Devils In Skirts And Ladies From Hell

 Key Military

"According to legend, the Scottish soldiers of the British Army were called ‘Devils in Skirts’ or ‘Ladies from Hell’ by their German foe. Rob Schäfer looks at the origin of that legend and sorts fact from fiction."

Rebecca Downs  "Joe Biden's team realizes he needs those critical Rust Belt states like Michigan and Wisconsin and is trying to appeal to them with visits over the past few days.

"I wrote earlier about the campaign event he did in Michigan on Thursday where he wanted to take questions but then his staff swept in to shut that down in a troubling video showing that he's not in charge. The staff also tried to make it tough for the media to hear what Biden was saying at his stop. Maybe because Biden appeared to be suffering from a lot of confusion.

"He also went to Wisconsin on Wednesday to try to convince people that his "investments are rebuilding our communities" as his White House public schedule claims. That's a cruel joke since his "investments" [translate: spending] has contributed to the inflation that we are all suffering from.

"But Biden tell people not to believe the evidence of their own eyes. We all know how high that inflation has been under Joe Biden. Under him, it went up to 9.1 percent. Now it's lower than it was at its highest point under him, but it's still higher than when he came in, when it was 1.4 percent.

"But listen as Biden, struggling with the teleprompter again and squinting up a storm, tells us, “We have among the lowest inflation rates of any country in America!"

The art of terror created by Hamas and US Democrats

Is there no end to those who bring nothing but death and terror to the Jewish people? TD

As in Nazi persecution, one pictures this scene greeting Hamas raiders as they opened doors of Israeli 'safe rooms" in the villages around Gaza. This could have been a scene shown in the Hamas videos that were watched and cheered by the Gazans. TD

‘It’s important to me to show what happened’: the [leftist] Israeli artist drawing the traumatic events of 7 October (theartnewspaper.com)   . . ."The first morning [of the Israel-Hamas conflict] I was like, OK don’t worry, nothing serious is happening. But then when I saw the terrorists coming I was like, oh my god. I had friends from Russia staying in my house. They were supposed to go back the same day. We woke up because of an alarm, but in Tel Aviv it’s pretty normal. And then they told us there are terrorists coming from house to house and I thought: this cannot be. I couldn’t believe such a thing could happen—that terrorists were walking free without any interruption for so many hours. At first you think it cannot be, and then you realise what is happening is worse than you can imagine." . . .

. . ."To those who recognise and condemn the brutalities of 7 October but are calling for a ceasefire—an immediate end to the loss of civilian life in Gaza—what do you say?
"I don’t know. I’m too confused right now. Whatever will bring our hostages back as soon as possible. I’m only sure that there must be a two-state solution in the end. This is the only way.
"What is your hope for the future of Israel and Palestine?
"I hope that Hamas will go down and I hope that there will be a Palestinian state along the limits [drawn in] 1967. I hope that this crazy, extreme right-wing government will be replaced by someone more normal. But this is my hope, and my fear is that everything will be even more political than it is now because people are so angry. And there are so many dead in Israel and Gaza—usually when this happens it’s a chance for more radical groups to take over. I’m afraid that’s more realistic than ever." . . .

Biden Admin, Like Obama Before It, Has Found An Enemy It’s Willing To Fight: Not Hamas, But Bibi Netanyahu

. . ."If Israel and Bibi gave in to this HATEFUL administration’s demands, they would forfeit this inhumane war that Hamas started on that fateful day that its’ citizens were murdered, raped, dehumanized and kidnapped. This was the lowest and most disgraceful attack of any war on planet Earth. Those vicious COWARDS not only deserve death but don’t belong in the human race.  Bibi wasn’t mincing words when he said that this war is for the survival of the country of Israel and anyone who doubts this is not only a complete fool, but hopelessly evil minded." Comment to this post.  May Israel and YHWH forgive this nation. TD

The attacks on Netanyahu are escalating from the White House: Biden says capturing Hamas’ last stronghold in Rafah is “a red line” while Harris says: “It’s important to distinguish and to not conflate the Israeli government with the Israeli people.”

"It's been reported for more than a week that the United States is actively seeking to enact regime change in Israel. The most recent effort sought to destroy the coalition that elected Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister by actively supporting Netanyahu's rival Benny Gantz's opposition party, and that looks to have failed pretty hard. When that plot was made public, Netanyahu's government hit back with a stern statement saying they expect their friends (the United States) to focus on overthrowing Hamas, not the Israeli government, and that only the Israeli citizens have a say in who is Prime Minister, through elections.

"Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) took that to mean that the United States should now advocate for new elections in Israel, to give Netanyahu the boot, and argued that on the floor of the Senate Thursday." . . .
Could Schumer’s broadside against Bibi have the Trump Effect of backfiring on him? - American Thinker   . . ."Add to that the little matter of not kicking an ally when he’s down.
"The last thing in the world any country needs when it is at war, and surrounded on all sides — literally, geographically — by the enemy, is to have a United States senator, much less this guy, call for yet more disruption, more chaos, when you have all you can do to simply keep your people alive.

"Chuck Schumer is only the “most prominent” Jewish voice in the Senate, representing the largest population of Jews outside of Israel anywhere on earth, so when he opines on all matters Israel, it matters."  Foreign policy ace Kamala Harris is back in the saddle, explaining to all us rube voters what Gaza is all about.

Your Democrat party supports these people, Chuck!

Police have privately shown journalists a single horrific testimony that they filmed of a woman who was at the Nova festival site during the attack. She describes seeing Hamas fighters gang rape a woman and mutilate her, before the last of her attackers shot her in the head as he continued to rape her.

At the Jewish Museum, gut-wrenching drawings depict the terror of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel - New York Jewish Week (jta.org)

"A family of ashen, burned bodies sit around their kitchen table, their expressions frozen in terror — hands pressed against gaping mouths, silently screaming. An elderly couple, hands bound in rope behind their backs, embraces as blood pools around them and flames lick at their feet. A mother grips her son close to her chest as she looks over a pile of dead bodies.

"These horrifying scenes are part of “7 October 2023,” a new exhibit of 12 drawings created by Israeli artist Zoya Cherkassky in response to the Hamas attacks on that day. The colorful but violent and gut-wrenching works, which are now on view at the Jewish Museum on the Upper East Side, are inspired in part by Pablo Picasso’s renowned “Guernica,” which he painted to show the world the violence and inhumanity during the Spanish Civil War.

“ 'Museums exist to be custodians of world cultural heritage, and this kind of savagery and barbarism is the antithesis of that,” James Snyder, who took over as the new director of the Jewish Museum last month, told the New York Jewish Week. “We need to speak out against them and we need to do what we can to educate and engage.' ” . . .

Judge Splits the Baby in Ruling on Fani Willis Disqualification

BREAKING: Judge Rules Fani Willis Can Continue Trump Prosecution—But There's a Catch – PJ Media  . . ."McAfee ruled that Willis can continue to prosecute the former president and his co-defendants, but he has given the state multiple options to handle the case. All options involve Nathan Wade stepping away from the team.

“The prosecution of this case cannot proceed until the State selects one of two options,” McAfee wrote in his decision. “The District Attorney may choose to step aside, along with the whole of her office, and refer the prosecution to the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council for reassignment... Alternatively, (Special Assistant District Attorney) Wade can withdraw, allowing the District Attorney, the Defendants, and the public to move forward without his presence or remuneration distracting from and potentially compromising the merits of this case.”

"Willis campaigned as an anti-corruption candidate in 2020 because accusations of sexual and financial wrongdoing surrounded her predecessor, Paul Howard. She declared to an interviewer that the people of Fulton County “deserve a DA that won't have sex with his employees [and] won't put money in their own pocket.” . . .

Georgia DA Fani Willis can remain on Trump election fraud case, judge rules (nypost.com)  "District Attorney Fani Willis can stay on and prosecute the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants for allegedly trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election — if special prosecutor Nathan Wade steps aside, a judge ruled Friday.

"Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee issued the decision after deliberating for two weeks following testimony from Willis, Wade and others close to them.

"In the decision, he noted that the defense had produced evidence of “a significant appearance of impropriety that infects the current structure of the prosecution team.” . . .

U.S.-Israel Relations Are Teetering and Biden Is to Blame. How can Democrats not be affected by the following account?

 Opinion (msn.com)

Senator Schumer, we beg you to read the excerpted account below! If these words do not make you clench your fists, you would have to be devoid of all humanity. The Tunnel Dweller

Hot DAMN! 'Cocaine Mitch' McConnell Is BACK, LIGHTS Chuck Schumer UP for Calling for New Israel Elections – Twitchy

And US liberals fault Netanyahu for being angry over this?  Israel Gaza: Hamas raped and mutilated women on 7 October, BBC hearsWARNING: CONTAINS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND RAPE.    "Several people involved in collecting and identifying the bodies of those killed in the attack told us they had seen multiple signs of sexual assault, including broken pelvises, bruises, cuts and tears, and that the victims ranged from children and teenagers to pensioners.

Video testimony of an eyewitness at the Nova music festival, shown to journalists by Israeli police, detailed the gang rape, mutilation and execution of one victim.

Videos of naked and bloodied women filmed by Hamas on the day of the attack, and photographs of bodies taken at the sites afterwards, suggest that women were sexually targeted by their attackers.

Few victims are thought to have survived to tell their own stories.

"Their last moments are being pieced together from survivors, body-collectors, morgue staff and footage from the attack sites." . . .

Police have privately shown journalists a single horrific testimony that they filmed of a woman who was at the Nova festival site during the attack. She describes seeing Hamas fighters gang rape a woman and mutilate her, before the last of her attackers shot her in the head as he continued to rape her.

Israel's Women's Empowerment Minister, May Golan, told the BBC that a few victims of rape or sexual assault had survived the attacks, and that they were all currently receiving psychiatric treatment.

Videos filmed by Hamas include footage of one woman, handcuffed and taken hostage with cuts to her arms and a large patch of blood staining the seat of her trousers.

. . ."She goes on to detail how the men cut off parts of the victim's body during the
assault.  "They sliced her breast and threw it on the street," she says. "They were playing with it."  The victim was passed to another man in uniform, she continues.  "He penetrated her, and shot her in the head before he finished. He didn't even pick up his pants; he shoots and ejaculates."  One man we spoke to from the festival site said he heard the "noises and screams of people being murdered, raped, decapitated". To our question about how he could be sure - without seeing it - that the screams he heard indicated sexual assault rather than other kinds of violence, he said he believed while listening at the time that it could only have been rape.  A statement he made through a support organisation describes it as "inhuman".

"Eighteen young men and women have been hospitalised in mental health hospitals because they could no longer function," he said. Others are reportedly suicidal. One of those working with the teams around survivors told the BBC that some had already killed themselves.

And members of the US left, including congressional Democrats have expressed no problems with what their people have done and continue to do! TD

Media Gaslight The Public About The Disastrous Biden Transcripts

  Issues & Insights (issuesinsights.com)

"Gaslighting is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves. They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even their sanity. Over time, a gaslighter’s manipulations can grow more complex and potent, making it increasingly difficult for the victim to see the truth."

"Soon after the transcripts of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with President Joe Biden were released, the mainstream press — as though handed talking points by the White House — said they weren’t nearly as bad as Hur had made them out to seem in his report.

“Paints a nuanced portrait,” says the Washington Post. “Transcript shows nuance,” says The Hill. “The interview transcript is more complicated,” says AP. “Shows memory lapses, but also detailed exchanges,” says NBC News.

"CBS News even dismissed evidence of dementia — “Biden appears to be reaching for words he cannot find. Twice, the phrase ‘fax machine’ eludes him, and he confuses Iraq and Afghanistan for Iran” — by saying that such “missteps appear to be common lapses for Mr. Biden who for years has struggled with names and dates in public speaking engagements.”

"So, you see, no problem here.

"But read the transcript yourself. It’s not “complicated,” or “nuanced.” As we suspected, it provides the perfect context for Hur’s contention that Biden is an old man with memory problems.

"For example, we counted 37 instances where Biden says “I don’t remember” during his interviews with Hur, and 26 times when he says “I don’t recall.” That’s a lot of nuance.

"The transcript also shows that Biden flat-out lied to the public about Hur bringing up Beau’s death, or that Hur asked him when he died. What actually transpired should be deeply troubling to anyone who cares about the nation." . . .

Judge DISMISSES three charges against Trump in Georgia election interference case as pressure grows on Fani Willis

  Daily Mail Online

FANIS WILLIS Political Cartoon added by TD

"The ruling comes as DA Fani Willis awaits a separate decision over whether she is disqualified from the case after revelations about her affair with prosecutor

  • The dropped charges relate to alleged solicitation of oaths of office
  • Judge McAfee has said he'll decide this week whether to disqualify Willis

"Former President Donald Trump has had three charges in his Georgia election case thrown out by the judge considering whether to disqualify Fani Willis.

"Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee wrote Wednesday in an order that six of the charges in the indictment must be quashed, including three against Trump.

"But the order leaves intact many other charges in the indictment and the judge wrote that prosecutors could seek a new indictment on the charges he dismissed.

"The six charges in question have to do with allegedly soliciting elected officials to violate their oaths of office. That includes two charges related to Trump's infamous phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a fellow Republican, on Jan. 2, 2021 asking him to 'find' 11,780 votes.

"The surprise ruling comes at a time when McAfee faces a self-imposed deadline of this week to rule on whether to disqualify Willis from the case following bombshell revelations about her affair with special prosecutor Nathan Wade." . . .

The corruption runs rampant in Congress...

Election Interference: Chuck Schumer Demands New Vote in Israel to Oust Netanyahu; Joel B. Pollak

. . ."Democrats have resented Netanyahu ever since he publicly opposed President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran, which gave billions of dollars to the Iranian regime for its terror activities and would have allowed Iran to emerge as a nuclear power after roughly a decade even if it complied fully with the terms of the deal. Netanyahu has also opposed President Joe Biden’s proposal to establish a Palestinian state as the outcome of the current war, which was started by Hamas terrorists. Netanyahu has also pushed back against Biden’s warnings not to attack Hamas in the town of Rafah." . . .

Poll: Netanyahu Tops Rivals as Biden Pressure Campaign Fails (breitbart.com)

Schumer pumps his little Democrat fists

Schumer Wants Netanyahu Ousted, Calls for New Elections in Israel – PJ Media  "I’m old enough to remember when Democrats expressed outrage over foreign countries allegedly trying to interfere with U.S. elections. But like everything else, foreign election interference is okay if they do it.
On Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) called on Israel to hold new elections because he believes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has “lost his way.”

Sounding more like a pro-Palestinian protester than the highest-ranking Jewish elected official in the United States, Schumer has become increasingly critical of Israel’s efforts to eradicate Hamas and will condemn Netanyahu in a speech on the Senate floor Thursday.

In prepared remarks obtained by The Associated Press, Schumer says the prime minister has put himself in a coalition of far-right extremists and “as a result, he has been too willing to tolerate the civilian toll in Gaza, which is pushing support for Israel worldwide to historic lows.”

“Israel cannot survive if it becomes a pariah,” Schumer will say.

The speech comes as an increasing number of Democrats have pushed back against Israel and as President Joe Biden has stepped up public pressure on Netanyahu's government, warning that he needs to pay more attention to the civilian death toll in Gaza. The U.S. this month began airdrops of badly needed humanitarian aid and announced it will establish a temporary pier to get more assistance into Gaza via sea.

This move comes despite his Jewish roots and his past public support of Israel in the wake of the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas. In November, Schumer admitted that the rise in antisemitism in America after October 7 was coming from the political left." . . .

Biden was not - repeat NOT - exonerated

The more I see Congressional Democrats defending themselves, the more depressed I get over the integrity of the people we place in power. TD

Hur insists that he 'did not exonerate' Biden, repeatedly shuts down Democrat characterizations | Fox News  . . ."Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., also said Hur "exonerated him."

"But Hur pushed back."

"I did not exonerate him," Hur told Jayapal. "That word does not appear in my report."

When questioned about Nadler and Raskin’s characterizations of his report as an "exoneration," Hur fired back again.

"That is not what my report does," Hur testified." . . .

Five key takeaways from the House hearing on Robert Hur’s Biden report | Joe Biden | The Guardian  . . . “You cannot tell me you’re so naive as to think your words would not have created a political firestorm,” said the Democratic congressman Adam Schiff of California. “You were not born yesterday. You understood exactly what you were doing.”

"Hur rejected that characterization, telling Schiff: “Politics played no part whatsoever in my investigative steps.”

"And yet, when Hur was directly asked whether he would rule out taking a position in the Trump administration if the former president wins the election in November, the special counsel would not do so.

“I’m not here to speak about what may or may not happen in the future,” Hur said." . . .

Here Are the Most Embarrassing Moments for Democrats During Hur’s Testimony – PJ Media   . . ."“I need to go back and make sure that I take note of a word that you used, ‘exoneration,’” Hur said in response. “That is not a word that is used in my report and that is not a part of my task as a prosecutor.”

" 'You exonerated him,” Jayapal insisted.

“I did not exonerate him,” Hur explained. "That word does not appear in the report."

An embarrassed Jayapal then cut him off and insisted it was “her time."

Hur corrects House Democrat: ‘I did not exonerate’ Joe Biden - Washington Examiner   . . ."Jayapal observed that in Hur’s report, the special counsel wrote that “no criminal charges are warranted in this matter.”

“So this lengthy, expensive, and independent investigation resulted in a complete exoneration,” Jayapal said, before diving into a question about specific statutes governing classified material.

" Hur took issue with Jayapal’s comment, asserting that he did not clear Biden’s name of all wrongdoing in the manner she had suggested.

“I need to go back and make sure that I take note of a word that you used, ‘exoneration.’ That is not a word that was used in the report, and that’s not part of my task as a prosecutor,” Hur said.

"Jayapal interjected, “You exonerated him.”

“I did not exonerate him,” Hur shot back. “That word does not appear in the report.” . . .

Do Only Suckers Buy EVs?

  Issues & Insights (issuesinsights.com)

"The latest evidence that electric vehicles are nothing more than environmental snake oil can be found in a recent Wall Street Journal article pointing out that these “clean” cars are actually more polluting than their gasoline-powered brethren.

"By polluting, we mean actual pollution, not carbon dioxide emissions – which is not pollution but plant food.

"The Journal was highlighting a study from 2022 that, naturally, was ignored by the mainstream press at the time. What the study found was that “brakes and tires on EVs release 1,850 times more particle pollution compared to modern tailpipes.”

"Why? Because EVs are as much as 30% heavier than gas-powered cars, which means more stress on their “regenerative” brakes and much faster tire wear.

"Car buyers expect their tires to last 40,000 miles. But EV owners are finding that they last only 13,000 miles. Not only does that significantly increase the cost of ownership of an EV, but it also adds to air pollution.

"That’s because tire wear, in case you didn’t know, is a major source of “fine particulate matter” – often called soot – which the Environmental Protection Agency, in case you didn’t know, considers “one of the most dangerous forms of air pollution and it’s linked to a range of serious and potentially deadly illnesses, including asthma and heart attacks.”

"In fact, just days before the Wall Street Journal published that op-ed, the EPA announced new rules that sharply reduce acceptable levels of this form of pollution.

"So, here we have President Joe Biden’s EPA clamping down on allowable levels of soot while the same EPA is trying to force drivers into soot-producing EVs.

"Michael Buschbacher and Taylor Myers, writing in the Journal, point out that environmentalists are lying to the public about this while pushing for bans on gas-powered cars." . . .

The Temporary Pier and the Question of Why

"This example, in fact, proves what we have been saying about Hamas and the people of Gaza for decades: these people are impoverished because it serves their masters’ purpose to have them starve."

The Temporary Pier and the Question of Why - John F. Di Leo   . . ."But ever since Hamas’s horrific attacks on Israel on October 7 that started this long-needed police action, the global anti-Israel lobby has declared that they need another way to bring in humanitarian aid – one outside Egypt.  They need a seaport, they tell us, to bring in aid directly from the Mediterranean.
"Why?
"The answer is obvious.  The terrorists of Hamas and their fellow travelers have allies in Cyprus, Turkey, Greece, Iran, and the United Nations.  Anyone else who might ship cargo to Gaza would – intentionally – have weaker security checkpoints than Egypt has.
"There’s a reason, after all, why Israel hasn’t been allowing relief vessels to serve Gaza, and it dates back to long before October 7.  Israel has frequently caught weapons caches being smuggled into Gaza by sea in the past – always under the guise of humanitarian aid.

This isn’t Israel being mean or suspicious; this is Israel learning from experience, and acknowledging reality.

"If the West wants to get food, medicine, and beverages into Gaza, all they have to do is send it to Rafah, and Egypt will make sure it gets there.

"But Hamas doesn’t want Western food, medicine and beverages.  Hamas wants weapons." ...

A Pier for Gaza - Gerald McGlothlin   . . ."In conclusion, while the humanitarian crisis in Gaza undoubtedly requires attention and aid, the juxtaposition of the Biden administration's efforts in Gaza with its approach to domestic border security illuminates a contentious debate over policy priorities, on that any objective observer would conclude: that Biden loses."

Biden’s ‘Trojan Pier’ for Gaza | Frontpage Mag    "Six Americans are still being held hostage by Hamas, and Biden has sent no troops to help them, but at the State of the Union address, he promised to send troops to build a pier for Gaza.

"The estimated over 1,000 troops will spend as long as 2 months laboring to build a floating pier in a war zone under potential attack to help transfer aid to the Hamas supporters living in Gaza.

"Nothing about this plan makes sense.

"The media has taken to falsely claiming that the Arab Muslims occupying parts of Gaza are starving. Vice President Kamala Harris attacked Israel, claiming that she had “seen reports of families eating leaves or animal feed.” Social media videos however show the locals gorging themselves on shawarma and other foods in preparation for the Islamic period of Ramadan.

"But if the Biden administration really believed that Gazans were starving right now, what would be the purpose of spending two months building a pier to deliver aid? A program with a two month lead time will not help people who are starving right now. It would be a grim joke.

"And the pier plan only gets stranger from there." . . .
