Why can't Mitt Romney please just go away and take Hillary with him? Please.

http://www.terrellaftermath.com/
Mitt Romney, Mr. Unreliable  "Mitt Romney, commenting about the Trump pull-out of U.S. troops in northern Syria, says America is "an unreliable ally."

"Hey, Mitt: America demonstrated that she's an unreliable ally a long time ago in that one war over in southeast Asia that you missed out on.  Remember that war?  The one where our allies were doing just fine 'til Congress cut them off?  You might wanna compare notes with John Kerry; it's seared into his brain.
"Let's talk some more about unreliable allies.  When Mitt expressed interest in the SecState job, and in spite of Romney's unfriendliness, Donald Trump interviewed him for the position.  Even before the president decided on the pick, Mitt was over in Europe, bad-mouthing his own president.
"Then when Mitt was running for the Senate in Utah, and despite the above backstabbery, he sought and got an ally in Trump.  The president went to Utah and spoke up for Candidate Romney.  Soon after winning the election, the same Mitt Romney published a lengthy op-ed in the Washington Post assassinating the president's character.
"Talk about "an unreliable ally.' " . . .

Remember Romney's Anti-Trump WashPo Op-Ed  . . . "Where else other than the Washington Post (aka publishers of deep state propaganda and fake news), would Romney publish such a blistering op-ed of the President?

"Forever the globalist, Romney begins with the type of attack he did not deliver during his failed 2012 presidential run against Barack Obama’s massive purge of the U. S. Military."

Romney called A Well-Oiled Weather Vane
Breitbart's John Nolte has a lower opinion of Romney than that.  . . . "Let’s first dispel with the idea that Romney wrote this op-ed out of some pressing moral need to condemn Trump’s supposed indecency. Decent people don’t contribute to the far-left Washington Post, a news outlet that published a countless number of lies to sabotage Romney, that attacks the children of Republicansthat tells almost as many lies as CNN." . . .

Remember the Democrats and Kavanaugh

. . . "For all we know, and with memory of the Kavanaugh hearings still stuck in our craw, this new "whistleblower" may be claiming to have seen a youthful President Trump spiking punch bowls at parties, after which he steered helpless, drugged heads of state into a bedroom where he forced them to say dirty things about Joe Biden.
"And we...don't...care.
"The funny thing about credibility, as the Left has failed to notice, is that once it's gone you can't get it back. Which is why no number of Democrat-coached "whistleblowers" can impress us at this point... nor can they make us spend any more time blogging about it than we want to. Which ain't much." . . .

Chuck Todd and the Demise of True Journalism

Chuck Todd and the Demise of True Journalism

. . . "But far from being a laudable moment of press accountability, the “Meet the Press” interview was a disappointing turn for Todd and the show, once one of the media’s flagship brands. Indeed, the full interview illustrated how the media are increasingly obsessed with performative demonstrations of their political views, and less concerned with simply being informative." . . .
The bottom line is that if most of the people watching this exchange had someone – even a friend -- question their sincerity and call them a lackey, they wouldn’t put up with it. And it’s infinitely worse to have an ostensibly professional journalist question someone’s integrity this way on national TV.
Mark Levin: MSNBC’s Chuck Todd is “unhinged” and a “disgrace”
. . . "Todd interviewed Johnson on the Democrats’ impeachment efforts and the whistleblower complaint against President Trump’s phone call with Ukraine’s president. During the interview, Todd asked Johnson about a Wall Street Journal report quoting the senator saying he “winced” at the claim that Trump withheld military aid for Ukraine to leverage an investigation of Joe Biden’s potential corruption.
"When Johnson insisted that the president is being undermined by members of the intelligence community and said Todd is biased because he would not ask former CIA Director John Brennan about text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, Todd accused Johnson of pushing “Fox News conspiracy propaganda stuff.” Todd and Johnson went on to yell and interrupt each other as they debated." . . .

2018: NBC Meet the Press Host Chuck Todd & Dems Responsible for Alt-Left Domestic Terrorist Attack on Fox Affiliate (?)
"A violent brainwashed leftist criminal repeatedly rammed his truck into the FOX studios after Chuck Todd told his viewers to “start fighting back” against FOX News.". . . Democrats and the corrupt Fake News Media have been openly calling for their supporters to commit harassment and violence against all conservatives for quite some time, and now CNN, NBC and Chuck Todd appear to have driven one of their mindlessly unhinged viewers to act on their calls for violence.
"CNN, NBC, Chuck Todd and many other leftists were lucky that nobody was hurt or killed in their supporter’s domestic terrorist attack on FOX, but very soon these unhinged violent brainwashed leftist criminals will kill someone, and the Democrats and Fake News Media will have blood on their hands." . . .

Bongino, a Fox News contributor, said Johnson should have "walked off" the set and "no credible Republican should appear on that show again." He said Johnson is owed an apology from Todd.

This "truth-challenged" Democrat coup MUST fail

"He's right to keep away from it, because the revelations are now rolling out that this is a coup attempt from an embittered opposition. For the sake of preserving our democratic system, good for him for giving this farce the contempt it deserves."  Monica Showalter
Photosnark by Rich Terrell
So who's the Democratic candidate the 'whistleblower' had a 'professional relationship' with?  "The Democrats' impeachment show just keeps getting less and less credible, and more and more disgusting.
"The latest is from Byron York at the Washington Examiner, who reports that the so-called 'whistleblower' had a "professional relationship" with an unnamed Democratic Party presidential candidate:
Under questioning from Republicans during last Friday's impeachment inquiry interview with [Michael] Atkinson, the [intelligence community's] inspector general revealed that the whistleblower's possible bias was not that he was simply a registered Democrat. It was that he had a significant tie to one of the Democratic presidential candidates currently vying to challenge President Trump in next year's election.  . . .
WHY SCHIFF?   Lindsey Graham on the Democrat impeachment effort   . . . "The Intelligence Committee is where the truth-challenged Chairman Adam Schiff is orchestrating the impeachment action." . . .

Byron York: Whistleblower had 'professional' tie to 2020 Democratic candidate  . . . "All three sources said Atkinson did not identify the Democratic candidate with whom the whistleblower had a connection. It is unclear what the working or professional relationship between the two was." . . .

President Trump: Now the Whistleblower Must Apologize to Me and Stop Ridiculous Impeachment

South Park Gives the NBA a Lesson in How to Stand Up to China

So much for liberal virtue-signalling. If the NBA/ Rockets had attacked President Trump with some trashy halftime show they would have been on safe ground with the left and even praised as "courageous" by Hollywood. I like what "South Park" has done, but still wouldn't want my family to watch it in general. TD

National Review
Though it’s tough for any company to risk access to the Chinese market, assisting a totalitarian regime in attempting to silence critics is beyond the pale.

"Businesses operating in a globalized world must sometimes make compromises to accommodate autocratic regimes as they expand abroad, but it is essential that they don’t abandon their core values in the process. This has been brought into stark relief over the past few days, as the Chinese state has sought to punish the National Basketball Association and the television show South Park for separate criticisms of its totalitarian practices, and the former shamefully caved while the latter responded with defiance.

"After Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted a statement supportive of the ongoing protests in Hong Kong late last week, China quickly moved to punish the team: The Chinese Basketball Association suspended its cooperation with the Rockets and announced that the streaming service Tencent would not be airing Rockets games for this upcoming season. The Rockets’ owner, Tillman Fertita, no doubt feeling Chinese pressure, publicly rebuked Morey and clarified that the GM’s comments did not represent the view of the team or the NBA. The franchise’s star player, James Harden, publicly apologized to China, and Morey deleted the tweet and issued an apologetic statement of his own. The NBA sent out an incoherent press release affirming its support for individuals’ educating themselves, the Chinese version of which even labeled Morey’s tweet inappropriate. The message was clear: The league would prioritize its relationship with China over any commitment to democratic values.

"The league was roundly criticized for its cowardice. Politicians on both sides of the aisle spoke out against its willingness to immediately fold in the face of China’s anti-Morey campaign, and with good reason. After all, this is the same NBA that consistently touts its leadership on social-justice issues and was even quick to boycott a whole state a few years ago because of a law it didn’t like, and here it was pathetically groveling before a brutal totalitarian regime in a doomed attempt to preserve its standing in the massive Chinese market." . . .

Chuck Todd Mocks ‘40 Percent of the Country’ That Ignores ‘Reality’

MRC  "As NewsBusters has previously reported, Meet the Press host Chuck Todd had a combative exchange with Republican Senator Ron Johnson Sunday; where the supposedly “objective” NBC News political director put his liberal bias on full display. Shortly after wrapping up the interview with Johnson, Todd rapidly transformed into a lapdog when interviewing former CIA Director John Brennan. Todd encouraged Brennan into advancing the narrative that America has lost its “stability” as a democracy and worried about the 40 percent of Americans who are ignoring “reality.”
"Todd sympathized with Brennan; telling him “You have been completely character assassinated and eviscerated.” For his part, Brennan slammed President Trump for his “dishonesty and his complete obliteration of the norms of honesty in terms of his public statements” and referred to him as a “bully.' ” . . .

READ: White House letter to Pelosi rejecting cooperation in impeachment inquiry

The Hill  "The White House on Tuesday sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and other top Democrats saying it would not cooperate with their impeachment inquiry into President Trump over his dealings with Ukraine.
"Accusing Pelosi and her colleagues of "seeking to overturn the results of the 2016 election," White House counsel Pat Cipollone in his letter said Trump and members of his administration "cannot participate in your partisan and unconstitutional inquiry under these circumstances" but stopped short of calling for the House to hold a vote on impeachment.

Trump Administration Orders EU Ambassador Not to Testify in Impeachment Probe

. . . "However, as many conservative outlets stressed, the transcript of the phone call with Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shows Trump did not threaten to withhold aid. Zelensky has confirmed no one pressured him into starting an investigation."

Democrats Constructing Impeachment Star Chamber of Whistleblowers and Leakers
Weaponization of whistleblower laws is yet another breach of norms in an effort to unwind the 2016 election and manipulate the 2020 election.
Democrats must honor the Constitution and the rule of law more than they hate this President. They fail in this. TD

"Circulating claims of Trump-Russian collusion prior to the 2016 election didn’t work.
Using foreign-supplied fake intelligence, from a British spy who utilized Russian sources, to obtain surveillance of the Trump campaign and transition team didn’t work.
"Intimidating Electoral College Electors to change their votes after the election didn’t work.
Having the Director of the FBI lie to, set up and try to entrap the president didn’t work.
"Having that same FBI Director leak memos to the media to manufacture grounds for a Special Counsel didn’t work.
"Trying to invoke the 25th Amendment to declare the president unable to perform the job didn’t work.
"Two years of the Mueller Investigation didn’t work.
"Three years of a permanent crisis news cycle meant to paralyze the administration didn’t work.
"After all these failures to unwind the 2016 election, Democrats and the mainstream media are trying a new tactic: Create a Star Chamber “impeachment” process fueled by anonymous whistleblowers and selective leaks that is not so much designed to remove the president, though they would if they could, but to manipulate the 2020 election." . . .

Not a president in a carload

Don Surber

"Old Gold cigarettes once bragged in advertisements, "Not a cough in a carload." It meant not a cough would be found in a boxcar of Old Golds. That may be true, but each carload contains plenty of cancer.

"In looking at the panorama of the Democrat candidates at ABC's debate, I noticed 2 things were missing.

  1. An American flag.
  2. An American president.
"These were the top 10 candidates. None had served as a governor. One was a mayor. Another had been a minor cabinet member. I am not sure exactly what the private sector guy does besides remind everyone at every opportunity that his parents are from Taiwan, which he says makes him good at math.

"And then there's Joe, whose fifth-place finish in the 2008 race landed him the role of comic relief in the Obama regime. He's now the leading candidate -- or was until Democrats threw him overboard in their latest attempt to stage a coup against President Donald John Trump.

"The lack of executive experience is a handicap when going against someone with more than 40 years of experience as a CEO. He has built towers, and is now building a wall.

"Most observers believe impeaching President Trump will doom the Democrat nominee." . . .

An ugly horde of female protesters target Judge Kavanaugh and Senator Mitch McConnell...again

Complete with the old familiar 'Hey, hey, ho-ho! Blah, blah-blah, blah-blah, blah, blah!"

M. Catharine Evans  . . . This grotesque absurdity continued when Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick, who was once represented by creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti, took the stage as the trained seals chanted, "We believe you."

"Besides accusing Justice Kavanaugh of being "a rapist," many protesters carried signs supporting a woman's right to abortion.  One even read, "Abort Trump."  Having unrestricted access to abortion and upholding Roe v. Wade seem to lie at the center of the Kavanaugh character assassination.
"With both of President Trump's appointees, Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch, set to hear their first major abortion case (no date set yet), we can be certain that the protest organizers will be gearing up for more harassment, hounding, and lawlessness in D.C."

In-N-Out Burger Joins Chick-Fil-A As A Company That Openly Celebrates Its Christian Values

RedState  . . . "While John 3:16 has been printed on their cups for years, Snyder decided the company should have more Bible verses on its products in order to share more of the messages it has to impart. This now includes Proverbs 24:16 and Luke 6:35.
“It was my uncle Rich who put the Bible verses on the cups and wrappers in the early ‘90s, just before he passed away,” she told the Christian Post. “He had just accepted the Lord and wanted to put that little touch of his faith on our brand. It’s a family business and will always be, and that’s a family touch. In later years, I added verses to the fry boat, coffee, and hot cocoa cups.”
"It’s not just the printing of verses on containers that Snyder is satisfied with. She told The Christian Post that she’s also started an organization called “Army of Love,” which helps those who are in emotional need just like she was when her third marriage was falling apart:" . . .

Trump is all that stands between the America we cherish and the left’s policies for “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Impeaching Trump is their way of telling us to get in line, or else.  If you think of Trump, not as Trump, but as one of us, it becomes clear.  Destroying him is a way of telling us, “You’re next.”   William L. Gensert
After Trump, We’re Next  . . . "Trump is all that stands between the America we cherish and the left’s policies for “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”  They know that for us, 2020 is a “Flight 93” election and impeaching Trump on what is the thinnest of gruel, and arguably the finest example of projection today, is a last-ditch effort to either depose him or damage him enough politically to make him unelectable come next November.
"With the media, their unctuous allies in scurrility, the left knows every specious allegation will be portrayed as fact in every article, on every news panel, and in every talking-head utterance.  It used to be the “big lie.”  Now it is a million little lies told by a camarilla of politicians and skirling media that they hope will rid the left of their Orange Man bane.
"The left must make sure that someone like Trump never happens again, should they succeed at deposing Trump, or better yet, damaging him to the point where he loses in 2020, for defeating him at the polls can be trumpeted as the “will of the people.' ”  . . .

120 years of climate scares (it is now a major industry)

Thomas Lifson  "Scientists seeking funding and journalists seeking an audience agree: panic sells.
“ 'Global cooling is going to kills us all!” “No, wait: global warming is going to kill us all!”
"All that’s  missing is a back-and-forth of “You shut up!” “No, you shut up!” That is reserved for those who doubt the need for panic.
"That’s the gist of an amazing chronology of the last 120 years of scare-mongering on climate, assembled by butnowyouknow.net and reprinted by the estimable Anthony Watts in Wattsupwiththat, who updates it to the present. It is truly mind-boggling: . . ."

Next time you see the usual "global warming" chart, look carefully: it is in tiny fractions of one degree. The ENTIRE global warming is less than six tenths of one degree. Here is the Global Warming Advocates' own chart, rendered in actual degrees like sane people use. I was going to use 0-100 like a thermometer, but you end up with almost a flat line, so I HELPED the Climate Change side by making the temperature range much narrower, and the chart needlessly tall to stretch the up-down differences in the line.
