The building cold anger throughout America

Peter Skurkiss  "America watches while radical leftists and aggrieved blacks riot, loot, and commit acts of violence up to murder in cities across the country. And more galling than that is the lack of effort by responsible public officials to stem the mayhem. Indeed, more than a few Democrat mayors and governors, when they are not actually encouraging the riots, make excuses for those participating in it. One example comes from New York City where hundreds looters and rioters were arrested only to be released in hours, due to blue-city "bail reform." Americans have see this before and have a gut feeling that few if any of these domestic terrorists will be punished. Other pathetic examples are of the police and some National Guard officers ''taking a knee' in front of protesters to show solidarity with them." . . .
. . .
"By their words and deeds, the Democrats have demonstrated like never before that they are openly hostile to law-enforcement. Some are calling to abolish, or at the very least, to defund the police. That might be applauded by the radical and anarchists, but it goes over like a lead balloon in middle America and I would suspect in most minority communities as well.

"Donald Trump is not a weakling. In the coming campaign, he will boldly accentuate the record of Democrats making it impossible for the Democrats and media to erase what is transpiring down the memory hole. If the history any guide, the turmoil of the 1960s and 1970s led to GOP presidential ascendancy.  If the model holds, I believe it will happen again now --- this cold anger will express itself on election day with not just a Trump victory but also a Republican capture of the House."

Did an aged activist set up the Buffalo police?

Andrea Widburg  "Many Americans understand that the riots aren’t righteous protests but are, instead, leftist activism aimed at destabilizing America and (the activists hope) destroying Trump’s chance at reelection. Still, people found shocking a video showing police in Buffalo pushing an old man to the ground where he lay with blood pouring from his ear. Don’t believe everything you see, though. The old man was a leftist activist looking for trouble and may have staged the whole thing.
"If one views the video in a vacuum, it’s awful. A frail-looking old man standing alone against the Buffalo police is brutally pushed to the ground and left to lie there, bleeding:"

5,200 people are talking about this
"Almost immediately after the video appeared, the police officers who pushed the man were charged with assault and suspended from the force. This tweet illustrates how effective the man’s fall was in advancing the anti-police narrative:" . . .

Walter Duranty: the CNN and MSNBC of his day. "Useful idiots" all

Walter Duranty, Stalin and the Ukrainian Famine of 1932−33
Duranty
. . . "Duranty was among the first Westerners to predict that Stalin (highly skilled at political infighting) would emerge as the next ruler of the Kremlin, and having done so won Stalin’s favor. The second foreign reporter to be granted an interview with the “man of steel,” he found much to like. I hesitate to say Duranty was a sycophant—Stalin had plenty of those—but he certainly qualified as a “useful idiot.” Familiar with the term? Said to derive from Lenin, it means naïve Westerners who were/are susceptible to Communist propaganda and manipulation. Lincoln Steffens, the progressive journalist best known for uncovering graft in American cities, was one. He went to the USSR in 1919, came back and made the fatuous statement “I have seen the future, and it works.” John Reed was another. Edgar Snow served the same dubious purpose in Mao Zedong’s China. A generation later, Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir of France, and Susan Sontag of the USA were very useful idiots.
Lemon of CNN
. . . "This amoral careerist did not write about the Ukrainian famine per se, merely alluding to it by the use of weasel words and euphemisms. Duranty was willing to admit there was hunger in the Soviet Union, but he simply would not acknowledge that things were much
worse. In private conversation with other writers in the bar of the Metropol Hotel in Moscow, however, he talked about it plenty.  Millions were starving, and they knew it. The famine was a poorly kept secret." . . .
. . . "This man, who never doubted the legitimacy of the show trials of 1936−1938, often found a way to put a smiley face on a grim country. He wrote that the deaths of all those peasants had been justified by Stalin’s noble purpose, his “march to progress.” Duranty felt that this and other Stalin-era atrocities were nothing to be very concerned about. “If you want to make omelettes,” he paraphrased Robespierre, “you have to break a few eggs.' ” . . .

Andrea Widburg"Watching the lunacy at the New York Times, my schadenfreude meter has hit 10"
. . . "Of late, though, something's changed at the old Red Lady.  The college grads of the 1960s and 1970s are being pushed out by people who graduated after the year 2000.  These new employees (I cannot, in good conscience, call them journalists) are not merely left-wing; they are radical, anarcho-socialist leftists.  And because they are college grads, they have exquisite sensibilities that equate opposing ideas with violent physical attacks against themselves." . . .
  Sean Ono Lennon, son of John and Oko, tweeted to the Times;
This is the end for you guys. Firing someone for allowing different opinions in your paper means you are no longer a real newspaper. It’s been fun. You had a good run. The best in fact. R.I.P. 🙏 https://twitter.com/nytimespr/stat

NBC ALLEGEDLY TELLS REPORTERS NOT TO USE THE WORD 'RIOTS' IN GEORGE FLOYD COVERAGE

Liberty Unyielding.
MSNBC's Ali Velshi says situation not 'generally speaking unruly' while standing outside burning building
. . . "I want to be clear on how I characterize this. This is mostly a protest. It is not, generally speaking, unruly but fires have been started and this crowd is relishing that," Velshi told Williams. "There is a deep sense of grievance and complaint here, and that is the thing. That when you discount people who are doing things to public property that they shouldn't be doing, it does have to be understood that this city has got, for the last several years, an issue with police, and it's got a real sense of the deep sense of grievance of inequality." . . .

CNN Reporter Says Riot Is ‘Entirely Peaceful,’ Immediately Gets Stuff Thrown At Him
But "not in a mean way"

. . . "On live television, CNN anchor Miguel Marquez told Don Lemon that the George Floyd protests in Minnesota were "entirely peaceful" and a "merry caravan" and then seconds later people throw bottles directly at him. " . . .
The New York Times has always been the go-to source that has set the tone for most other news sources for the past two centuries:

Past winners of the coveted Duranty award.  Recognized in Canada; international fame.
. . . Duranty was a reporter for the New York Times in the 1930s, who sent back glowing dispatches praising Stalin’s Soviet “utopia.” His worship of the Soviet system coincided with Stalin’s murder of ten million Ukrainians and a nearly equal number of Russian citizens.
The brass Lemon
"It was not until the 1990s — when the Soviet Union fell and its Archives were opened to researchers — that the world learned the unvarnished truth about Walter Duranty’s reportage and his motives: Like his ideological allies at CNN, he was a skilled liar, whose “fake news” was contrived to serve the cause of International Socialism.
"Duranty lived a life of opulence, much like those in the Soviet Union’s ruling class or Nomenklatura. He was secretly awarded his own luxurious country home (or “dacha”) by Stalin, and was generously wined and dined, while the average Soviet citizen queued for hours to buy rationed cabbages." . . .
"Imbeciles who rely on CNN wouldn’t know this, but . . ."

Just Like That, Gun Control Support and COVID-19 Died This Week

Clarice Feldman  "After watching hundreds (including Michigan Governor Whitmer and other political figures who placed the rest of us in lockdowns) marching, screaming shouting -- without social distancing and often without masks -- it’s going to be hard to persuade us that even normal social contact will infect us and those around us with COVID-19. After watching the police hamstrung by these same politicians as their cities were looted and burned and they and civilians were severely injured and killed, gun sales are soaring. Without law and order it’s each man for himself. With our biggest cities boarded up and devastated, flight out to red states, where people understand that without respect for law life is too brutal to endure, will snowball." . . .
. . . It’s hardly a secret that the left promotes the idea that all of the problems in the world are caused by others and unfairness to you. It has been their leitmotif for decades to move black voters away from the Republican Party, which has been their staunchest support for equal rights, and into the Democrat party that worked hard to keep them in bondage. What they once accomplished through the Ku Klux Klan, Democrats now manage through a complicit press and corporate and academic elites.
. . . The Internet is full of groveling masochistic whites begging forgiveness of blacks, many on their knees. My email folder is full of contrite apologies from educational institutions and big businesses from Walmart to JP Morgan. " . . .

Past Tunnel Wall posts on the Normandy landings, June 6th, 1944

Joe Biden’s mental decline sadly evident twice yesterday

Thomas Lifson  "How will Joe Bide be able to handle presidential debates?  Or campaigning beyond his basement?
"I almost hate to point this out because I do have compassion for anyone facing the mental challenges of aging. But the Oval Office is no place for someone needing compassion for his or her mental deterioration (or any job-related disability).  Keep Joe Biden feeding the geese at his lavish estate in Delaware and I will gush with sympathy and maybe even share with him my own bouts with aging." . . .
. . .
"Two brief video clips illustrate the difficulty Joe has with remaining coherent. Here, despite repeatedly looking down to his notes, he repeats the same basic point three times within 45 seconds, as if there are no thoughts resident in his brain beyond the single talking point written down: . . .

In his 2012 debate with Paul Ryan, didn't Biden seem more than a little strange to you?

One retired Marine isn’t putting up with Mattis’s nonsense

Regrettable, but I still admire the General as a Marine I'd have been honored to serve under.  TD

Andrea Widburg   "Ret. Marine General James Mattis, who served as Trump’s Defense Secretary, resigned over a year ago, but has apparently been nursing a grudge since then. Last week, he took to the pages of the left-wing Atlantic magazine to air that grievance.
"Mattis revealed a small mind. His facts were wrong, and his arguments foolish and simplistic. The Democrat media, of course, celebrated the article despite its fundamental flaws. Retired Marine Captain John M. Dowd, however, decided that he wasn’t going to sit there and take that nonsense, so he struck back. What he wrote is red meat for conservatives and Trump supporters.
"To understand what Mattis wrote for the Atlantic, you have to know that, while he does love the Marines, he’s a leftist at heart. He supports the global warming agenda; is hostile to Israel; shied away from fights with the Mullahs; wanted so-called transgenders in the military; wouldn’t leave Afghanistan; and ultimately quit because he wanted to keep U.S. troops in Syria (reminder: the disaster leftists predicted for Trump’s pullout never materialized).
"If you need more evidence that Mattis is a leftist politician, he hung out with limousine leftists:. . . "
Previously posted in the Tunnel Wall:

Please, Mr. President , listen to General Mattis...

"...you are all that is standing between us and people like Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, Pelosi, and all those scowling Democrats at the State of the Union and on the House Judiciary Committee.  Once again the White House will be host to the likes of Al Sharpton, friend of white-hating Louis Farrakhan; America-hating socialists like Bill Ayers, foul-mouthed, purple-haired soccer players, and any number of sleazy politicians. Perhaps once again "congenital liar" Hillary Clinton may - once again - enrich herself as a U.S. government official on the international scene. Ukraine may once more grovel before the demands of the Bidens.
Look at the cities run by these people and picture what they will do to America.  All these I fear.    The Tunnel Dweller"

Why Christians shouldn’t jump on bandwagon of progressive groups like Black Lives Matter

Lifesite News

This movement is not about giving justice to George Floyd, but about remaking society and creating a progressive utopia out of the ashes of the society that we now inhabit.

"June 5, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – For the past week and a half, social media has melted down into a dumpster fire of virtue-signalling, accusations, anger, and finger-pointing. If you didn’t black out your profile photo for #BlackOutTuesday, you were probably insufficiently committed to combatting racism. If you didn’t immediately embrace Black Lives Matter, it was your knee on George Floyd’s neck, too. If you refused to climb aboard the raucous bandwagon without first asking who was driving it, Christians of a certain type relished telling others that they were irredeemable racists. One gets the sense that running into a view that differed from their own made these Christians feel a bit persecuted, and relished their brief participation in the ranks of the oppressed.
"What has been incredibly frustrating is that the narrative of a “divided America” is not really accurate in this specific instance. I’d wager that around 90% of Americans agree on two things: George Floyd was brutally murdered, and the perpetrator should be brought to justice; and looting and burning down cities is wrong. Responding to a murder by creating more suffering is obviously not the answer, and people of good faith agree on that. We can all agree on these two basic facts, which means that in reality, we should have much common ground to work from." . . .

Bail Reform Isn’t Working

Vandals run free in Democrat-led cities and we must decide, do we want our entire nation to be afflicted with that kind of government?

American Free Press

"Criminals in California are now essentially operating with impunity as many local jurisdictions and the state’s Judicial Council have moved to enact a zero-bail policy for most misdemeanor and lower-level felony crimes with the threat of the Covid-19 virus being used as the reason.
"Criminal justice reform activists and organizations have been demanding such policies for decades, and the Covid-19 pandemic has finally provided the state’s legal, judicial, and law enforcement authorities justification under the guise of public health.
"Since the policy change, countless dangerous criminals have been cited and released with little or no punishment for their crimes. Late last month, officers in Glendora, Calif., just outside Los Angeles, arrested a man three times in one day, yet were forced to release the criminal rather than take him to jail as a result of the new policy.
"Dijon Landrum, a 24-year-old from the area, was arrested at roughly 8:30 am on Wednesday, April 29 while driving a stolen vehicle. Officers also found other stolen property and narcotics on Landrum and simply issued the man a citation and released him." . . .

Mr. President, It’s Time to Investigate George Soros for Funding Domestic Terrorism

With his billions no way can he be touched.

George Soros, 89, is still on a quest to destroy America
How else can we listen to his words in Davos, Switzerland, track his funding of American political races and pay attention to what he says about President Donald Trump, capitalism, and the leftist causes he backs and the leftist Open Society Foundations he runs, and come to any other conclusion?

Mr. President, It’s Time to Investigate George Soros for Funding Domestic Terrorism
. . . "I’m sure there are many other millionaire and billionaire socialists and globalists involved. It’s time to make them sweat. It’s time to make them run for their lives. If found guilty, it’s time to freeze their assets and hunt them down.
"My fellow Americans, we are at war. We must face it head on. The evil globalist and socialist elites are out to bring down and destroy America.
"Their political arm is the Democrat Party.
"Their propaganda arm is mainstream media and social media.
"Their funding arm is Hollywood and Silicon Valley billionaire elites.
"Their brainwashing arm is made up of millions of Marxist public school teachers and college professors. . . .

Yes, George Soros Sent Money to Fund the Riots—and So Did Taxpayers
. . . "George Soros’ Open Society Foundation features prominently among the organizers and major donors of this program. Also listed is the Tides Foundation, which created the national organization and funding mechanism around the Indivisible movement, which billed itself as the tea party of the left. They want to organize the resistance to Donald Trump using tea party tactics.
"These days, it seems like if you scratch a violent radical protest group, you unearth the involvement of George Soros, merely one among a vast network of billionaire donors hell-bent on destroying America. Someone ought to write a book about that.
Jeff Reynolds is the author of the book, “Behind the Curtain: Inside the Network of Progressive Billionaires and Their Campaign to Undermine Democracy,” available now at www.WhoOwnsTheDems.com. Jeff hosts a podcast at anchor.fm/BehindTheCurtain. You can follow him on Twitter @ChargerJeff.

The eyes of Soros

. . . "His playbook is a combination of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s hero, Saul Alinsky and his book, Rules for Radicals. . . .
. . . "Perpetrate an economic collapse that will put millions of desperate people on the street.
The plan calls for the complete disintegration of law order.Mr.  Soros has his excuse, the election of Donald J Trump as President. Mr. Soros has engineered group think in which some groups, collectively, have manufactured enough fear based upon lies, that people are striking out. We are seeing this with riots in our major cities." . . .

CNN skips Trump's live remarks on surprisingly good labor market report

From the Babylon Bee:  CNN's Ratings Collapse As Coronavirus Fears Empty American Airports

. . . While CNN is usually able to claim millions of captive viewers every day, their audience dropped to almost nothing overnight. With airports completely devoid of weary travelers with dead smartphones and nothing to look at but CNN, the core of the channel's audience has disappeared overnight."Screens at airports across the country continued to play CNN to empty airports, creating a spooky, dystopian atmosphere as hosts ranted to no one in particular.On-air personalities were quick to blame the ratings dive on President Donald Trump, suggesting that he had a hand in creating the virus specifically so that CNN would implode.""This is clearly a Trump and Fox News plot to destroy us," said Brian Stelter. "The anti-science, racist Trump administration wants you to believe this started in China, but it was clearly created in a U.S. government lab to stop the extremely popular CNN!"'Overcome with rage, Stelter then transformed into his alternate personality, a raging, hulking, green monster who breaks things and rants against Trump and Fox News all the time, which is indistinguishable from his other ego except he's green and looks a little less like George Costanza."
Fox News  "CNN continued to avoid coverage that doesn’t fit the network’s narrative on Friday when it didn’t air President Trump’s Rose Garden comments on the heels of a surprise labor report that may indicate the start of an economic recovery amid historic job losses.
" 'We're bringing our jobs back," Trump said at the upbeat press conference covered by other outlets, including Fox News. "We're gonna be back there. I think we're actually going to be back there higher next year than ever before."
"Shortly after skipping Trump’s remarks, the network interrupted programming to carry a press conference with Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the older brother of CNN host Chris Cuomo." . . .
CNN didn’t cover Trump’s remarks live, instead airing “CNN Newsroom” with Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto. Former CNN pundit Steve Cortes tweeted, “It’s almost as if CNN is rooting AGAINST our economic recovery.”
