Washington Examiner
"A New York Times story on Thursday attempted to make something out of Biden's recent announcement that he was appointing Harris to lead his administration's efforts to dismantle all the ways that states organize their elections. (This is often referred to by Democrats and the media as “expanding voter rights.”)
" 'Wow. Sounds like a serious undertaking," you might say. "How's she going to pull that off?!"
"The article answered it this way: "Her advisers say she will take a wide-ranging approach to the issue by giving speeches, convening stakeholders and using the vice-presidential bully pulpit to raise awareness of the importance of the vote." . . .
. . . "It's like that scene from HBO's Veep when fictional Vice President Selina Meyer mistakenly makes a promise that backs her into a political corner that she can't escape. Realizing what she's done, she ridiculously instructs her staff, "I need you to make me not have said that."
"Harris is aimless, and it shows with every pathetic attempt she makes at looking productive. She's the real-life Selina Meyer." . . .
