Court refuses to reinstate student government leader removed for Catholic beliefs: It would trigger people

WND  "Jack Denton will get back his salary as student senate president for the remaining few weeks of his term. What he won’t get back is his job as student senate president.

A federal court refused to reinstate the Florida State University student to the position he was removed from because of his Catholic beliefs, saying it “could produce tumult and chaos.”

"U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor essentially ratified the heckler’s veto issued by the student government when it removed Denton (above) and refused to let him appeal his removal.

“ 'Some might say this only rewards the senate for its discriminatory and retaliatory action—that it allows students to ‘get away’ with violating Denton’s First Amendment rights,” Winsor wrote Thursday. “There is something to this point, to be sure. But the public interest considerations involve more than simply righting a wrong.”

"Because so many of Denton’s colleagues loathe him for stating Catholic beliefs in a private Catholic group chat, it’s unlikely the senate “could function well enough to deliver” on its duty to allocate student activity fees to student groups." . . .Full article here

Flynn’s Lawyer Files Motion to Demand Judge Sullivan Disqualification

1776 Coalition : Lawyer appointed by Judge Sullivan to ...

Denise Simon "Sidney Powell, the defense lawyer for Michael Flynn on Wednesday formally demanded the disqualification of U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan. Her position is that Judge Sullivan is “irreparably biased”. One would have to agree if they listened to the hearing last week, as she went on in her filing to include: Sullivan’s “contempt and disdain for the defense was palpable” at a hearing last week.

"During the hearing, Judge Sullivan even referenced President Trump’s tweets regarding the case and asked the defense team if he is supposed to consider those tweets in his decisions. This man is a judge…and he cant figure that out?

"Then there is the matter of Judge Sullivan’s surrogate. At one point he said: “If the executive wants to take Michael Flynn off the hook, he can pardon him”. It should be noted too that Judge Sullivan demanded to know if Sidney Powell has had conversations with President Trump. None of his business, right? When she responded with ‘yes’, Judge Sullivan demanded to know about the details of those conversations to which Ms. Powell replied, that those conversations are privileged. He told her they are not privileged as she is not a government employee….well she had to correct the Judge once again that many interactions with the President are privileged regardless of the employer. Powell did tell the court that she told President Trump to NOT issue a pardon to General Flynn, at Flynn’s request.

"Crazy eh?

"Sidney Powell’s Motion to Disqualify Judge Emmet Sullivan and Other Relief is found here.

"It is 82 pages. Just for reference, here is part of the Index of the Motion:

TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. Judge Sullivan’s Immediate Disqualification is Mandatory………………………….

2. Judge Sullivan’s Prejudicial Statements and Conduct Have Become Increasingly Shrill,   Unprecedented, and Prejudicial—and Apparently Influenced by Extra-Judicial Sources……………………………………………………………………………….4

a.His false and defamatory comments at the December 18, 2018 hearing echoed those of Rachel Maddow……………………….4

b.Judge Sullivan issued an order inviting anyone to participate as amicus after receiving an email from Robbins Russell firm on behalf of Former Watergate Prosecutors……………….5

c.Judge Sullivan read John Gleeson’s WaPo op-ed and adopted the procedure recommended therein to delay and derail the government’s motion to dismiss………………………………………………………………..6

"Powell has also included in the motion tweets, citations and evidence including that from DNI John Ratcliffe.

"It is suggested to the reader to review her motion page by page. It is fascinating reading including her last sentence of the motion:  "The appearance of bias here is terrifying and mandates disqualification."

Democrat Proposing To His Girlfriend Says He Won't Reveal Position On Adultery Until After The Wedding

CNN-ish Babylon Bee   WASHINGTON, D.C.—According to anonymous sources, local liberal man Penn Millikers proposed to his girlfriend but has refused to reveal his position on adultery until after the wedding is over.

"The staunch Democrat said he wants the woman to marry him but won't reveal his position on adultery until the marriage is finalized.

" 'Listen, I love you, babe, but you don't deserve to know what I think about adultery until you say 'I do,'" he told her during a romantic dinner just after he proposed.

" 'No matter how many times his girlfriend asked, Millikers refused to give a straight answer," said the anonymous source. "He said something like: 'Lookie here, Jill! If I tell you right now whether or not I plan to remain faithful to you, that would become the story! This is just a distraction! I think it's better to just get married first with no prenup. Then I'll tell you what I plan to do.'"

"Other things he refuses to reveal his position on include taking showers, putting socks in the hamper, going out drinking with the boys every night, and watching sports all day while he ignores his family.

" 'You'll find out my positions on these issues once we are married.' "

Fact-Check THIS, Twitter: At ABC Town Hall Joe Biden Says “Boilermakers Overwhelmingly Endorse Me” — But Boilermakers Endorse Trump

The Gateway Pundit  "Last night Joe Biden told George Stephanopoulos at his ABC town hall and love fest that the boilermakers support him.

"Old Joe told this open lie to George Stephanopoulos who refused to correct him."

"But of course this is a lie.
"The boilermakers overwhelmingly support President Donald Trump who actually brought their jobs back to the Rust Belt.

"Why would they support Joe Biden when they ALL know Joe Biden will ship their jobs and livelihood to China?
–Like he did for 47 years!

"Local 154 in Pittsburgh endorsed President Trump in September."

Biden’s Town Hall Answer on Police Reform Is So Ignorant, It’s Scary  . . . "One of his responses was just so incredibly clueless, it was more than a little troubling and makes one really afraid if this guy were to get into the White House.

"He was talking about his ideas on police reform, saying that police should deescalate situations. One way they can deescalate, he claimed, was that if “someone was coming at you” that you should “shoot ’em in the leg” rather than shoot to kill." . . .

Facebook and Twitter Cross a Line Far More Dangerous Than What They Censor

Senate Republicans Calls On Twitter, Facebook Bosses To Testify After Censorship Over NY Post’s Biden Story  . . . "Republican Sens. Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham and Josh Hawley on Thursday called on the heads of Twitter and Facebook to testify, and said a subpoena was in the works, as critics claimed the social media platforms have been censoring reporting critical of Democrats." . . .

Behind the social-media blackout of Biden family corruption   "Hunter Biden is now the subject of multiple stories involving serious corruption. Whether he committed any crimes is a question for prosecutors and the courts. Whether he was paid handsomely for his family’s political clout is a question for voters.

"You wouldn’t know that from ABC’s pathetic town hall with his father Joe Biden on Thursday night. They spoke with him for 90 minutes and didn’t ask a single question about the shocking emails published by the New York Post. That’s either journalistic malpractice or public-relations work. After all, the emails raise profound questions that the candidate needs to answer. They appear to show his son, Hunter, repeatedly using his last name to fill his pockets." . . .

Facebook and Twitter Cross a Line Far More Dangerous Than What They Censor  "Just weeks before the election, the tech giants unite to block access to incriminating reporting about their preferred candidate."
In his New York Times op-ed last October, the left-wing expert on monopoly power Matt Stoller described Facebook and Google as “global monopolies sitting astride public discourse,” and recounted how bipartisan policy and legal changes designed to whittle away antitrust protections have bestowed the two tech giants with “a radical centralization of power over the flow of information.” And he warns that this unprecedented consolidation of control over our discourse is close to triggering “the collapse of journalism and democracy.”

Never forget the evil that has penetrated the Democrat Party: 'This Has Destroyed My Family'

“This has destroyed my family and my good name,” Kavanaugh said in his prepared statement at the hearing. “There has been a frenzy on the left to come up with something, anything to block my confirmation.”

'This Has Destroyed My Family': Never Forget Kamala Harris Tried To Ruin Brett Kavanaugh  "There are plenty of reasons California Sen. Kamala Harris is unfit to be Joe Biden’s running mate — a position that carries the real possibility of her becoming president sooner rather than later if the presumptive Democratic nominee is elected. One of them is how she tried to destroy Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings in 2018.

"Given the fact that the Democrats’ treatment of Kavanaugh during the process briefly energized Republicans in the period before the 2018 midterms, it’s something the White House is eager to revisit. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump told reporters Harris had been “extraordinarily nasty” to the nominee.

“ 'I thought she was the meanest, most horrible, most disrespectful of anyone in the Senate,” Trump said, according to the New York Post.

“ 'It was just a horrible thing the way she treated now-Justice Kavanaugh, and I won’t forget that soon.” . . .

Check out Cory Booker and Kamala Harris laughing at each other during Kavanaugh testimony  . . . "Yea somehow, Kamala Harris and Cory “Spartacus” Booker find the whole thing funny and a joke. The only jokes are the Senators, like Booker, Harris, Feinstein, etc that have dragged this thing out for as far as they can. If you are a sitting senator, try and take your job seriously for once in your life. You are paid $174,000 per year at the tax payer’s expense."
You get rich once you go to the senate with all the corrupt backroom deals you cut. Is taking your job seriously, especially in this situation too much to ask?"

. . . "The meme, first posted by a right-wing page called “The Great American Movement,” shows a compilation of photos of Democratic figures posing with children of Soros, the Jewish-American hedge-funder and Democratic megadonor. The Democrats include Sen. Kamala Harris, the vice presidential nominee; Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi; and Hillary Clinton, the 2016 presidential nominee.
"A caption reads, “Who is really running the Democrat Party? …The Soros family. The original post also says, “George Soros is training his family to carry on his evil legacy…”

Dianne Feinstein Reportedly Caught on Hot Mic Talking About Amy Coney Barrett's Religion

WJ  "
Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California was caught on a hot mic discussing Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s faith, according to a report.

On Thursday, following the conclusion of confirmation hearings for Barrett, Christian Broadcasting Network editor Tré Goins-Phillips, with the company’s Faithwire News, shared an apparent hot mic moment involving Feinstein speaking about Barrett.

The California Democrat, per the video, was discussing Barrett’s pro-life stance.

“She’s been pro-life for a long time. So I suspect with her, it is deeply personal and comes with her religion,” Feinstein reportedly said of Barrett." . . .

Judge Barrett meets TDS

Silvio Canto, Jr.  "Let's hope that classes in the country are not watching the Supreme Court hearings.  Once upon a time, teachers would tune in to congressional hearings to teach about the wonders of our democracy.  What we've seen this week is a pathetic display of what Senate Democrats have turned into.  It's all about abortion or showing their crazy base that they will do, or say, anything to defend Roe v. Wade.  Do you wonder how many centrist Democrats are looking at this and getting sick?

"Let's sample the Democrats, as reported by Stephen Kruiser:

The display put on by the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee on Tuesday ranged from just sad to a most perfect display of what demented partisan hatred can do to a person.

Kamala Harris finally peeled off that campaign aura of calm and reminded us all just how off-putting she is. Harris remained in her office to question Barrett, just to keep the COVID panic porn ratcheted up.

Rather than being thoughtful — which she's probably incapable of anyway — Harris opted for ad hominem.

"Here is more:

Amy Klobuchar was fairly pathetic, admitting that she'd kind of hoped it would be her who was nominated for the Supreme Court one day rather than Barrett.

Gotcha, Sen. Sour Grapes. Klobuchar flailed about while questioning ACB about Roe v Wade and precedent. ACB got her so twisted around at one point that Klobuchar was unable to get out a coherent sentence.

"Then came that awful woman from the beautiful state of Hawaii.  How can people elect such a woman?  They did:

The vilest display of partisan hatred came from the pinched, bitter, and probably evil Mazie Hirono, the senator from Hawaii.

"Her question about "sexual assault" was asked in front of the judge's children.  Senator Hirono told reporters later that she asks that question of every nominee.

"So here we are.  This is what defending unconditional abortion has to done to this party.  They are at the mercy of a crazy radical wing overflowing with partisan hatred.

"Let's hope civics or U.S. history teachers decided to keep the TV off."

It is hard to imagine Joe Biden at the G-7, or mixing it up with China’s President Xi Jinping.

But President Trump’s best path forward is not attacking Biden or Harris. Rather, it is to tell voters what he wants to accomplish in the next four years, and remind them of his considerable past achievements. With the economy under stress, his high ratings on that issue alone should give him four more years.

Fox News   "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stepped in it again. With yet another ill-considered political stunt, she has stirred up President Trump’s base like someone poking a hive of angry hornets, and at the same time put a spotlight on Kamala Harris.

"Neither helps Democrats.

"With much fanfare, Pelosi, D-Calif., introduced a bill that would facilitate removing a president from office should a bipartisan group of legislators agree that he or she was no longer capable of carrying out the duties of his position. She proposed the new legislation to highlight her “concern” that President Trump’s recent bout with COVID-19, for which he was prescribed steroids, had resulted in “some impairment of judgment."

"The bill, which formalizes a remedy allowed by the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, will go nowhere in a GOP-led Senate. The grandstanding move was intended to deflect from Pelosi’s failure to pass a stimulus bill and highlight Trump’s supposedly erratic personality and decision-making. This is the campaign Democrats have chosen to run. Not about issues or policy; it is all about Trump.

"But Pelosi’s move backfired. President Trump hinted that the bill’s real purpose was to make it simpler for Democrats to shove Joe Biden aside, should he win in November, and replace him with his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

"This was a goof by Pelosi. Many probably believe Trump’s assertion, as they watch Biden struggling with what they see as cognitive impairment. According to a Zogby survey conducted in June, “a majority (55%) of likely voters surveyed thought it was more likely (much more and somewhat more likely combined) that Vice President Biden is in the early stages of dementia…”

Ask Ann Anything! ACB Edition

A: Let me assure you that even if Roe v. Wade is ever overturned, in California, New York and other liberal states, you will still enjoy a right to abortion right up to birth (at least), and if the baby somehow still survives, you’ll be allowed to bash in his head in with an oxygen tank. AC
Ambassador Stevens' dying words: "Hillary and Obama, please don't let us die!"

Ann Coulter  "With the Amy Coney Barrett hearings in full swing this week, my mailbox has been overflowing with questions from absolutely no readers! Here, I will deliver the answers that no one asked for.

"Q: How can you say it’s fair to fill the seat of a constitutional giant like Ruth Bader Ginsburg with this far-right, anti-choice, conservative woman?

"A: You’re right, RBG had patience, will — and almost no black law clerks. One (1) black law clerk out of 160, to be precise. To borrow from my journalist colleagues, “Are you a white supremacist?”

"Q: So you think it’s OK to just ignore her dying wish?

"A: Touche! But you’ve forgotten that the Dying Wish clause of the Constitution is trumped by the Retire When a Democrat Is President clause. RBG was fully entitled to have a Democrat choose her replacement by retiring in 2014 when Obama was president and she was 81 years old, had already survived two bouts of cancer, two falls that broke her ribs and a heart operation. She chose not to.

"Q: You’re seriously going to claim that ACB is the most qualified Supreme Court nominee?

"A: Of course! Much like being a police chief in modern America, apparently the No. 1 qualification for this job is: being a woman. I don’t know when my party signed onto identity politics, but I’m not happy about it either. At least we didn’t end up with America’s leading “Karen,” Kamala Harris.

"Q: So you think women shouldn’t run for president or sit on the Supreme Court?

"A: Of course they should. But the way we should find them is not to decide Hey, let’s get a woman for this job! Anybody know one? Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir didn’t become the leaders of their nations because someone said, Let’s find a woman!

"Ironically, the Democrats’ best candidate for president this year actually was a woman, but unfortunately, Sen. Amy Klobuchar was not a woman of color. So now the Democrats are saddled with the smirking insufferableness of Kamala as their backup candidate to a guy with senile dementia.

"Q: What are you talking about, Ann? Kamala is the best! She’s hip, she’s cool, she’s brilliant.

"A: Yes, and she called Joe Biden a racist.

"Q: She’s explained that! On Stephen Colbert’s show, she laughed it off, saying: “It was a debate!

"A: Glad to get this on the record. So the official position of the Democratic Party is that it’s fine to falsely accuse a person of racism as long as it’s done to score political points. At least you guys don’t take racism accusations lightly.

"Q: I’m a conservative, and I thought ACB was terrific at the hearings!

"A: If there were an Olympic sport called “Keeping a Straight Face While Being Lectured by Morons,” ACB would take the gold. Though I might recommend that after repeatedly refusing to answer absurd hypotheticals by claiming, “I would need to hear arguments from the litigants and read briefs and consult with my law clerks and talk to my colleagues and go through the opinion-writing process,” maybe Barrett should not have prejudged a pending case by saying she cried when she saw the George Floyd video and citing it as an example of “hatred” and “racism.”

"Instead of the George Washington and the Cherry Tree myth, I guess our new patriotic fable is the George Floyd Was Killed by a Racist Cop myth.

"Q: My grandpa is in a relationship with a California hipster, and no one in the family knows what to do about it.

"A: This isn’t really that kind of advice column, but at least we’re back to Kamala Harris.

"Q: You Republicans are just terrified by a strong woman of color. Mike Pence constantly interrupted her at the vice presidential debate and Harris’ Republican colleagues in the Senate interrupt her all the time. There’s been gobs of press about it, including an article in The New York Times, “The Universal Phenomenon of Men Interrupting Women.”

"A: My imaginary interlocutors are really obnoxious today.

"1) According to ABC News’ Rick Klein, Harris had slightly more speaking time than Pence at the debate.

"2) But I loved how the Biden-Harris campaign had “I’m still speaking!” T-shirts available for sale immediately following the debate. That didn’t look at all pre-planned.

"3) As for senators interrupting Harris, try looking at the videos that are longer than one minute. Invariably, the reason she’s being interrupted is that she is rudely badgering a witness and not allowing him to answer. Yes or no! Yes or no! Please allow me to paint you into a corner by accepting all the ridiculous constraints of my question without further comment or explanation." . . .  Read the rest here...

Former Portland Democrat Congressional Candidate: We Brought Down Two Statues (Language)

Breitbart   "A former Democrat congressional candidate claimed on Twitter to have participated in the toppling of two statues in Portland, Oregon, Sunday night. The former candidate tweeted, “We brought down 2 statues.” During Sunday’s “Day of Rage” event, “peaceful protesters” vandalized buildings and tore down statues of former Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

“ 'It was so fucking wet tonight,” Amanda Siebe tweeted shortly after midnight Monday morning. “But still, we brought down 2 statues. It was an amazing thing to see those statues fall! Not a damn copper in sight!” . . .

Pelosi Loses It During CNN Interview On Coronavirus Relief, Demands Host Show Her ‘Respect’…

Bret Baier Smoothly Swoops in With an Offer for Nancy Pelosi After Disastrous CNN Interview   "As my colleague Bonchie previously reported, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) gave one of the most disastrous interviews in the history of interviews last night during a wild appearance on Wolf Blitzer’s “Situation Room” program on CNN.

"For those who missed it, watch a 1-minute clip from the interview below, which happened at the end of their contentious exchange. Pelosi became absolutely unhinged after Blitzer suggested she not let the “perfect be the enemy of the good” on the COVID relief bill:" . . .

Nancy Pelosi goes into meltdown on live TV  . . . She melted down like the Wizard of Oz's witch after a bucket of water was thrown when asked why she wasn't willing to present President Trump a stimulus bill for simple relief to American workers hard hit by the COVID lockdowns.

"And we are not talking about a question from a rat-dog like Brit Hume or Catherine Herridge.  The interviewer who drew House speaker Nancy Pelosi's meltdown was the affable Wolf Blitzer, whose soft spot for the Democrats is pretty well known.

"According to Fox News:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., accused CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer Tuesday of being "an apologist ... for the Republican position" during a stunning interview in which she grew visibly frustrated with "The Situation Room" anchor's questions.

The fireworks began when Blitzer asked Pelosi why she "won't accept the president's latest [coronavirus] stimulus offer." . . .

"Pelosi threw out the biggest insult she could think of to Blitzer, calling him an apologist for the Republicans, in her attempt to shut him down. " . . .

"CNN is not only rabidly anti-Trump, they are rabidly anti-Republican in general."  Day after day, their line up is filled with biased vitriol that’s most often not based in any fact. After all, this is the home network of figures like Jim Acosta, Don Lemon, and yes, Wolf Blitzer, who’s no stranger to partisan bias himself." . . .
