Tackling the rumors about Trump heading to the White House in August

If one applies this theory to the Constitution's rules for election, which are nothing more than an agreement between the government and the people, and if the various election audits show that fraudulent elections led several states to certify Biden as the winner, one doesn't need a "Reinstatement Clause" in the Constitution to right the wrong done to America. . . .

Andrea Widberg  "Maggie Haberman, one of the New York Times journalists most affected by Trump Derangement Syndrome, tweeted on Tuesday that Donald Trump "has been telling a number of people he's in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August."  Because Haberman doesn't have the best reputation for reliability, many people discounted her statement.  However, Charles C.W. Cooke, who writes for the fanatically NeverTrump National Review, confirmed that his sources agree with her sources:

I can attest, from speaking to an array of different sources, that Donald Trump does indeed believe quite genuinely that he — along with former senators David Perdue and Martha McSally — will be "reinstated" to office this summer after "audits" of the 2020 elections in Arizona, Georgia, and a handful of other states have been completed. I can attest, too, that Trump is trying hard to recruit journalists, politicians, and other influential figures to promulgate this belief — not as a fundraising tool or an infantile bit of trolling or a trial balloon, but as a fact.

"Wow!  That sounds scary.  (And I'll have more on what Cooke writes in a minute.)  However, someone who likely talked to Trump himself, rather than talking to people who talked to other people, says this is all nonsense:

Lara Trump said Thursday that people are getting 'worked up' over nothing and her father-in-law does not actually expect to be reinstated as president in August — despite reports stating otherwise.

'As far as I know, there are no plans for Donald Trump to be in the White House in August. Maybe there's something I don't know,' Lara told the Fox & Friends panel Thursday morning. . . .

I’m A Mom Seeking Records Of Critical Race and Gender Curriculum, Now The School Committee May Sue To Stop Me.

Legal Insurrection: North Kingstown Mom Nicole Solas: “They smear people who ask them questions, who disagree with them”

“[T]he chair of the school committee should resign immediately… And it’s just a false accusation of racism that they use to bully you into silence…. And if this is any indication of what’s going on in my school district, our town is in deep, deep trouble.”

"Nicole Solas is the mother whose child is enrolled to enter kindergarten in the South Kingstown, Rhode Island, school district, and has been in the news after the School Committee threatened to sue her for filing a series of public record requests concerning Critical Race and Gender theory in public schools.

The story broke on Legal Insurrection on June 1, 2021, when Nicole went public with what was happening, I’m A Mom Seeking Records Of Critical Race and Gender Curriculum, Now The School Committee May Sue To Stop Me.

We also covered the public forum last night at which the School Committee voted not to sue, and directed it’s counsel to try to resolve the dispute through mediation, South Kingstown (RI) School Committee Votes NOT To Sue Mom Nicole Solas Who Sought CRT Records

In that post I noted particularly outrageous comments to the Providence Journal and in a Facebook post (archive) by the Chairwoman of the School Committee, Emily Cummisky, about Nicole and the group called Parents Defending Education, which Cummiskey labeled a “nationally organized racist group.” I wrote:

Parents Defending Education is the national group run by Nikki Neily and Asra Nomani, each of whom has been on Legal Insurrection Foundation webinar panels about CRT in education. Not that it should matter, but neither one is “white.” To call Parents Defending Education “racist” is nothing short of outrageous." . . .

Hillary Clinton Lies About What Happened on January 6

Right of Center by Broc Smith. via American Thinker

Townhall  "As Spencer reported on Friday, Senate Republicans successfully filibustered a bill which would create a commission to study the events of January 6, in a 54-35 vote. That the left would be unhappy isn't surprising, but it really is unhelpful for leading figures like Hillary Clinton to use her platform to lie about what happened that day." . . .

Hillary Clinton is a congenital liar (2016)  "In 1996, The New York Times columnist William Safire diagnosed Hillary Clinton’s real problem. He called her a “congenital liar.”

"Congenital is defined as “having by nature a specified character.”

"Following Hillary Clinton’s health scare Sunday in New York, we may have reached the conclusion author Mary McCarthy did when speaking of playwright Lillian Hellman: “Every word [Hellman] writes is a lie, including ‘and’ and ‘the.’

A person’s character is a clue to the entire person and both Clintons have displayed over many years severe character deficiencies.

"Abraham Lincoln said, “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

"Or her." . . .

Major League Baseball Goes to Bat for Kneeling, and It Looks Like a Strike-Out

Major League Baseball Goes to Bat for Kneeling, and It Looks Like a Strike-Out – RedState  "Major League Baseball is taking a stand for those who won’t.

"As previously noted by RedState’s Becca Lower, players for the San Francisco Giants — including Jaylin Davis, Mike Yastrzemski, and Austin Slater — took a knee Monday night.

"Two coaches, along with manager Gabe Kapler, joined in.

"On social media, not everyone approved, including former Giant and two-time world series champion Aubrey Huff:

"About not being invited, here’s how Aubrey’s explained it:

“When I asked why I wasn’t invited, [team CEO Larry Baer] told [me] that the board didn’t approve of my Twitter posts and my political support of Donald Trump. … If it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t be having a reunion, but if they want to stick with their politically correct, progressive bulls—, that’s fine.”

"As for kneeling, many fans took a Hufflike stance: . . .

Biden's speech in Tulsa could not have been more disunifying, dishonest or more designed to inflame.

Biden’s ‘bigot’ smear vs. Trump voters: Devine (nypost.com)

Trollin'Joe, the demagog

"Joe Biden is America’s biggest troll.

"His speech in Tulsa could not have been more disunifying, dishonest or more designed to inflame.

"Who is the president’s speechwriter? Goebbels?

"No, white supremacy is not a threat worse than ISIS.

"No, Texas’ voter ID bill is not “a truly unprecedented assault on our democracy.”

"Biden could have given an uplifting speech on Tuesday at a ceremony marking 100 years since the Tulsa Race Massacre.

"Instead, he wheeled out his now-familiar refrain that democracy is “in peril” from the enemy within.

“Terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today.” Not ISIS, not al Qaeda, white supremacists, he declared, citing “the intelligence community.”

"Does he remember ISIS?

"The images of its atrocities are etched into the memories of the rest of us.

"ISIS gang-raped Yazidi women. It ethnically cleansed whole swathes of Iraq and Syria, slaughtering Christians and driving them out of their homes. It threw homosexuals off buildings." . . .

The Kamala Harris cringe continues |

Washington Examiner  "Vice President Kamala Harris had one job: Be the woman of color Joe Biden needed at his side to win the presidency. That job was completed in November, and now, it's clear that Harris doesn't know what to do with herself.

"A New York Times story on Thursday attempted to make something out of Biden's recent announcement that he was appointing Harris to lead his administration's efforts to dismantle all the ways that states organize their elections. (This is often referred to by Democrats and the media as “expanding voter rights.”)

" 'Wow. Sounds like a serious undertaking," you might say. "How's she going to pull that off?!"

"The article answered it this way: "Her advisers say she will take a wide-ranging approach to the issue by giving speeches, convening stakeholders and using the vice-presidential bully pulpit to raise awareness of the importance of the vote." . . .

. . . "It's like that scene from HBO's Veep when fictional Vice President Selina Meyer mistakenly makes a promise that backs her into a political corner that she can't escape. Realizing what she's done, she ridiculously instructs her staff, "I need you to make me not have said that."

"Harris is aimless, and it shows with every pathetic attempt she makes at looking productive. She's the real-life Selina Meyer." . . .

RNC to Boycott Presidential Debates Unless Organizers Change the Way GOP Candidates Are Treated

Western Journal  "Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel wrote a letter on Tuesday night to the Commission on Presidential Debates that threatened to advise candidates against participating in future presidential debates unless changes are made.

“ 'The CPD’s repeated missteps and the partisan actions of its Board Members make clear that the organization no longer provides the fair and impartial forum for presidential debates which the law requires and the American people deserve,” McDaniel wrote.

“ 'Our sincere hope is that the CPD accepts this criticism and works to correct its mistakes,” she added." . . .

Dems' court-packing threats may be backfiring -

 American Thinker   "
Jonathan Turley, one of the last honest and principled liberals in the public arena, suggests that the Democrats' threats to bully the justices are backfiring and that the Court is sending strong warning signals to them.  In a post to his own website yesterday, the George Washington University law professor wrote:

Chief Justice John Roberts and his colleagues seem to be sending a message that the Court is not so rigidly ideological as Democratic members and activists suggest.

"He believes that a series of unanimous court decisions as the current term ends "seem[s] to be sending a message that the Court is not so rigidly ideological as Democratic members and activists suggest."

This is an extraordinary litany of unanimous decisions and could in part reflect an implied message from the justices that this is a court that is not nearly as rigid and divided as suggested by Democratic members and activists

"Turley does not say so, but there may be an implied threat by some of the liberal justices to vote with the conservatives if the Dems actually succeed in packing the court.  In my view, they could do this out of loyalty to the institution of the SCOTUS (an institution to which they have devoted their lives, after all) now that its independence as a separate and equal branch of government is under threat.

"The threats to pack the court are political thuggery, a term Turley does not use, but which I think is appropriate.  In another post a day earlier, Turley cited the intimidation attempts of Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Stolen Valor )" . . .

Did Joe Biden Actually Say These People Are the Greatest Terror Threat We Face? Is This a Joke?

 Matt Vespa (townhall.com)

This quite obviously isn’t true but it’s also the (relatively) rare variety of bulls**t political lie that actively makes America less safe, as all the real lethal threats - from terrorism to a rising China and an increasingly belligerent Russia - are deprioritized." Drew Holden

"It's at a point where you know where this is heading when it comes to Democrats taking the stump. Joe Biden spoke at length about the 100-year anniversary of the vicious Tulsa race riot. Yet, you can see where liberal Joe Biden and "woke" Joe Biden come out. The former is his usual self, the latter is the character he plays to pander to the vocal and increasingly militant progressive base of the Democratic Party. He's out of his element in that regard. Joe is a liberal, but this attempt at being a super lefty is just awkward. It's already bad enough that the man has multiple brain farts during these appearances. Of course, he had to channel liberal America's favorite pastime: hating white people. Worse, generating fear of white people. For a party that stresses unity, they sure know how to break out the racial cookie cutter to ensure the exact opposite. Joe Biden said that the greatest threat facing America is terrorism from white supremacy:" . . .

There are tens of millions of supporters of radical Islam who want to kill us. That cannot be said for white supremacists, who get an ungodly amount of free media coverage whenever these liberal media clowns prop them up as the hordes of Mordor. It's several dudes in a basement watching re-runs of "Triumph of the Will."

How the Teachers Union Politicized COVID

AfterMath

How the Teachers Union Politicized COVID - American Thinker   . . ."Parents learned the extent of Weingarten’s attempts to shutter schools through an unlikely source: The New York Post had leaked e-mails between Weingarten and her AFT’s contacts in the CDC. In the embarrassing exchange, Weingarten offered the CDC recommendations that she asserted would “strengthen” the agency’s guidelines in the education sector. She proved most helpful as a nonscientist. The CDC caved in and adopted new guidelines, prolonging school closures.". . .

Woke Classrooms: University Education Programs Source of Problem | National Review   "In the past few months, there have been countless stories of K–12 schools succumbing to and endorsing the excesses of progressive ideology — teachers required to make public anti-racism statements, the canceling of AP tests if black students do not score as well as whites, class materials that celebrate communism, and “ethnomathematics” which de-emphasizes the need to find the “right answer.”
"Thankfully, most teachers that I know don’t align with such extremes. My own colleagues whisper their concerns and discuss their disapproval after such meetings. A poll from Education Week found that most teachers identify as moderate.". . .

Critical Race Theory & Education: How Dems Will Push Protest Civics and CRT on Schools | National Review  "The national rebellion against Critical Race Theory, leftist indoctrination, and enforced political activism in our schools grows larger every day. Sadly, the current assault on K-12 is but a foretaste of what is to come. President Biden and congressional Democrats are pulling out the stops to force Critical Race Theory (CRT) and “action civics” (better called “protest civics,” because it trains students to be leftist protesters) onto every school in the country.". . .
