Robert Kennedy Jr says Covid lockdowns 'systematically' destroyed America's middle class

Many intelligent Americans might find this man an excellent choice for president decades ago. But RFK would bring into our government the likes of those currently serving Biden. Would his Supreme Court choices be leftists who cannot define a woman? His administration choices include a Mayorkas, a Pothole Pete, a Karinne Jean Pierre, Blinken, Kerry, Trans Admiral Levine? After all, he is a Democrat, serving under powerful people with Liberal, leftist philosophies. TD

  The Post Millennial | thepostmillennial.com

"During a recent interview with Fox News' Neil Cavuto, lawyer and Democratic presidential candidate Robert Francis Kennedy Jr suggested that the Covid-19 lockdowns had helped to systematically wipe out America's middle class.

"He argued that the policies implemented during the pandemic were a boon to the wealthy while turning the lives of the poor and middle class upside down.

"The lockdowns were absolutely catastrophic," Kennedy began. "Worst of all is what it did to the economy ... We shifted $4 trillion in wealth from the American middle class to this new aristocracy of billionaires."

"Kennedy pointed out that as a result, 500 new billionaires were created, and current members of the elite got even richer.

" 'The Oxfam report," he said, "shows that the billionaires that existed at the beginning of the pandemic, the people like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeffrey Bezos, Bloomberg, etc, increased their wealth by 30 percent during the pandemic, from the lockdowns ... Amazon got to shut down all of its competitors!' ”. . .

A New Phase in US-Israel Relations

Biden is not de Gaulle, in stature or in influence. American support for Israel is diminishing in some quarters. Still, it remains strong overall. Much can be done to change the situation for the better. And Israel is a powerful, wealthy nation with viable alternatives to strategic dependence on the United States. Caroline Glick

A new phase in U.S.-Israel relations – JNS.org  "Israel was rocked by the news on Thursday that the U.S. State Department had ordered NASA scientist Dr. Amber Straughn to cancel her participation in the Israel Physical Society’s annual meeting. The news came following Straughn’s posting on Twitter that her “travel authorization was revoked” on Wednesday.

"The State Department’s move, which gives the appearance of an official boycott, would be stunning under any circumstance. But it is all the more alarming coming on the heels of U.S. President Joe Biden’s shocking remarks in relation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government’s efforts to place minimal limits on the Supreme Court’s currently limitless powers.

"In apparently off-the-cuff remarks to reporters on Tuesday, Biden said curtly: “Like many strong supporters of Israel I am very concerned, and I’m concerned that they get this [judicial reform] straight. They cannot continue down this road. Hopefully, the prime minister will act in a way that he’s going to try to work out some genuine compromise. But that remains to be seen.”

"Then, after interfering in Israel’s domestic affairs, Biden added: “We’re not interfering. They know my position. They know America’s position. They know the American Jewish position.”

When in a follow-up a reporter asked Biden if he would invite Netanyahu to the White House, the president’s response was immediate and unhesitating.

“No, not in the near term.”

"Even before the State Department ordered Straughn to cancel her trip, it was abundantly clear that Biden’s statement wasn’t a fluke. And it wasn’t about Netanyahu. Despite the occasional compliments that Biden and his advisers showered on Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett, the administration’s policies were not more pro-Israel when they were in power. Notwithstanding the failure of the administration’s nuclear diplomacy with Iran last year, the Biden administration remained committed to its policy of appeasing Iran and facilitating its nuclear advancement, despite the previous government’s expressed opposition.". . .

Tucker, Don Lemon ousters could be sign networks realigning for 2024 -

  Joe Battenfeld (jewishworldreview.com)

Former President Donald Trump already appears to be abandoning Fox in the wake of Carlson's departure, agreeing to appear on conservative rival  Newsmax to talk about the events of the day.

Tucker, Don Lemon ousters could be sign networks realigning for 2024
"The firings of Tucker Carlson at Fox and CNN's Don Lemon are sending shock waves through the news landscape and could be a sign that both cable behemoths are realigning for 2024.

"Carlson's ouster came just days after Fox settled with Dominion on a defamation lawsuit but reportedly had more to do with a discrimination lawsuit against Carlson alleging misogyny and harassment filed by a Fox network producer.

"While liberals cheered the firing of Carlson, with the New York Times calling him a "right-wing extremist," angry conservatives on Monday accused Fox of abandoning their principles by getting rid of him.

"Carlson was one of the most influential voices of conservatism in America, but he found out that even he wasn't indispensable.

" 'I think it changes things permanently," close Carlson friend Donald Trump, Jr. said, hyping the Fox host as "an actual thought leader in conservatism" and a "once-in-a-generation type talent.

"Fox's Rupert Murdoch reportedly made the call himself to oust Carlson, concerned about the legal trouble he was causing his network, especially the discrimination lawsuit.

"The abrupt departures of Lemon and Carlson may be a sign the networks are trying to shed their liabilities and reinvent themselves as cable TV ratings start to dwindle.". . .

Fox may try to unload some of its perception as a right-wing extremist outlet, and CNN similarly is in the middle of a restructuring of its programs and mission, and is looking to be more centrist than just a Democratic Party voice.

The changes create an interesting dynamic for 2024. Democrats may not be able to count on CNN as the cheerleader and GOP attack dog and conservatives may not be able to count on Fox for being pro-Trump.

It's not clear if Lemon's ouster was related to his sexist comments about GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley or if it was just because the CNN morning show is a disaster.

But Fox is taking a big chance by getting rid of Carlson, who drew 3 million viewers a night and was their main powerhouse personality.". . .

From the Babylon Bee: Millions Of Boomers Call Grandkids To Ask How To Change Channel From Fox News | Babylon Bee

"U.S. — In the days following Tucker Carlson's unexpected ouster from Fox News, millions of calls were placed by frustrated and confused boomers to younger relatives for directions on how to change the channel.

" 'Yes, Sam, it's your Nana, Dear! Can you tell me what button on the clicker will change the TV away from the Fox News program?" said local boomer Edith Brown to her grandson in Idaho. "I want to watch the channel Tucker is on. What channel is he on now? Is it the green button? No? The little red button?' ". . .

Biden the Uniter; master of pitting Americans against each other

President Biden leaned into the microphone and announced that he's running for re-election as President of the United States Tuesday. He added angrily that MAGA Republicans are existential threats to democracy. He was then told to pull up the second window and pick up his Sausage McMuffin.

Joe Biden's hate-speech re-election bid - American Thinker   "Here is the NPR headline, April 26, for its Biden-is-seeking-re-election story: "Biden warns of rights under threat from Trump and 'MAGA extremists' in reelect launch."

"This headline provides eloquent evidence that our president will try to demagogue his way back into the Oval Office come January 20, 2025.

"But more: Please check out this excerpt from the Biden April 25 video announcement, as quoted at Rolling Stone (efforts to unearth the full text of the Biden re-election statement have been unavailing):

"Around the country, MAGA extremists are lining up to take on those bedrock freedoms," he warned as images of Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Donald Trump, and Ron DeSantis quickly flashed across the screen. "Cutting Social Security you've paid for your entire life while cutting taxes for the wealthy. Dictating what health care decisions women can make. Banning books. Telling people who they can love. All while making it more difficult to vote."

Biden Delivers One of the Most Divisive, Hate-Filled Speeches in the History of Our Presidency – RedState   . . ."The good news is that President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. got through his Thursday night primetime speech without any major gaffes. True, he garbled his share of words, as is his custom, and he looked lost at times as hecklers yelled “eff Joe Biden.” And he managed not to stumble too badly as his wife Jill gingerly helped him shuffle to and from the podium. In one breath, he called for unity, in the next he demonized anyone who dares to have a different opinion on his policies.". . .

Joe Biden sells 'Dark Brandon' shirts in re-election campaign (nypost.com)  "This passage amounts to sheer political hate speech, indicating that the incumbent hopes to win another presidential term by throwing demagoguery into a cauldron marked "the politics of hate.". . .

“ 'Let’s Go Brandon” emerged as a popular conservative slogan in October 2021 when a TV reporter mistakenly claimed a NASCAR crowd was chanting “Let’s go Brandon” to celebrate a win by driver Brandon Brown — when they were actually yelling “F— Joe Biden.”

Crime is running riot in Joe Biden's America
"The Left-wing 'defund the police' attitude is at least partially responsible for the current state of lawlessness nationwide

"Nero fiddling while Rome burned is a common metaphor for leaders who ignore the flames around them to pursue some other objective. Nowhere is that more true today than in the United States, where Democrat leaders at every level seem to spend their time obsessing over Donald Trump while cities burn with crime

"By the end of 2022, the Council on Criminal Justice estimated that the homicide rate across 27 American cities was 34 per cent higher than it was in 2019. Gun assaults in the 11 cities reporting data rose 39 per cent, and motor vehicle thefts by a stunning 59 per cent.

"And where is this violence occurring? Among the largest US cities, those with Republican mayors have a homicide rate of 9 per 100,000 people. In cities with Democratic mayors, the homicide rate is 16 per 100,000, nearly twice as high. In cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and Seattle, property and violent crimes have risen significantly.

"In stark contrast to the four years prior, President Joe Biden’s America has wrought chaos and swift decay. While Democrats seem intent on getting Donald Trump on a criminal charge – any criminal charge – they seem to have less time for dealing with the violent crime running wild on the streets.

"Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is desperate to nail Trump over the Stormy Daniels affair. Meanwhile, his own city is being ripped apart. Major crimes rose by 22 per cent last year, while homicides are still above their 2019 level. Some 433 people were murdered in New York last year, still well up on their 2017 low of 292. '. . .

The cities most greatly aggrieved share a common political thread – they’re all run by Democrats, and not by accident.

The New Baby-Killers

Extremists have got to learn to take half a loaf. Just like the cheap labor-demanding GOP donors, pro-lifers need to be told: You can't get everything you want. If Republicans give you this, they'll lose their jobs, and the people who'll replace them want you dead.

 Ann Coulter

"Unlike a lot of people complaining about the anti-abortion zealots, I am an anti-abortion zealot. That's why I'm begging them to stop pushing wildly unpopular ideas. These fanatics are going to get millions more babies killed when Democrats win supermajorities in both houses of Congress and immediately pass a federal law making abortion-on-demand the law of the land.

"They're also going to get a lot more adults killed when those same Democratic supermajorities pass laws taking our guns, defunding the police and packing the court, among other great Democratic ideas.

"We've been rolling our eyes at pro-choicers forever, telling them to calm down, that overturning Roe would just return the issue to the states. Blue states would make abortion legal until the kid turns 14. A few states, like Louisiana, would impose tough restrictions, but most states would come out in the middle -- allowing abortions in the first trimester, plus parental notification laws, and exceptions for rape and incest.

"Instead, the moment Dobbs was released, pro-life nuts rushed to the mics, saying, his is gonna be great! We're going to ban abortion from the moment of conception and prosecute the mothers for murder!

"The Democratic Party has been using abortion to scare suburban women in every election cycle for 50 years. Now, Republicans are finally giving them something to be scared about.

"In Michigan, the Republican gubernatorial nominee, Tudor Dixon, said she opposed abortion for 14-year-old girls who'd been raped because giving birth to her rapist's baby could be "healing.' " . . .

If we don't bind and gag these pro-life militants, in about two more election cycles, we'll have no Republicans in office anywhere. Good luck saving babies then!

George Santos Embraces 'Storytelling'

 Ann Coulter

". . .Biden's lies are lovingly indulged by the media as the "search for a connection" by "a glad-handing pol" (The Washington Post), who has "embraced storytelling" with "the factual edges shaved off to make them more powerful for audiences" (The New York Times)."

"In a space of three days last fall, President Joe Biden claimed to be Puerto Rican, practice Judaism and to have lost his house in a natural disaster.

"Celebrating the Jewish New Year at the White House on Sept. 30, he told Jewish leaders, "I probably went to shul more than many of you did. You all think I'm kidding." No, he said, "I'd go to services on Saturday and on Sunday," adding, "You all think I'm kidding. I'm not."

"Visiting hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico the following week, he said, "I was sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community at home."

"Days later, speaking to Floridians who'd lost everything to Hurricane Ian, Biden talked about a catastrophic fire that nearly destroyed his house after lightning struck. "We didn't lose our whole home," he said, "but an awful lot of it." He'd mentioned this blaze before, claiming that he "had a house burn down with my wife in it."

"Fact-checkers determined he was referring a small kitchen fire, "under control in 20 minutes," according to contemporaneous news reports.

"In a video speech to the Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh three years after the October 2018 massacre there, Biden said, "I remember spending time at the ... Tree of Life Synagogue."

"The synagogue said he had never visited." . . .

America Doesn’t Have a Free Press

In a political order as dishonest and unnatural as our own, the generation of propaganda is a constant necessity, otherwise, the rickety foundation of lies on which the regime rests would collapse.

 American Greatness

No institution spreads disinformation more capably or casually than our own “mainstream” media.

"Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk kicked the hornet’s nest when he labeled National Public Radio “state affiliated media.” The howls of protest were amusing, and telling. While they like to pretend otherwise, the mass media in the United States operate much like the state-run media of autocratic regimes.

And it isn’t just NPR. The New York Times and CNN are preoccupied with the generation of propaganda, narrative making, the enforcement of dogmas (“woke” agendas on race, climate, sex, etc.), and the censorship of dissenters.

"One knows where the state stands on every question just by assessing the volume and tone of discussion in the press. When something occurs contrary to the narrative, coverage is muted, perfunctory—assuming there is any coverage at all. But on pet issues like “white supremacy,” the breathless moralism of the media is no less crude and dogmatic than the propaganda of China or North Korea.

"It was only weeks ago that an anti-Christian mass murderer killed six people, including three children. But shooter’s reported “manifesto” seems to have fallen into a black hole. The Biden Administration has the material, but it hasn’t been made public. If the Justice Department wanted this information out there, it would have been leaked to NBC or the Washington Post by now. If the media wanted it out there, they would seek it out. ". . .

Riley Gaines: Democrats will pay for this

Shake-up in scandal-ridden cable news:

Shake-up in scandal-ridden cable news: Fox Tuckered-out; CNN soured on Lemon | Sharyl Attkisson  . . ."Some have linked the Fox departures to a Fox News settlement of a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems. Dominion sued Fox for defamation saying that the news outlet's reporting on 2020 voter fraud questions wrongly pointed the finger at Dominion voting machines. Fox reportedly agreed to pay Dominion $787 million to settle the case.

"In 2020, CNN settled a defamation suit filed by a student, Nicholas Sandmann. Sandmann says the network defamed him in their unfair reporting that wrongly portrayed him, then a high-school student, as an aggressor in a videotaped incident outside the US Supreme Court. He had sought $275 million in damages. The Washington Post also settled with Sandmann.

"Last December, CNN fired another of its anti-Trump stars: Chris Cuomo. That after it was revealed that he advised his brother, then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, about sexual harassment allegations against Andrew that ultimately forced his resignation from the governor's office.

"In my book, Slanted: How the news media taught us to love censorship and hate journalism, former CNN executive Rick Kaplan (who also led news divisions or departments at CBS, ABC, and MSNBC) predicted that if Trump lost the 2020 re-election, it would lead to a major shake-up at CNN, which had relied almost solely on anti-Trump news to gain viewership." . . .

BREAKING: Conservative News Outlet Hints At Huge Offer For Tucker Carlson (trendingpoliticsnews.com) . . ."In addition to the offer from OAN, Carlson has also received an invitation from Glenn Beck to join TheBlaze, which he owns. Beck, who left Fox News in 2011, stated that he and Carlson had “become friends” over the years and pledged that Carlson would have creative freedom.

“ 'We would love to have you here. You won’t miss a beat. And together, the two of us will tear it up. Just tear it up,” Beck said shortly after the news broke. TheBlaze founder went on to say that the move was “suicidal” for Fox.". . .

Maybe This Isn’t About the Laptop Anymore

The Hunter Biden story began as a story about Joe Biden’s wayward son. It turned into a story about censoring media. It might yet end up being a story about something much bigger. Or it might not. But it was never a “red herring,” and it’s no joke.

Abe Greenwald, Commentary Magazine  "Hunter Biden’s name has become something of a tragicomic buzzword. He’s often invoked as a punchline in jokes about drugs and hookers or as a dig at right-wingers who believe his abandoned laptop holds the encryption key to establishment corruption. He’s a one-man meme machine whose image is captioned and re-captioned for laughs. And he himself has dismissed the investigations into his international business affairs as a “red herring.” But the reality beneath the Hunter Biden spectacle has always been deeply serious, perhaps involving high-level influence peddling and flatly producing a partisan disinformation campaign that suppressed an important news story. This week saw two developments in the case that have the potential to steer us deeper into very unhumorous territory.

"First, on Wednesday, a lawyer for the IRS special agent supervising the Hunter Biden tax probe sent a letter to Congress requesting whistle-blower protection for his client to air allegations that the case has been mishandled and contaminated by political favoritism. As the New York Times reports, the agent claims to have “information that would contradict sworn testimony to Congress from a senior political appointee, an apparent reference to Attorney General Merrick B. Garland,” who had vowed in March that there would be no political interference in the investigation.

"Second, on Thursday, Chair of the House Judiciary Jim Jordan revealed that former CIA Deputy Director Mike Morrell received a call from Joe Biden’s campaign in October 2020, days after the New York Post broke the laptop story. Morrell testified to the House Judiciary Committee that the call from Antony Blinken, then Biden’s senior campaign official, “triggered” Morrell’s organizing a letter signed by 51 intelligence officials incorrectly characterizing the story as Russian disinformation. That letter itself would become the spine of the American  disinformation campaign to exculpate Joe and Hunter Biden and discredit the Post’s reporting. It was cited by online platforms as justification for suppressing the story and by Joe Biden himself in a debate with Donald Trump.". . .

Biden Played the Age Card Against His First Senate Opponent –

  PJ Media

". . .“Cale [Boggs] doesn’t want to run, he’s lost that old twinkle in his eye he used to have,” Biden said of Boggs, who had originally wanted to retire but was persuaded to run for reelection.

"Biden used his opponent’s age against him in a way that was so explicit, one local reporter dubbed his approach, “Dear old dad.”

"Biden was running to become one of the youngest people ever elected to the United States Senate. Now, the president is already the oldest person ever to serve in the office of the presidency, and, if reelected, would leave office at the age of 86. That would best the next oldest president by more than 9 years if he served a full second term.

The president’s age has been “omnipresent” in nearly every conversation, CNN reported in February, though that notion was disputed by a White House spokesperson.". . .

Tucker Carlson Firing Shows Elites, Not Remotes, Control -

Report: Tucker Carlson Reveals He Thinks He Was Ousted Because Murdoch Family Plans To Sell Fox News (resistthemainstream.com)  "Vanity Fair reported that famed former Fox News host Tucker Carlson believes he knows why Fox News Media terminated his contract. Cryptically, the veteran newscaster noted it will be a huge news story if he is correct.

"According to Vanity Fair, Carlson believes “the Murdoch family is planning on selling the network.”

"Vanity reported: “Carlson has told people he doesn’t know why he was terminated. According to the source, Scott refused to tell him how the decision was made; she only said that it was made ‘from above.’

"Carlson said he believes Fox News executives “took his show off the air because the Murdoch children intend to sell Fox News at some point.”

"Former Fox News contributor Candace Owens seemed to agree with Carlson, writing on Twitter:

" 'The theory that Fox News is gearing up for a sale makes sense. They couldn’t do that with a pending lawsuit, so they would have settled. Also puts into perspective why they would have gotten rid of the network star. Real life Succession.”. . .
