What Has America Become?

Gorena.org "Has America become the land of the special interest and home of the double standard?
"Lets see: if we lie to the Congress, it’s a felony and if the Congress lies to us its just politics; if we dislike a black person, we’re racist and if a black dislikes whites, it’s their First Amendment right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK, but you better not use the word God in the process; you can kill an unborn child, but it is wrong to execute a mass murderer; we don’t burn books in America, we now rewrite them; we got rid of the communist and the Socialist threat by renaming them progressives; we are unable to close our border with Mexico but have no problem protecting the 38th parallel in Korea; if you protest against President Obama’s policies you’re a terrorist but if you burned an American flag or George Bush in effigy it was your First Amendment right.
"You can have pornography on TV or the Internet, but you better not put a nativity scene in a public park during Christmas; we have eliminated all criminals in America, they are now called sick people; we can use a human fetus for medical research but it’s wrong to use an animal.
"We take money from those who work hard for it and give it to those who don’t want to work; we all support the Constitution, but only when it supports our political ideology; we still have freedom of speech, but only if we are being politically correct; parenting has been replaced with Ritalin and video games; the land of opportunity is now the land of handouts; the similarity between Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf Oil spill is that neither president did anything to help.
"And how do we handle a major crisis today? The government appoints a committee to determine who’s at fault, then threatens them, passes a law, raises our taxes; tells us the problem is solved so they can get back to their re-election campaign.

DNC Blacklisting Of Fox News Proves GOP Needs To Fight Media

"When are Republicans going to stop playing by two sets of rules?"

Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist  . . . "DNC Chair Tom Perez cited an article written by liberal journalist Jane Mayer of The New Yorker for his decision. Her article alleged that Fox News Channel, which has been less hostile and hysterical about the man elected president by the United States electorate than its counterparts at every other television outlet, was too close to the Donald Trump White House.

"Fox News’ opinion hosts include Trump-loving Sean Hannity. Its news hosts, including Bret Baier, Martha MacCallum, Shannon Bream, and Chris Wallace, are far more objective than those at other broadcast media outlets. Liberal Trump critic Shep Smith is also billed as a news host. Other media outlets frequently blur the line between news and opinion, with CNN hosts Jake Tapper, Brian Stelter, Chris Cuomo, and Don Lemon mixing their liberal opinions with occasional bouts of news.

Ann Coulter: ‘Idiot Republicans’ Surrender When Democrats ‘Mouth the Word Racism’

Breitbart  "Ann Coulter lamented Republican weakness in the face of accusations of “racism” from Democrats and the broader left in a Wednesday-aired interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

"The status quo of demographic change is an existential threat to American cultural continuity, warned Coulter.

“ 'I judge all politicians on their stand on the most important issue of our era [and] generation, and it decides whether America lives or dies,” said Coulter. “That is immigration.”

"Coulter continued, “So I’ve been, for a long time, pretty tough on Rand Paul, because he was terrible on immigration. “He was Mr. Amnesty, remember? He was taking Rupert Murdoch to the Kentucky Derby, and Rupert Murdoch is famously open borders.”
"Coulter went on, “So I’m not wild about Rand Paul’s instincts on these things, but he actually has been great on a lot of other issues. He’s very good on the don’t-start-wars-around-the-globe issue for no purpose, killing off our best Americans. He’s been fantastic on that.”
Coulter added, “I’m hesitant to be too critical, but I think [Rand Paul] is going back to being, ‘I’m going to be Mr. Principled Libertarian and please admire me for my principles,’ which is good, you can all slap one another on the back when we’re in the gulags together because you’re about to wreck our country.”
"Illegal immigration and the southern border’s porousness dually constitute a national emergency, assessed Coulter:
"On its face, I think it’s a nonsense position to say this isn’t a national emergency. Look at the other national emergencies Rand Paul has signed off on. I tweeted a few of them last night. We still have like 28 active national emergencies, things like transferring property to anyone who would upset the Middle East peace process or who would upset peace in the Balkans, who would upset the ongoing negotiations in Zimbabwe. How many Americans are going to die if we don’t call any of those national emergencies? Any? Would one American so much as be inconvenienced by anything that happens in the Congo or Zimbabwe? Those are national emergencies. Rand Paul’s happy to sign on to those. But here we have a literal national emergency that president after president, Congress after Congress, has refused to deal with. That’s why Donald Trump was elected." . . .

    Hillary!

    Expiration Candidates

. . . "Mind you, we do believe that Hillary has no intention of "running." This is, after all, a woman who has to pay heavily-muscled men to carry her up and down stairs when not dragging her limp body into a waiting getaway van after a public appearance.

"But not for a second do we believe she's given up her all-encompassing obsession with becoming President. Rather, we expect her to maintain an active public profile while all the other Dems batter each other on the stump, after which she'll step out on the blood-soaked battlefield and graciously accept the "draft Hillary" movement which someone with no traceable connection to the Clinton Foundation has thoughtfully and generously funded."

WaPo Fact Checker Finds Hillary Clinton Got A Lot Wrong In Claims Of Voter Suppression     . . . "After Hillary Clinton claimed somewhere between 40,000 and 80,000 people were turned away from the polls because of their skin in Wisconsin during the 2016 presidential election, The Washington Post fact checker had to give her “four Pinocchios” for being “wrong on multiple levels' .” . . .

"I spoke to the creators of Belgium’s anti-Semitic carnival float. They’re not sorry."

The Belgians fought the Nazis valiantly during the WW2 occupation by Hitler. But one needs to be aware that many of them joined the Nazi SS to fight alongside Himmler, Hitler, and Goering. TD

"I initially had some sympathy for the creators of an anti-Semitic carnival float in Belgium.
"Studying their CVs and past creations for the annual carnival of Aalst, I saw that they were a group of some 20 upstanding citizens — a fireman, a technician, an Education Ministry official and a police department employee, to name a few. They had invested countless unpaid hours to produce something they thought was beautiful but ended up horrifying viewers all over the world.
"Their creation, which they unveiled Sunday at Belgium’s most celebrated carnival, featured two huge puppets depicting pink-clad haredi Orthodox Jews. One of them leers while smoking a cigar, a rat perched on his shoulder. Against a synagogue facade, the puppets have money bags at their feet. A platform following the float carried revelers dressed like the puppets who danced to a song about “bulging coffers” and “Jews getting extra fat.' ” . . .

Bernie Sanders Slams Effort to Condemn Ilhan Omar

"The Washington Free Beacon reported on Wednesday that Sanders has added staffers with ties to the anti-Israel community."

Free Beacon  "Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) came out against the now-stalled push by Democratic leadership in the House to condemn anti-Semitism as a response to comments from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.).

"In a Wednesday afternoon statement, Sanders said he viewed the effort to condemn anti-Semitism in the House as a way to stifle debate on Israel.

"Anti-Semitism is a hateful and dangerous ideology which must be vigorously opposed in the United States and around the world," Sanders said. "We must not, however, equate anti-Semitism with legitimate criticism of the right-wing, Netanyahu government in Israel."

"What I fear is going on in the House now is an effort to target Congresswoman Omar as a way of stifling that debate," he said. "That's wrong".

"Sanders further called for "an even-handed Middle East policy which brings Israelis and Palestinians together for a lasting peace."

"The statement from Sanders comes as debate rages within the Democratic caucus in the House on how to respond to the latest anti-Semitic comments from Omar, who last week suggested during a far-left townhall meeting that supporters of Israel have "allegiance to a foreign country."

"Omar, like Sanders is now suggesting, said during the event that efforts to label her were an effort to stifle debate." . . .

Kamala Harris Defends Omar After Latest Anti-Semitic Outburst, Says She’s The Real Victim…  . . . “ 'We all have a responsibility to speak out against anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, racism, and all forms of hatred and bigotry,” Harris said.
“ 'But like some of my colleagues in the Congressional Black Caucus, I am concerned that the spotlight being put on Congresswoman Omar may put her at risk,” she added." . . .

Rick Moran: Democrats can't decide whether to come out of the closet as anti-Semites or not  "The Democrats find themselves in a bind over whether or not they should acknowledge that a sizable segment of their party are antisemites. They had a chance yesterday to go on record with a strong statement condemning antisemitism and ended up panicking when the party's radical left wing pushed back." . . .

"There's really no excuse for this. These and other more "mainstream" Democrats are pretending that the antisemitic comments by Omar aren't the issue; the issue is hate directed against Omar that "may put her at risk." It's certain to make the radical antisemites in the party feel better about themselves because they want US policy to be more "even handed" - accept the murderous Palestinians as legitimate "partners" and push Israel to commit suicide."  Emphasis added by TD

Democrat James Clyburn Utters Most INSANE Defense Yet Of Ilhan Omar

No matter if you like President Trump or now, he stands between us and these terrifying leftists

    One can only hope.
Get Trump's Kids? The smarter Democrats are steering clear. The dumber ones? Not so much...   . . . "Because the fact of the matter is, when you're obviously going after someone's kids in a desperate bid to take down the old man, because you can't get the old man, the voters are going to see what's happening and get pretty disgusted.  It's an appalling state of affairs to see the prosecutorial dragnet target the kids and their spouses, who after all had little to say about who their father is. Ivanka, Jared Kushner, Don Jr. and Eric Trump are all potentially in the crossfire now. Internal polls and general voter behavior suggest that voters find this bad stuff and that does get some of these Democrats' attention. No wonder they have the willies.

"But in the Politico report, these three were the only cited examples. There's also an abundant supply of the other kind of Democrats, the kind who can't stop themselves and want to see an attack on all fronts to take down the kids, too. Do they outnumber the smarter Democrats?" . . .
. . . Should the kids of Joe Biden and John Kerry, both of whom have gotten immensely rich in matters linked to their father's position in public office, suddenly be targets of find-something, find-anything probes? How about the kids of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi? And then there are the Kenndy kids - a look there can find all kinds of stuff. Shall the 'can indict a ham sandwich' style of prosecution be leveled at those kids, too? Anything that can be done on one side can be done on the other. Democrats, who changed House and Senate rules in the belief that theirs was permanent political power, looked on in dismay as Republicans took power and captured their weapons.  . . .

Joe DiGenova has advice for all 81 targets of House Dems’ ‘fishing expedition’ on Trump: ‘Everyone should take the 5th…’

BPR  "Former federal prosecutor and Fox News contributor Joe DiGenova tore into the Democratic Party for the sprawling probe of President Donald Trump that not only targets his administration and campaign, but also goes after the president’s family members.

"Appearing on “The Story,” where host Martha MacCallum reminded viewers that the Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee “uses language to remind everyone this is the committee that launched Watergate” and that “it’s clear” they are heading toward impeachment, DiGenova said those who received document requests should refuse to respond.

“ 'This is a perjury trap,” DiGenova insisted. “It is not a legitimate investigation, it’s a fishing expedition. They are trying to get people up there to make them look bad so they can try to make the president look bad.”

"He also said Carter Page “is the last person who should talk to them,” saying he was framed by the FBI in an attempt to use a FISA warrant to go after the president.

“What the committee is going to try to do with Carter Page is make him look like he was a Russian spy when he wasn’t so they can dirty him up and refer him to the Justice Department for perjury,” the former prosecutor said.

" 'No one should talk to this committee,” he added. “Everyone should take the 5th and if everyone takes the 5th, the American people will understand that this isn’t a legitimate investigation. It’s political theater and disgraceful conduct approved of by the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.”
"And make no mistake, President Trump is the ultimate target." . . .

2020 Dems Avoiding Red, White and Blue Colors

    Tony Branco
    Frontpage  "Unsurprising.

"The Dem base consists of people who would rather burn an American flag than hug one.
"These are primaries which means that the lefty fringe will be overepresented(sp) and red, white and blue will just trigger them. Plus the hipster design studios they'll be relying on are stocked full of the same people. Add on the fact that the rest of the base will lean heavily toward tribal demos and it's a sure thing.

Of the now 14 different Democratic candidates officially running for office in 2020, just four have what might be considered "traditional" logos incorporating the red, white, and blue of the American flag. The rest of the presidential hopefuls have branded their campaigns with hues of "liberty green" to hot pink to vintage yellow. And as each of their future lawn signs serves to prove, this crop of candidates is appealing to a new demographic of voters, and turning the tide on a dated portrait of America. (Emphases in the original)

    "Or, more accurately, on America.

"The alternatives though are seventy shades of ugly. Vintage faded colors straight from the seventies make everything look like an Instagram filter from hell. I don't think Biden will go this route, but you can count on much of the 2020 field looking like an old album cover, which will hand Trump the logo victory by default." . . .

Media Magic: How a Democrat Pedophile Became a 'Trump Scandal'

Ann Coulter    "Strangely, the media have suddenly taken an intense interest in the case of pedophile and
     major Democratic donor Jeffrey Epstein.

"In 2005, the Palm Beach police were told by the mother of a young girl in West Palm Beach that her daughter had been brought to the Democratic donor's mansion and asked to have sex with him for money. This kicked off an intensive, one-year undercover investigation.

"The police sifted through Epstein's garbage and interviewed 17 witnesses, including the housemen, who told of sex toys and dildos left behind after the underage girls left. One of Epstein's procurers, a 20-year-old local woman named Haley Robson, who was paid $200 for every teenaged girl she brought to Jeffrey, was cooperating with police, telling them she was like "Heidi Fleiss." They obtained statements from five of Epstein's young victims, who said they'd been paid $200 to $300 to engage in various sex acts with him. Police raided Epstein's home, finding explicit photographs of teenaged girls, incriminating phone records -- and one girl's high school transcript.

"But when the police chief brought this mountain of evidence to Palm Beach County's Democratic prosecutor Barry Krischer, he punted, charging the Democrat child molester with only one count of soliciting prostitution -- yes, the child victims were labeled "prostitutes" -- and offered Epstein probation.

"Perhaps Krischer was exhausted, having just spent three years hounding Rush Limbaugh for abusing back pain medication.

"Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter exploded in rage. (Meanwhile, Epstein claimed to be the victim of an anti-Semitic conspiracy on Palm Beach.) Chief Reiter wrote an open letter to Krischer asking the Democrat to remove himself from the case. Then he turned to the Bush administration to seek justice against a Democratic donor/accused child rapist.

"As stories go, a child sex case involving a Palm Beach billionaire was pretty big. It was covered in the British press, in Florida media, at The New York Post and at Fox News. Bill O'Reilly led with the story on his Fox News show.

"But CNN and MSNBC did not breathe a word about a Democratic prosecutor refusing to hold a Democratic child rapist accountable." . . .
