and language!

"To those still considering the merits of amnesty for 11-30 million foreign invaders, remember Obama’s whopper about health care: If you like your plan, you can keep it! PERIOD!' ”

'If you like your vowels...' Pat Sajak pokes fun at Obamacare

Pat Sajak, Wheel of Fortune

"Move over, political pundits. Even game show hosts are stepping out to poke fun at Obamacare.
"Chicago's Pat Sajak, famed host of "Wheel of Fortune," finds the confusion regarding the Obamacare law both maddening and hilarious. After Kathleen Sebelius testified before Congress yesterday, Sajak took to his Twitter account to have some fun, cleverly relating it all to a new method of buying vowels on his show."

Pat Sajak         @patsajak
Considering rule change for Wheel: If you like your vowels, you can keep your vowels.

A lot of confusion regarding new vowel policy. Guidelines are being written and will be posted online by November 31.

Obama Secret Service Agent: “It’s Worse Than People Know… and I’m Not Trying to Scare You Either”

bongino
shtfplan  (Pictured: Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino with President Obama)
Infowars  "Dan Bongino has protected numerous Presidents over his career, including President Obama. He has been within ear-shot of many a discussion in the Oval Office, but up until this administration has stayed out of the lime light. Apparently, however, the activities of this administration are so abhorrent that he could no longer keep quiet."

WND posts this:  "Starting his career in law enforcement with the NYPD in 1995, Bongino joined the ranks of the Secret Service in 1999 as a special agent where he was assigned to investigate financial crimes. In 2006, he entered into duty with the elite Presidential Protective Division in the administration of President George W. Bush and remained on protective duty during the change in administration to that of President Barack Obama. He resigned from the Secret Service in 2011 to run for a U.S. Senate seat in Maryland."

From Opposing Views: Dan Bongino Slams Obama for NSA Spying, but Not Bush   "For reasons unknown, Bongino did not mention why he didn't step forward for eight years during the Bush administration, which began the NSA spying on Americans."
Opposing views cites this open letter from Bongino"

Mr. President,
In one of your famous #Obamacare speeches you stated, “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.”

Well, as evidenced by the below letter, which my wife and I just received, you lied.
We did “like our plan” and were informed in this letter that our plan will no longer exist and we will be forced to purchase a new plan, from a website which doesn’t work, for a higher monthly premium, for services we don’t want.

Now, I know I am not one of your connected cronies and insiders, who were all given waivers from this disastrous piece of legislation. I was just one of the Secret Service agents who put my ass on the line for you every day, but I was still praying that given our middle-class existence, operating a small-business, that your “fundamental transformation” of America would have stayed out of our home. Apparently that is not the case as my public battle against your disastrous presidency has just become personal.
Regards,
Dan

Media Bistro; Secret Service Agent Saw White House Staff Dancing Like Seinfeld’s Elaine Umm...ok.  "When asked if there are any journalists out there who do their jobs well and don’t display the kind of biases he’s talking about, he quickly rattles off the usual suspects conservatives can compliment without frothing at the mouth: CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson, CNN’s Jake Tapper and Fox News’ Bret Baier."

AP: Obama Relies On ‘Staged Propaganda Photos’; Ya Think?
IJReview  "Editors of The Associated Press have condemned the White House’s refusal to give photojournalists access to Barack Obama, who prefers, instead, to release pictures taken by his own photographers.
"Incredibly, the AP has only been permitted to photograph Obama in the Oval Office on two occasions. Both were during his first term. All other pictures of Obama in his office were taken by paid White House photographers and distributed to the press. Here are a few of them for your viewing pleasure:
"Many of Obama’s staged photos are meant to show us what a normal, compassionate guy he is:"...

Sometimes, however, an unauthorized photo gets published:

Afterthoughts on the New Jersey/ Virginia elections

Republicans mull 'what ifs' in Cuccinelli race
"Ken Cuccinelli's suprisingly close race for Virginia governor has Tea Party Republicans steaming about a lack of support from the national party. Few Republicans in Washington gave Cuccinelli a chance in the race and most big money men kept their checkbooks closed."

Michael BaroneSome reflections on the Virginia and New Jersey elections
Excerpts of the full article included with each point.
1. The Obamacare rollout fiasco and Obama's lies hurt Democrats
Did Obamacare hurt? Well, the exit poll showed Virginia voters opposed rather than favored it by a 53 percent to 45 percent margin.
 2. The government shutdown didn’t much hurt Republicans.
Considering that individuals almost always poll better than groups of people—particularly Republicans (or, for that matter, Democrats) in Congress, this is a devastating result for Obama.
 3. Millennials are souring on Democrats.
But it also suggests that McAuliffe's last-minute campaigners Hillary Clinton (born 1947), Bill Clinton (born 1946) and (the not very technologically savvy) Obama (born 1961) don't necessarily strike a resonant chord with the younger segment of Millennials (born between 1984 and 1995).
 4. Hispanics and Asians didn't rush out for Democrats.
The New Jersey exit poll showed Christie carrying Hispanics 51 percent to 45 percent and losing heavily Hispanic (and historically hugely Democratic) Hudson County by only 55 percent to 44 percent. This is a great achievement that national Republicans need to study.
 5. Private-sector unions.
Democrat and union operatives helped Christie "rein in the outsized benefits and privileges of greedy and self-righteous public-sector unions in the state on the sensible theory that their hard-pressed members were paying for benefits far more lavish than they were getting themselves."
Ken Cuccinelli’s near miss sparks recriminations   "After Cuccinelli’s closer-than-expected loss, the defiant candidate and his supporters said the election results were only a blip on the radar of the larger conservative struggle as they blamed the defeat on Obamacare and a deluge of Democratic attack ads. Some Cuccinelli backers privately steamed that the national party did not do more to shore up Cuccinelli against Democrat Terry McAuliffe and his enormous war chest."  Jonah Goldberg agrees

The Betrayal of Ken Cuccinelli   "They said he was “unelectable.” The RNC put only $3 million into this race."

Can Christie make it on the national level?  "For all his notoriety and political acumen, neither his political nor his policy victories are directly translatable to the national stage."
