Stop Apologizing for Saving Black Lives

Does anyone with a functioning frontal lobe disagree with this? By pursuing the wacky idea of having cops frisk kids in high-crime areas for minor offenses like turnstile jumping, Mayor Rudy Giuliani cut the murder rate from more than 2,000 per year to about 600. No one thought it could possibly go any lower -- and then Bloomberg got murders down to an unfathomable 300 or so per year.

Ann Coulter  "Idiot conservatives were doing the idiot thing this week, screaming “racism!” in response to an old tape of former Mayor Michael Bloomberg defending stop-and-frisk, one of the policies that drove New York City murder rates down to Mayberry levels. They weren’t being ironic.
"In the 2015 tape, Bloomberg makes the blindingly obvious point that if “95% of murders and murder victims are young male minorities” -- as is true in New York City -- then police should be questioning about 95% young male minorities.
"To stop crime, he said, you "put a lot of cops where the crime is, which means in minority neighborhoods.”
"Bloomberg further explained that frisking young black and brown men for minor crimes is how you keep guns off the streets generally: “And the way you get the guns out of the kids’ hands is to throw them up against the wall and frisk them. And then they start, they say, ‘Oh, I don’t want to get caught.’ So they don't bring the gun. They still have a gun, but they leave it at home.”
"Does anyone with a functioning frontal lobe disagree with this? By pursuing the wacky idea of having cops frisk kids in high-crime areas for minor offenses like turnstile jumping, Mayor Rudy Giuliani cut the murder rate from more than 2,000 per year to about 600. No one thought it could possibly go any lower -- and then Bloomberg got murders down to an unfathomable 300 or so per year.
"Giuliani and Bloomberg did more for young minorities than all living Democrats combined. In New York City alone, at least 20,000 more black men are alive today than would be under the genius crime-fighting ideas of prior administrations (and The New York Times).
"Unless liberal elites are pursuing a secret plan to reduce the black population by allowing young black men to kill one another (that would make a great movie by Jordan Peele!), stop-and-frisk is nothing to apologize for.
"Well, guess what? Bloomberg apologized for it. He began his presidential campaign with a repudiation of his signature accomplishment in order to please a handful of black activists and a lot of white liberals. For that, he deserves the contempt of all men of good will.
"Why not attack him for the gutless apology? Is Bloomberg sorry for saving so many black lives? Does becoming a Democrat make basic math incomprehensible? Is he a pandering coward? Can we trust anything he says?
"But small-bore conservatives did what they always do: Give up winning a war in order to land a quick blow in a skirmish. They called Bloomberg’s earlier, logically insuperable point “RACIST!”
"Great, so now conservatives are adopting the absolute worst aspect of liberalism -- calling everything “racist." . . .

Newly Released Police Report Details Attack on Trump Supporters, Shows Clear Motive

Also: Complete list of attacks on supporters of President Trump
"Only a handful  – if that –  of hate crimes against Trump supporters are reported by the mainstream media.  That’s why here at Milne News we thought we would do what we are famous for and report the truth.
"With the help of attacksontrumpsupporters.com who have made a brilliant reference, you can see below the complete list (so far) of the 392 attacks on Trump supporters from 2015 to now.
"If there is any missed on this list please contact us to let us know." . . .

Why Isn't the Violent Attack Against Florida GOP Volunteers a Huge National Story?
Townhall   "A report on the incident is now available and shows the attacker was politically motivated, wanted to "take a stand" and proudly showed officers videos just before running the tent over with his vehicle.
"Upon arrival I made contact with the victims who were volunteering at a Republican tent in the parking lot located near the Petco. They stated that while they were working the listed vehicle began slowly driving towards them. Victim 1 advised that she had been walking up to the driver's side to talk to the suspect. Victim 2 was standing on the passenger side of the vehicle. They both stated that the vehicle then accelerated towards them and the tent. Both victims had to move out of the way quickly in order to prevent themselves form being struck by the vehicle. The suspect continued to drive and snowed over several chairs, tables and a tent. The suspect then got out of the vehicle, took out hi
s phone, 'flipped them off' and drove away," the report, written by an officer, states.
"The suspect [REDACTED] because 'someone had to take a stand.' He stated that he went to the Walmart at 11900 Atlantic Blvd. to get some food and notice the tent set up in the parking lot. He advised that after he got his food and pack of cigarettes he went near the ten and parked. He willingly showed a video to us on his phone that was him talking prior to driving into the tent. He was a few aisles over in the parking lot. The suspect then showed another video to us of him driving towards the tent with the victims standing in front of the tent," the report continues (bolding is for emphasis).
"The video cuts out prior to him actually striking the tent. He stated that [REDACTED] although the video showed people standing in front of the tent, so he could go run everything over. The suspect was upset that the video ended before 'the good part' as he described it. The suspect also advised that he does not like President Trump and that is part of [REDACTED]. He also advised the other reason was because "it's like someone shitting on your grave," it says. " . . .
"Despite this admission from Grimm that he engaged in an act of terrorism against political opponents, the story is getting little attention. " . . .

Can you see today's Democrats guiding us through World War 2?

Dirty Cops: Democrats leap to defense of prosecutors who lied to DOJ about Roger Stone sentence  "Apparently, we're supposed to be upset that a group of four prosecutors, who told the Department of Justice one thing about what they'd recommend as a sentence for former Trump adviser Roger Stone and then told a federal judge another, are out of that job.
"According to National Review:
All four Justice Department prosecutors who sought seven to nine years of jail time for Roger Stone have withdrawn from the case after reportedly misleading DOJ officials over the sentencing recommendation.

Rush Limbaugh Reacts To Joaquin Phoenix’s ‘Feel-Good Wackoism’ Oscars Speech

"On Tuesday, legendary conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh reacted to actor Joaquin Phoenix’s Oscar acceptance speech, which the host said went beyond liberalism, qualifying as “feel-good wackoism.”
"We’ve become very disconnected from the natural world,” Phoenix said on Sunday at the award show. “And many of us, what we’re guilty of is an egocentric world view, the belief that we’re the center of the universe. We go into the natural world and we plunder it for its resources.”
“ 'We feel entitled to artificially inseminate a cow and when she gives birth, we steal her baby, even though her cries of anguish are unmistakable,” “The Joker” actor added. “And then we take her milk that’s intended for her calf and we put it in our coffee and our cereal.”
“ 'Boy, do we suck,” Limbaugh reacted to the soundbite. “Yeah. That’s the Academy Award, best actor for a movie appropriately called The Joker.” . . .

#SanctimoniousHollywood  . . . "There is almost nothing Americans hate more than hypocrisy, and the hypocrisy of the left, it seems, might be its undoing. So, what do we have to do to make sure it is?" . . .

With Harvey Weinstein, Hollywood's sanctimonious chickens come home to roost
. . . "Ronald Reagan was a former member of the Hollywood class who went on to become governor of California and president of the United States. But it was Bill Clinton and, after him, Barack Obama who brought the culture of Hollywood with them to the political stage." . . .

Dems v. Trump: commentaries

That’s what’s happened to the Democrats. The Iowa caucus disaster is one symptom. The failed impeachment of Trump another. The stable of unstable Democrat candidates yet another. Jonathan F. Keiler
Bumbling Biden and the Democrat Clown Show

After Three Years of Hate, the Dems Have Lost It  . . . "Often forgotten is Big Brother’s antagonist, Emmanuel Goldstein.  He is the subject of a daily “two minutes hate,” which is where the novel opens.  The “two minutes hate” is part of Oceania’s political regimen, required of all citizens. It’s not clear at all in the novel that Goldstein is real, or just an invention of regime propaganda, yet it doesn’t matter.  The two minutes hate is designed to deflect the population’s anger and fear away from the regime to this supposed enemy of the people.
"It’s a sick regime, which is the point of the story." . . .
Jonathan F. Keiler

Trump is Moby Dick, the Democrats are Captain Ahab
. . . "The experience traumatized Ahab. Even Moby Dick's color grated on Ahab's mind. To him, the color white symbolized nobility and goodness while the whale itself was the embodiment of evil. Hate took over Ahab, blotting out reason and common sense. When he sets out on his final voyage from Nantucket on the Pequod, making a profitable haul for the ship's owners was not his priority. killing Moby Dick and boiling his blubber into oil was. " . . .

The Facts About Trump That Are Deadly For Democrats
"The Democrats didn’t like President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address because he highlighted data, such as the strong economy and record employment under his watch, they’d rather voters didn’t know. But those points were just a start. There’s much more about Trump that his opponents want to hide from the public." . . .

While Democrats are duking it out, Trump is quietly breaking records
But never forget Hillary's victory celebration in 2016. As Abraham Lincoln told a bragging general, "...the hen never cackles until she has laid her egg":

Trump Camp Dismisses Sanders, Homes In on Bloomberg  . . . "The damage, however, had already been done. On a day filled with speculative reporting before election results came in, one-two punches from Trump and Sanders at Bloomberg helped drive news coverage and the national conversation at the very moment the businessman’s candidacy was on the rise.
"By Tuesday night, CNN was running an op-ed arguing that Bloomberg’s caught-on-tape comments about stop-and-frisk should disqualify him from the nomination and Democratic fears were growing over their chance of botching the election and failing to force Trump from office." . . .

It seems Uncle Joe is circling the drain

Joe Biden Delivers Gaffe-Ridden, Defiant Message After New Hampshire Blowout . . . "Biden delivered his remarks shortly after polls closed in New Hampshire, where his campaign cratered. Although the results have yet to be finalized, the former vice president was firmly in fifth place—garnering only eight percent of the vote with more than 75 percent of precincts reporting.
"The poor showing all but ensures Biden will not receive any delegates from the state, even though his campaign and an affiliated Super PAC spent heavily in the closing in a last ditch effort to avoid disaster." . . .
Nice guy Joe Biden should retire from presidential race  "Joe Biden is done. He just doesn’t know it yet. He seems like a nice guy; it would be far nicer if someone told him.
"Why is the former vice president about to skid off the campaign trail? Because his behavior is becoming ever more peculiar, his efforts to raise money and reach voters (the widely mocked “No Malarkey” bus tour) are failing and because there is a new moderate in the race – Mike Bloomberg – who is likely to clean his clock, to use the kind of expression Biden would love." . . .
. . . "As voters in South Carolina and elsewhere see more of Biden, and contemplate an alternative moderate candidate in the well-financed Bloomberg, they will almost certainly decide that Obama’s former sidekick is not their man. Someone should tell him; kinder to nudge him out of the race now than to have him humiliated down the road." . . .
What's with Joe's bromance with Obama?   ‘This guy’s not a Barack Obama’: Joe Biden sharpens attacks on Pete Buttigieg in New Hampshire
. . . “ 'I do not believe we’re a party at risk if I’m the nominee,” Biden told voters in Manchester. “I do believe we’re a party at risk if we nominate someone who has never held a higher office than the mayor of South Bend, Indiana.' ” . . .

Paul Ryan says Biden likely won't get Democratic nomination
Joe Biden the last time Ryan tangled with him in 2012:

Not just hugs: Biden swam naked in front of female Secret Service agents, walked around residence without a stitch  . . . "And according to other reports, Biden didn’t just drop his clothes to take a swim but other places in the vice president’s residence as well.
According to a Nov. 14, 2017 article by Cassandra Fairbanks of Big League Politics, Biden would frequently walk around the residence naked in the presence of female agents paid to protect him.
“ 'I mean, Stark naked… Weinstein level stuff,” a former Secret Service agent, who was not named, was quoted as saying." . . .

NYPD Sergeants Union ‘Declaring War’ on de Blasio: ‘We Do Not Respect You’

Legal Insurrection
“NYPD cops have been assassinated because of you. This isn’t over, Game on!”

"The NYPD’s Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA) tweeted to NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio that the cops are “declaring war” on him after a man tried to assassinate two cops.
"Robert Williams faces charges of attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest. Williams allegedly injured 41 Precinct Lt. Jose Gautreaux on Saturday night as he sat with another officer in a marked patrol van.
"Williams opened fire on the 41st Precinct on Sunday morning. He injured Officer Paul Stroffolino. Williams only surrendered when he ran out of bullets.
"De Blasio tweeted out praise for the police and scorn for the gunmen. But if you know the history between them it sounds like he said it just because he had to say something. (I listed the topics we previously covered with de Blasio and the NYPD)
"Obviously the union did not fall for it." . . .
President Donald Trump reacted to the shootings with a tweet that criticized New York leadership overall. The SBA agreed with Trump, which likely irritated de Blasio.

Jewish Democrat Dov Hikind booted from Rashida Tlaib event: 'What about your anti-Semitism?'

Mr. Hikind, who is Jewish, then yells at Ms. Tlaib, “What about your anti-Semitism? What about your blood libel against Israel?”

Washington Times

"Former Democratic New York state assemblyman Dov Hikind was escorted by police out of an event featuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib after he shouted a question about anti-Semitism.
"Ms. Tlaib, Michigan Democrat, was the guest speaker at an event Saturday at Rutgers University, titled “A Global Crisis: Refugees, Migrants, and Asylum Seekers — Lessons from the Prophet Muhammad,” which was organized by the group Muslims4Peace, Fox News reported Monday.
"Mr. Hikind tweeted a video of the moment when he interrupted Ms. Tlaib’s speech and was immediately manhandled by an attendee and eventually escorted out of the room by police.
"In the clip, Mr. Hikind is able to stand up and say, “What about your—,” before a man comes up from behind and forcefully grabs him.
. . ."University police officers then approach Mr. Hikind and the crowd breaks into a “Rashida” chant. Mr. Hikind continues yelling but is drowned out by the chants as the officers escort him out of the room." . . .

Those 'stuffy' Americans

Charlotte Cushman  "On Saturday, February 8, 2020,  Jennifer Lopez defended the recent Super Bowl halftime performance with Shakira which has been criticized for being sexually inappropriate. Here is her defense: “a celebration of women and the Latino culture.”
“ 'The message of standing up for yourself, being a women -- that’s what I want to pass on to little girls -- everything about you -- be proud of it,” she said. “I’m very proud of the performance that night.”
Take your child to work day.

"I would like to know what she was standing up for that night and what exactly she wants to pass on to little girls.  Does being a woman mean being a stripper, grabbing your crotch, and spreading your legs to an audience? That is standing up for oneself as a woman? Is the message to little girls that the essence of being female is their vagina?  Imagine the uproar if men had the same message about their intimate body part.
"There has been some discussion about this issue on Facebook. Americans have been called “stuffy” and “white centrist” for criticizing the show.  One person said that we still have a long way to go in the acceptance of different cultures. Lopez said it is a celebration of the Latino culture.
"I don’t buy the “Well, it is just their culture so we should accept it” argument.  That is multiculturalism, which holds that all cultures are equal.  I don’t agree. Some cultures are better than others, some are worse. Some are wicked:  Some cultures kill homosexuals, some chop off heads, some treat women as less than human.  Are we to regard those cultures as equal to ours?
"I resent the idea that we, Americans, are to bend over backwards to understand other cultures that are coming into our country, but they don’t have to understand us.  How about some understanding and sensitivity towards our culture? Sex is a value in our culture (or it was). Taking the sacred act of sex, and dragging it through the muck is offensive to people who value sex, but those of us who find aberrant sexual behavior offensive are not supposed to complain, and are accused of being white-centric and stuffy.
"Gyrating one’s groin in public in order to imitate the sex act is not okay when done by anyone of any sex in any culture. If you want a civilized society where men and women respect each other as humans with brains, instead of just groins, then it is time to re-evaluate those behaviors no matter what the culture of the participants.
"A culture doesn’t deteriorate overnight, it happens step by step.  What was considered outrageous years ago, is considered normal today because the people who objected didn’t say anything.  As time goes on things continue to spiral downwards until you have an immoral culture.  That is happening to us.  Multiculturalism has paved the way for Americans to back away from sticking up for western culture."

Remember this from 2017: Bernie Sanders to Traditional Christians: Your Beliefs Are Indefensibly Hateful and Insulting, and Not What This Country Is Supposed to Be About

The Gospel Coalition     "An exchange between Senator Bernie Sanders and the potential deputy White House budget director, Russell Vought, who is an evangelical Christian.

. . . Vought: Absolutely not, Senator. I’m a Christian, and I believe in a Christian set of principles based on my faith. That post, as I stated in the questionnaire to this committee, was to defend my alma mater, Wheaton College, a Christian school that has a statement of faith that includes the centrality of Jesus Christ for salvation, and . . .Sanders: I apologize. Forgive me, we just don’t have a lot of time. Do you believe people in the Muslim religion stand condemned? Is that your view?Vought: Again, Senator, I’m a Christian, and I wrote that piece in accordance with the statement of faith at Wheaton College . . .Sanders: I understand that. I don’t know how many Muslims there are in America. Maybe a couple million. Are you suggesting that all those people stand condemned? What about Jews? Do they stand condemned too?Vought: Senator, I’m a Christian . . .Sanders: I understand you are a Christian! But this country are made of people who are not just — I understand that Christianity is the majority religion, but there are other people of different religions in this country and around the world. In your judgment, do you think that people who are not Christians are going to be condemned?
. . . " Article VI of the US Constitution forbids what Bernie Sanders is doing, declaring that “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.' ” . . .

Democrats failed the debate question on Qassem Soleimani

Washington Examiner  "At the New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary debate on Friday, Democrats failed when questioned on whether they would have authorized the U.S. military strike that killed Qassem Soleimani.
"Soleimani, commander of the covert action arm of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in a January U.S. drone strike in Baghdad. President Trump authorized that strike in response to Soleimani's efforts to organize attacks on U.S. interests in Iraq and the broader Middle East, and in the context of the Iranian general's historic role in killing hundreds of U.S. soldiers during the Iraq War.

"But as I say, Democrats were unconvincing".: . . .

. . . "Take just two examples: Russia's 2018 nerve agent assassination attempt on British soil, and Iran's unprovoked 2011 effort to blow up the Saudi ambassador as he dined in a Washington restaurant. Did Vladimir Putin and Qassem Soleimani authorize those actions because the United States had killed someone just before? No, they did so because they believed they could get away with it.
"That speaks to the key point: Effective counterterrorism and the broader stability of international order do not rest on the back of nice rules and polite discussions at the United Nations. They rest on the balancing beam of deterrence and destruction — on nations knowing that they will be held to account for what they do to America, our allies, or to innocent peoples. Absent our ability to position a credible threat at the heart of their calculation, our enemies will try to get away with as much mayhem as possible.
"Dear Democratic 2020 candidates, please stop pretending you have all the answers and that Trump is simply stupid."

If only Soleimani had waited till Democrats ran the government again, he'd still be doing what he does. TD

Elizabeth Warren Vows to Boycott Pro-Israel Conference Obama Attended  . . . "But last year, almost every single Democratic Party candidate for president, including Warren, skipped the AIPAC conference, except for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) met with AIPAC activists in her Senate office but declined to attend the policy conference itself." . . .

Buttigieg Doubles Down: No Jail Time for Heroin, Meth Possession  Video

. . . "The Buttigieg plan would potentially free 74,000 drug offenders from federal prison, nearly 100 percent of whom are drug traffickers with links to international criminal cartels. Those accused of drug trafficking often plead down to drug possession to secure lesser sentences." . . .

The Once and Future Scandal

When Adam Schiff’s pernicious role in jump-starting the impeachment is finally fully known, he will likely be revealed as the prime schemer, along with minor Obama officials buried within the Trump National Security Council, dreaming up the entire Ukraine caper of the “whistleblower.”
Cartoons by Tony Branco
Victor Davis Hanson  "Now that the four-and-a-half-month-long Ukraine impeachment bookend to the 22-month Mueller charade is over, it clearly accomplished nothing other than substantially raising the polls of both Donald Trump and the Republican Party. The public was reminded that Representative Gerald Nadler (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) are every bit as childish, peevish, and absurd as Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).
"So, we are now back to the existential issue of the entire Trump phenomenon: to what degree did the Hillary Clinton campaign collude with high-ranking Obama officials, and the top echelons of the FBI, CIA, and the national intelligence apparatus, to surveil, defame, and hope to derail Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign by unlawful means?
Who in the federal government then continued Clinton’s efforts after the 2016 election to disrupt and indeed attempt to destroy the Trump transition and presidency?
"Eventually, someone will sort out whether that post-election effort on the part of federal officials to abort the Trump presidency, abetted by the media and #TheResistance, was a simple follow-up to the Clinton-DNC-Perkins Coe-Fusion GPS collusion against candidate Trump—or a sick preemptive attempt of the administrative state to smear Trump as a “Russian asset” because of their worries about the exposure of their own prior criminality and Trump’s iconoclastic agenda.
"But for now, the following statements are irrefutable."
"Donald Trump, in concrete ways, has been far harder on Russia than was the “reset” Obama presidency, and far more helpful to Ukraine than Team Obama ever was. Trump armed the Ukrainians. He upped sanctions against Russia. He ordered lethal retaliation against Russian mercenaries in Syria. He vastly increased U.S. oil and gas production to Russia’s detriment. He jawboned Germany about its fuel dependence on Moscow. He coerced NATO to spend more on defense. He got out of an asymmetrical missile treaty with Russia. He is rebuilding the U.S. military." . . .
