I take responsibility for this blog post

Dear White People Parodies Hollywood's 'I Take Responsibility' Video With a Pitch-Perfect Clapback
. . . "The original PSA showed a bunch of white celebrities including Sarah PaulsonDebra Messing, and Aaron Paul making somber platitudes to do...something about racism that's not entirely clear and was swiftly mocked online for being cringey and melodramatic." . . .
. . . "Never the one to let an opportunity for a slick, sick socially relevant burn to slide by, Dear White People's clapback put the criticisms of "I Take Responsibility" into clear view. In it, the white students of the show's fictional Winchester University do their own weepy "I'm sowwys" for their obliviousness and microaggressions on campus, and in moments like poor Abigail's (Sheridan Peirce) mea culpa for discussing her love of cocoa butter, or Muffy Tuttle's (Caitlin Carver) apology for "not posting the black square soon enough but leaving it up far too long" Dear White People proves again how it's one of the smartest and most relevant shows on TV, period. "I Take Responsibility" had it coming, and boy, it got it, good. "

'Racism is bad': Conservatives parody video of Hollywood celebrities taking 'responsibility' for racism  "A group of conservative commentators mocked Hollywood celebrities who appeared recently in a compiled a video taking "responsibility" for racism.
"Podcast host and author Allie Beth Stuckey published a video compilation on social media Wednesday showing her and other pundits mocking celebrities featured in a recently published video entitled "I Take Responsibility," which was part of an activism campaign from the NAACP.
" 'Injustice is bad. Racism is," conservative blogger Matt Walsh begins in the parody before ostensibly checking notes on his desk, "Bad.' " . . .

Very Serious Celebrity PSA
We are celebrities. Take us seriously. We are very courageous and brave. We are here to stop injustice. Because injustice is... wrong... A satire where Allie Stuckey, Lauren Chen, Andrew Klavan, Matt Walsh, Chad Prather, Michael Knowles, Alex Clark, Jesse Kelly, Stu Burguiere, Candace Owens lift up their voices in this inspiring video.
...
But this is fully accepted by liberals:

Why must we cower in fear of the left?

One truth is for sure: we are full of cold anger and come November freedom loving Americans will do what many of their elected leaders have not done: We will push back the socialist-Communist left and they will not know what hit them.  Dex Bahr
Rich Terrell
Where is the Republican pushback?
The left plays the long game, while Republicans simply react to what the left is doing.  As such, Democrats determine the rules of engagement.  Republicans lose an election, and they halt any conservative progress while providing little to no resistance to Democrat policies or judicial nominees.  Democrats lose elections, and leftism does not stop.  They resist tooth and nail Republican policies and judicial nominees.  Republicans lose and willingly accept minority status.  Democrats lose but maintain the attitude of the majority.
As American politicians cower before BLM, they get a lesson in courage from… France  . . . "If the Republic survives, this era will become an enduring blot of shame for the madness tolerated and even promoted by the commanding heights of our political, corporate, academic, and media establishments – in other words, our entire institutional leadership class."

About my 'racism' and 'privilege'  "Let me be blunt - I have a real problem being told about my supposed subconscious racism." . . .

Senator Josh Hawley Takes on The GOP Political Establishment – The Fraud of “The Conservative Bargain”…  "U.S. Senator Josh Hawley delivered a speech on the floor of the senate that deserves some attention.  The larger issue outlined by Senator Halwey surrounds the recent Supreme Court Bowstock decision authored by Justice Gorsuch.  However, in overlaying the judicial outcome, Hawley hits on the central issue he calls the “conservative bargain.”

"The entire speech is worth listening to, as the senator encapsulates many of the frustrations within the recent decision; but the segment at 07:15 cuts to the heart of the distinction between MAGA-Trump republicanism and the pathetic GOPe wing of the Mitch McConnell UniParty. We have previously call this “The Decepticon”  WATCH: . . .

Tucker Carlson most-watched cable news host despite advertisers dropping his show

AP featured imageWashington Examiner  "Fox News’s Tucker Carlson was the most-watched cable news host last week despite multiple companies pulling advertisements from his show for his comments on the Black Lives Matter movement.

"Carlson had 4 million viewers tune in to his program and 680,000 people from the coveted 25-54 age bracket between June 8-14, according to Nielsen ratings. Carlson bested host Sean Hannity, who had 3.9 million viewers, as well as Laura Ingraham, who earned 3.5 million viewers.
“ 'FOX News Channel (FNC) continued its dominance as the most-watched network in all of cable across total day and primetime, advancing its winning streak to 23 straight weeks in total day and 21 weeks in a row in primetime among total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research,” a Fox News press release read. “During breaking news coverage of the nationwide protests sparked by the death of George Floyd, the network also topped the cable competition across both dayparts in total viewers and the younger demographic.”
"Carlson has come under fire in recent days for his comments on the Black Lives Matter movement, which led to advertisers such as T-Mobile and Papa John’s pulling their ads.
"He said earlier in June on his program of the movement: “This may be a lot of things, this moment we are living through, but it is definitely not about black lives, and remember that when they come for you. And at this rate, they will.”
"T-Mobile said on June 3 that it would pull all future ads from the show.
" 'We haven’t run ads on Tucker Carlson Tonight since early May and have canceled all future placements," the company tweeted. "We will continue to support those who stand against racial injustice."
"ABC also said it had no plans to run future ads during the program.
" 'The ABC advertisements were placed on the show without our knowledge by third-party media buyers who were unaware that we do not advertise on the show, and they have now been notified not to place any further ads,” a spokesperson told Deadline, which reported the company had run about 30 ads on Carlson's prime-time show this year.
"Pizza chain Papa John’s said it would stop running ads on programs deemed an opinion show, according to the New York Times, saying the “placement of advertising is not intended to be an endorsement of any specific programming or commentary.' ”

One of the reasons?  Tucker Carlson Gave the Most Important, Riveting Monologue of His Career and It’s a Must Watch
"Tucker Carlson went live last night after a weekend of violent rioting and looting across many of America’s major cities. He took no prisoners in what was easily the most important monologue of his career. It’s a moment in media history that will still be talked about a decade from now. That’s how powerful it was, whether you agree with every conclusion or not." . . .

. . . "You can find the full transcript via The Federalist.
"While Carlson has long separated himself as a step above the other prime time hosts, both on his network and others, this cemented his status as an independent thinker not afraid to speak out. The abandonment of these cities by local officials? He nails them. Governors who pander to the violence? He nails them to. Yes, he even goes after President Trump.

A new nation, conceived in...in...campus leftism, maybe?

A Warning to Trump and Republicans: Leave the Nation of CHAZ/CHOP Alone!
. . . "Because here in America, our old, boring "A Republic, if you can keep it" thing is falling apart. It's not woke enough. We began "decolonizing" our libraries so that now, Americans can't even remember why we started this "republic" thing in the first place.
"Hail CHAZ/CHOP."

Seattle’s “Autonomous Zone” Has Armed Border Patrol & Deportations
"CHOP’s immigration policy appears to be more strict than the hardline stance leftists so often criticize President Trump for." . . .

. . . "Suddenly, in fact, gun control is the one subject we hear nothing about.  This is pretty surprising given that the 2020 Democrat presidential nominee hasn’t been officially named yet, and one of their very favorite candidates, Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, openly admitted, “Hell yes, we are going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.” . . .

Antifa Exposed! We Now Know Where Their Funding Is Coming From, They Name Names!

Tedium Media  "Project Veritas has done it once again. Last week, James O'Keefe released a video exposing what Antifa is all about and how they train to physically hurt people and render them helpless.
This time they are exposing where their funding is coming from and it's coming straight from the mouths of Antifa members.
"Project Veritas reported,
" 'Antifa is short for anti-fascist. The group has long claimed a leadership role in violent movements across America and the world.
“ 'They do not hesitate to either push back or incite some kind of violence. In our classes and in our meetings, before we do any sort of demonstration or Black Block, we talk about weapons detail and what we carry and what we should have,” said the Project Veritas Undercover Journalist.
"Earlier this week, President Donald Trump said the United States would designate “Antifa” as a terrorist organization.
"National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien echoed Trump’s comments Sunday morning, saying the violence “is being driven by ‘Antifa.’”
"Attorney General William Barr announced in a statement that he will enforce action against the group, saying “violent radical elements” are hijacking legitimate protests to “pursue their own separate, violent, and extremist agenda.”
"Here are some of the things that the Antifa members say in the Project Veritas video below:
“We actually did get a grant from them (Soros) around… We started a thing called a National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers.”“…I believe he (Steyer) has political ambitions, and he might not want to be directly connected.”“…Steyer might not want to be connected” “…Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, this at a certain point dominates the national news…it’s a very disruptive force.”"…we’re meeting with his (Tom Steyer) main adviser on impeachment. We’ve been talking to his assistant, he first said he was going to meet, he made the announcement…”

NBC News under fire for apparently pushing Google to remove conservative sites from ad platform

Political Cartoons by Tom Stiglich

Fox News  "NBC News is facing intense backlash for apparently influencing Google to punish two conservative news sites over what was deemed offensive coverage of the George Floyd protests.
"In a report published Tuesday afternoon, NBC News claimed Google "banned" The Federalist and ZeroHedge from Google Ads for "pushing unsubstantiated claims" about the Black Lives Matter movement. Google later pushed back, claiming that The Federalist "was never demonetized," and adding, "We worked with them to address issues on their site related to the comments section."
" 'We have strict publisher policies that govern the content ads can run on and explicitly prohibit derogatory content that promotes hatred, intolerance, violence or discrimination based on race from monetizing," a Google spokesperson initially told NBC News. NBC, however, did not link to the "derogatory content" from The Federalist or ZeroHedge.
"In addition, it appeared it was NBC News' inquiry into the matter that prompted Google's actions in the first place.
"Google's ban of the websites comes after the company was notified of research conducted by the Center for Countering Digital Hate, a British nonprofit that combats online hate and misinformation. They found that 10 U.S-based websites have published what they say are racist articles about the protests, and projected that the websites would make millions of dollars through Google Ads," NBC News reported." . . .

A vast left-wing conspiracy suppressing conservative voices includes Google, NBC and a shadowy foreign group  "
Remember when the progressive media feigned concern over foreign influence on our elections? Now, just months before a critical election, they are conspiring with foreign groups to destroy conservative publications, with the assistance of Google, the most powerful information provider in the history of the world.
"This tweet from the head of the foreign group shows the mentality at work:" . . .
"According to Federalist officials, Google demanded that the comments section be removed, or else it would be demonetized. For now, The Federalist has complied, but contends comments will be restored.  Zero Hedge apparently remains demonetized. And the comments section of YouTube (owned by Google) Continues to be a sewer of vile commentary.
"So far, outrage largely is limited to conservatives, with liberals apparently content to silence rater than debate conservative voices. The ACLU which once upon a time defended free speech is now fully committed to the left and needs to drop “Civil Liberties” from its name." . . .

Will Jewish and Christian Schools Teach the Truth About America and Racism?

Dennis Prager

No Jewish or Christian parent should send their child to a Jewish or Christian school that teaches otherwise.

"Do not follow the majority to do evil.”—Exodus 23:2.
"When I went to yeshiva day schools, America was celebrated. America was regarded, in the description of Menachem Schneerson (the Lubavitcher rebbe), the most influential rabbi of the 20th century, as a “medina shel chesed”—”a country of kindness.”
"He knew, as all American Jews knew, that there were many anti-Semites in America, that America should have done more for the Jews of Europe, that universities like Harvard limited the number of Jewish students, that prestigious law firms and country clubs barred Jews, etc. So, then, why did he describe America as a country of kindness? Why did my yeshiva in Brooklyn put on plays honoring George Washington? Why did my Orthodox Jewish day school utilize texts not only celebrating America but affirming America as a “melting pot”? Why did a Jew, Irving Berlin, write “God bless America”?
"The primary reason was that these Jews knew what the rest of the world was like. They had the wisdom to compare America with other countries, not, as the foolish, nihilistic left does, to utopia. Compared with the rest of the world, America was—and remains—a medina shel chesed.
"Was it such a country for every one of its citizens? Of course not. At the time Rabbi Schneerson described America as a “country of kindness,” the southern half of America enforced immoral and degrading Jim Crow laws, and racism was common in the North as well. I have noted the anti-Semitism in American life at that time. And gays were often ostracized and degraded.
"But the Torah teaches us that we are not to compare the past with the present. That is why Noah, the man God saves from the Flood, is described in Genesis as righteous “in his generations.” If Noah were to be compared with people in later generations, he would be found wanting. Abraham, the man chosen by God to be the father of His People, had a concubine and lied about his wife to save his own life. But only fools—like all those who want to tear down monuments to George Washington and Thomas Jefferson—would dismiss Abraham’s greatness. Jacob, the man God renamed “Israel,” owned slaves. Should Jews cease calling themselves the “children of Israel”? Should the State of Israel change its name?
"That is what Jewish—and all religious—schools should be teaching when discussing Washington or Jefferson having slaves. If we are to dismiss the greatness of two of the founders of the freest country in human history — not to mention the best non-Jewish country Jews have ever lived in — then we should do likewise to the Jewish patriarchs. Moses had a fellow Israelite executed for publicly violating the Sabbath. Should his sculpture be removed from the Supreme Court? Will Jewish day schools start dismissing the greatness of all our ancestors? If they start doing this to Washington and Jefferson, they should be consistent.
"Or should they do what the Torah does? While never ignoring the flaws of giants, remember why they were giants." . . .

Maybe a border wall isn't so bad, eh?

Seattle Reaches Deal With ‘CHOP’ To Remove Temporary Roadblocks, Replace With Concrete Barriers   . . . "The Seattle Department of Transportation is installing concrete barriers in the middle of Pine Street, running East and West, which will split the road for both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This will allow for emergency service vehicles to pass through the area." . . .

Orthodox Jews Have Had Enough Of Mayor De Blasio, Cut Locks On Closed New York City Park To Let children play

WZ
          Embedded video

"De Blasio welded it shut after they dared protest it being closed, despite other parks being open and massive BLM protests being allowed, endorsed and joined by de Blasio.

"Via Washington Examiner:
. . . Assemblyman Joe Lentol expressed disapproval of closing the park, tweeting that its "unacceptable" to not allow kids to play in the park and demanding that Mayor Bill de Blasio open up the city's parks and ease the restrictions prompted by COVID-19. Members of the city's Jewish community were also singled out by de Blasio in April for violating social distancing guidelines during the health crisis.
"Brooklyn saw thousands of protesters march outside the Brooklyn Museum over the weekend, demanding justice for black transgender people who have been murdered. De Blasio himself has also joined some protests that followed the May 25 death of George Floyd in Minneapolis." .  .  .

Let's see: what can we cancel next?

Cancel Culture -- What Happens When Everything Gets Cancelled?   "Cancel culture refers to the popular practice of withdrawing support for (canceling) public figures and companies after they have done or said something considered objectionable or offensive. It may be an innocuous word or tweet from years ago, that through the long memory of social media can resurface, leading to public group shaming of an individual.
"Such shaming typically goes only one way, based on one’s politics. For others it’s just a matter of being caught in the stampede. A “Saturday Night Live” cast member, Shane Gillis, made a derogatory comment about Asians a few years ago and was fired for his comments.
"Uber liberals however, like MSNBC’s Joy Reid, get a pass for past homophobic blog posts. Other woke liberals who toe the line on global warming and abortion also get a pass for racially insensitive behavior like wearing blackface. They weren’t singing ‘Mammy” with Al Jolson a century ago, but wearing blackface far more recently. Examples include Howard Stern, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Virginia Governor Ralph (Coonman) Northam.
"The cancel culture has morphed to cancelling America because of who it might offend. What happens when everything gets cancelled and we become a society described by letters and numbers, eliminating our rich history and traditions? The cancel culture is leading us to an Orwellian dystopic society, from America the Beautiful to The Hunger Games.
"The self-appointed censors have found their voices after George Floyd’s death and the immediate end to COVID-19 threats, with protests and riots not only now condoned but actually encouraged. What are some of the casualties?" . . .
Cancel the police and it will be the Hunger Games in American cities. Truckers have already promised to not deliver to cities that defund police. Minneapolis can grow its own food in winter when the temperatures are below zero. Good luck with that.. . .

Those People We Tried to Cancel? They’re All Hanging Out Together  . . . "Ms. Herzog became a member of a unique emerging class of people — journalists, academics, opinion writers — canceled for bad, conservative or offensive opinions.
"As it happens, cancellation is bringing many of them together." . . .

Unfazed By Thought Police, Tucker Carlson Speaks Truth to BLM Power  "In the face of recent announcements from companies dropping their ads from his
show, Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson was unfazed by the liberal thought police as he delivered a 17-minute-plus opening monologue Monday night speaking truth to the power of the Black Lives Matter movement. He called out their bullying tactics, manipulation of our moral values, and the brutalization of anyone who even offered mild criticism of the group." . . .
