The precinct was known as “the Alamo” because of the dangerous conditions that were turned around under the police efforts. But Brea had tough words for politicians who did not respect the officers in the Bronx neighborhood station.
“Their blood is in the concrete of every street corner, but these politicians don’t want to remember that,” Brea said in remarks at the ceremony sending him off on Friday. “They want to blame and vilify everyone here. I won’t have that. No sir.”
“We have a duty and a responsibility to respect and guide other cops,” he said, adding, “My 46 family, the Alamo, I love you man.”

“ 'In the wake of George Floyd’s death, America faced an unprecedented threat from violent extremists seeking to co-opt the tragedy of his death for illicit purposes,” Wolf said in a letter, obtained by Fox News and dated Thursday.
"“I am writing to ask you to do your part to put an end to violence and illegal activity spreading across our country by ensuring that your platforms are not used as a tool to organize, facilitate, or incite dangerous or deadly riots, in violation of state and local laws,” he said.

Regardless, the media’s refusal to hold Biden to account is yet another failure on their part. It has now been 84 days since Biden answered a question from the press (no, scripted interviews with CNN don’t count). He has no incentive to do anything differently because the press don’t care. They are all rooting for him and if eschewing journalistic principles helps him win office, they are willing to do what it takes.
