Biden was not - repeat NOT - exonerated

The more I see Congressional Democrats defending themselves, the more depressed I get over the integrity of the people we place in power. TD

Hur insists that he 'did not exonerate' Biden, repeatedly shuts down Democrat characterizations | Fox News  . . ."Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., also said Hur "exonerated him."

"But Hur pushed back."

"I did not exonerate him," Hur told Jayapal. "That word does not appear in my report."

When questioned about Nadler and Raskin’s characterizations of his report as an "exoneration," Hur fired back again.

"That is not what my report does," Hur testified." . . .

Five key takeaways from the House hearing on Robert Hur’s Biden report | Joe Biden | The Guardian  . . . “You cannot tell me you’re so naive as to think your words would not have created a political firestorm,” said the Democratic congressman Adam Schiff of California. “You were not born yesterday. You understood exactly what you were doing.”

"Hur rejected that characterization, telling Schiff: “Politics played no part whatsoever in my investigative steps.”

"And yet, when Hur was directly asked whether he would rule out taking a position in the Trump administration if the former president wins the election in November, the special counsel would not do so.

“I’m not here to speak about what may or may not happen in the future,” Hur said." . . .

Here Are the Most Embarrassing Moments for Democrats During Hur’s Testimony – PJ Media   . . ."“I need to go back and make sure that I take note of a word that you used, ‘exoneration,’” Hur said in response. “That is not a word that is used in my report and that is not a part of my task as a prosecutor.”

" 'You exonerated him,” Jayapal insisted.

“I did not exonerate him,” Hur explained. "That word does not appear in the report."

An embarrassed Jayapal then cut him off and insisted it was “her time."

Hur corrects House Democrat: ‘I did not exonerate’ Joe Biden - Washington Examiner   . . ."Jayapal observed that in Hur’s report, the special counsel wrote that “no criminal charges are warranted in this matter.”

“So this lengthy, expensive, and independent investigation resulted in a complete exoneration,” Jayapal said, before diving into a question about specific statutes governing classified material.

" Hur took issue with Jayapal’s comment, asserting that he did not clear Biden’s name of all wrongdoing in the manner she had suggested.

“I need to go back and make sure that I take note of a word that you used, ‘exoneration.’ That is not a word that was used in the report, and that’s not part of my task as a prosecutor,” Hur said.

"Jayapal interjected, “You exonerated him.”

“I did not exonerate him,” Hur shot back. “That word does not appear in the report.” . . .
