This cartoon could have been drawn about Hitler and UK Prime Minister Chamberlain ... (Updated)

... when the good guys surrendered ally Czechoslovakia to the Nazis.

UPDATE: Tonight I’m Gonna Party Like It’s 19[3]9 (The Muslim War on Israel)   ... "The problem is that after almost a century, Israel is not just the object of genocide by the Arabs but by many Iranian, Turkish, and newly European and North American Muslims. It is truly awesome how few politically active would-be peacemakers among Arabs and Middle Eastern Muslims there are.

Closing of monuments defines Obama legacy

Park Rangers Ordered to ‘Make Life Difficult’ During Shutdown   “ 'It’s a cheap way to deal with the situation,” an angry Park Service ranger in Washington says of the harassment. “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.' ”

Jacksonville N.C. Daily News  ... "In every government shutdown in past years, never have parks and monuments been closed. These areas have been and continue to be preserved for the people of this country. They are there for the enjoyment of nature’s wonders, and to honor of American heroes. By closing the Grand Canyon, he prevented anyone from going and looking at a big hole in the ground. The Lincoln Memorial is just a statue. There is no reason why people shouldn’t be able to look at it. On top of this, he closed down the World War II memorial and installed barricades to keep 80- and 90-year-old veterans from visiting a monument dedicated to them and their fallen brothers and sisters." ...

Celebrities Then and Now: Class vs. Crass

That was then...
Big Hollywood  "The stars of today have lost that mystique of yore and became not only LIKE everyone else, but proved to be WORSE than everyone else. The respect for them evaporated, resentments rose and like Humpty Dumpty, they came crashing down off that pedestal.
"The stars had started openly flaunting their private lives, dressing sloppily, telling all of their personal secrets on TV interviews and using vulgarity, something that would have been unheard of with the stars of a classier time."
Rev*. Austin Miles    *How sad that he has to share the same honorific with Rev. Sharpton. One more case of class vs. crass, I suppose.

This is now, and wouldn't you say we are much the poorer for it?

Iran good, Israeli infidels bad.

Political Cartoons by Steve Breen
Rick Moran Entire article here:
"Iran, demonstrating its new leaf turned over as a result of their nuclear deal with the west, had some charming words for Israel.
Daily Caller:
"This vicious temperament of dogs and pigs is you (Israel)," said Ayatollah Mohammad Imami Kashani, a member of the Assembly of Experts, the body that appoints the supreme leader, at Tehran's interim Friday prayer. "The Quran has marked on your foreheads that you will be humiliated. The Zionist officials are like animals, and truly as rogue thugs they do whatever they want, killing people, creating bloodshed and destroying whatever they want."
Kashani said at this week's Friday prayers sermon in Tehran that whenever Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appears on television, "all of the world hates you. You are hated, humiliated and despicable and," the ayatollah added in a putrid insult to make to a Jew, "have been immersed in the flesh of rabid dogs and pigs."
They certainly have become lovable Islamists, haven't they? All soft sentiment and full of the brotherhood of man:
Kashani also had harsh words for the Obama administration: "Nations of the world are the enemies of the Zionists and (America's support of Israel) will have you share the misery of the Zionists."
Kashani stated that uranium enrichment is Iran's right and that America, Britain and Israel lie when they say Iran wants the nuclear bomb.
Last Sunday, Iran and the 5+1 world powers - the five permanent U.N. Security Council members plus Germany - reached agreement in Geneva over Iran's illicit nuclear program.
Under the agreement, Iran, in return for billions of dollars in sanctions relief, will keep much of its nuclear infrastructure, is limited to enriching uranium at the 5 percent level for six months, will convert its stock of highly enriched uranium of 20 percent to harmless oxide and will allow more intrusive inspections of its nuclear plants by the International Atomic Energy Agency, which will be limited to only agreed-on facilities.
Keep in mind that this isn'[t] some rabid blogger sitting in his parent's basement in Tehran scrbbling(sp) nonsense. This is a member of the Assembly of Experts, a leadership position in Iran.
C'Mon, guys. Tell us what you really think of the Jews.

Obama Regime Calls Netanyahu “Desperate And Weak”…  "Israeli television Channel 10 quoted the officials as saying “His pronouncements show a lack of self-confidence,” in an unusually harsh personal attack on Netanyahu. “We are not perturbed by his vocal opposition.' ”

"Freebirds": Birds good, Man bad. Go see "Frozen" instead.

WND  "But in the hit new animated film, “Frozen,” Walt Disney Studios hits on a surprisingly definitive – and surprisingly biblical – definition of “love” that should inspire families and discerning audiences to, well, fall in “love” with this gem of a movie.

“ 'Frozen” is first and foremost an incredibly well-made film. The animation is top-notch and reflects both a classic look and the best advances modern technology has made. The story, if a bit rushed and frenetic at times, is also a take on the classics with a fresh, new twist. It’s funny, beautiful, heart-warming, and the music (for “Frozen” is really a Broadway-quality musical set to animation) is astounding."

Free Birds is Anything but Family Fun   ..."In their efforts to save turkeykind the birds determine to use whatever means necessary, even if it means bumping off humans in the process. Mind you, considering the way people are portrayed in this movie, you can see their point. Both Pilgrim fathers and modern citizens are shown as stupid, self-centered villains. Maybe I'm too sensitive but I don't think the suffering and starvation of early settlers is something to laugh about. A pilgrim actually dies in what is apparently meant to be a humorous exclamation point to the governor's comments. It's not funny." ...

The Top 20 Worst Chris Matthews Quotes Calling Obama Critics Racist

Media Research Center  "In Matthews’ mind, any opposition to the President is due to racism on the right. Name almost any issue that President Obama has faced confrontation on, and the MSNBC host has cited racism as the root cause. The real reason for the shutdown? Racism! Opposition to the Affordable Care Act? Racism! Voting for Mitt Romney? Racism! The rise of the Tea Party? Racism!
"The following is a countdown of the Top 20 Worst Chris Matthews Quotes Calling Obama Critics Racist:"
....
“What does your study tell you about the nature of the racial piece here of the Tea Party?...Is it sort of a resumption of the Old South, of the way things were before the Civil War, for example?...Is it like that old dreamy nostalgia you get in the old movies, you know what I mean? Gone With the Wind? Is it that kind of America they want to bring back or what? When they don't, where there were no gays, where blacks were slaves, where Mexicans were in Mexico? I mean, is this what they want?”

Calif. City Bans Smoking in Homes

NRO  "San Rafael residents will no longer be allowed to smoke in their homes thanks to a new ordinance passed by the city council. Under the new bill, residents of the California city will be subject to the toughest anti-smoking law in the country.
"Under Assembly Bill 746, it would be illegal for people to smoke in their home if it shares a wall with another housing unit.
"The Washington Times reports that supporters of the initiative cite that secondhand smoke can travel through shared ventilation system’s in condos or apartment buildings. “It doesn’t matter if it’s owner-occupied or renter-occupied,” one of the ordinance’s writers reportedly said. “The distinguishing feature is the shared wall.' ”

Reason Magazine; It Is Now Illegal To Smoke In Your Own Home In San Rafael, California
I don't like cigarettes, and I've never taken a puff. My sympathies aren't with smokers because I am one, it's because of the huge growth in laws and punishments and government restricting people more and more. Illinois' criminal code was 72 pages long in 1965; today it's more than 1,300 pages long.

Obama: We’re Investigating My Own Obliviousness On Obamacare Website…

Weasel Zippers

“Obviously my most recent concern has been that my website’s not working,” Obama said. “We’re evaluating why it is exactly that I didn’t know soon enough that it wasn’t going to work the way it needed to. But my priority now has been to just make sure that it works.”

Obamacare wins most improved healthcare plan for the month of November

Sebelius Posts “Tips” On Signing Up For Obamacare On Far-Left Blog Huffington Post…

Tattering the Safety Net   "Here is irony: the people who talk the most about the need for a social safety net (including the president himself!) are cheerleaders for a health reform that is going to shred it.
"How is that happening? By means of the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare)."

Still More ObamaCare Lies   ... "In speech after speech these days, Obama tries to shift blame for the ongoing ObamaCare debacles onto the backs of Republicans.
"In late November, for example, Obama complained that "instead of rooting for failure, or refighting old battles, Republicans in Congress need to work with us to improve those things about the Affordable Care Act that aren't working as well as they should."
"Obama's attempt to escape responsibility for the failure of his signature domestic achievement isn't surprising. But in this case, he's falsifying the record." ...  Via Lucianne

Common Core “compensation” mathematics a metaphor for Obamacare

Legal Insurrection
Common Core Compensation

"Compensation means how much you get paid, right? Or payment for a loss? Or any of the other common usages, right?
"Reader Bronwyn was not happy when she learned that in Common Core mathematics, compensation means encouraging students to guess the wrong but easier answer, then teaching them how to compensate for the wrong answer to get to the right result:
My 4th grade daughter attends a Christian school here in Orange Co., Ca.
I do not like their choice in a common core math book at all, but I have been particularly amused by the use of the term “compensation.”
The teachers actually had to send home an email because none of the parents had any idea what the term meant. I attached a copy of the definition in the book because it just seems so fitting during this Obama Administration.
“compensation: you choose numbers close to the numbers in the problem to make the computation easier and then adjust the answer for the numbers chosen.”
All this under the lesson- Using mental math to multiply. This must be Obama’s math!
Here we parents thought it was how we got paid?
"Here’s the question posed to the students to which the featured image was the answer:"
Common Core Using Mental Math to multiply

This may make it all clear:

Just how bad are things going in America under Obama?

Rick Moran   "Things are so bad that one candidate for governor in Georgia, Jason Carter, is banking on people being nostalgic for the good old days when his grandfather Jimmy was president."  Politico:
hope n change

So, how about those talks with Iran?

"Mark Steyn’s new column is a must read…"
In Geneva, the participants came to the talks with different goals: The Americans and Europeans wanted an agreement; the Iranians wanted nukes. Each party got what it came for. Before the deal, the mullahs’ existing facilities were said to be within four to seven weeks of nuclear “breakout”; under the new constraints, they’ll be eight to nine weeks from breakout. In return, they get formal international recognition of their enrichment program, and the gutting of sanctions — and everything they already have is, as they say over at Obamacare, grandfathered in.
DEBKAfile; Enough enriched uranium in Iran for 4 nuclear weapons. N-Bomb awaits Saudis in Pakistan  "Saudi King Abdullah and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu were not won over by President Barack Obama's pledges in personal phone calls to the two Middle East leaders last week."

The US- provided nuclear umbrella - hated for so long by Obama's "pacifist" allies on the left - has been removed. Now we will see how dangerous this world will become because of those voters with the "COEXIST" and "Obama" bumper stickers on their cars.
Political Cartoons by Jerry Holbert

Read this and tell me if Obama and the US are respected in Pakistan:  The Iranian nation stood its ground in front of the U.S., so America retreated.  "What Imran Khan said about the U.S., that it first glowers, but then retreats if you stand your ground, has proved to be 100 percent accurate. The Iranian nation stood its ground in front of the U.S., so America retreated. The U.S. knew that if an understanding were not reached then Israel’s security would be endangered."

Jay Leno: Obama Told Iran 'If You Like Your Uranium, You Can Keep Your Uranium'

Arab News has a much different perspective on US-Iran: "But the game is not over yet. Israel’s influence in the US Congress is still immense, and its Congressional allies are already talking about heaping more sanctions on Iran (in order to kill the deal, though they don’t admit that).
"President Obama could veto those new sanctions, of course, but he will find it a lot harder to get Congress to revoke the existing sanctions if the final deal is done six months from now. That’s why Iran gets so little relief from sanctions now in return for its concessions: Obama needs more time to work on Congress. But Israel may still win this tug-of-war."

: Iran Deal and Munich: A Fair Comparison?  "Is he right? There are those who will claim it is impossible to compare any event with one that is associated with the Holocaust and still win an argument. But whether you think the deal is as bad as Stephens thinks or whether the price of a mistake with Iran is as costly as the West’s miscalculations about Hitler, the real answer depends on whether Iran betrays Obama."

Did you imagine ever seeing a cartoon like this?

Iranian Centrifuge Advances   "Iran will be able to significantly diminish its breakout timing within the constraints of the interim agreement."
Which is in disagreement with the Arab News piece above.
