Top 10 'War On Christmas' Fails Of All Time

Daily Wire  "We hear the stories every year: the ACLU suing small towns over Nativity displays, "Holiday Tree" lightings, colleges banning religious icons, storefronts wishing us an empty "Happy Holidays," Lena Dunham being Lena Dunham.
"Yet, the moment our ears catch wind of the Left's all-too-apparent "War on Christmas," the mainstream media and their "useful idiots" in late-night comedy are already roasting us on an open fire before any of us can say "partridge in a pear tree." Instead of turtle doves and golden rings, we get gaslights and courtroom subpoenas.
"Clutch not your candy canes, though. If the Puritans couldn't do it, if the French Revolutionaries couldn't do it, if the Nazis couldn't do it, if the Soviets couldn't do it, if CBS couldn't do it, then the party of scrooges will certainly never rid the world of the joy that is "Christmas." So long as we have Christ, Christmas will always follow. In the meantime, however, let's all pull up a chair, sip on some hot cocoa, roast up some chestnuts, and ring in the season with a few laughs over the Left's sorry attempts to transform Christmas into a snowflake's wonderland.
"Here are the Top 10 Best (Worst?) "War on Christmas" Fails Of All Time:
. . . 4.) GAY INTERRACIAL SANTAS
Here's a higher res of @alperryman's original concept art. Really excited to be working with her and everyone at @harperdesignbkspic.twitter.com/JTeqAUP8EG— Kibblesmith (@kibblesmith) March 28, 2017
"According to the Left, Santa can neither be fat nor be a white male, but he can be in a gay relationship with a black husband. Released in October by Harper's Design, the book "Santa's Husband" tells the incredible story of "a black Santa Claus and his white husband who both live in the North Pole."
"Written by Daniel Kibblesmith of the "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," the book was intended to be a parody to mock conservatives.". . .

Robert Francis O’Rourke Spent Virtually All His Campaign Money In Losing Effort

Daily Caller

"He’s a real Democrat.
Post-election Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings released on Thursday reveal that Democratic Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke burned through almost all of the record-breaking $80 million he raised while campaigning to unseat Republican Sen. Ted Cruz.
The Beto For Texas campaign had just over $475,000 remaining of cash on hand in the reporting period ending three weeks after the midterm election, according to FEC records. O’Rourke ended with a staggering $80.3 million raised during the 2018 election cycle, compared to Cruz’s much lower, but still respectable $38.9 million.
O’Rourke received more campaign contributions in one quarter than any Senate candidate in American history. In the 3rd quarter of 2018, the El Paso congressman raised $38.1 million. Comparatively, Cruz raised $12.4 million which placed him as the third highest fundraiser of the 2018 candidates for Senate.

SOURCE: Trump And Advisers Discuss Replacing Pence On 2020 Ticket (And They Have Someone In Mind)

RedState  "It looks as if the 2020 presidential election became a bit more interesting.
While Democrats comb through their entire fleet in an effort to find anyone who may be able to contend with a polarizing, seemingly hard-to-beat incumbent, Republicans are busy making their own personnel decisions.
"According to a new report published in Vanity Fair, President Trump and his advisers have been talking about whether Vice President Mike Pence should stay on as the president’s righthand man.
On Monday, Trump hosted a 2020 strategy meeting with a group of advisers. Among the topics discussed was whether Mike Pence should remain on the ticket, given the hurricane-force political headwinds Trump will face, as demonstrated by the midterms, a source briefed on the session told me. “They’re beginning to think about whether Mike Pence should be running again,” the source said, adding that the advisers presented Trump with new polling that shows Pence doesn’t expand Trump’s coalition. “He doesn’t detract from it, but he doesn’t add anything either,” the source said.
And if so, Trump’s advisers have someone in mind: Nikki Haley." . . .

Speaking of Mike Pence: How The #MeToo Movement, Predictably, Shot Itself In The Foot  . . . "But in the era of #MeToo, where any accusation of sexual impropriety will probably result in your being dismissed from your job with long term unemployment awaiting you, it seems that more and more men are seeing the wisdom of Pence’s rule.
Across Wall Street, men are adopting controversial strategies for the #MeToo era and, in the process, making life even harder for women.
Call it the Pence Effect, after U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, who has said he avoids dining alone with any woman other than his wife. In finance, the overarching impact can be, in essence, gender segregation.

Got your tickets for the Clinton gig yet?

UPDATE:

Thomas Lifson: Pathetic Clintons resort to Groupon trying to get people to show up and fill some seats on their stadium tour  "We now have the first acknowledgment from their side that the Clintons vastly overestimated their personal popularity and the public’s interest in hearing them talk about themselves.
"The Clintons and their stadium tour promoter are officially responding to the public’s refusal to show up in sufficient numbers for them to avoid embarrassment (and financial loss) at the level of ticket prices that seemed realistic when the tour was announced only two months ago. The UK DailyMail noticed this offer on Groupon: . . ."

. . . "I conjecture that the Clintons are afraid of the ridicule that would accompany outright cancellation of the tour. Even worse, it might signal to other Democrats that there is no reason to continue to protect them for the consequences of their misbehavior. If they can’t even pull a crowd, why not cut the party’s losses?
"I suspect that this Groupon offer is a compromise. My theory is that Live Nation is saying to the Clintons that if the discount doesn’t drive a lot more sales, they will pull the plug in the tour.
"Bad as this move looks, it heralds even worse news ahead."

No way out for Clinton, Inc. corruption this time  "The legal dodge used by James Comey to exonerate Hillary Clinton from her prima facie crimes in using an unsecured server for official business won’t be any help to the Clinton Foundation as it faces charges coming from whistleblowers*." . . .
"One can finally hope that the recent whistleblower revelations will tell us that a legal prosecution fuse has finally been lit to embrace the legitimate campaign chant of Trump Nation supporters to “Lock Her Up,”

"Finally one can only hope that Bill and Hillary Clinton may legally have no way out."

*Revealed: Clinton Foundation whistleblowers have been working with FBI and IRS since last year
"The reckoning for the Clintons I have dreamed of for a quarter of a century finally approaches with whistleblowing and documents about the slush fund known as the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.  The ability of the Clintons to blow off charges of criminality will be crippled by the latest evidence revealed to be in the hands of prosecutors.  With the former first couple humiliated by their inability to draw a decent crowd anymore, and plenty of other Democrats anxious to move on and put this embarrassment behind them, it is starting to look as though karma finally is catching up with them.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Kate McKinnon, are you paying attention?

My Title IX Sex Discrimination Complaint

Prof. Mike Adams

"On October 16, I filed a Title IX sex discrimination complaint against administrators at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where I have been teaching for the last twenty-six years. Readers will also recall that it is the same institution I successfully sued on First Amendment grounds back in 2014. The facts leading to the present controversy are briefly recapitulated below.

"Two females, one a student at UNCW, the other an alumna at UNCW, paid a visit to the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) located in Bear Hall on the UNCW campus. The student is a member of a campus Christian club, which also employs the alumnus. Their purpose was to request funding and co-sponsorship from the WRC for an upcoming campus debate on the topic of abortion, which is scheduled to occur on February 21 st in 2019. The debate is between Dr. Willie Parker, a physician who has aborted over 10,000 innocent human beings, and myself." . . .
. . .
"It is worth noting that I am not the only victim of discrimination in this case. Dr. Parker, who happens to be black, is also a victim of discrimination. It is my hope that the university will take the refusal of the WRC to fund his speech on the basis of his gender just as seriously as they would take the refusal to fund his speech on the basis of his race. Either form of discrimination is reprehensible.

"As my readers can see, I had no choice but to file a formal complaint. I would have been content merely to publicly ridicule the WRC for its rank hypocrisy. But the tenor of Dr. Sartarelli’s email suggested I really had no choice but to contact the Title IX office. In other words, I am just trying to be a good employee and abide by the university’s rules.

"Regrettably, over a month after filing the complaint, I have not been advised of the university’s ruling in the case. Thus, I am writing publicly to remind the powers that be that I am not going away quietly.

"The public needs to know whether those in charge of fighting sexism are guilty of promoting it." …  To be continued.

EMBARRASSING: Europeans Realizing Trump Was Right About Iran

Daily Wire
. . . "It must be murder for them to admit it, but suddenly Western European leaders are realizing President Trump was right about ditching the Iran nuclear treaty. On Tuesday, diplomats from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and France expressed their concern because of an Iranian medium-range ballistic missile test on Saturday." . . .
Cartoon added by TD
. . . "Dutch Ambassador Karel van Oosterom added, “This kind of ballistic missile activity is inconsistent with the JCPoA , especially Annex B which calls on Iran not to engage in these kinds of activities.” Even French Ambassador François Delattre avowed the test was "inconsistent" with the resolution, urging Iran to "immediately cease any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be able to carry nuclear weapons, including launches using ballistic missile technology."
"Still, the group displayed its usual pusillanimous attitude when it came to Iran, with the resolution stating it only “calls upon” Iran to stop its ballistic tests instead of demanding a cessation.
"On Tuesday, U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley, in her typically blunt manner, stated that the ballistic test was "dangerous and concerning, but not surprising" adding, “The United States has repeatedly warned the world about Iran’s deliberate efforts to destabilize the Middle East and defy international norms. The international community cannot keep turning a blind eye every time Iran blatantly ignores Security Council resolutions. If the Security Council is serious about holding Iran accountable and enforcing our resolutions, then at a minimum we should be able to deliver a unanimous condemnation of this provocative missile test."
"Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), echoed, “The United States has only begun to reverse the damage done by Obama's Iran nuclear deal, which gave the Ayatollahs the resources and diplomatic breathing room to build more and better ballistic missiles. The last round of sanctions, while important, clearly failed to deter Iran from advancing their missile program. It's time to totally cut off Iran from the global financial system and deny them the resources they're using to threaten us and our allies.”

Teacher fired for refusing to use trans student's pronouns

Good grief!

MSN  "A Virginia high school teacher who refused to use a transgender student's new pronouns has been fired.
"News outlets report that the West Point School Board voted unanimously Thursday to dismiss Peter Vlaming after a four-hour hearing that drew an overflow crowd. The school system said in a statement that Vlaming was fired for insubordination.
"Over the summer, the ninth-grade student's family informed the school system of the student's gender transition to male. The student wasn't involved in Thursday's hearing.
"It's not suggested that the 47-year-old West Point High School French teacher deliberately referred to the student using female pronouns in the student's presence, but in conversations with others.
"Witnesses described a "slip-up" when the student was about to run into a wall and Vlaming told others to stop "her." When discussing the incident with administrators, Vlaming made it clear he would not use male pronouns, a stance that led to his suspension referral for disciplinary action.
" 'I can't think of a worse way to treat a child than what was happening," said West Point High Principal Jonathan Hochman, who testified that he told Vlaming to use male pronouns in accordance with the student's wishes.
"Vlaming told superiors that his Christian faith prevented him from using male pronouns for the student. Vlaming said he had the student in class the year before when the student identified as female." . . .

He Played Handball For Australia's Men's Team. Now Transgender, He's Dominating Women's Handball.  . . . "Last month, for example, the athlete posted a bizarre tweet praising Iran for being inclusive and progressive with regard to transgenderism in comparison to his home country. Of course, gay men in Iran can be murdered if they are found out to be homosexual, so many resort to presenting themselves as the opposite sex as a more acceptable, or frankly less fatal, option.
" 'How good would it be if Australia was as progressive and inclusive as Iran," he wrote." . . .

After DNA test, even Elizabeth Warren's fellow Democrats have got the willies over her

Monica Showalter  "Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is running for president, and she's not quite getting the response she thought she would, even from her fellow leftists.
"Here, the Boston Globe's editorial page recommended that she wise up and not run: "Deval Patrick knew when to call it quits on a presidential bid. Other politicians take note."
"Memo to Liz: That's your establishment.
"Fox News, of course, has fun with the whole thing, but we don't have to count that outlet.
"Seems the fake Indian scandal is sticking to Warren, and pretty much defining her, enough for Democrats to get the willies.  Her DNA test, supposedly to Get Trump on his taunts that she's a fake Indian, were released in a hamfisted time ahead of midterms, and more important for her, revealed that she may be as little as 1,024th Indian, less than the average American.  That's what's going on, and why the Times chose to highlight the issue by quoting Democrat operatives.
"Here's a random tweet that demonstrates the real flavor of what's going on out there, not the prissy Times version:" . . .

Don't go away mad, Joe – just go away

Acting the buffoon at the Ryan VP debate
Richard Jack Rail  "Joe Biden says he's the most qualified person in the country to be president.
"Well, Joe, if it were about paper qualifications, you'd have an argument.  You have an East Coast (if not Ivy League) sheepskin.  You've been in the Senate and warmed the veep's chair.  You've run for president.
"You've been around, no question about that, and for a long time.  A very long time.
"That's what you've done.
"What you have not done is anything worth talking about.  We all admire your dental and hair work, and we're duly impressed with your wife's doctorate in education.  We're not so taken with the way you ran the Anita Hill hearings, your putting your hands all over other men's daughters in public places, your lifting other people's words and not giving attribution, or your being wrong on just about everything in foreign policy and national security for the last four decades.
"Nothing comes to mind that recommends you, Joe, and we don't want another president who needs a teleprompter to tell him what to say, or a line of interns in the wings to take care of his personal qualification.
"You guys on the left, Joe, don't seem to grasp that being president is serious business.  You keep putting up people whose flaws make Richard Nixon look shiny – people whose personal lives have been tawdry, petty, bullying, and ugly.
"People like you, Joe.  Well qualified, but with nothing of substance to recommend them.
"Bow out gracefully.  Go home and enjoy the pretend adulation of family and neighbors.  Retire.  Get out of the spotlight.  If you ever had a chance at the big prize, you blew it long ago."

. . . "Does anyone else think it’s odd that a former U.S. president and a former Secretary of State began a self-promoting tour in Canada? Maybe it’s just me." . . .

Bill and Hillary Clinton should just go quietly  "Like an aging vaudeville duo whose act has grown stale and whose once-adoring audiences have diminished to a nostalgia-driven handful, Bill and Hillary Clinton have taken to the lecture circuit in their obsessive quest for relevancy and, of course, money." . . .
Bill and Hillary Clinton Have Overstayed Their Public Welcome . . . "The talk by the former first couple in Toronto was reported as consisting of rants and raves.
"It was an evening of Trump-bashing and what might have been.
"Just imagine if Election Day in 2016 had seen Donald Trump defeated. Today first gentleman Bill could be tending to the Rose Garden, planning the White House Christmas decorations, redecorating the family quarters, and picking the menus for state dinners. And President Hillary could be breaking glass ceilings and cellphones, and fighting what she once called the “vast right-wing conspiracy.”
"The Clintons’ shtick in their appearances is a walk down memory lane, revenge, jokes only the most ardent Clinton lovers would find funny, fantasy and tag-team banter.
"Juxtapose the Clintons’ speaking tour for profit and President Trump’s free-admission appearances to standing-room audiences and thousands waiting outside in cities all across America.
"Breaking news: The Clintons ain’t what they used to be. They are desperately trying to stay relevant in a nation and a party that have long since moved on." . . .

Developing: Axios, CNN Report Kelly To Resign “In Coming Days”

Axios  "Get ready for a little Christmas-season drama at the White House … or at least in the media. Axios’ Jonathan Swan and Mike Allen offered a bare-bones report on the upcoming departure of chief of staff John Kelly earlier this morning as part of a review of other changes coming. According to their sources, Mike Pence’s chief of staff Nick Ayers will likely get the job instead:" . . .
. . .
"CNN followed up with two sources who also say  Kelly will resign within days as his relationship with Donald Trump has hit an all-time low. “Right now, the president and his chief of staff are not even on speaking terms,” CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reports below:" . . .
