Olivia Nuzzi’s Absurd Question To Trump Is Why People Hate The Media

Let’s take another look at the question. “If an American president loses more Americans over the course of six weeks than died in the Vietnam War, does he deserve to be reelected?” What exactly is meant by the president losing lives? This is a global pandemic born of a communist Chinese government that lied about it for months with its wingman the World Health Organization. These lives are at Trump’s feet? Really?

Olivia Nuzzi’s Absurd Question To Trump Is Why People Hate The Media

"On Monday, President Trump took to the Rose Garden with members of the coronavirus task force and CEOs who are working to provide new testing. CNN cut their coverage just as the CEOs began providing important information about how to get tested, but cut back in time for questions. That’s where New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi comes in.

"If an American President loses more Americans over the course 6 weeks than died in the entirety of the Vietnam War, does he deserve to be re-elected?"
Such an appalling framing of a question.
. . .
"This has all become a ridiculous reality TV show, and sure, the president is not without blame for the condition. He clearly enjoys a lot of aspects of it. But so does Olivia Nuzzi and most of the corporate press. They are willing cast members in the awkward episodes. And this one was truly cringeworthy."
David Marcus is the Federalist's New York Correspondent.

It wasn’t the first time Nuzzi sacrificed her journalistic ‘integrity’ in the pursuit of a personal agenda.  . . . "In 2018 Nuzzi admitted to entering the home office of Corey Lewandowski without permission for a story and later doubled down by trying to justify her actions amid online outrage.
“…socially I would probably thrive in jail,” she tweeted in response to criticism at the time." . . .
Olivia Nuzzi to Ari Fleischer over ‘Vietnam’ Question: ‘Oh Shut the F*ck Up’
. . . "President Trump is said to be reconsidering his daily press briefings because journalists use them to grandstand and to score political points, rather than to pursue information."The contrast with press briefings for governors and mayors is stark: there, journalists tend to be more deferential and to ask questions aimed at eliciting information rather than assigning political fault."Nuzzi, who has also covered Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, formerly interned for former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), then an aspiring New York City mayoral candidate." . . .

How can we keep looking at the Democrat Party's actions and not see evil in so many of them?

Is there no Democrat who cries out against what they have become?

Tara Reade and the Democrats   . . . "Reade’s allegation is now more corroborated than anything Christine Blasey Ford leveled against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, for example, right before his Senate confirmation hearings.  Yet he was grilled by Democrat Senator Kamala Harris of California during his Senate confirmation hearings.  It appears, as a columnist said, Harris “has a selective sympathy for women who accuse men of sexual assault.  Because he was conservative, Harris found Kavanaugh a ripe target.  But a woman who has accused Joe Biden of sexual assault has been ignored by the California Democrat.' ”
. . . #MeToo leader Alyssa Milano, usually eager to see men like Biden get their
comeuppance, has equally remained silent.  The fact that she has suddenly discovered due process now that a candidate she favors stands accused is both inappropriate and shameful: “We have to societally change that mindset to believing women, but that does not mean at the expense of not giving men their due process and investigating situations.  It’s got to be fair in both directions.”
"Not everyone on the left, however, has remained silent.  Senator Bernie Sanders, who suspended his presidential campaign but still remains on the ballot, stated in a tweet Reade’s accusation as “credible.”  And feminist and actress Rose McGowan accused Milano of being “a fraud” for going “after Trump & Kavanaugh” and not Biden." . . . More
Remember Milano's publicity photos, obviously with the help of Diane Feinstein finding her the perfect seat for photo-ops.

Alyssa Milano Ties Herself Up in Knots
When Milano used her platform to lobby against Kavanaugh’s confirmation, despite the lack of corroboration for his accusers’ stories, she revealed that her support for the #MeToo movement wasn’t about justice; it was a way to use women’s assault allegations as a weapon against men whose politics she disliked. Her determination to support Biden’s campaign in the face of Reade’s story, no matter what twisted logic it takes, makes her political motivations even clearer.
Tara Reade's sexual assault allegation against Biden is not going away
. . . "When the Times finally addressed Reade's allegations, the reporters went out of their way to dismiss her.  As I wrote:
The article isn't journalism.  It is, instead, a brief for the defense in a legal case.  The Times is cleaning up after a candidate who has a long history of peculiar and creepy behavior around women and little girls.  Rather than "believing all women," it's an effort to show that Reade is a liar and a Putin pawn.
Indeed, the Times is so desperate to salvage Biden's reputation against charges of sexual impropriety that it stealthily edited the article after publication to remove language that initially acknowledged creepy Joe's sexually abusive propensities.
"Here's a tweet showing that infamous edit: . . ." Read it at the link, then see this Stacey Abrams defense of Biden:
" . . . a surprisingly hard-hitting Don Lemon interview with veep wannabe Stacey Abrams in which he asks her about the allegations.  There is an alternative spin, though, for what Lemon was doing.  He might have been giving Abrams a chance to recite the party line to reinforce it with credulous viewers.  If that was Lemon's goal, he failed, for Abrams looked ridiculous trying to ignore the allegations and contort herself into believing Biden and complying with #MeToo requirements:"

Exclusive — Juanita Broaddrick Blasts Hillary’s Biden Endorsement: Has ‘Decades of Experience’ Enabling ‘Sexual Predator’ Bill  "Bill Clinton rape accuser Juanita Broaddrick slammed Hillary Clinton for endorsing Joe Biden for president at precisely the time the presumptive Democrat nominee finds himself mired in a sexual assault allegation.
“Who better to support Joe Biden than someone with not only years, but decades of experience in enabling a serial sexual predator?” asked Broaddrick sarcastically." . . .
She also rehashed* an alleged encounter with Hillary Clinton in which Broaddrick says the former First Lady attempted to intimidate her into being silent about the alleged rape.:

It’s Time for the President to Address Our Economic Relaunch

Conrad Black
If the president acts carefully and puts the issues squarely, he will succeed, the economy will recover quickly, and he will be invincible in November.

"It is clear that the time is approaching that will be absolutely decisive for this presidency and for the country’s near-term future. The president will have to decide on an economic relaunch plan, and this will make or break him and his opponents.
"The vast amount of posturing and accusatory liberties that already surpass what is normal in even the most contentious of election years will be of no account, depending on the outcome of the president’s decision of when and how to conduct the United States back to normal life. The Democrats have advocated a lengthy shutdown, leaving plenty of room to impute to them political as well as public health motives.
"Obviously, if the country strangles itself into a profound and lengthy recession, the Democrats’ electoral chances improve. The longer such a state of affairs continues, the harder and less relevant it will be to recall President Trump’s achievement in generating an immense economic boom and one that profoundly bettered the lot of the lower half of American income-earners, whose real income had stalled for over 15 years.
"Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (brother of Rahm), one of the senior medical advisers of apparent Democratic nominee Joe Biden, has advised an 18-month shutdown to await a vaccine. Of course, this is nonsense. But Biden is calling for mass-testing and intensive and time-consuming research and consultation, obviously stretching for months, before even a very partial reopening of normal activity. And he has joined the inevitable Democratic chorus that this further extension of the present shutdown is necessitated by the administration’s complete failure to prepare for such a crisis." . . .

The roles of women in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ explained

Why do we read so much about handmaids in political discourse?  "Ripped from their previous lives by the Eyes, members of the government watch group, the handmaids are fertile women assigned to the households of the elite Wives and Commanders. Their only duty is to carry children for these families. In turn, they are raped by the Commanders during repeat Ceremonies, held with the intent of conceiving.
“ 'The handmaid and the baby are state resources. They’re very, very valuable state resources,” Snyder notes.
"These red-cloak, wing-wearing women are forced into this lifestyle through a system of physical and emotional abuse, carried out by their keepers, the Aunts. They’re completely stripped of their identities, taking on a moniker that reflects their status as property of the men they serve. For example, June, portrayed by Elisabeth Moss, is known as Offred, or Of Fred, while serving her duty to Gilead.
"These women were selected to serve the role of a handmaid because they were able to carry children and seen to have been sinners in their previous lives.
“ 'These are women who were seen by Gilead to have fallen or sullied themselves in some way,” Snyder explains. “The wrapping the government puts around their enforced servitude is that you’re redeeming yourself; you are working off your sin.”
"In the third season, Offred (June) explains the handmaids wear red because it makes them easy to spot, “like blood on snow.' ” . . .   More

These people are so sleazy and slippery; do we really want them in charge of this nation?

Anti-Kavanaugh Crusader Kirsten Gillibrand Dismisses Allegations Against Joe Biden . . .
Any senator who votes to confirm Judge Kavanaugh after Dr. Ford’s testimony is telling our country exactly this: the experiences of women don’t matter. Their trauma doesn’t matter. Their stories and their voices don’t matter.
Possible Biden VP Kamala Harris Said She Believed His Accusers in 2019
Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris in April 2019 said she believes 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden’s accusers, however, she has not addressed the new reports that have surfaced backing up the claims that Biden sexually assaulted a female staffer when he was a senator.
"Bitter old Hillary joins the Biden train."

Dem VP shortlisters condemned Kavanaugh: Here’s their response to Biden accusation . . . "They did not hold back in their condemnation of the court pick and in their calls for the accusers' claims to be fully investigated. Now, Biden's presidential campaign also is grappling with a developing accusation of sexual assault from the 1990s -- which aides have adamantly denied. But most of those same senators have not commented on this allegation, or have downplayed it." . . .....
"Here's what the senators who voted against Kavanaugh's confirmation in 2018 had to say then, and what they have to say about the allegation against Biden now."

Be sure to listen for these, especially on CNN and MSNBC
“Biden believes that all women have the right to be heard and to have their claims thoroughly reviewed,” the talking points read, according to a copy sent to two Democratic operatives. “In this case, a thorough review by the New York Times has led to the truth: this incident did not happen.”“Here’s the bottom line,” they read. “Vice President Joe Biden has spent over 40 years in public life: 36 years in the Senate; 7 Senate campaigns, 2 previous presidential runs, two vice presidential campaigns, and 8 years in the White House. There has never been a complaint, allegation, hint or rumor of any impropriety or inappropriate conduct like this regarding him — ever.”

Pelosi sings 2 different songs when it comes to sex-assault claims against Kavanaugh and Biden

WND
She criticized Democratic silence on her allegations, saying that though she is a third generation Democrat with a suffragette grandmother and a Democratic activist mother committed to fighting racism, she never wishes to be part of the Democratic party again.

House speaker said: 'We must #BelieveSurvivors'

"Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi supported and praised Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Blasey Ford, but has maintained silence on 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden’s accuser Tara Reade.
"Ford leveled accusations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh in September 2018, launching a media onslaught and a series of congressional hearings into the allegations against the future Supreme Court justice. Throughout these events, Pelosi expressed strong support for Ford.
“ 'It took great courage for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford to come forward with her story,” Pelosi tweeted September 18, 2018. “The American people are owed a thorough investigation of the grave & credible allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.”
"The Democratic House speaker also tweeted on September 26, “We must #BelieveSurvivors. I’m proud to stand with my Democratic colleagues in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.' ” . . .

The Silence of the Senate Handmaids

"Ah, who can forget the hue and cry that erupted from the Democrat Handmaids in the US Senate back when Brett Kavanaugh was accused.  Kamala Harris, Mazie Hirono, Kirsten Gillibrand – these Senate Handmaids leapt on these spurious accusations like opportunistic ticks on a dog’s back.
"We couldn’t make it through a single day without one or all three of those Believe Women frauds popping up on cable news.
"Kirsten Gillibrand took to the Senate floor to scoff at the very idea that due process applies to Brett Kavanaugh.
"Due process?! Oh, you silly, stupid people!"Gillibrand’s Twitter timeline is full of earnest, emotional tweets about how she believed Christine Blasey-Ford." . . .
Noted flip-flopper flip-flops on #BelieveWomen
Noted flip-flopper flip-flops on #BelieveWomen   I mentioned Sunday that not one of the Senate Handmaids who flogged Christine Blasey Ford’s silly allegation against Brett Kavanaugh had stepped up to speak out about Tara Reade’s accusation against Dirty Digit Joe Biden.  Well yesterday, that infamous flip-flopper Kirsten Gillibrand finally piped up and, as usual, flip-flopped on her long-held position of believing women.

Pelosi Suggests Biden Does Not Need to ‘Directly’ Address Reade Allegation: ‘I’m Satisfied with How He Has Responded’  . . . "Reade has said that she has been surprised by the dismissals of her claims in the “MeToo” era. News surfaced Wednesday that a letter asking Biden to address Reade’s claims was drafted by national women’s advocacy groups, only for the letter to not be publicly released after the Biden campaign learned of it.
“ 'I was just hoping to get a fair and equal treatment,” Reade told National Review. “But because it’s Joe Biden I’ve been silenced or smeared.” . . .

Biden accuser Tara Reade 'lost total respect' for CNN's Anderson Cooper for not asking former VP about assault claim

CNN FINALLY COVERS LARRY KING CLIP IN WHICH BIDEN ACCUSER'S MOTHER PURPORTEDLY  ALLUDES TO DAUGHTER'S SEXUAL ASSAULT

Fox News   "EXCLUSIVE: The woman who has accused Joe Biden of a sexual assault in the early 1990s says she's disappointed that CNN anchor Anderson Cooper failed to ask the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee about the allegation when he had the chance -- not once, but twice.
"Tara Reade, a former staffer for then-Sen. Biden, told her story about the former vice president over a month ago with progressive podcast host Katie Halper. Since then, Biden has done nearly a dozen TV interviews with news anchors including NBC News' Chuck Todd, ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, and twice with Cooper -- all of whom failed to ask Biden about her public claim.
"I think it's shocking that this much time has passed and that he is an actual nominee for president and they're not asking the questions," Reade told Fox News. "He's been on 'Anderson Cooper' at least twice where he was not asked."
" 'I guess my question is, if this were Donald Trump, would they treat it the same way? If this were Brett Kavanaugh, did they treat it the same way?" Reade said.
" 'In other words, it's politics and political agenda playing a role in objective reporting and asking the question."
"Reade believes that the news anchors who have interviewed Biden "don't want to ask him" about her assault allegation." . . .

Kim Jong Un 'cannot stand up by himself or walk properly', North Korean defector claims amid rumours the dictator is dead or seriously ill

"Seoul and Washington have played down rumours that Kim is gravely ill or dead, but Thae "said only the supreme leader's family and closest aides would know the truth." . . .

Q&A on the Wuhan Virus

Ann Coulter

"As you can well imagine, my mailbox has been overflowing with questions about the coronavirus from precisely ZERO readers. So I decided to write my own questions. I know this is what you would be asking if you were not standing in line, outside, 6 feet apart, to purchase a quart of milk." . . .
"What do you think of the media’s coverage of the Wuhan virus? . . .
"It’s like a nonstop “War of the Worlds” broadcast, which in 1938 panicked more than a million Americans into believing Martians had landed in New Jersey, sending people fleeing to the mountains, loading their shotguns and barricading their homes. And that was a single radio broadcast!
"Today we have nearly all of media — which I notice are doing fantastically well during the crisis — terrifying the public about an apparently indestructible, omnipresent virus." . . .
The shutdown is airport security for the whole country. Nineteen Muslim immigrants flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and suddenly little old ladies from Oklahoma had to be goosed at airports. We have to be safe!   A horrible Chinese virus sweeps the planet, which is devastating to older people but virtually harmless to the young — and the entire country has to be shut down. We have to be safe!

The media owe Brett Kavanaugh an apology. Where do he and his family go to get their reputation back?

At this point, there is insufficient evidence to say Biden is guilty. But there is abundant evidence that the news media are guilty of an appalling double standard. Considering their unwillingness to apply their standards to Biden, they owe Kavanaugh an apology.
Washington Examiner  "Without a shred of evidence that Brett Kavanaugh had ever even met Christine Blasey Ford, the news media decided the then-Supreme Court nominee was guilty of an unconscionable sexual assault four decades ago. Kavanaugh went overnight from being understood to be a consummate legal star, women’s advocate, and faithful family man, to being depicted as a sleazy drunkard and would-be rapist.
"Now, with the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, facing an accusation of sexual assault, the media are demanding that an accusation against a leading public figure should be supported by far more evidence.
"By any objective standard, the accusation from former Senate staffer Tara Reade that Biden sexually assaulted her is stronger than Ford’s accusation against Kavanaugh. This does not mean Biden is guilty and should be disqualified. But it does highlight the grave injustice done to Kavanaugh.
Hollywood tries to destroy
 Kavanaugh
"Ford did not tell anyone her story until nearly 30 years later, in a private therapy session. Her story changed a lot over time — from the number of people at the party where the attack allegedly took place, to the year it occurred. None of the people Ford said were there could recall the party, and even her best friend at the time, Leland Keyser, said she did not have “any confidence” in the story. To this day, there is no evidence Kavanaugh and Ford ever met.
"In contrast, it has been confirmed that Reade was a member of Biden's staff in 1993, at the time she claims he pushed her against a wall and penetrated her with his fingers. Several people have said Reade told them at the time of the incident or within a few years of it. In an interview, Reade said she told her mother (now deceased) about the incident at the time and that her mother called Larry King Live anonymously to mention it." . . .
'I believe Joe Biden': Stacey Abrams says alleged sexual assault of Tara Reade 'did not happen'  "Liberals like Abrams hated Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation process for being accused of something with less evidence than what Biden is facing.
"To answer for that, Abrams said on CNN, "I believe then and I believe now that women deserve to be heard, and too often, they are not." Yes, I'm sure that's a lot of comfort to women who simply want to be heard and don't necessarily need action taken.
"To excuse that, Abrams said that "what was happening to Christine Blasey Ford is that there was no investigation."
"That's untrue. Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing was delayed four times for a seemingly endless series of investigations by both the Senate and the FBI. That's to say nothing of all the digging into Kavanaugh's high school and college years done by the New Yorker, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.
"Maybe Abrams should call for an FBI investigation into Reade's claims.
"What more did Abrams need? It apparently wouldn't have required a neighbor to come forward confirming Ford's account.
"Abrams doesn't care about #MeToo or about women or about sexual assault. She cares about being Biden's running mate." . . .

Biden Needs A Running Mate Who’ll Offset His, You Know, The Thing

Issues & Insights

"Former Vice President Joe Biden is looking for a running mate for the November election. He’s getting plenty of suggestions. But just about anyone will improve his chances as long as the selection is more mentally capable than he is.
"There’s no shortage of advice for the Democrat. CNN has listed “The Top 10 women Joe Biden might pick as vice president.” A media favorite is, of course, Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren. At least one cable host has campaigned for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. CBS reports that Biden is “challenged to pick a black woman.” Biden himself has said he’d pick Michelle Obama “in a heartbeat.”
"Two things, though, we know for sure: One, Biden pledged to pick a woman. Two, he needs someone who can make up for his dismal campaign performances, in which he has the look of someone suffering from dementia and appears to be in sharp decline.
"A little more than a month ago, we noted he had failed “his first attempt to look presdential.” In a speech streamed live from his home in Delaware, his delivery “was leaden.”
“ 'He seemed tired,” we said. “He slurred his words.
“ 'Worse, he repeatedly stumbled in his remarks, despite reading them from a teleprompter.”
"The livestream was lowlighted by a string of words that made no sense.
" 'And uh, in addition to that, in addition to that, we have to make sure that we, uh, are in a position, that we are, we. Let me go to the second thing.”
"Earlier in March, Biden tried to recite a passage from the Declaration of Independence. But he lost his way. It came out thusly:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created by – you know, you know, the thing.”

From the party that adores Hillary and Bill Clinton and calls Ted "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy "the lion of the senate" comes Joe Biden

Joe Biden: Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral?
"I know what you're thinking.  He's an animal, obviously.  He threw a young staffer up against a cold marble wall in an isolated chamber of the Capitol's labyrinthine corridors and reached under her skirt.  When she struggled to free herself from the senator and managed to wriggle away, he angrily pointed a finger in her face and said accusingly and with a "tight" voice, "You're nothing to me.  You're nothing!" before leaving her disheveled and confused up against the wall and walking away.  What a monster!  What an animal!" . . .

The Tara Reade allegations interrupt the fraud of Joe Biden’s campaign momentum. Plus a few items from hither and yon.
She’s miffed that her story didn’t make the rounds when there were 20 other candidates in the race. The guess here is none of that would have mattered. That party nominated Hillary Clinton, after all; it’s very clear that today’s Democrats don’t believe scandalous behavior is disqualifying in a presidential candidate. Sexual assault, corruption, treason, spirit cooking, Satanism — there is no limit to what’s acceptable so long as the basic political sacraments of wealth redistribution, abortion on demand, and obeisance to Beijing in matters of trade and culture are observed.
Biden's sexual assault problem gets worse, and he seems more senile than ever
. . . "The nightmare reached Stephen King proportions yesterday, when two women who knew Reade in the mid-1990s, not long after the alleged assault, reported that Reade had told them about the assault.  While the fact that she told them shortly after she left Biden's office does not prove that he attacked her, it certainly proves that she's not creating the story out of whole cloth today for some nefarious purpose.  By contrast, Christine Blasey Ford, a pro-abortion fanatic, first started telling the story about Brett Kavanaugh when he was touted as a possible Supreme Court nominee during the Bush presidency, decades after the event had allegedly happened." . . .
Michelle Goldberg, a New York Times writer known for using different standards for Biden and Kavanaugh, says the new evidence is a "nightmare" — not because a woman suffered at Biden's hands, but because it hurts Biden's chances at the White House:. . .
