Biden has become the unseen ghost at the funeral that is his presidency

Andrea Widburg  "Few people looking at Joe Biden believe that, despite his seat in the Oval Office, he is calling the shots in his presidency. He’s a puppet, willing to preside over the death of a nation to end his corrupt career with a moment at the pinnacle of the American government. That he is nothing but an ineffectual figurehead—not even a minor celebrity—comes through loud and clear in a 15-second video of Biden at a toy store.

"In April, a video emerged showing guests completely ignoring Biden at a White House event. The apparent reason then was that a singularly ungracious Barack Obama was soaking up the spotlight, so much so that he deliberately turned his back on the ostensible President of the United States of America:. . .

. . ."In A Christmas Carol, when the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come shows Scrooge what awaits him—standing invisibly by as people volunteer to attend his funeral only if they get free food, while those who once served him celebrate his passing as an opportunity to enrich themselves—Scrooge has the opportunity to and the gift of making a change to his life. Scrooge willingly expresses remorse and seizes the chance for redemption.

"It’s different for Biden. His is a life filled with opportunism, graft, crime, and moral corruption. He’s already the ghost. He’s incapable of remorse, and there will be no redemption.

"Because he’s such an awful human being, I can’t say that there’s anything sad about seeing him already consigned to the living hell of invisibility. I’m only sad for the nation that had this man foisted upon it to preside over its decline."

The Rapidly Dissipating Art of Thinking

Call out the government on dozens of issues that have never made sense before and don’t now.  We must make their ability to control false narratives ever more difficult.

Allan J. Feifer "What do all of the following have in common?

  • I have a right to practice recreational oblivion (drug use).\I have a right to steal “stuff” from stores and not get prosecuted.
  • I have a right to believe my “facts” are equal to yours, and then I can make you live by mine.
  • I have a “right” to come to America, and then you must support me to become a citizen.
  • I have a right to wealth equal to yours, and if that means taking it from you, that’s okay.
  • I have a right to say whatever I want, but you don’t because you are irredeemably White
  • I have a right not to work if I don’t want to because the government is obligated to support me.

"They’re all modern attitudes that are totally antithetical to a structured and sound thought process!  I could go on endlessly as all or most of the above are valid points for too many greedy people.

The Russians Are Laughing At Us

Joey’s Choice

The American Spectator  "President Joe Biden has humiliated himself and his country on the global stage. He let the Russians spring from American confinement a Russian arms dealer known as the “Merchant of Death” who sells weapons to terrorists and our adversaries in exchange for a WNBA player who had been detained in Russia for illegally bringing drugs into the country.

"As I said in my column last week, I congratulate Brittney Griner on her return to freedom. I wish her well. Sitting in a slammer in a Russian penal colony is nothing like sitting in a hotel room in Yekaterinburg smoking hashish (if you like that kind of thing). Brittney is now back home in a country she openly protests when the national anthem is played during her basketball games, to the cooing delight of liberals.

"But as for Biden and his administration, the Kremlin played them like a fiddle, exchanging the vaping, doping, hoops player for the notorious Viktor Bout. The outrage is made worse given that the Biden administration left behind U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, among other Americans held in Russia.

Meathead speaks
"In December 2018, Whelan was arrested by the Russian FSB, the successor organization to the KGB, the organization that groomed Vladimir Putin. The KGB, of course, was masterful in disinformation and manipulation. The FSB knew what to do with Whelan. In June 2020, he was convicted and sentenced to 16 years in prison under charges of “espionage.” From the outset, according to Whelan’s lawyers, the Russkies were intending to use Whelan as part of a prisoner swap to get back their buddy Viktor Bout.

"Whelan’s family was hoping that their son would be part of the Griner-Bout deal, but the Russians aren’t stupid. They knew that Bout could be had for much less. They knew that Joe Biden and his administration badly wanted Griner, who is not only a WNBA star but also a star of “gay rights” and “civil rights” as a black woman “married” to another black woman. LGBTQIA+ activists in the United States couldn’t give a damn about Paul Whelan, who has been in prison much longer than Griner was. You can be sure that they didn’t even know of the Marine’s existence.

"Paul Whelan is not a name, dear liberals, that your kiddies will hear at Drag Queen Story Hour.". . .

How on earth did Sam Brinton get a security clearance?

Don’t Blame Sam Brinton, They Did ItThe disgrace falls squarely on the shoulders of the LGBTQ organizations that propped up a person of such questionable character.". . .
. . .“Brinton should never have been given a platform by national LGBTQ organizations without having crucial details of their story confirmed,” Besen writes. “LGBTQ groups were sloppy, ethically negligent and shockingly unprofessional, choosing expedience over prudence in turning Brinton into a national spokesperson. They were warned but didn’t listen.”
"Maybe they did not listen because bad consequences rarely followed pushing politically convenient yarns in the past."
That same political movement gave us both Sam Britain and Britany Griner while the world laughed. TD

Biden Justice Department's Vanita Gupta admits to targeting pro-lifers as payback for Supreme Court ruling on Roe

Monica Showalter   "The Department of Justice's associate attorney general, Vanita Gupta, the number three offical at that agency, loudly vowed at her confirmation hearing to serve an an impartial, non-partisan official, following revelations of a string of vile tweets directed at Republicans.

"Well, hyuk, hyuk, she fooled 'em good.

"Here she is, the former partisan radical activist, laughing up her sleeve at all those boobs in the Senate who actually believed her when she claimed she would execute her DoJ job as non-partisan, getting the confirmation she needed to assume her post:. .

Chairman of Jan 6 Select (Witch Hunt) Committee Withdraws Subpeona Against Verizon For Mike Lindell’s Phone Records After He Sues Nancy Pelosi

Mike has lost millions fighting for justice regarding our elections, by his count.

He’s not going to let the dishonest Left take him down without a fight.

The Gateway Pundit  *100 Percent Fed Up exclusive – Benny Thompson, chairman of the Jan 6 (Witch Hunt) Committee, has officially withdrawn the subpoena request on behalf of the committee for  Mike Lindell’s phone records after he filed a lawsuit against the unpopular Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.

"We spoke with Mike Lindell, who explained that he sued the “unselect committee” almost immediately after he received their subpoena. “Sorry, but you’re not getting my records,” Mike said, adding, “It’s against the constitution, and I wasn’t even there!” Mike was referring to the Capitol building, which he was nowhere near when it was breached. Fortunately, Mr. Lindell, who is despised by the mainstream media, was being interviewed by the media when the incident occurred. It was a bitterly cold day at the Elipse; Mike headed back to his hotel room after listening to his good friend President Donald Trump speak. But that didn’t stop the “unselect committee,” as Mike calls them, from using his presence in DC as an excuse to go after his phone records". . .Patty McMurray

Bad news for Democrats: They may have to give Sam Bankman-Fried's $40 million in campaign cash back

Monica Showalter  "With Sam Bankman-Fried busted and in a Bahamas hoosegow, we now learn the shady truth about just what the accused fraudster was up to.

"According to charges filed, as reported by CNBC, he took customer money, from customer accounts, and donated it to Democrats.". . .

. . ."It just goes to show that the Democrats have won their elections based on criminal activity, stolen money from unwitting investors, who thought their money was safe in Bankman-Fried's crypto currency exchange. It wasn't. It went to buy Bankman-Fried a lot of adulation and influence, a get-out-of-jail card for his activities until the money ran out. Now the Democrats (and some unsavory Republicans) are on the hook to return the stolen property. Let's hope it defunds them and their corrupt operations good."

Mitt Romney Comes Out Against Hunter Biden Investigation – ‘A Waste of Time’ – Trump Calls Him a ‘Pathetic Joke’

Political Insider  "Senator Mitt Romney is voicing opposition to Republican investigations into Hunter Biden, describing such affairs as a “waste of time.”

"Romney (R-UT) ran to his fellow faux conservatives at The Bulwark to make his position known.

"The outlet, which described the younger Biden, currently identified by federal agents as having enough evidence to charge him with multiple crimes, as little more than a “political bugbear,” notes that Romney is the only GOP lawmaker to break with his party on the matter.

“ 'I think it’s really hard to know what the politics of a course of action might be in this day and age, to know where our party stands, what our base wants, what independent voters want,” Romney said.

“ 'But I think you have to do what you think is right and I think the American people want us to tackle some of the big challenges we have—immigration, inflation, and so forth—and the other things that divert from those priorities I think are a waste of time.' ”. . .

Victimhood Purchases Power

A.F. Branco

Sloan Oliver   "During his victory speech, Senator Raphael Warnock claimed to be a victim of voter suppression.  Let me try to understand, Georgia had record voter turnout, Warnock won the election but claimed that votes were suppressed.  In other words, he’s a victim.  Really?  Someone, anyone, find one legal voter who was unable to vote in Georgia.  You can’t.  So Warnock and Stacey Abrams (she also claimed voter suppression), please, you’re both a bore.

"With Abrams and Warnock in mind, is there anything more insufferable than our privileged, millionaires (and billionaires) complaining about their terrible circumstances in life, about being victims?  Last week, Jennifer Lawrence, of the Hunger Games fame, claimed to be a victim.  Forget that she’s one of the most privileged people in the entire world.  In a Variety interview, she claims to have overcome oppression and that she’s still being oppressed.  Where’s the proof, you ask?  In her statement, “Nobody had ever put a woman in the lead of an action movie.”  Translation: Jennifer thought her acting abilities were being questioned, which means she was being oppressed; she was being victimized.  Not only is Lawrence not a victim, she’s extremely ignorant.  Sigourney Weaver in Aliens (1979), Linda Hamilton (Terminator movies), Angelina Jolie (Tomb Raider – 2001 and 2003), Uma Thurman (Kill Bill – 2003), and Jessica Alba (Fantastic Four – 2005) all quickly come to mind.  Lawrence needs to read history books about centuries past to learn true victims of oppression.". . .

. . ."Last week, Biden exchanged (i.e. released) a Russian arms dealer (known as the “merchant of death”) for an American held by the Ruskies.  He had two exchange choices - Brittney Griner, privileged WNBA player who hates America or Paul Whelan, a Marine who put his life on the line for America.  Both Griner and Whelan were convicted and sentenced to lengthy prison sentences in Russian courts on questionable charges.  Guess which one Biden traded the arms merchant for, the non-privileged Marine who served America or the privileged victim who hates America?  You know the answer."   (Emphasis added; TD)

The Obamas Despise Free Speech, and Show It

Jeannie DeAngelis   "When warning Americans that freedom is in danger if political views that do not agree with theirs are not silenced, both Barack and Michelle Obama love to throw around the term "democracy."  The Obama belief that opposing free speech somehow protects "democracy" proves that neither one understands the basic tenet of what they profess needs protecting.

"In Obama circles, rebuke, rejection, or refutation does not sit well.  These two hypersensitive narcissists thrive on things like public adoration and unswerving agreement.  The Obama brand of egotistical self-importance is so great that deviation from the Obama gospel is oftentimes met with vindictive attempts at public humiliation.

"During his eight years in office, Obama overtly scolded detractors.  The former president fought his battles with a teleprompter and a weaponized federal government at his side.  A short list of some of the opponents Obama publicly targeted included the American

Constitution — i.e., the Second Amendment — the U.S. military, pro-lifers, Christians, and right-leaning Supreme Court judges.  Obama made a sport of reprimanding Tea Party activists as well as conservative news stations and anchors.  Take, for example, his administration's April 2009 opening salvo issued by the DHS, entitled, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," or his malicious act of siccing IRS agents on those he deemed political adversaries.

Then, in 2016, the worst happened: voters overwhelmingly chose a different kind of president. . . ."

AOC's climate change documentary bombs at box office despite leftist pandering (msn.com)

AOC's box office disaster reminds some critics she's a flop in Congress: 'She doesn't do her job'  "Titled To The End, the documentary showcased the life and work of four young women and their attempt to pass significant legislation to address the Earth's changing climate.

"The film managed to rake in a mere $80 per theater, according to a report.

"Professional critics lauded the work, gifting it an 88% "fresh" critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, and leftist media praised it for its call to action.

. . ."However, it seems that all the praise in the world could not force moviegoers to see the film. Debuting at 120 locations, To The End brought in less than $10,000 dollars.". . .

Matt Taibbi, Douglas Murray Dominate Trust-in-Media Debate

National Review

". . .Every adult I knew growing up seemed to be in media,” Taibbi said during his opening remarks to start the debate. “I love the news business. It’s in my bones. But I mourn for it. It’s destroyed itself.”

"Toronto — Conservative commentator Douglas Murray and veteran reporter Matt Taibbi soundly defeated their opponents in a Wednesday evening debate on the question of whether to trust the mainstream media, convincing a significant segment of the audience to abandon their faith in an institution they say is hopelessly compromised by bias.

"The debate, held at Roy Thomson Hall in downtown Toronto and sponsored by the Canadian cultural non-profit Munk Debates, featured Taibbi and Murray squaring off against the tremendously popular non-fiction author Malcolm Gladwell and New York Times opinion columnist Michelle Goldberg, who made the case for continued trust in major American and Canadian outlets.
