Three Retired Generals Loudly Demand A Military Coup In 2024

I understand their contempt for those running this nation, but something like this could make our stable  nation - for two centuries - become just another tin-pot banana republic that investors would stand clear of. TD

Obama also purged the military of any flag rank officer not reliably progressive, a process Andrea Widburg document at her blog and at American Thinker (here and here). Those who remain today are nothing but progressive race hustlers, such as the odious Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, or traitorous politicians in uniform, such as General Mark “white rage” Milley.

American Thinker  "Democrats claim that democracy is under attack in America and Democrats must act decisively to protect it. They’ve been trying to end the filibuster, nationalize voting, and pack the Supreme Court. The most ominous “fix,” which hinges on the myth of a “January 6 Insurrection,” sees retired generals argue that the military must purge the ranks of Trump supporters and prepare for a military coup to block a future contested election. This is unconstitutional, illegal, and spells the end of American democracy.

"Victor Davis Hanson notes that leftists are loudly worrying about democracy’s end while ignoring all they’ve done to end democracy, such as bringing in millions of illegal aliens, many of whom are being given the vote; destroying centuries-old governing traditions such as the filibuster; packing the court; ending the Electoral College; and more.

If Democrats can kill the Senate filibuster (and Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema is the only thing stopping them, not the craven Senator Mitch McConnell), they have the unfettered ability to enshrine vote fraud and pack the Supreme Court. The latter move spells the final—and deeply unconstitutional—progressive rewrite of our Constitution, and ends our constitutional republic.

"The wild card in all of this, though, is what would the military do if, in fact, the progressives were able to achieve these goals (or even if they weren’t). Three retired officers have signaled that they want to purge the military of Trump supporters, and then plan a takeover of the military and related federal agencies that coordinate with the military to effect a coup in 2024. Considering the current state of the Pentagon, this may be more than a progressive fantasy.

"Thirty years ago, when I was a U.S. Army Infantry Officer, our military was unquestionably a politically neutral, colorblind institution. It was the single most well-integrated institution in our nation and, indeed, was the primary engine integrating our nation.  But progressives have done everything they can to turn the military into a dysfunctional machine warped by racial, sexual, and gender identity divisions. This began with Obama, who injected the toxic myth of white supremacy and the tenets of critical race theory." . . .

A patient at a care facility was in cardiac arrest. Paramedics refused to enter, citing covid restrictions.

Jaclyn Peiser  "When the police officer entered a room at a southern California care facility last month, he found a panicked nurse performing chest compressions on a patient, body-camera footage shows. The patient was in cardiac arrest, and the staff did not have the proper equipment to help, according to a police report.

"But just outside the entrance of the building stood paramedics equipped with possible lifesaving tools. They had refused to cross the threshold, claiming it was against state covid rules, according to the report.

"So the officer jumped into action, helping the staff push the bed, which was not on wheels, through the building and out the front door to the first responders from the Rialto Fire Department.

"The patient, who has not been identified by authorities, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.". . .

. . ."A second employee pleaded for help and said they were providing CPR and "could not move the patient and disrupt the rescue effort," Ballew wrote in his report.

" 'You are doing the same thing we would have to do if we went in," one of the fire personnel said, according to Ballew. "So, hurry up and bring him out so we can help."

"Ballew said one of the first responders then turned to him and said if the care center staff did not like the policy, they "should call their congressman," the report states. " . . .

Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Theory of Stupidity

 Bookworm Room

I was not familiar with Bonhoeffer’s Theory of Stupidity, so I found this video fascinating and thought-provoking.

"A friend sent me this video about Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Theory of Stupidity, a theory Bonhoeffer developed after being imprisoned for speaking out about Germany’s turn to Naziism. I found it fascinating and thought-provoking:"

"Here’s something else to think about, though. I noticed how careful the video was to avoid saying that it was Jews who were being attacked and persecuted. Therefore, I wonder about the political orientation of the people behind Sprouts, the company that made this video." . . .

. . ."That, of course, led me to another thought. We conservatives look at the increasingly totalitarian left, with its racial and sexual obsessions, anti-Semitism, militarization of the government, determination to exert complete control over all Americans, and manifest efforts to punish anyone who doesn’t fall in line, and we think “It’s the Nazis all over again (or the communists, or the Mullahs, or the military juntas, or any other totalitarian dictatorship).”

"With that thought in mind, it’s very easy for a conservative to see American leftists as the morally stupid people Bonhoeffer described. This is especially true given that they live entirely within a slogan-filled bubble that insulates them in a world of leftist values. Their media, movies, educational institutions, technology: It’s all a carefully curated narrative that ensures that leftists don’t have to analyze facts or ideas that are antithetical to their belief system." . . .

Young voters abandon Biden

Naomi Lim, White House Reporter  "Younger people have become disenchanted with President Joe Biden, the septuagenarian rapidly losing support with the demographic that was wary of him during the 2020 Democratic primary.

"On average, fewer than 3 in 10 adults under the age of 30 approve of Biden's job performance as president, and a majority disapproves, according to online polling conducted by the Economist and YouGov. Biden's net negative 21 approval rating with the demographic is his worst among any age group, the organizations found. On top of that, Biden has a net negative 17 rating among people aged between 30 and 44.

"The Economist-YouGov findings suggest Biden's popularity is dropping fastest with younger people, who earlier this year rewarded him with a net 32 approval rating. Biden currently has a negative 5 rating among adults aged 45 to 64, and a negative 8 with those 65 and older.

"The Economist-YouGov polling is not an outlier, aligning with Quinnipiac University data. In Quinnipiac's first national survey of Biden's presidency in February, 18- to 34-year-olds gave him a net 12 approval rating while he scored a net 15 rating from 35- to 49-year-olds. That plummeted to a net negative 10 among the former and a negative 21 with the latter last month. . ."

Conservative Cancel Culture; "More Woke Companies To Avoid: List #4"

The Blue State Conservative  "The epidemic of wokeness can infect companies in any industry. We’ve already seen it contaminate companies from the transportation, restaurant, banking, and online retail industries. Wokeness is all around us, and it’s unacceptable. Historically, many of these organizations are some of our favorite companies and brands who gladly take our money while trampling on our conservative values. Ceasing doing business with certain companies on our list may be difficult, if not impossible for some of us. But at the very least we must understand who these companies are if we want to have an impact.

The first three editions of this series are available here:

  1. 12 Woke Companies To Avoid
  2. More Woke Companies To Avoid: List #2
  3. More Woke Companies To Avoid: List #3

[Note that prior to explanations and justifications for each company, we’ve listed the official company name, its stock trading symbol, the industry in which the company operates, and the company’s annual gross revenue and market cap (if available), with all figures represented in millions.]

#29: Best Buy. . .   "As Best Buy celebrates Pride month this year, we also recognize the challenges and continued attacks the LGBTQIA+ community has faced over the past year — especially transgender and gender non-conforming people.

We’re committed to creating an inclusive culture, both inside our company and beyond. We’ve achieved a 100% rating on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC)’s Corporate Equality Index for 16 years in a row, earning the distinction of being a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality." . . .

And then there is #34: Dick’s Sporting Goods

Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc   SYM: DKS   Retail – Sporting Goods    Rev: $9,584   MC: N/A

"Dick’s is still one of the largest players in the sporting goods lane, but they’ve struggled the last few years due to their wokeness, particularly with their anti-gun stance. Gun owners are passionate about the Second Amendment, and there are a lot of us. But Dick’s is more than just anti-gun. They posted the BLM-sympathizing black box on Twitter during those mostly peaceful riots and have openly supported BLM. Additionally, Dick’s is all-in with their celebration of LGBTQ pride. (Isn’t it ironic that a company called Dick’s is so prominent in their support of LGBTQ activism?)" . . .

Crowd Demands Arizona Attorney General Take Action Regarding Alleged Fraud in 2020 Election

The Epoch Times

"A crowd of more than 100 people rallied outside the office of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich in Phoenix on Dec. 17 to demand the prosecution of any criminal activity associated with the 2020 election in Maricopa County.

"A contingent of police offers kept people off the front steps of the Attorney General’s office building except for event organizers and speakers.

"Those gathered called out not only for fair and honest elections but that Brnovich begin criminal prosecutions for alleged wrongdoing stemming from the 2020 election in Maricopa County, Arizona’s most populous county with over 2.5 million registered voters.

"Arizona state Rep. Mark Finchem (R) said that there “was at least probable cause if not clear and convincing evidence that we had significant discrepancies in the election.”

"Finchem said if there are “lower-level people in the food chain” that engaged in criminal activity” in the election, authorities could “try and flip them to go up the food chain.' ” . . .

Victor Davis Hanson and our miseducated youth

...But now, and for the better part of two generations, our proponents of cultural self-loathing, even more irrationally and reality averse, have taught the young to believe that all of our achievements and endeavors are mirages, and our entire history tainted with evil. Nonsense, of course. But the untutored young believe what their elders teach them.

Jared Peterson   "In a just and sensible America, Victor Davis Hanson would be chair of the history department at Harvard, teaching a mandatory and beloved course in the history of Western Civilization, to be followed in undergraduates’ sophomore year by his equally popular year-long course in American history, both of which would be emulated nationwide by most if not all American colleges and universities.

"These courses would be fact intensive, and unlike the rather hagiographic picture students like this writer received during the 50’s, would not only emphasize the achievements of America and the West, but would honestly and rationally confront their infractions and low points. But the overarching message would be clear: Though imperfect, as are all human endeavors, the creative genius of the West has given humanity the vast majority of what has made the modern world superior materially and, through the Judeo- Christian tradition, preferable morally to much of the past; and America can fairly claim to be the finest model of a nation whose governmental and economic system has produced the most fairness,  prosperity and ordered freedom, for the largest percentage of its people, of any nation in history.

"But alas, this was not to be. Instead, since the seventies we have lost the better part of two generations of badly mis-educated American youth; and the inability of any American institution today to vigorously refute the patent falsehoods about our nation and the West being spewed by the woke left is a direct consequence of that tragic miseducation." . . .

Biden Tells. . .Black College Graduates About How He “desegregated restaurants and movie theaters” During Civil Rights Era*

*Title edited by TD because it looked too MSNBC and CNN-ish in the original form.TD

100%FedUp

"Yesterday, during a commencement speech to a group of black college graduates at South Carolina State, an HSBC, Joe Biden, who can barely read America’s real national anthem from a teleprompter, tried to make himself more relatable by telling the Black students he knows the words to BLM’s “Black National Anthem.” It’s hard to know if Joe is intentionally lying or if his completely fabricated stories from the past are a part of his dementia, but after he lied about knowing the words to an imaginary national anthem, Joe told a really big whopper—one that can be easily refuted.

"Hoping to make himself more relatable to the students, Biden shared a lie with them, “I got started in politics because of the Civil Rights movement,” he said. “I notice some of you are looking—I thought that you were wondering how does he know the Black national anthem? Well, because I sat in a Black church after going to 7 o’clock mass – I’m a practicing Catholic—at 9 o’clock on the east side getting ready to go out and desegregate restaurants and movie theaters.”

"Only Joe could combine a lie with an almost entirely incomprehensible statement." . . .

Gen. Flynn Given 'Green Light' to Sue CNN in Massive Court Win

 Neon Nettle

Case brought by Flynn’s brother John “Jack” Flynn and sister-in-law

"Former Trump national security advisor Michael Flynn has been handed a win by a judge enabling his family to sue establishment media network CNN for slandering him and his family as followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory.

"Only recently, CNN wrote a large check to former Covington High School student Nicholas Sandmann for false reports he sought to belittle a Native American gentleman during a Washington, D.C. protest.

"A federal judge on Thursday allowed a case brought by Flynn’s brother John “Jack” Flynn and sister-in-law Leslie Flynn to proceed against CNN.

"U.S. District Judge Gregory Woods’ ruling says the network aired a report this year entitled “CNN Goes Inside A Gathering of QAnon Followers.' ”. . .

The woke alphabet

Mother FORCES Her Child To Read GayBC's (aka Woke Alphabet)

Eric Utter  "When I was learning to spell in elementary school, ‘A’ was for apple.

"Not anymore. Wokeism has escaped from college campuses, matriculated through high schools, and taken over our grade schools, all the way down through kindergarten.

"Now, ‘A’ is for ‘Antifa’ or maybe ‘anogender.’

"The following is a progressive woke version of our alphabet, at least two of which are real examples from an actual grammar school.

  • ‘A’ is for anogender (The completely normal feeling we all have at times of a gender that fades into something else and then goes back to its original state)
  • ‘B’ is for bisexual (A completely normal person who is attracted to both boys and girls)
  • ‘C’ is for capitalism (An evil economic system designed to oppress minorities and the differently-abled)
  • ‘D’ is for Democrat (The American political party that cares about the planet and people’s feelings)
  • ‘E’ is for evil (Like Trump and the Republican Party)
  • ‘F’ is for Fox News (An illegitimate cable television network that serves the Republican Party)
  • ‘G’ is for gay (Gay people are attracted to members of their own sex. Yay gay!)
  • ‘H’ is for health (Always wear your mask and get fully vaccinated! Listen to Dr. Fauci!)
  • ‘I’ is for intolerance (Intolerance is always bad…unless it is of the unvaccinated and/or Republicans)
  • ‘J’ is for justice (Justice is always good…unless it is for the unvaccinated and/or Republicans)
  • ‘K’ is for kink (The fondness for abnormal sexual practices. This is completely normal)
  • ‘L’ is for lesbian (Females that are attracted to other females. A good thing)
  • ‘M’ is for male (Males often oppress females and many possess toxic masculinity. This/they are bad)
  • ‘N’ is for nationalism (Love of one’s country. This is a bad thing, especially love of the United States)
  • ‘O’ is for oppression (What white people do to people of color and men do to women)
  • ‘P’ is for the patriarchy (A system of society in which men totally unjustly hold power over women)
  • ‘Q’ is for queer (A gender identity that does not correspond to established ideas of sexuality and gender, especially heterosexual norms. Another word for ‘gay.’)
  • ‘R’ is for racist (Someone who discriminates against others because of their race. Also, someone who doesn’t recognize race. Also, someone who claims to not be a racist)
  • ‘S’ is for sexist (Someone who discriminates against those who identify as female)
  • ‘T’ is for transgender (Denotes a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex. A person who identifies as a member of the opposite sex. A hero)
  • ‘U’ is for unsafe (This is how someone who disagrees with you on something makes you feel. Not good)
  • ‘V’ is for Vapogender (A gender that sort of feels like smoke; it can be seen on a shallow level but once you go deeper, it disappears and you are left with no gender and only tiny wisps of what you thought it was)
  • ‘W’ is for woke (Always being alert to injustice in society, especially racism. We pledge to be woke!)
  • ‘X’ is for xenophobia (Prejudice against people from other countries. We don’t like xenophobia!)
  • ‘Y’ is for yes we can! (Rid the world of straight, white Christians!)
  • ‘Z’ is for zero tolerance (Of straight, white Christians. And other bad things!)

The San Francisco exodus isn’t over, according to new migration data. Here’s where people are moving

Californians are not just going to Texas Ex-Californians disproportionately move to a few states when they decide to leave the Golden State. By net moves, the most popular destination states for ex-Californians during the pandemic were Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Washington.

SF Chronicle  "For years, a similar number of people moved out of San Francisco as into it. But that changed during the pandemic. Excluding moves from abroad, over 72,000 more people have moved out of the city than in since the beginning of 2020—a figure that is almost eight times higher than the same period in 2018-2019.

"The Chronicle received an exclusive look at data on California migration patterns from the California Policy Lab, a research group based out of the University of California. The data, called the University of California Consumer Credit Panel, tracks movements of the approximately 90% of Californian adults with active credit information every quarter. It shows the number of Californians that have moved both within counties and to and from other states.

"The data shows that during the pandemic, California had far higher levels of what’s called “negative net domestic migration” compared to the prior two years. That is, the number of Californians leaving the state for other parts of the country has increased, while the number of people moving into the state from the rest of the U.S. has decreased.

"However, this change does not necessarily reflect a “CalExodus,” the hyped-up concept of Californians leaving the state in droves. While move-outs have increased during the pandemic, the steep uptick in domestic out-migration stems mostly from fewer Americans entering California, not more Californians leaving the state." . . .
