An 18-year-old explains why young White men are becoming radicalized

  Andrea Widburg

"In the neighborhood in which my kids grew up, none of the high school–aged boys wanted to date.  The problem was that the high school girls were too difficult.  They were in the early stages of becoming the screaming, woke feminists who were so prominent during the George Floyd rallies.  On Twitter, a girl like that, only now grown up to be a mother and academic, tweeted something generically nasty about the "alt-right" hatefulness of White boys in middle school — and an 18-year-old decided to explain exactly why White boys are embracing non-woke standards."...

. . ."Thought experiment:

Imagine you're an 8th-grade boy. You're beginning to be told by teachers, the media, and maybe your parents that you're privileged because you're a boy. It's a basic truth, you're told.

But this just makes you confused. You start asking yourself questions. If boys are privileged, why do the girls in my class tend to get better grades?

Why are there more girls than boys in my advanced classes?

Why are the girls more well-behaved and focused?

Why are some of the girls preparing for college applications already? By the time you get to high school, your confusion only grows.

Your friend, who used to go to church with you, has become addicted to porn. Another friend, whose parents have recently divorced, has started using drugs.

Your friends start appearing unmotivated and demoralized. Meanwhile, the girls at your school continue to be over-represented in honors classes, get better test scores and grades, obtain more leadership positions, and participate in more extracurriculars.

But you're still repeatedly told that boys are privileged. How could this be? Then, when college acceptances come out, you notice many more girls than boys get into top universities. More girls are going to college in general, for that matter.

Nancy Pelosi disdainfully elbows Rep. Mayra Flores's pinnafore-clad Mexican-American daughter

Monica Showalter

"Democrats for years have been promoting the notion that Republicans are congenitally racist, regulur Bull Connors. It's the old Norman Rockwell painting of a little black girl clad in a white dress, being escorted by lawmen into a desegregating school in Mississippi, with foul racist graffiti and tomato stains on the wall behind her, that serves as their template for Republicans -- despite the fact that the people who opposed desegregation in the Deep South were Democrats.

"The stereotype they pin on Republicans does not stop. It's that of the jewel-bedecked rich lady sniffing up her nose, looking down at, and brushing aside the dreaded hoi polloi who get too close to her. Especially when it's a jewel-bedecked old white rich lady staring down and pushing away brown-faced Mexican-American children as if they have cooties. Can't get cooties.

"It might sound like an old stereotype....

"But then there's Nancy Pelosi, Democrat Speaker of the House, who demonstrated Friday who the racists are.

"The occasion was the congressional swearing in of newly elected Texas Rep. Mayra Flores, who brought her two adorable daughters with her, both wearing little white dresses, the one standing next to Pelosi actually wearing a pinnafore.

"Somehow, Pelosi didn't think they were cute -- not in the least -- the way some white leftists fall all over themselves do, cooing at children of a different skin color.

Pelosi reacted this way:"

And The Biggest Abortion Hypocrite Award Goes To. . .

Powerline  . . ."Start with our doddering president, Slow Joe. The New York Times reminds us:

Mr. Biden entered the Senate in 1973 as a 30-year-old practicing Catholic who soon concluded that the Supreme Court went “too far” on abortion rights in the Roe case. He told an interviewer the following year that a woman shouldn’t have the “sole right to say what should happen to her body.”...

'Morally bankrupt': Biden 'humiliated' by Saudi Arabia and oil companies

Biden morally bankrupt  "US President Joe Biden has been criticized as "morally bankrupt" and "weak" in regard to his energy policy after it was revealed he is planning to visit Saudi Arabia to discuss the global oil crisis."

"President Biden wrote to the major oil companies last week, urging them to ramp up supply as gas topped five dollars a gallon in America.

"President Biden's letter on Tuesday was sent to seven oil companies: Marathon Petroleum, Valero Energy, ExxonMobil, Phillips 66, Chevron, BP, and Shell.

"The president said it's "unacceptable" that oil companies are making record profits during "a time of war.". . .

Children Kicked Out of Exclusive School After Parents Question Gender-Identity Curriculum

“We were worried about raising our kids long term in an area that was embracing these destructive ideologies.”

"This is so outrageous. The parents and children are better off being away from this madhouse.

"Leighton Woodhouse writes at Substack:

They Questioned Gender-Affirming Care. Then Their Kids Were Kicked Out of School.

On May 25, Paul and Rebeka Sinclair pulled their minivan over to the side of the road, just north of Lake Tahoe, and logged onto a Zoom with Katherine Dinh, the head of the Marin Country Day School.

“Today was the last day of school for your children, Charlotte and Carter,” Dinh informed the couple. The Sinclairs—she’s 37; he’s 51—had been driving home from a vacation to celebrate their anniversary. Dinh appeared to be reading a script. Two MCDS board members joined her on the call but stayed quiet. “Please do not contact any other school employees, particularly Charlotte and Carter’s teachers, as your reaching out to them will cause them further stress,” Dinh continued. “The two of you are not to be on campus again.”

It was the closing act of a year-long drama between the Sinclairs and MCDS, which charges $40,000 per student per year and had been teaching first and second graders about “deconstructing the gender binary”—the idea that there’s no such thing as girls or boys, just a spectrum of relative girlness and boyness.

The Sinclairs weren’t the only parents who had protested the new gender-identity curriculum—most families in their daughter’s class were upset and had been talking about it among themselves. But the Sinclairs had been unwilling to stay quiet. As a result, administrators had suggested that they were homophobic and accused them of tarnishing MCDS’s reputation. (An MCDS attorney had accused the Sinclairs of “defamation” for accusing MCDS of “predatory ‘grooming’ of children.” The Sinclairs never made that accusation.) Friends had stopped replying to their texts. Teachers said they felt unsafe around them. When word got out about why Charlotte, 8, and Carter, 5, had been kicked out, the Sinclairs had to decide whether they could stay in the Bay Area.. . .

‘The Hell With the SCOTUS’: Maxine Waters Says Pro-Aborts Will ‘Fight in the Streets’ After Abortion Ruling

 Legal Insurrection

"As expected, pro-abortion Democrats went absolutely bonkers Friday in the aftermath of the anticipated decision from the Supreme Court where a majority ruled that the 1973 landmark Roe v. Wade ruling be overturned.

"Among those melting down were members of the mainstream media and radical leftists like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), the latter of whom declared the Supreme Court “illegitimate” and encouraged people to get “into the streets” while refusing to condemn calls for violence that were coming from outraged pro-abortion groups.

"Not surprisingly, Rep. Maxine “Mad Maxine” Waters (D-Calif.) also got in on the action, proclaiming her disgust with Friday’s announcement while urging people to “fight in the streets”:. . ."

In spite of this amendment:

14th Amendment of our constitution? Section 3.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

We Are Witnessing What Happens When Unrestrained Youth Gets Power

  Vince Coyner

...This is nowhere better demonstrated than by the legions of rioters who participated in the “peaceful protests” of 2020 who found their charges dropped or their bails funded by the glitterati.

"From Madison reading Cato and Cicero when framing the Constitution to the outsized impact both Rome and America had on the world around them, the United States has long been associated with historical Rome. There are great similarities, and there can be much to learn—and what’s happening now does not reflect well on either historical Rome or America.

"When most of us think of the worst emperors in Roman history we think of names like Commodus, Nero, Caligula, and Elagabalus. To a man they were vain, self-centered, bloodthirsty hedonists who took what they wanted and tortured and killed many thousands of Romans and provincials.

"All emperors, including the great ones like Augustus, Trajan, and Aurelian had blood on their hands to one degree or another but most tried to maintain or grow the empire. Commodus et al didn’t. Their goal was to satiate their lusts, whether literal lust or gluttony or, sadly, bloodlust. While there were other bad emperors, these four are among the worst.

"What makes this relevant today is the fact that all four of these “men” were spoiled, pampered, entitled sadists who were given free rein when they were still essentially children. Commodus was the oldest at 19, while Nero was 17, and both Elagabalus and Caligula were 16.

"They were overindulged brats who never faced consequences for their behavior. They were given virtually anything they wanted or, just as often, allowed to take what they wanted with impunity. And at those ripe young ages, and with that upbringing, they were literally given the keys to the kingdom and unleashed on the Empire—and virtually everyone in it suffered as a result.

"Every day in America we see modern-day Commoduses or Caligulas wreaking havoc on our streets and in our stores, restaurants, schools, and more. Instead of a single entitled Emperor, America in 2022 is being ravaged by a generation of young men—many of whom have grown up fatherless—who have been told that they can do and say anything they want and that, regardless of what they do, there will be no consequences for them.". . .

Iranian Revolutionary Guards Try Again To Provoke US Navy Ship…

They did this to Obama and now to Biden.

Weasel Zippers

"A US Navy warship fired a warning flare to wave off an Iranian Revolutionary Guard speedboat coming straight at it during a tense encounter in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, officials said Tuesday.

"The incident on Monday involving the Guard and the Navy comes as tensions remain high over stalled negotiations over Iran’s tattered nuclear deal with world powers and as Tehran enriches uranium closer than ever to weapons-grade levels under decreasing international oversight.

"Meanwhile, the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog said Iran now plans to enrich uranium through a second set of advanced centrifuges at its underground Fordo facility amid the standoff.

"The Cyclone-class patrol ship USS Sirocco and Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport USNS Choctaw County found themselves in the close encounter with three Iranian fast boats while coming through the Strait of Hormuz to enter the Persian Gulf, the Navy said.". . .

Obama Tried to Warn Us: ‘Don’t Underestimate Joe’s Ability to F— Things Up’

 Free Beacon

Former POTUS urged Biden not to run, was concerned he would 'embarrass himself'

"Generally speaking, Obama's political judgment is terrible. He thought Hillary was a formidable candidate in 2016. (She wasn't.) In 2020, he was reportedly "enamored" with former representative Beto O'Rourke (D., Texas), who dropped out of the race three months before the Iowa caucuses. But he was right about Joe Biden."

"Former president Barack Obama is a pathological narcissist who only cares about hanging out with celebrities and being extravagantly wealthy, regardless of the death and destruction it causes. Nevertheless, he tried to stop Joe Biden from becoming president and made an effort to warn us about his dangerous incompetence.

"Don't underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up," Obama told a fellow Democrat during the 2020 presidential primary. The former president disparaged his running mate again during a conversation with a Democratic candidate: "And you know who really doesn't have it?" Obama said. "Joe Biden."

"Before that, Obama did his best to persuade Biden not to run. "You don't have to do this, Joe, you really don’t," he reportedly told Biden in 2019. According to journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, authors of Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency, Obama "worried that his former vice president would embarrass himself on the campaign trail and that the people around him would not be able to prevent a belly-flop."

"Obama had urged Biden not to run for president in 2016 and told an adviser that he didn't think Biden was a viable candidate. "It had stung Biden badly in 2015 when Obama made clear his preference for Hillary Clinton," Allen and Parnes wrote. "Adding insult to injury, Obama's advisers told Biden aides back then that they didn't think he could beat Clinton. They pressured him to get out of the way."

"Though he ultimately decided not to challenge Clinton in 2016, Biden ignored Obama's advice by jumping into the 2020 primary. The rest is history.

"After Biden launched his campaign, Obama declined to offer even a token level of support for his former vice president. . . ."

Roe v. Wade overturned: Separating fact from fiction

Washington Examiner  "June 24, 2022, will go down in history as a monumental victory for our constitutional right to life by delivering one of the most consequential rulings in the history of the Supreme Court of the United States. I celebrate the overturning of Roe v. Wade alongside the rest of the pro-life movement and look forward to continuing to fight for life at the state level.

"Last month, we witnessed a preview of the intensely divided reaction to this decision after the draft opinion was leaked, but the public response to the official opinion from both sides has been unsurprisingly more fervent. And we’re about to see even greater hysteria ramp us as abortion rights activists turn their efforts toward pressuring individual states to pass radical pro-abortion legislation.

"So before the hysteria reaches maximum intensity, it’s critical that we set some facts straight and debunk the alarming falsehoods that liberals are perpetuating about what overturning Roe means. There are a few prevalent myths I’d like to address in particular:. . ."

Politicians on Bicycles, Ranked

Free Beacon  "President Joe Biden, 79, humiliated himself and his country over the weekend by falling off his bicycle in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Some pundits argued the fall, which took place on Father's Day Eve, was an act of karmic justice related to Biden's continued refusal to acknowledge the existence of his seventh grandchild, identified in Arkansas court documents as "NJR" and determined with "scientific certainty" to have been fathered by Hunter Biden, the president's crackhead son. Hunter claims to have "no recollection" of having a relationship with the child's mother, a stripper formerly known as "Dallas."

"The incident prompted the following Washington Free Beacon analysis of politicians riding bicycles. It goes without saying that no one should ever ride a bicycle, but it's still possible to look relatively cool with doing it. The "hall of fame" section includes some of the best examples of politicians on bicycles, while the significantly larger "hall of shame" section features some of the absolute worst. Enjoy!"  See the best and worst of biking politicians

WFB Exclusive: Biden's Bicycle Speaks Out

. . ."The same cannot be said about Joe Biden, which is why I felt compelled to take the action I did. The president and his "doctor" wife (don't get me started) continue to deny the existence of "NJR," determined as they are to punish her for the crime of being born to a "nasty woman." The first few times Joe claimed to have only six grandchildren instead of seven, one could reasonably write it off as a honest mistake given the old man's rapidly deteriorating brain. But when the Bidens hung just six children's stockings above the White House fireplace this past Christmas, I was forced to confront the sinister truth.

The First Good Week of Biden’s Presidency; Two obnoxious libs fired for reckless behavior

Free Beacon

"It's been another eventful week in President Joe Biden's America. The stock market plunged 5 percent as inflation soared to new highs and recession fears continued to mount. The number of COVID-19 deaths on Biden's watch surpassed 600,000 while his approval rating fell below 40 percent. That's not great!

"Nevertheless, it was still a relatively good week in the context of Biden's failed presidency. Two of the most obnoxious Ivy League libs in American history—Chesa Boudin and Felicia Sonmez—were fired for reckless behavior. For a demoralized country in need of some good news, it is reason enough to rejoice.

"On Tuesday, a diverse coalition of San Francisco residents voted to recall Boudin, the city's radical left-wing district attorney, by a decisive margin of nearly 20 percentage points. Boudin, the son of domestic terrorists and a former intern for Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, had pursued a controversial pro-criminal policy agenda since his election in 2019. Voters were understandably turned off by the Yale Law graduate's smug condescension in the face of public outrage as theft and property crime surged, and Boudin's refusal to prosecute serial offenders had deadly consequences. Good riddance to Marxist rubbish.

"On Thursday, the Washington Post finally fired Felicia Sonmez, the so-called reporter who had spent the past week berating her colleagues and employer on social media. The obnoxious Harvard graduate's termination letter explained that she was being fired "for misconduct that includes insubordination, maligning your co-workers online and violating The Post’s standards on workplace collegiality and inclusivity." Sonmez, who unsuccessfully sued the Post and several of its leading editors in 2021, instigated a week's worth of petty drama by complaining about her colleague Dave Weigel's retweet of a stupid joke. Weigel, who was suspended without pay for 30 days, is almost certain to be named a Washington Free Beacon Man of the Year for his role in the embarrassing saga.". . .
